The restaurant had a phenomenal level of service that was above and beyond anything that we expected. The atmosphere was cozy and well lit. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we were able to be seated within a extremely reasonable time. The menu had enough of a variety that we didn't feel like we were limited to our choices. I cannot stress enough how wonderful the food tasted and level of customer service provided by this restaurant. If you are visiting Vail, you need to make it a point that you stop and eat at Lancelot.

Bread was tasty and warm. Brie had a great flavor but cold in the middle. The spinach salad with the mustard vinaigrette was EXCELLENT! The special, prime rib and mashed potatoes was delicious. It was odd that the special ONLY contained mashed potatoes and prime rib. A coupla broccoli florets would have been nice. Espresso was a tad bitter. Apple strudel was nice. Waitress and servers were courteous. Cost per person did not have to be so high but wine, espressos, and dessert add up. :)

Decent looking restaurant and small bar with grouchy bartender. We shared very average calamari and then prime rib which was tasteless. Our waitress was lovely but she couldn’t make up for the average quality food and the long wait. They did refund my steak and provide a free desert which was very good .

Not having a reservation on a Friday night , finding a restaurant was difficult. After going in and out of (almost) every restaurant in the village, we were happy to just find a place where we didn't have to wait . The decor is nice/ cool , specially from outside and in the bar area. We ordered several items from the appetizer menu , few entrees and desert and wine. The overall experience was good.. Food was better than ok , but nothing great.

We want some meat and found this place. Great service. The food was great. We had the house special prime ribs and replace the bake potato with a healthier option of a side of asparagus. It was very nice the asparagus was fantastic. We also had the filet mignon, which was very nice. We paired it with two glass of cab sav. The bread was great. We also had their creme brûlée. We nice and smooth with a great presentation. Highly recommend place.

Три раза отправляли блюдо на доготовку до кондиции "well done ", но весь персонал нас убеждал, что мясо с кровью - это и есть well done...Филе миньон, которое в принципе трудно испортить, постигла та же участь, после просьбы доготовить блюдо нам принесли уголёк. Самое удивительное, что мы не услышали от администрации ресторана извинений за испорченный ужин, изгаженное настроение, потраченные нервы на попытки объяснить, что нас не устраивает. Однако нас убеждали, что повара к вечеру устали, а у нас просто неудачный день, и все это с хихиканьем и глупым выражением лица. Сервис очень далёк от американского и вообще от должного уровня. В этом ресторане работают не профессионалы.

This place is so good! We wanted crab legs and these guys were the only one open before 5 on a summer weekend. Great patio and booze selection. The crab legs were the best I've ever had! Pre cracked and super meaty! It was like eating a crab steak. We also got the prime rib sliders, which were awesome. Go here for crab legs!

Similar to most of the restaurants in vail. Limited sitting so you may be asked to wait for quite awhile. While the restaurant is famous for its prime rib (which is absolutely massive) I decided to get the linguine shrimp. It was fantastic. The bathroom however was quite unimpressive. They were out of paper towels and had a black cloth napkin ( the same one that your silverware is wrapped in) place by the sink to dry your hands. While I am sure this is not normal it did leave a bad impression on me after paying $50+ on a meal .

We skied hard in the deep powder of Vail's back bowls and came in early with no reservation and big appetites! We were seated immediately and ordered the BEST Prim Rib I have had in a very long time. We added Sautéed Mushrooms, baked potato and split the Cesar salad, which was superb! The service was excellent. We left happy and full and ready for another ski day! I will recommend this restaurant to many.

Wow! It is pretty rare to find a restaurant at any price range where everything you taste is phenomenal, but Lancelot is one of the rare exceptions. My wife had the prime rib, which they are famous for, and rightfully so. The prime rib was perfectly cook and every bite was tender. I had the trout, which was great, but just know that they present it with the skin on. Dessert was amazing as well, an apple strudel and chocolate mousse that were fantastic along with a great cup of coffee to finish the meal. Our server Ken was very attentive, without hovering. Definitely recommend trying Lancelot when you are in Vail!

Look, the food here is great. Very reasonably priced as well. If this were based on food alone wilt would be an easy 5 stars. But it's not. Our waiter was incredibly rude. She seemed upset with were our table was, that we ordered no drinks, and even our food selection. She was also very, very rude about my card being declined. had accidently handed her a just expired card. We fixed the issue very easily. I can only assume this rudeness streamed from our ages (both 21). Maybe I'm just being petty, but check my review history and you will see I rarely leave a bad review, it that says anything.

It is located near cascade creek near the center of the village. The wine list is extensive. May I suggest you dine alfresco. During a recent trip to Vail we made reservations for dinner. The veal was tender and delicious. The creme brûlée was tasty. The setting was romantic. The evening we were there they had live music. A great date night place to celebrate a special occasion. A must when visiting Vail. I highly recommend. This outstanding restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.

An icon steakhouse restaurant of Vail Village for many years, and for good reason. I've been here several times. It was first recommended by my son who was here a few years ago. Excellent food, cocktails and service. My favorite is the prime rib. Tender, juicy, flavorful, cooked perfectly. They never disappoint.
