I tried on 3 separate occasions to eat here, the first 2 they were closing shop in the early afternoon. To me that is very early for a eatery to close. When was finally able to eat here i waited far too long for my food. The food itself was okay but left little to be desired. My drink was watery and the silverware hadn't looked very clean.

My brother and sister-in-law were in town from Texas and asked to eat somewhere they didn't have at home. I immediately thought of The Omelet Parlor. Angelo was our waiter and was very helpful. The place is really cozy, cute...crowded. We went there to have breakfast several time during our stay in Colorado Springs, early everyday there seems to be a wait. Saturday...you better get up early. There are special accommodations for wheel chairs, but it's a little hard to get around because it seems to have too many tables for the area of the restaurant. The service and the food are really, really good...that's why we came back :)

Strangely signed place, looks like a converted house but unusually spacious inside. The omelettes are enormous, the breakfasts varied and large, with biscuits that remind you of the deep south. These big breakfasts are $10-12 a plate, but the road sign advertises half price omelettes from 6-7 every morning. Also shows 2-for-1 burger madness in the afternoon, but I did not see any of those.

The charm and ambiance is better than the food! I love quaint breakfast places and this is definitely one of them. Food was good, but not exceptional. Service was fair but not ideal. I will go back though. Once in a great while it is a fun place for a good breakfast.

This is the first time I have been to the omelette parlor. And I have to say they get a five-star all the way around. Restaurant staff was friendly. Restaurant was clean and our food came out extremely fast. I had the chicken-fried steak and my wife had the bacon and egg breakfast. If you like chicken fried steak I would highly recommend this restaurant. And if you're looking for a plain old bacon and eggs this is definitely the place for you the bacon was out-of-this-world. The pricing was right on point not overpriced. If you like good old comfort food I would highly recommend you try this place.

I ordered their chicken fried steak. Nice crunch, thick creamy and flavorful gravy. SUPER fluffy eggs X) They were AHHmazing. Breakfast potatoes also had a nice crisp to them. I also tried a fresh squeezed orange juice. The texture is PERFECT and the taste is near flawless. 11/10 overall !

Great food and good prices! Lots of character and flavor! I ate Pats Thunderbird which was very original, a little spicy, and filling. I took half of it home. My fiancé got their breakfast combo and says it was the best bacon he has ever had. The pancake was huge and very fluffy too. Highly recommend!

Today was my first time trying the omelette parlor. I had a Belgium Waffle with 2 eggs over medium and bacon. The bacon was DELICIOUS! My eggs were perfect and the waffle was sooo good. I added the fruit, which I wouldn't do again because I was wanting dessert strawberries on my waffle not fresh, just my personal preference. I look forward to my next visit to the omelette parlor. Oh our server was kind and attentive as well

Best Breakfast in Colorado springs. Get the CC tiger meal if you want a very large and filling southern breakfast. They also serve amazing omelettes, as the name would suggest, and great skillets. If you get a sandwich get either the curly fries or the o.p. potatoes because they are the best. And while there make sure to try the orange Juice. Service is always amazing, but the wait for a table could be a little long seeing as it is very popular and it's first come first serve. It is however worth the wait

I love this place! From the food to the look inside. It's great to find these long established diners that are still at the top of their game. The food that we ordered was very good. In fact we both agreed that it was better than we've had elsewhere. So far we've only been for breakfast but will definitely be going back many times and will try some of the other dishes as well. The omelettes are fantastic. So are the OP Potatoes. All of the staff was very friendly and cheerful. Overall it was a great atmosphere in which to dine.

It should be a crime. This place is too good. My friend and I were stuck on the menu for a hot minute, trying to decide which delicious foods to try. We ended up getting multiple meals to split. The struggle was real. Every single thing we ordered was incredible. The cinnamon roll & croissant were flaked to perfection. The eggs were as fluffy as the clouds. The gravy, savory & smooth. The bacon was crispy and bursting with flavor. And oh, the potatoes. A slight crisp with a mashed potato finish. Absolutely incredible. We shall have leftovers for days.

I liked my French toast with ham and potatoes. Very good. It's the thick bread French toast. They give you enough food to last a couple of meals (mainly potatoes), so be aware of that before going if you're appetite isn't that big.

The atmosphere is unique, charming and very pleasant. It is an historical building with some interesting history. The bathrooms were clean. We will most likely return when we are in the Springs again!

My omelette tasted great, but the tortilla inside made it kind of hard to eat. Coffee was very tasty, but refills on it and water were a bit slow - never got a water refill at all. Green Chile sauce very yummy, glad I got it on the side so I could share it and dunk my great potatoes in it.

Great service and love the ambience! We got the Great Chili Cook-off, Pat's Thunderbird, Two Two & Two, and a side of biscuits and gravy. The servings are big and filling and there was a lot of ham in the Great Chili Cook-off omelette. The Pats Thunderbird was a bit weird because they have a tortilla in there but it was pretty good. The green chili does not really have a kick to it though so if you like spicy food, you might not be a fan. The french toast was super good so I'll definitely get that next time!

I'd rather go to IHOP or Village Inn. Stopped here on a Tuesday, day before 4th of July, at about 1030am. Place was packed. Had to wait 20 minutes for a table. I was with my 72 year old dad, no place for him to sit to wait. Sat in a booth, booths are small, table doesnt move, and there's a step. I had juice and the crazy large pancake, size of my plate. Pancake was dry, they forgot the cheese on my eggs, and forgot my side of sausage. Only 1 refill on grapefruit. The juice was good. My sister got the santa fe skillet, very spicey but she loved. Dad got the eggs benitic with sliced potatoes, very good. Everyone was happy with their meals, me not so much. I've been here a could of time, years ago and really enjoyed it. But it's visit not so much.

The employees are really friendly and food is good. We have no complaints about the food. However, I am rating 3 out of 5 stars due to it needing a major facelift. The sitting is extremely uncomfortable!!!! I am an average sized person and my stomach was almost touching the table. The place is very outdated and decor is all over the place. It was also really cold inside as well. Parking lot also needs works. We came the day following snow and it looks like they didn’t do anything about the snow. The parking lot is covered in ice, which is very unsafe. With all of that aside the food is good and worth the trip.

I'll say the food and staff is good. My issue is that you have to be a certain height and size to fit comfortably in the booths and it's not fair. I have reported this issue and I was given the excuse that they would have to close to update the seating issue. So I was given a chair at the end of the booth which blocked the isle where people walk. Until this issue is updated I'll simply go elsewhere cause management obviously doesnt care to update and fit everyone that comes in.

I love the food, the atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. The only reason I love it 4 stars is because they have a very small waiting area at the front door. It clutters the entrance and exit when there are several waiting to be seated. And then you have a lot of people waiting to "cash out" and pay their bill at the front register. But that's all I have to say about the negatives. It's delicious! I would recommend it!

This review probably won't be helpful for some, BUT the last time I went to the Omelette Parlor (which was a little over a year ago - travel is limited for me so getting there and to other places is hard) I had pancakes and sausage and I think one or two fried eggs. I went on a Sunday day morning, about 8:30 or 9am - so the busy part of the morning. My party of 6 (including me) waited about 15 or 20 minutes before we were sitted and another 5 before we were asked what we wanted to drink. Omelette Parlor is super popular and busy (even for a Sunday morning, so wait time may take a bit). The food was GREAT, service was friendly, food came out within 30 minutes (pretty good for a busy restaurant), and I would definitely recommend to people who have time to wait! I will definitely return when I am able. If you do plan on going (especially with a medium to large party) plan ahead; Omelette Parlor is VERY popular and space is limited. So net time will be about 1-2 hours depending on when you go and your party size.

A bit of a wait for breakfast at 11AM, but when you serve the best breakfast in town it's to be expected. Skillets, thick cut bacon, great coffee, and bigger-than-the-plate pancakes, the food was amazing. The friendly service, ambiance, and history on the walls make this restaurant a gem. I pride myself on finding hole-in-the-wall eateries when our family travels, and this is one we will return to if we ever pass through Colorado Springs again.

Colorado native who has been here many times and always enjoyed my experience. Recently took my one year old here for his first visit and had a great experience. got seated right away and got my order in very quickly. My boy wasn't feeling very good and suddenly threw up all over himself and his seat. The busser noticed and came over and brought me a towel and told me not to worry at all. He didn't make me feel bad or make a big scene and I am more than grateful for the way he handled the situation. Food was great as it always is and the staff was awesome as they always are. Definitely will be bringing my son back to show him why local places deserve our business over the big chains. Thanks again and love Furry's too for an adult's night out.

I have been coming here for 19 years now and I must say it has gone downhill. My past few experiences have not been the best, but today was very unacceptable. My husband went in to put down our name.. the host told him 30/35 minutes. We waited in our car for 10 min then we were waiting out front for about 30 minutes. He went in to ask where we were on the list and they told him they had already called us so we would have to wait the 30 min again, he said okay. So we waited for 40 more minutes, then asked where were on the list and we weren't even on the list! When I said we had been there for over an hour waiting the hostess pretty much laughed in my face. I have now tried calling twice to speak to a manager and nobody answers the phone. Horrible customer service!! We will not be returning and it makes me sad because we have been long time customers.

Best breakfast place in all of Colorado Springs. The ambiance is relaxing and the food is top notch. The sausage gravy is delicious! I feel I am down south when eating their awesome grits. Will be returning most definitely.

Very nice environment for breakfast! Fantastic service. Wonderful thick bacon. Food was pretty good, the sausage patty was thick but needed more overall flavor.I got the pork green chili skillet. I wished there was more pork in it.

Alright so this place is busy so be prepared. The plate sizes are huge. The pancakes well let's say they are the size of the plate. The inside of this amazing. I love how they have the history of the home in the front and you can tell it was a home. There is a bar in the back by the bathrooms so that's nice to know.

Usually a wait on the weekends of about 15-20 minutes, super friendly staff, fast service (once you're sat) amazing food, and monthly rotation of pancakes

Tried this place because I saw it on the news while waiting for my car to get done at the shop. Decided to try it and it was not a mistake. The food is great. The service is great. The environment is welcoming. Definitely plan on going back!
