Avoid at ALL costs. Not sure which facility others dined at, but this was (mostly) an epic disaster. Three other diners were overheard talking about“... their horrible meal” and “next year let’s go anywhere else.” Service was spotty, food was cold and flavorless. Like a bad wedding dish. Finally, they disappeared with my credit card for 5 minutes. Concerning.

Loved lunch between runs on the slopes. Excellent food and drink! Our waiter Daniel recommended their special Margarita, it has vegetables in it.. it was so good I ate all the veggies in it as well!

Larkspurs location is fantastic! And our server was incredibly helpful and fun but the food at Larkspur didn’t wow me. For the price (almost $20 burger) the food was pretty mediocre. Being vegan it’s hard to find good options and the couple salads they provided were not exciting. Aside from my meal my buddy got the burger and was equally unimpressed. It was fun to grab a bite to eat right after walking off the slopes but don’t expect the prices to match the quality.

Wanted to showoff the best dining in Vail to house guests. Had already been to Sweet Basil and La Tour. Dining experience was a complete disaster including service, wine, food & management responses (lack thereof). Routine cocktails took 25 minutes but one was "missing" and took another 15 minutes to be delivered. Refills for empty cocktails and wine were non existent (it took the bar manager to find our open wine bottle). Similar delays with food service; when our server was asked why diners around our table who had been seated well after our group had already been served, she replied "would you like me to take their food and serve it to you?" Both the bar manager and the hospitality manager made frequent excuses and promised to "take care of things", which they clearly did not. When our experience was shared with the general manager via email, he noted he had shared my issues with staff and used them as a "training experience, and to give them another chance (why would we at those prices?)." A 300% markup for wines is rather exorbitant. Will never be back especially when there are so many other wonderful choices in the Valley. '

Larkspur Market worst experience in Vail ever. about 40 minutes to get 3 burgers. the market was not busy. burgers were undercooked raw not even rare frys were cold. when we showed the uncooked burgers to the staff they said there is nothing they could do since there were a couple of bites taken out of them. no apology, refused refund or future credit. I understand mistakes in the kitchen but the response was the worst ever. Avoid Larkspur Market.

I worked closely with Meredith and Shaena for our private dining event with 27 people in July of 2018. They were responsive and prompt with all communication, and I felt like they cared for our every need leading up to the dinner. The night of the event, the food surpassed my expectations and was truly excellent. It was clear that the chefs put thought and care into everything that left the kitchen, and I made a point to personally thank the kitchen staff after the main meal. The service was spot-on without being intrusive, and Shaena was on-site to ensure everything went smoothly. The patio was lovely for the cocktails and appetizers, and the dining space was cozy without being cramped. If I ever do another private dining event in Vail, they will be my first call to set it up!

Would not recommend them to host an event. They do not go out of their way at all to accommodate the customers needs and then when I tried speaking to their manager she gave me the feeling that she did not want to hear about it. I would rather feel listened too than have a discount or refund thrown at me -- If you listened to your customers complaints, you'd probably have a lot less of them. Will not use in the future or recommend to anyone I know.

We treated ourselves to a three course meal starting with the tuna crudo, followed by steak and halibut, and ended with a delicious pale’dor. A must-try for any stay in Vail!

Our waiter kindly took our order (3 Lobster + arugula+ bacon sandwiched (signature dish) plus a beef taco plate). 45 minutes later, no food had arrived; our waiter told us we would be next up. Then the manager came by, apologizing for the delay and blaming it on a malfunction of the kitchen's computer and messaging system. He offered drinks; we said no thanks; he offered to adjust our bill; NOTHING WAS TAKEN OFF THE CHECK!! We have always enjoyed Larkspur at Gold Peak as a nice slopeside lunch restaurant, but this experience has made us reconsider. They weren't even full on the day that this happened!

Treys Entrees

The 5 onion soup was good, but not as good as the lobster BLT. The onion soup was a little bland. Very fresh, and served piping hot. The lobster was VERY tender and as a whole it was worth every penny.

Meridith and the entire team at Larkspur provided the most amazing experience for my husband and I! From the first day we met on our site tour to emails after the big day, the Larkspur staff always corresponded to us with professionalism, grace and kindness. They helped to execute what was by far the best day of our lives, to date! They answered every question promptly and in detail over the course of our 7 months of planning. Our guests kept telling us how great the service was all night! The food was top notch, we had multiple guests tell us that as well! The signature cocktails were a hit! The cake was absolutely stunning and delicious! The team at the Larkspur also was able to assist with logistics from other vendors and is known by the wedding community in the area to be the best!! You will be in such good hands with the Larkspur, we highly recommend celebrating your big day with them!!
