REVIEWS OF Lucile's Creole Cafe IN Colorado

Stu Hogg

Delicious and super fast service.

Nicole Sweet

I really love their biscuits with homemade jam. They are delicious. Very comfortable atmosphere and great staff. Will be back soon!

Reis Galvan

Damn good creole brunch. Everything we tried was delicious, with excellent portion sizes as well.

Matt Silva

Great food and reasonable portion sizes with a homey atmosphere. Fantastic biscuits and beignets as well!

Pat Lucero

I've been here many times, always great food and drink. I recommend the Cuban OJ!

Scott Donaldson

Best breakfast period...

Julio Noriega

Very rude employees! and Very pricy coffee

nic goetz

Best scratch made breakfast I've had in Denver. Can't wait to go again.

R Turner

First of all the inside is solid. By that I mean everything in there was well built, sturdy, woodgrain seats at the small bar where you can get full menu service. I usually pay cash for my beverage, at least the first one. I use the quick transaction to flip the wait staff a nice top. I actually over tip and nine times out of ten I get Cadillac service I call it. Sweet, attentive, and they will chat you up a bit sometimes. I was far away from home and they made me feel like a regular. The staff was very familiar with the menu and were able to make good suggestions when I said what I was in the mood for. I went f few times over a couple days and one highlight was the Oysters Rockefeller. Gigantic plate with steamy hot Hollandaise and it was like I was in another part of the world and I was transported to a beautiful southern coastal hotel with the pillars and lovely balcony with ivy growing on the lattice attached to the brick wall. "More Worshester Sauce?" "No thank you but I'll have another cup of coffee with milk please"

OuterStace Namaste here

Incredible food, service and atmosphere! Beneighs are out of this world.

John Marquez

Really cool location. Louisiana breakfast, long waits on weekends. Parking sucks. Good food friendly staff.

Tom Falter

Great Cajun! Family feel. Best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. The biscuit was like a buttery pillow from heaven.

Susan Fetyko

Second best beignets outside of New Orleans

kokovox D

The food was OK but not great. I ordered the crowfish etufee and I can't say it was very good. The omelets looked and tasted better.

Jemmabella Cabral

One of my favorite breakfast/brunch spots in both Denver and Boulder! Everything is made from scratch!! Biscuits, beignets, juices, sauces, everything!

lauren suffian

Unique, Charming inside & out. Cheese grits were not cheesy. Initially fried oysters were hard, crunchy, over fried but they quickly graciously replaced them with very good fat oysters with a dense crunchy batter. Wine is only by a split (1/2 sized bottle), if you order tell the waiter to save the cork so you can take it with you if there's wine left in the bottle. They'll recork it, put it in a paper bag, staple it closed with the receipt. The baking soda biscuit was wonderful, huge, buttery, crisp exterior and tender crumb interior. 2 home made jams on table were pretty good: one rhubarb, one sweet pepper. The Rockefeller sauce with my oysters was delicious, the omelet under it was superfluous but if you have big eaters it is a big plate of egg. Coffee was much better than average. Too many tables & seats crowded together even when nearly empty. So why a 4 star rating? Because it was beautiful inside & out. Everything was made from scratch & tasted like it. I'll definitely go back, this time I'll ask for more cheesy in my grits.

Mallory Martinez

Heard it was the place to go to get beignets that taste like you're in New Orleans. Was not disappointed! So good! Breakfast was super good as well! That Hollandaise sauce was really good and kudos to the chef! My Cajun Mary was awesome! So was my iced coffee. Definitely coming back next time I'm in Denver!

Jeannine Lapin

Great staff. Great food. French toast was wonderful and their biscuit is killer.

John Morella

New Orleans brunch cafe. So good!

Elijah Shekinah

Pleasant spot with creole themed accents and southern Louisiana food. The eggs jennie were great and the fresh squeezed orange juice was fantastic! They're handmade ketchup and hot sauce are delicious and, while we didn't get any, the beignets looked excellent as well.

Clarissa P

Wonderful super cute environment. Delicious food. Home made ketchup, hot sauce, syrup and marmelades. Excellent and friendly service!

Tonia Contorno

Yummy breakfast and lunch. Great for groups.

Charissa Grixby

This is one of my favorite brunch places in all of Denver!!! Nothing here is bad. The Cuban OJ and beignets is the best way to start a Sunday funday. They make everything fresh on site. Form the scratch made biscuits to sausage to hot sauce. If you're in the area you need to stop by.

brandon laird

Lucille's has great food and staff. I've gone hear for years. The place is so popular that wait times have dramatically increased. Sa la vie.

David Gines

Beignets are the real deal! Great breakfast, and great atmosphere!

terry love

Love the beignets that's my favorite thing on the menu

Amanda

I love the food and the atmosphere. Well be coming back for sure.

Ghosty 427

Excellent food, quick seating, and super friendly service. We had beignets, biscuits & gravy, jalapeno cheesy grits, and eggs Benedict. Everything was perfect and delicious! Would highly recommend and will definitely return for brunch.

Kate Havekost

Yummy yummy. Their twist on eggs Benedict is possibly the only egg dish that will get super excited to go eat. I'm usually eh about brunch but not at Lucille's.

Elizabeth Hamilton

Loved the whole experience. Popular spot so there is usually a short wait, but they have beverages available to sip on and the fire pit is so cozy. Quality service, fun atmosphere, and delicious food!

dakota wendel

Food was good service absolutely awefull. We did not receive our water untell are food came. We were getting ignored the entire time and when the waitress did pay attention to us she acted like we were a problem for her. The bloody Mary's are also not that great they have shrimp in them and the bloodys just does not taste good.

M Buller

Had a really good breakfast. And yes the beignets were good and service was really friendly and fast.

Kelsy Simpson

Our server was super friendly and attentive for starters. We didn't have much of a wait for a table and our food was ready so fast! There weren't many vegetarian entree options but I had the oatmeal and cheesy potatoes (both were fabulous) and a cranberry mimosa. They give you personal bottles of champagne for your mimosa, which was nice.

Petra Pearl

Absolutely delicious! I love the beignets always a delight. Got the red beans and poached eggs with potatoes! So delicious try the mimosas!

Kim Smed

Crazy lines and wait times for average food. Others rave about it but there are much better, less expensive, less busy, better quality places to eat. The service is average at best. If you must have Creole go for it but if you just want brunch or lunch... Pick a different place.

mohsen yawer

Wonderful food. Wonderful staff ambience of the place is very homey and my god the biscuits. The food comes out fresh and on point every time and the service here is absolutely fantastic.

Anna Jameson

My go to brunch spot after a race, as that is the only time I truly feel it is acceptable to eat an entire biscuit. They are amazing and huge! I adore the eggs New Orleans- it’s my go to.

Frank Trujillo

Great food and amazing atmosphere

Cel Durant

Excellent New Orleans menu. The beignets and chicory coffee are perfect.

DK Williams

Lucile's is my absolute favorite brunch place in the Denver metro area. I love the shrimp and grits. The biscuits and gravy are also great. Best beignets this side of Cafe du Monde.

Flynn Burklin

Fantastic, homey place for southern comfort food! Love everything I've had there, from the Beignets to the Eggs Benedict to the Bloody Mary.

john rosentrater

Over priced for so so food. Liked the facility.

Dion Leman

Awesome! Eggs Rockefeller. Get it with sunny side up eggs instead of scrambled. The fried oysters were perfect

Sean Stephenson

Lucile's really shines in all the major categories of a great restaurant. The service was wonderful from the hosts to our table server, for one. The quality of the drinks was also excellent, and the fact that there was a place for us to relax and have a cocktail while we awaited the rest of our party was a great perk! The decorations and aesthetic are quirky and cozy, giving the restaurant a unique and homey feel. Finally, there is the food. Wow. It was amazing. The prices were consistent with brunch prices for the Denver area, but the portions were huge! I was very impressed with how perfectly my eggs were poached, and the fact that I got a fresh made biscuit with my meal. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and I will definitely be coming back and recommending it to my friends.

Laura Leslie

Best creole food outside of New Orleans.

Charlotte Austin

Absolutely awesome. The eggs Benedict are excellent - crispy ham and eggs, perfectly poached eggs and a delicious hollandaise. If you have space, don’t miss out on the beignets! Cozy vibe and great service - we’ll definitely be back :)

Kim McFadden

Customer Service was excellent. I was surprised at how relaxed & accommodating it was especially on Mother's Day with extra crowds in for the holiday. The Food was very tasty & authentic!

Jessica Aldrich

Delicious food and great service! We are definitely going back

Sabrina Caccamo

The food is good, I’ve had the oysters which was more batter than anything unfortunately, which made the wilted greens sort of sad by comparison. I’ve also had the biscuits and gravy with cheesy grits, potatoes and red beans. Super decent, I just wish that the phone would be answered more frequently, among other things...

Ryan T

Friendly and accommodating. They kindly accommodated for celiac (gluten free) with no issues!

QiBoy 777

Awesome local spot with GREAT cuisine!!! Had a delicious Creole breakfast there. Pleasant staff, good food. Expected prices for the location. Try it OUT!!!!

Elise Odom

I can't remember what I ate (which probably says something in itself) but I do remember not was good. Our friend from South Carolina said the food was EXACTLY like the food 'back home' so if you are looking for a southern style dining experience this is a great place to go. Unfortunately, there are two of them on the SAME street so meeting friends for breakfast that morning was a nightmare (trying to find parking, then after finally snagging a spot, walking a mile or so to the place finding out it was the OTHER Lucile's Creole Cafe on Logan St! So frustrating)

Bridget Anne Moore

I feel like we get lucky every time we travel! This little gem has the option of shared round tables, where they were able to seat more people and we had the most pleasant experience!!! We met locals and travelers alike!

김윤서

It was the worst food I've ever had. Egg benedict's eggs, potatoes and even bread were all overcooked. There were no runny yolks. Salmon dish was also overcooked so it looked like ash on it. Breakfast was so frustrating...

Hamilton Bryant

Biscuits were dope. Everything was good. Waitresses were fun.

Tolu J-M

Can't remember exactly what I ate. I guess it was ok. Menu is full of interesting options. Something about the environment made me feel I won't be returning.

Pete Dittrich

Food was good service was rough... If you have 2 hours wait around to order food and eat then it's a great spot but if have any time constraints don't risk it. I've experienced this three times now so it wasn't a fluke. The food is good but the time it takes for everything is rough

Annabel Golden

Great Southern food. Fabulous service.

B G

It’s a no for me. Nothing was fresh. Nothing is Cajun or creole for that matter. Maybe we caught them at a bad time since it was 140 when we arrived? Either way for the price, it was horrible. For the record, Cajun does not mean BURNT!!!

jason

My Rating 4.4. Cajun food done right! Great breakfast joint, I'd give it a go.

Zaid Alemam

I wish we had a place like this in NC. I love Creole food and this place serves very tasty meals! I ordered the fried eggplants with egg, a side of eggs and sweet potatoes! I also shared some Beignets that were delicious. The restaurant is very cozy and the wait staff wonderful. If I'm ever in the area I will definitely stop by this place again. Oh the coffee they serve is great too!

Todd Thrash

Coming from a guy who used to live in Louisiana, this place is as close as you can get to the real New Orleans feel and cuisine. Absolutely one of the best places in Denver.

Ilana Conti

We always love coming to Lucille's! Great food, and great servers!

J Mizell

Every Lucile's location is consistently a great breakfast choice. I love the atmosphere of this location, and as usual, the biscuits were perfect.

Cole Gibbs

Excellent breakfast. Everything is made in house. The pepper jam was delicious. I will definitely be back for some crawfish and greens.

Terry Lowe

Brunch at it's best. Lots of creole menu selections guaranteed to delight. Great staff too.

Tino the SmoovSpaztk

I love Lucile's. Every location in Colorado has a down south comforting feel. The drinks are delicious and the creole inspiration for the cuisine is wonderfully executed. My favorite is the creole omelet.

Kim Alba

Best biscuits and gravy I have ever had. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. Highly recommend

Jose Alfaro

Be aware If your skin color is anything besides pale white your experience is going to be mediocre. I went In there with wife, and received very uncomfortable stares. We couldn’t enjoy a nice breakfast. It’s sad most places are like this in this area. Host be more pleasant.

Zach Hill

Great food. They make everything in house including jams and hot sauce

dinesh veeramaneni

Awesome brunch. Service is very quick. Loved the atmosphere and the food.

Finn Beruldsen

You get the sense that what you're eating will take time off you life... but it's the best tasting Faustian bargain you'll ever enjoy.

Travel and Vanabus

Perfect Creole brunch spot! The restaurant has both private and community seating, which makes tge wait short or non-existent (we waited less than 2 minutes.) The beignets, Eggs Rockefeller and the french toast were delicious. The portions were perfect and the service was stupendous. Thanks Madeleine for a perfect Saturday brunch!

Francis Kiwon

Lucile's chicken robichaux was a great daily special with a wonderful harmony of caper cream, chicken steak, and spinach. The chef should be proud of serving it!

Sean Dunham

Service was excellent and the environment was quite pleasant. Beignets were scrumpdidlyumptious. Will definitely be bringing other friends here in the future!

Ryan Halpin

Always great food and now expanded seating

Jonathan Hendry

Came through for lunch the other day and really enjoyed it. Had the shrimp poboy and it was great

Travis Rosenbluth

Just flat out awesome, righteous, and all around great place to eat. 4.6 average is to small this should be a 5⭐️ and it is in my book. I'm coming back every time I'm in Denver

Ryan Helmig

For a Cajun place it has the most bland food I've ever had. The biscuit tasted like Bisquick and water. The shrimp tasted like it was sitting in boiling water with no seasoning in it. Maybe it was an off day for the kitchen but everything was just bland.

John Brumleve

Delicious breakfast menu, great service, and an outstanding selection of fresh jams/preserves

Hanna Walker

The food was lovely however our server was not. Maybe just a bad day for her not sure but her attitude surely dampened the happy atmosphere.

Savannah Williamson

Super yummy Cajun food! Very homey place on the inside. Cloth napkins, mismatched furniture, etc. Lots of egg/omelet options. French Toast instead of waffles or pancakes, but they're so good. Get some beignets to start! Enough for 4 people. The plates are pretty large, so the last time I was here, my mom and I split a plate, just adding on an extra side. I highly recommend the cheese grits. I'm a Southern girl, so it's hard to impress me with grits out west, but these were great. I've also eaten here with a friend who has allergies, and they were able to accommodate his gluten-free and dairy-free needs. They get VERY BUSY on the weekend for brunch. If you get there first thing, you should be fine. But if you get there around 11 or later, you may be looking at an hour or an hour and a half wait. However, there are places to sit outside, with a fire pit. And you can get a drink at the bar while you wait. Indoor and outdoor seating. Dogs permitted outside.

Vincent Sickles

Nice people and good food

Kaile Zang

The best brunch in Denver that I have ever experienced. Every time I go, it's home to me. The culture of the ambiance, the buttery biscuits with apple butter, cinnamon lattes, blackened salmon. The service is friendly, speedy, and familiar as there doesn't seem to be much turnover of the staff! Love you guys.

tammie Arellano

Took boyfriend to eat here, he’s from Louisiana . The worst food, bland , no spice. Got my drink in a dirty cup with something dried on it . As he say ,that’s not NOLA food.. sorry I will never return or recommend this to anyone

Leah Eaves

Great Creole style brunch!! Always a little busy on the weekends, but well worth the wait.

Steve C

Very unique breakfast place with top notch food.

Bob Upanddown

I love this place! The food is always fantastic and the staff is always friendly. I have read through some of the previous reviews and probably don’t have much new to say about this place. If you like Creole food, This is probably the best spot in Denver to get it. Stay away vegetarians and vegans. Although the place is a little bit hippie-ish, you won’t find better food within 100 miles.

Anthony DeLoach

Atmosphere, staff and food were great.

Bradley Sapp

The food was great! All home made. It all had the same consistency mouth feel. The food was rich but good. The water glasses were a tad small.

N O

Excellent cafe - packed on the weekend because they are good. High quality, great juice, biscuit, beneficts. Servers have great t-shirt: Friends with Benedicts.

Dorothy Todd

Always one of my favorite spots. The food is consistently good. The wait staff are friendly and helpful.

Dan Murphy

Great experience and great food. Not to be missed

Niles Koenigsberg

Every time I go, I get the Pain Perdu! Awesome Louisiana-style french toast with terrific sausage and a medley of fruit. Definitely puts my french toast to shame. I love Lucille's and I'm sure I'll be back soon.

Lexi Lulu

Best breakfast joint I've been to in a while! Some friends and I stopped by for Sunday brunch. They were definitely busy, but they were incredibly friendly and efficient. Their menu is very unique with different options for different preferences. (Salmon for breakfast?! Hell yeah!) Also, whatever they use to season their potatoes is absolutely divine! I highly recommend sitting on their patio, if weather permits.

Brandy Davis

Man, Lucile’s used to be the best. I haven’t been in years, hyped it up to a friend, and it was actually so bad neither of us finished our food. Biscuits were dry, jams had a strange flavor (blueberry was excellent, though), the server had a huge gash with stitches uncovered on his face, the Cuban OJ had a big hit of alcohol at the bottom ... unstirred or had been sitting a long time, the pan fried trout was dry and cold, the jalapeño cheese grits were bland and flavorless. What happened, Lucile’s?

Autumn Pastor

Been coming here for a year now and honestly never disappointed! Also, hands down best biscuits and eggs benny I’ve ever had in my life. The servers are all so nice too!

Jennifer Vezina

Great food, great bloody marys!

Yelena Udler

Omg! Better food than New Orleans that’s for sure. Totally worth the wait for brunch. I can’t get enough of their beignets and biscuits. Very creative flavor couplings as well.

Nathan Dwyer

Amazing quality food!! Awesome cocktails!! Great staff!!

Michael Keeney

Food was fantastic. Even tho it was busy service was great. The cajun margherita was tasty. The gumbo was awesome!

Andrew Toig

Good experience. Definitely a good idea to go early, otherwise expect a long. also, the best vegetarian breakfast item has for some reason been removed from the menu. It's called The Hanks scramble, and they will still make it for you, you just need to ask.

Natalie Navarro

Great food, drinks and service. However we did have a misunderstanding. You see it’s pretty loud here and our hostess gave us a few seating options. She offered to go outside as that would be the quickest. We approach a table with two lovely young ladies at it and to our horror we were seated there...how do you respond? (Introverts to the max) Eventually we excused ourselves from the table and apologized to the hostess for the misunderstanding. She seemed a little frustrated but everything was great after that. So odd to be asked to share a table.... definitely did not make that clear. Considering the price I kind of expect my own table.

Rodney Reed

The food and customer service was outstanding today! Neeha loves her job. It shows in her attentive ess, attention to detail, and efforts to ensure her customers have a wonderful experience!

Deb Valleau

What are wonderful meal. You have to take time to try this place out.

Lane Parsons

This place is amazing! We went here for breakfast, and I was very pleased: great atmosphere, and incredible food. We had the hickory coffee and potatoes and shrimp. We’ll definitely be back.

Deb Badger

Best breakfast cafe ever!! Vintage decor, friendly staff, amazing breakfast plate menu and yummy rice pudding they call "porridge

Vince Fresquez

Tasty creole breakfast fare. Great service. Well worth the wait time and time during meal.

gerry furukawa

Thai is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. It has the best breakfast and lunch selections to choose from. Also the staff are very friendly and give great options.

A Howe

Great food, excellent house-made ketchup, and friendly staff. A little gem of a joint.

Kelton Deisher

This place is always packed for lunch but says a lot about their food and service. It can get pretty warm in the restaurant which isn't great on hot days but the food is awesome. Great beignets! I always get the Cajun breakfast but my friends order a lot of different things and have loved each thing they have tried.

Bryan Sherburn

Lucile's is the best brunch spot you can go to in Denver. Everything on the menu is high quality and delicious. Service is quick and tables are turned fairly quickly so waits are never too long.

Audrey Cornwell

First time there. The food was amazing and prepared in a timely manner. Waitress was very polite and made sure we were comfortable. I definitely plans to go back.

Chris DeWit

There can be a wait, but everything is great.

Jenna Proudfit

Lucile's is the one place I make sure to visit when I'm visiting Denver. It's filled with locals and for good reason. The Cajun bloody Mary's and beignets are amazing. The service is quick and friendly. Make sure you get there with your full group because they don't seat without everyone there. Even though it's busy you probably won't have to wait long. The grits feel like real southern cooking and the buttermilk biscuits are as big as the plate they come on and pair fantastically with the blueberry jam or the Cajun sausage gravy.

Linda Delegans

So worth the wait!! Love their coffee concoctions! Best gumbo west of NOLA! Massive portions will leave you sleepy and satisfied!!

Alex Haney

Best biscuits in Denver! Food is all amazing, my partner loves the bennys and I love the beignets with their yummy jams. Get a Bloody too! (I've only been for brunch)

Kimberly Kanigel Winner

The original Boulder location will always be the best, but this one is pretty close.

Bree Neison

Always delicious! Love their biscuits (you need to try the pepper jelly, trust me. It's not spicy, it's just GOOD). Staff is friendly. We only waited 25 min for a table on a Saturday morning which is rare! Will forever come back, although a little pricey, but worth it for the quality of the food and staff.

Danielle Barton

Delicious food and large servings. Everything is so fresh. I can't wait to go back. We did not have to wait, but we did get there at 830am. Our waitress was friendly. Its just a really cool place for brunch.

Johanna Mendez

Hard to find parking and the staff could be friendlier, but the food was fabulous.

john debroeck

Menu is awesome. Massive biscuits. Their ketchup and hot sauce are great.

Timothy Mayfield

A refreshing break from your typical omelette and pancake brunch scene. I went on a Monday and received fantastic service and food in a clean yet homely space. Fresh chicory coffee and a warm buttermilk biscuit might have been the best possible way to start a day. I'm going to make it a regular thing.

Krissy J

Food was great brought my dad, who is a native of NOLA. The French toast was amazing and the Beignets are on point.

random gacha spoder

I love it! I would definitely recommend the biscuits

Samanta Harding

Absolutely delicious! Reasonable wait times and attentive staff

Walter G

I’ve never been to Louisiana but if the food there is anything like here, let’s go. Staff is on top of it, food is fresh, coffee is hot, music is classic. Perfect breakfast.

jailene mendoza

I'm from KS I visited this place while i was in Denver and it's the only restaurant I went to twice while on vacation. It's so SOOOOOO good and the staff is so friendly! Wonderful beignets and porridge and other things. Love love

Emeka Okafor

Great service. Great prices. When the gravy and biscuits came out I'll be honest, I was scared. It looked too beautiful and intimidating. I prayed and went in headfirst. Best decision of my young life.

Monica Medina

I was expecting something more for a brunch setting. The food tastes great, don't get me wrong. And I loved the beignets... So good. I had the eggs Benedict. But everything seemed small and the plating was weird. I ordered grits with my meal and they put the grits on the same plate as my eggs, so they ran into my english muffin. Why would that be appealing? What a poor choice and it ruined it all. Grits should be served separately in its own vessel. Weird. Cafe au pair was wonderful so I enjoyed that, but with so many choices to have brunch in Denver, I will definitely go elsewhere.

Cindy He

Very disappointed. Taste is bad and lots of flies in the restaurant. Small amount of orange juice is $4.40. It is ridiculous. The crawfish ettouffee was basically crawfish in brown gravy. Bland and lifeless. Even their hot sauce couldn’t salvage it as a viable dish.

Katelyn Koepf

Portions we're huge and food was absolutely amazing!

nikoel quarles

A must try if in denver-surrounding! Best grits. Have he cheese omelet it will not disappoint. But everything is great including their award winning bloody mary. Authentic as you can get a far from New Orleans!!

Bridget Federico

I know lots of people love this place, but I thought my food lacked seasoning, a little salt please? And our server kept forgetting things... even an entire side dish.

Michelle Stevens

Brunch here was amazing. Wish I could eat here every week, I'll be back next time I'm in town. The omelet with beignets and a mimosa was the perfect brunch!

MoJo Coleman

Food was amazing! Staff was excellent!

Elizabeth Glynn

Great food, and great service! Food came out quickly despite the packed dining room and it was delicious! Perfect blend of savory flavors with a little kick. Atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly! It reminded me of my time in New Orleans with touches of bright colors on a rustic brick wall.

Berto Rodriguez

Great staff great drinks best food

David Ruth

Delicious brunch, friendly staff, large portions, reasonable prices

Ian Scruggs

One of my very favorite brunch spots in Denver! Do the bloody Marys and the beignets! Sometimes a wait to get a table, but it is always worth the time! Get one of the fresh squeezed mimosas to pass the time by the fire pit and it's always a good time with friends!

Christian Preston

The French toast was too amazing. Had the blackened salmon as well. A little over cooked but good considering it's blackened. Sat outside. Deck was full. By choice, ended up being seated in the corner at the bar. Still good service. Will def return for that French toast.

barquero

The Hostess was grumpy and was not family friendly. We were greeted with 'can you break that stroller down?' before hello even. I asked for outdoor seating and she seemed peeved as she jotted down our names, not giving us a wait time. We waited 30 mins, no problem, it was a Sunday. Seemed slow tho. She seated 2 couples outside before us and we left. Her unfriendly vibe was overbearing. Maybe find a new gig and leave the Hostess duties to a cheerier person.

Aaron Marcotte

May be the best place for breakfast in Denver. Hands down the best Creole/Cajun food I've had here. Start with the Beignets (obviously), and for your main: the Cajun breakfast/eggs sardou/shrimp and grits are all killer.

M Cohrs

Good food, good service reasonable price

M K

The food is good, let's start there. Biscuits are humongous, but plenty of space on which to spread the homemade strawberry-rhubarb or apple butter jam (delicious). They make so many of their condiments in-house (many with labels), and even sell merchandise. Apparently there are 5 others, but this is the only one on metro Denver. The bloody mary is worth it, and can be made. Spicier easily. With their brand hot sauce (also pleasant). Eggs Eisenhower was great too!

Sintica Wilson

Would have loved to give this place 5 stars because the lunch menu Monday through Saturday is awesome but breakfast here is not worth the $40 for 2. Atmosphere is great and the staff is very friendly so I will dine here again just not on Sunday's when they don't offer lunch.

Melina Buckley

I love love love this place! Definitely my go-to brunch place to take out-of-towners and our yearly New Year’s Day brunch. I typically order the eggs Jennifer or the shrimp and grits. This is a photo of the last time I was there, and usually the grits in this plate are saffron flavored (which is amazing!!) but this time was cheese. It wasn’t bad or anything, but not 100% what I expected. The bloody Mary’s are awesome and now they have a new spicy pickle Bloody Mary that’s pretty tasty. My favorite drink, though, from here is the Cuban OJ. 10/10 would recommend and will return
