Food was decent although a bit bland for chinese buffet. It's a serve yourself everything. One woman cleared plates promptly. It's a decent price for the money. I wish they had more variety and less oddball seafood

We read the reviews on the way over so we were forwarded. As we entered we saw "crab legs" advertised in bold letters. However one review said crab legs were not all you can eat. So we asked to see the Buffett we looked at it . Most dish's looked hot and place was clean but only about two little crab legs. We ask if they would be refilling them. She said yes but it is not all you can eat crab. Excuse me what? You advertise it all over the window, we even called and ask. We opted not to try it.

This place is pretty good I only gave it 3 stars because the sushi looked a little old. The rest of the selection was great and the price for lunch was reasonable. The booths are a little run down however, the one I sat at had duck tape over a split and the salt, pepper, and soy sauce was placed in a check tray which seemed a little tacky but the food made up for it.

They take your food off your table after they dont tell you the option for dinner which is only 4 options and they charge you 5 dollar more per person!! Save your money go somewhere else!!!

One of the worst chinese places we been to. There was barely any food on the buffet! When they did put food out, they didn't put much out. Never any sushi which is what I really wanted. The place wasn't busy at all. Maybe a handful of people in there and it was about 6pm! That should of told us something. Pick another place, this one stinks!

I love buffets so I decided to visit this location. The cashier was friendly and answered all my questions. The ambience was dull. A lot of the food had not been replaced and what was present was obviously old and played over. The workers manning the floor smiled often but none approached me for refills or asked if I needed help. Maybe that’s not in the job description however, I noticed a few on their phones and sitting when there was plenty of obvious things that could have been done. I had s few plates filled with some of this and that but nothing grabbed my attention. It was during the day and priced about $12. I definitely would have been more satisfied with a fast food dollar menu instead.

Please DO NOT EAT HERE .. so my mother came with her friend to eat here.. they had the shrimp and broccoli. While my mother was half way done with her food she FOUND A COCKROACH floating in the broth of the shrimp and broccoli. So she ask for the manager.. the server took the plate right away but it didnt cross my mothers mind to take a picture.. the manager didn't even apologize she just went towards the kitchen .. so my mother was not offered a refund nore she was apologized to for this.. she paid full price . Its absolutely disgusting.

It's my favorite Chinese place to go to! They do such a good job that i went in to tip the cooks i was so pleased. But they wouldn't hear of it lol. They're always so nice. They work hard and do a good job!

There is new ownership. Buffet wasn't fantastic, but plenty good enough with a nice variety of food. I enjoyed the building having music playing, but never feeling loud like a lot if buffet places. I would not give it a 5, but I couldn't leave a 4 1/4 stars so I gave them 5* since I couldn't think of anything that deserved taking off a full star

So yesterday my friend and I decided to go eat there because we like the food (sometimes) we walked in and I asked for separate checks and the lady told us in a rude way Why didn’t you tell me before I put it in? Well obviously because she didn’t ask!!!! I work in restaurants and OF COURSE THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CLIENT!!!! And we also always pay $12 dollars and she charged us $15 this time. You guys should put more attention who you hire!

Went here with my husband when we first moved here. NEVER AGAIN. It was about 7:30/8:00 pm. Wasn't too busy which was great but the selection of food was horrible. Most of the food was cold and gone. Along with my husband getting some of that ice cream from the ice cream machine and it was sour. Don't get me wrong we love sour but vanilla???? It is not supposed to taste sour and it left a film in our mouth. So not worth the buffet price for too way to expensive for this mess. BUT the staff was friendly.

15.04 all you can eat Chinese food. The staff are nice, and the food is good I'm a vegan and there are plenty of fruits and veggies nice salad bar. I've eaten with others that eat meat and they were happy with their food as well. The only thing I would change if it was up to me is the lighting it's dim but I'm sure that's the way they want it. I'd prefer it if it was brighter but it's obviously not that big of a deal. Good stuff

Mistake. Went here thinking "well, the reviews are mixed but the bad reviews could have been of previous management, or from whiny soccer moms; the photos look really nice!". Nope. Rull bad. That which should have been soft was hard. That which should have been crunchy was soggy. That which should have been cold was warm, that which should have been warm was cold. Really, it was almost an achievement. I didn't go there very late in the day, maybe 10 or 11 AM, and it looked like the buffet had already been near-emptied in places, which I took to suggest that the food was good. I now suspect the buffet held leftovers from the previous night. Everything was pretty awful. Only the green beans were any good. The photos are deceptive. The pretty little octopus dishes (so alluring in the photos!) was soft as biting into an overripe peach. It had gone rotten. On the plus side, the ice cream machine works great, and the girl who was checking in customers was very kind and polite. I hope she gets work somewhere that deserves her.

Like literally if I could give -0 stars I would. As soon as we walked in we had to pay. Literally asked if they had crab legs, and the front desk said “we do but we not all you can eat because you can’t just eat crab legs” - okay I get it and understand . But I kid you not I saw the crab legs and there were about 4 skinny meatless crab legs soaking in water just looking sad and cold. And then literally they had potatoes skins with a slice of cheese just slapped on the top . And the meatballs had I kid you not a slab of cheese and a pepperoni slice on top. I can’t even fathom what I just experienced. But never again. Save your time and money and go somewhere better and not crab leg stingy.

Food and service was great before this restaurant was sold to these new owners that don’t care about their customers!! Girl at front is very rude and disrespectful, and always seems to have an attitude for no reason. Food is no good now always smelly, soggy, and seems old. There was a small bug in the rice and I went to go complain, as I showed one of the chefs he laughed and told his buddy “I told you this was going to happen if we weren’t careful” I thought that was very unprofessional and rude. STAY AWAY!!

We decided to go here after receiving a pamphlet in the mail saying they were Under New Management. We showed up about an hour and a half before closing and over the course of our visit we were very disappointed in the selection. Multiple dishes were not ever refilled even though there was many families there. They don't seem to have a large selection to begin with so this was rather disappointing. At the dessert bar they were out of Hershey's Chocolate Syrup and instead of apologizing or just bringing any more out they just closed down the dessert bar before we got any dessert. We'll be sticking with the Ultimate Buffet on Powers, thank you.

The price is normal for buffets, but the quality is worse then 1 Star... honestly the only reason I gave it one is for the soda selection they have. The noodles taste old and microwaved. The meat is either warm or cold, never hot. The sauces I though that were going to enhance the flavors, turned out to be a watered down lite soy sauce with broccoli taste; what’s weird about that is I stayed away from things with broccoli. As a dinner with food allergies, i know what to stay away from, yet it seems most of the stuff here has come into contact with the fish and seafood they make. So if you have allergies, BEWARE. I love Chinese buffets and try to go to them whenever I can, yet I won’t be returning here... I can see potential in this place, only if the owners put in a bit more care into it.

Awesome deal for only $10, drink included. You do have to pay up front, which is a bit peculiar but understandable. Self-serve (even drinks), so no tip is necessary, which is awesome. Steer clear of the sushi rolls, they were pathetic. The green bean dish and the coconut chicken were superb. They even have coffee!

Some of the breaded foods were a bit dry, but overall everything was quite delicious. Their seafood offerings were fantastic, and I really enjoyed the beef and broccoli. Loved most of the sushi. Their veggie fried rice was perfect. I hated the breading on the coconut chicken, but the sauce was great. I wish the salt and pepper shrimp came with the legs and shells removed because those crunchy bits sometimes stick in my throat. Best of all, their water actually tastes like water and not like soap or minerals! Their tea was very good, too.

First of all let me start off by saying the fact that the name "Great" is in the title of this restaurant is absolutely laughable. Second of all there is no reason why a person should leave a restaurant hungry because that restaurant has nothing but garbage to offer their customers, and I say the term garbage loosely so as to not offend the local dump in Colorado Springs. I wouldn't let my dog eat there for fear that he may get food poisoning. Spending your money there would be equivalent to taking $20 balling it up and shoving it down your own throat, it'll be just as satisfying as the food and just as much of a waste of money. Taco bell has better quality food for half the price. Zero stars.

It was awful. 30 dollars for 2 people was NOT WORTH IT!! The fried rice was dry and old. The chicken was dry and bland. The crab legs had no flavor. The sushi was bland and had more rice than anything else. The soup had a thick layer of film over it. The only thing I can say was good was the sweet and sour chicken.

Barely made it through 2 plates before I started to feel sick. Food is soggy, hard, old, or cold. Nothing's fresh. The girl who there when you first walk in was on the phone and rude. Restrooms we're disgusting and smelt like rotten eggs. The ice cream was sour and tasted like rotten milk. The cooler that they keep by the desserts was filled with black mold. Skip this place.

You need to pay about $10 up front for food which is weird. You can choose your own seat. Food is okay, not great, and you get your own drinks and silverware. Server only takes your used plates, so I am unsure as to whether you are supposed to tip or not. Tl;dr Okay food, pay ~10$ before you eat.

The food was so horrible. My son who will literally eat everything said the food tasted like chemicals or really old. As we walked around, we realize that parts of the restaurant stank horribly. Needless to say, we left hungry. Will not go back and highly recommend going somewhere else... ANYWHERE else.

I read the reviews prior to eating there. I took a look at the food and thought I would give it a try. The food was very bland and not much taste. It's kind of sad because I think a family owns it and I had my own business, so I'm well aware of what it costs to run a business. The place needs to be completely renovated. It's very old and run down, the carpet is really, really dirty. The finish on the tables was all worn off with tape mending the holes in the cushions. I used the bathroom and it is just old, worn and dirty. It looks like it's never been thoroughly cleaned. The mop was outside and it was almost black, it had never been cleaned, So your moping with a dirty mop. Just a total lack of maintenance and cleaning, over a long time period. After closer inspection, the drink machines are broken and look like they've never been cleaned. At that point, I decided I want to leave, I don't want to get sick. Really sad. The owners are probably working around the clock just to make ends meet, but that doesn't excuse all of the problems. I'm pretty sure it would fail a health inspection. I hope the owners can fix it.

Walked in with a party of 7 got sat at a table that hadnt even been cleaned yet took them 10 mins to clean it the food tasted fake was given a drink that was supposed to be a mt dew but looked like water with a green tint the waiter was huffy and puffy everytime he had to bring napkins or drinks when brought to thr manager or owners attention he got irrate started yelling at me and throwing his jacket around saying then nobody should have ate anything finally gave me $10 off a bill of $124 bill and said get out and dont come back i defenitly say never go there u will be higly dissapoionted and google is making me give them a star to be able to review even though they dont deserve anything

Yummy!! I have eaten at many Chinese food business across the USA and hands down this one is in my top 3 favorites. You pay before you eat and the ladies at register are full of smiles and their happiness radiates off them. You will be escorted to your seats and as you go get food the waitress brings your drinks. The variety of food just blows my mind. Ranges from sushi, sweet sour chicken,beef and broccoli,crab wontons, fried chicken wings sweets and so much more food. I would need couple paragraphs to even come close to naming all the food. Even though this store is busy and full of people,there is no wait time to be seated. The staff and store are super clean and is a very welcoming environment. As you leave, the ladies thank you for coming and kindly ask you to come back again. I love everything about this business and will definitely continue going back to eat their amazing food. If possible I'd given 10 stars to this establishment.

I cannot say exactly what it is about this buffet but, there is a taste that I cannot put my finger on with their food. The noodles, and the fish have the same...not so right taste. I am very sorry but I will not be eating here again. Table was dirty and I was still finding jello on my cloths after I ate there because apparently the table edge was not clean. It's a shame because there was a TON of variety, but my taste buds did not really like the experience. General Tso Chicken is why they get 2 stars as it was AMAZING....

If you're looking to enjoy Chinese food, THIS IS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO EAT. The food was gross, half of it had a garbage like tinge/taste. For a $10 buffet, you'd be getting ripped off to pay $5, you're better eating "healthy food" like McDonald's than here. The tables are peeling and dingy, the walls are sticky, greyed, and gross. The staff are rude, and watch customers like a prison. And there are tons of areas where they keep a dirty dish cart out or used table "cleaning water" that just reek of mildew and rot. The smell is so bad, it ruins any good food you may find, which is virtually nothing. This restaurant recently bragged new ownership...well, the new owners haven't made any good changes either.

Restaurant was an absolute mess. There was a human hair cooked into my eggroll. The staff started breakdown while still having patrons in the restaurant. Food is usually good. It's all about timing with this place because if you go at a certain time like 7:30pm the food will be bad and almost everything will be gone. I always found that going before or after 12 is a good time lunch wise or even at 4pm for dinner. They don't always replace the food right as it's gone it's more so done at certain times when they place fresh food. I've gone to this restaurant since I was 7yrs old and even with the bad reviews it's my favorite place. I would give five start but that would be a lie considering it's not perfect and does have its flaws.

If I could give it no stars I would! We got here at 730 and there wasn’t any food on the buffet we weren’t the only people either. We asked before we ate if we could get our money back and she said we could have them make the food fresh. We asked and they would only bring one little scoop of food! It was over 80 dollars and I’m on my way to McDonalds so my poor kids can eat! Horrible customer service and even worse experience! Save your time and money don’t eat here!

Worst food ever! The majority of the food was cold, fries and macaroni and cheese super salty!! 30 dollars for 2 people... it would be a better option McDonalds 1 dollar burgers!

Tasty sushi, delicious soups. Crawfish, crab legs, shrimp and fried crab available at dinner. Lobster rolls, spring rolls, and fried wantons add a satisfying CRUNCH. The chopsticks are unusually thin and delicate, may prove problematic for the less practiced user. Best chinese buffet I had yet in Colorado. Drove 2 1/2 hours for this food, wasn't disappointed.

The food was sparse. Crab legs were not replenished. Not many customers for a payday Friday. The hot and sour soup was great, though.

Absolutely horrible. Food was cold and they did not replenish. With not very many options on the Buffett, it was extremely disappointing. Husband also stated worse chinese hes has ever had- 38 states and 7 countries. Will NEVER return. Save your money and time.

Food was flavorless, see food was to spicy and the crab legs were extremely bland w/ hardly any flavor. And there prices are outragous, they charge you for not only on how old 10 and older $12 an adult price for the plates, but then they charge you $0.98 for every year your kid is, so I got charged $148.98 for three actual adults plus my 15 year old girl my 14 uear old girl my 11 year old nephew plus kids prices were 3 and older $9.99 a plate, but also on the opinionation that girls eat more so I got charged an extra $0.50 per girl now I got 6 girls. So yeah never eating there again. Staff was rude and gave evil staires.

I can honestly say this is the first place ive been dissapointed in going to. I never leave reviews but this one deserved a bad one to help people choose another place and not waste their money. My mountain dew was watered down with a chemical taste, everything tasted generic/ fake even the ice cream tasted fake. Really the only thing i enjoyed was the red jello and a few of the chickens. I feel bad for the people who run it because it definitly looks family owned and cant really put more money into the food but at the same time they really need to do something quick before all the 1 stars puts them out of business.

Worst food ever. This used to be a good place to eat. My husband only ate a bowl of soup for the buffet price. He is not a picky eater. He lived in the Asian rim for over seven years and loves the food from there. He would not touch sushi because looked old. Won’t be going back!!!

The worst Chinese I have ever eaten. My wifes only comment was I hope we dont get sick.. the food was cold.. they charged 15 bucks for the upgraded menu.. but 1/2 of that was missing, old or only had 1 or 2 pieces left.. Springs I would not eat here stay home and cook something you would enjoy.
