This Restaurant belongs to the category of French restaurant.
Awesome food, drinks and service. We did the Sunday Jazz Brunch. Good 3 piece Jazz Combo to entertain you. Pictured is their gumbo.
The French dip, holy horseradish, that's what you should be eating if you like sandwiches. They slice their own meat for the sandwich and it shows. The fries and sides are all really good too. My coworkers had various other dishes and they all were really impressed. I waited to review until we went a few times just to be sure it was this good and it is.
Drink history & drink were amazing. Waiter was full on knowledge.. only downfall stuff shrimp had no taste of jalapenos, but the cheese was very tasty.. needed to taste jalapeno
Great service...attentive and friendly without being overbearing! My kale salad with steak was PERFECT. My lunch partner had the French dip with fries that look PERFECT, too.
It is a chic and fancy place. I would recommend getting the namesake drink, the French 75. The service is great and all other drinks are very well made as well.
Small cocktail bar but worth the wait for a table. The drinks are lovely and the snacks are delicious. Service is impeccable.
Amazing staff, amazing food and a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend setting up a reservation and stopping in for dinner. The Colorado Lamb Leg was awesome!
A must stop when in NOLA
Great classic bar, excellent service, delicious cocktails. Worth the money
Had a great meal on opening night. Full disclosure: I went to school with Frank. Lobster Bisque was excellent, as was the tableside Caeser salad. I had the Lamb and my date had the Salmon, delicious :) We finished with an Apple Tart, which was awesome.
I am writing this review for their "Green Hour" (Happy Hour) as I have not eaten lunch or dinner there yet. They have a great selection of happy hour foods and drinks. Absinthe is half off (typically between $5 and 10 dollars depending on how fancy you want to go), $5 house wines, and a great $8 rotating cocktail that is typically amazing. All of their happy hour snacks are great. 3pm-6pm Monday through Friday. I definitely recommend having your own Green Hour or three.
Love Arnaud's! We had such a lovely Easter brunch and the Mardi Gras Museum is not to be missed!
Clean crisp atmosphere. Seats by the window are the best way to people watch. Salmon with burre blanc was delectable. Creme brulee was silky smooth! Will come back! Would like a better wine selection.
Ambience, cocktails, potato souffle, monogrammed napkins - everything about this place is so chic and classic. Perfect happy hour or post-dinner drinks spot. You can order entrees as well.
French 75 is a great location with charm. My only complaint is that they served their Martini's in glasses that I can only describe as child size.
First visit to the restaurant I had the escargot, lamb with potato and spinach, and some tea and everything was superb. The temp on the lamb was the only thing I could have possibly commented on but the flavor and texture override said commentary, haha. Service was great even with our large party that day and I definitely want to revisit the next time I am in town to browse more of the menu.
One of my favorite bars in the world. Friendly staff, great drinks and nice atmosphere. Arguably not as famous as Harry's American Bar in Paris . But cheaper and better drinks
Scallops were great, blackened fish was dry.
Nice and peaceful place to dine with friendly staff. The French 75 is attached to historic Arnaud’s Restaurant, founded in 1918 and located just off Bourbon Street. Once you get through the doors, you’ll feel miles away from the crass college-age drinkers and luridly colored beverages a few steps down the block. With its elegant tile floor, imposing wood backbar, and French cabaret music wafting throughout, the place is both refined and relaxed. Head bartender Chris Hannah is among the city’s best compounders of traditional drinks. (He scored the French 75 a 2017 James Beard Award for Outstanding Bar Program.) The list is built around the classics, with some subtle feints into modernity. Ask about his Bywater cocktail.
Delicious drinks before dinner at Arnaud's, which was wonderful. The wait staff was perfect, witty, attentive...just right.
The atmosphere in French 75 is eclectic and the wait staff is superb!
Excellent bar!! The drinks are to die for!!
This is a very classy bar, it's pretty quiet compare to NOLA itself, it's a nice place to get away for a bit before diving back into the party.
Love, love, love the apps and cocktails. The staff is wonderful. The restroom is past the back of house and everyone from host to back of house are a delight to talk to
Nice upscale setting with exceptionally friendly staff. Don't let the upscale setting put you off, we were dressed down and tired after a long day of sightseeing and received a very friendly welcome. Would recommend you give it a try.
Filet mignon melted in my mouth. Pom frites were "shoestring" size and very tasty. Chocolate lava cake finished my meal off nicely!
This was a wonderful Sunday brunch experience. The jazz band added a pleasant ambience to an already delightful meal. I will return here again!
Went here for dinner and had a really good time. It's attached to a cocktail bar so can be nice to have a drink before dinner. The interior is nice with a upscale feel, there is a dress code of collared shirt and closed shoes. The good was really nice, the veal and mushrooms were delicious. It can be expensive especially once you add drinks, something to just be aware of. I would definitely eat here again.
This place is SO great for lunch and Happy Hour!!!! Food is so good and the drinks arent bad either.
Beautiful, historic interior. Collared shirts required on gentlemen. Dinner prices range from vegetarian in upper 20s to steaks in mid 40s. Potatoes souffle were ridiculous. We all left beyond satisfied.
Best bartender in the city Chris Hanna has a great cocktail menu lined up including the classics. It gets a little crammed if it's busy, but everyone knows it's a group effort. The food is unparalleled and the service fantastic.
This bar is perfect in every way. The bar tenders knew what they were talking about and delivered with flying colors. The atmosphere gives a needed break from the ruckus of bourbon street. Up scale, superb service and an all around great experience! Paul couldn't have done a better job at making us feel comfortable and happy throughout the evening.
Fantastic/attentive service. The food was top quality. We had mussels and a filet mignon. Quality wine selection.
Wonderful cocktails and lovely staff!
Fantastic affordable drinks. Great service. Cozy but kinda upscale feel. Good food, too. They serve small plates. We had bacon wrapped fried oysters. Just all out delightful
Upscale bar in the French quarter. Dinner at Arnauds and a drink at this bar is a great new orleans experience.
Since the Carousel Bar was packed, we made it to this historic bar before closing time and were able to grab a seat at the bar. Cozy and classy place for a classic cocktail. The French 75 is what everyone gets but don't forget to check out their signature seasonal cocktails.
French dip was the best French dip I have ever had.
Great food and drinks, very fancy menu. Hard to navigate if you don't speak French. Servers and crew very polite and efficient.
The cafe Brulot was absolutely amazing! Service was superb! The creme brulee was the best! Our whole meal was delicious!
I love the service and the food here. The bar is not to be missed. Try the coffee brulot.
Wonderful atmosphere. Excellent food. I recommend the St Martin and substitute for Bourbon, the wife recommends the French 75 (of course).
I do not understand the 4-5 star ratings. The gumbo and warm bread were the only items we enjoyed. Both fish (different) dishes were bland. We had better creamed spinach at your average diner. We won't mention the hearing challenged waiter who practically was screaming at us the specials of the day nor his lovely long and dirty fingernails. Clearly, management is asleep at this "upscale" establishment. Don't bother looking for quality or creative cooking here. Upscale it is not! Suggest traveling outside the "tourist zone".
Delicious food
Waited to long for order.
Great food and service. Pricey, but good.
I really enjoyed this restaurant. I sat at the counter and had fun watching them prepare all three courses. I had the seared foie gras followed by the kale salad and then I had the sole mueniere. The waiter was very nice and brought everything right away. Everything was delicious. I especially liked the foie gras. It was a splurge but it was worth it!
Fair prices for a divine dining experience. The wait staff was absolutely lovely, the food was equally so. I drove from Wyoming for French food and I was not disappointed. I will absolutely be dining here again
A classy break from the chaos of Bourbon Street.
Arnaud's is a tourist destination for sure, but it is a place I would absolutely go to again. Our Captain (Linda) was fabulous and kind and patient with our questions. We had 10:45am brunch reservations and were seated immediately and left in time to get to our 1pm show at the Saenger. Definitely a must go!
Staff seemed stressed. Bathrooms were nice
Great food, steep prices.
Very good steak
It's swank, it's chic, and almost made me feel like I was in old New Orleans! Service is friendly and the live music is very entertaining. I reccomend ordering the crab cakes as I absolutely devoured them.
I've been here twice with two groups of people, and every meal has been wonderful. The French dip is amazing!
Great atmosphere and delicious dinner. Well worth checking out if you get the chance. Make sure you order their namesake cocktail the French 75. You won't be disappointed
Best personal cocktail bar in the city!
Great bar
Delicious meal, fantastic wine pairing. Heavenly experience, would go back again
We stopped in for dessert, but there is a large party going on upstairs and we were forgotten about. The dessert was good, but we're not too sure will be back
Classic interior with a great drink menu and friendly staff
The most fun I've had in a while. The French 75s don't disappoint.
Rob was great, drinks and service were impeccable, even though we came close to closing for lunch
Really nice place to stop and relax. Great wait staff nice old time jazzy feel. Great bar snacks!
Fantastic food, fantastic drink, fantastic place.
Service was professional, friendly and inviting. Cocktails were superb.
Good place for a date or 2-3 people. I would recommend it for post-diner drinks.
Nice place to eat very good food
Great drinks, good menu. Would be 5 stars except for overcooked duck.
One of the best in the French Quarter!
you should definitely go just to have a French 75. they are amazing and refreshing and fun to know you tried the "original". the atmosphere is old fashioned without being stuffy and we enjoyed our time there. We tried several options from the bar bites and they were all pretty boring, bland, and cheap tasting. We spent more there than we did elsewhere on an entire amazing brunch with a bottle of good rosé. So, go for a French 75 with a nice ambience, but I wouldn't recommend eating here.
My fiancee and I ate here for our one year anniversary. We chose to eat in the jazz bistro rather than the main dining room. The live music was very entertaining (disclaimer: we were charged $8.00 for the music in the bill), and the atmosphere was classy yet casual. The cocktails were great and potent; we each had one and that was enough for the meal. I had turtle soup and Cornish hen; my fiancee had the prix fixe menu with chicken, and we shared pecan pie for dessert. The food was excellent, and the evening was made all the better by our server Jasper.
I love here. One my favorite french restaurant in Denver.
Loved how kind and helpful the staff were! Our bartender was so helpful and gave great tips on places to go and how to get to them. The drinks and appetizers were amazing as well!
This restaurant is cozy, and the main dining area is overwhelmed by a large bar. It's an elegant atmosphere with beautiful surroundings. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. The kitchen service is prompt.
Cool upscale vibe with great cocktails and food. Staff are nice and fun to talk to.
Amazing crab cakes and croque madame
Very nice lounge/bar area with friendly staff. However I think I hyped myself up for the French 75 drink.. It was light and a little bubbly and didn't seem that special. Would be back to try the other ones!
Food was delicious and the service above excellent
Some of the best French dining in Denver. Great date spot.
Went here for Valentine's day and was an all around extremely pleasant experience.
We just came here for drinks. The three drinks we tried were nothing special. The bartenders were rude and talking about wanted to go home. We didn't feel welcomed!
Excellent food and service staff. Went to the bistro for dinner and drinks and everything was fantastic! Love the vintage style interior at the bar and low-key environment. Definitely off the main tourist drag. Recommended highly…
My boyfriend and I had an excellent meal here! Everything was delicious: the food, the drinks, and the dessert. Great atmosphere and friendly staff make it a place you could take anyone from your grandma to a first date. Check it out!
Amazing old world atmosphere in this swanky lounge. White coat servers bring you a delicious French 75 cocktail that will blow your mind
Very swanky place.
I chose this restaurant to have a romantic date and then propose to my girlfriend. We had a wonderful time in every way. The service was attentive and fun, the band was lively and charming, and the food was unforgettable. The cocktails coming from the attached French 75 bar are truly special, and are worth the trip in and of themselves. This was the perfect place for our special date, and I will never forget it. Arnaud's Jazz Bistro was everything wonderful about fine dining, but with a sense of charm and adventure. Oh, and she did say yes, for the record.
Pretty Venue Food is Average. We had dinner with another couple and each had a different dish. The best dish was probably the crab cake sandwich. One of us had the 4oz beef fillet. It was overcooked and flavorless. Certainly not rushing to come back. Shocked that this is a Bonanno restaurant. His other venues are awesome. Maybe they need a little more time to perfect things.
We only had drinks and they were great. Service is quick and friendly.
Real classy digs near Burboun Street but far from the average drunken doubachery close by. Would recommend the French 75 drink, a new Orleans classic. More upscale attire, i.e. suit coat, not required, but feels better in this upscale establishment
A bit expensive but great atmosphere with good food and decent cocktails.
MP for the lobster sandwich was $26. I recommend skipping it if you are hungry. The sandwich is mostly bread and the lobster portion can be consumed in two bites. The server checked back after serving the meal and asked, "does everything taste well?" Yeah it tastes well just not satisfying. Feels like I'm paying for the name behind the restaurant.
Upscale cool
Delicious cocktails and great service. I had dinner at the jazz bistro next door. They are very friendly
Great place for a business meeting.
we love coming here and enjoying their great food selection especially during fun happy hour times! highly recommend this place.
Have been here multiple times and have always enjoyed the food, service and drinks. Each time, either with a group or as a couple, we get hand crafted cocktails that are incredibly well made and delicious. Service is friendly and fast and always great about recommendations to pair foods with drinks.
Great lunch, food french onion soup and nice wine list
The cutest spot feels like a speak easy
Fantastic, no wonderful, service, and the food was divine.
Amaxing, old-school, southern charm.
Very nice atmosphere but getting a cold steak without a proper steak knife, not for the price we paid. Staff is good, but I would take a pass if you're a real foodie.
The best place in Denver! Delicious and friendly. We ordered filet mignon (omg, it was so juicy and tasty), quinoa salad with some sides. It was the best dinner in Denver so far!
Little cramped, but cool location and great service.
The moment you walk in this bar, it's a step up in class and a step back into a quainter time. I would definitely visit again. This is a good spot for sophisticated round of drinks with a few friends. Warm lighting and cozy feel.
Food was only ok. I had the salmon, and everything on the plate was under seasoned and fairly bland. For the prices they ask, you shouldn't feel the need to add seasoning to your food.
Great service and drinks. This is a good place to go to get away from the noise and crowds
Yes! There is a dress code my husband didn't have a collared shirt and they actually we're going to give him a jacket, seriously! We didn't order anything we drink at the bar. The bartender was fabulous and attentive.
Excellent French based cuisine. Friendly staff and modern atmosphere
I have given this place a fair shot, visiting a few times. It is a solid gimmick with blah happy hour, mediocre cocktails and bad service. All the staff seem frustrated whenever I've gone in there. I can't really put my finger on what's going on but not the place to go for a cool French experience.
Very good
The staff is nice and helpful. The food is fantastic!
Am I in a French bistro? Very good food, very good service. And bonus they have a famous mizuna lobster mac. Downtown needed this, thanks Frank. (Get the French dip for lunch)
I still daydream about the lobster bisque.
Great place and relaxing atmosphere.
Great place to grab a quality cocktail in the Quarter
Great place
Simply delicious. Best French onion soup in Denver.
Outstanding! Best Canard Cassoulet I've ever had!
Superb "small plates" selection and delicious entrees; good food for fun get togethers.
Best Sazerac of several we had in New Orleans.
The name says it...
I love the French 75 bar! I like the beverages and the atmosphere.
Meh.
We purchased our Thanksgiving dinner from French 75 and could not have been more pleased. Absolute perfection! Herb marinated rotisserie turkey, creme fraiche whipped potatoes, mac & cheese, brioche stuffing, apple cranberry preserves, goat cheese creamed spinach, turkey gravy, baguette with truffle butter and a Wednesday’s pumpkin pie. All of it was premium quality and a great value. We will be doing this again!
It will never take the place of Le Central in my heart, but this is an amazing new French restaurant in Denver. We enjoyed standard French favorites including mussels and fries, goose liver pate, steak tartare, French onion soup, and profiteroles for dessert. The cocktails were great! The steaks were cooked to perfection. I look forward to returning soon.
Great downtown eatery for French food.
Nice treat for a drink I and appetizers.
I attended a private function here upstairs. It was a very nice experience. The upstairs is a series of beautiful rooms with a lovely balcony overlooking Bourbon St. The appetizers were delicious and very elegantly presented. I did not get to experience any of the dinners or the downstairs other than walking through. I have to say it looked beautiful. The atmosphere seemed a bit stuffy. It was however a summer weekday and not very busy so it could be a very different place at other times. I would love try it again on my next visit.
Short ribs were excellent! Partner's chicken was cold, but quickly resolved appropriately. Great service.
Excellent food and drinks! Great service will be back!
Try the cafe brulot and enjoy some of the best service you'll ever have. Everything here was amazing.
We sat at the Chef's counter - amazing! Food was excellent (better onion soup than we had in Paris). Service was knowledgeable and attentive. Chefs were pretty damn good, entertaining and skilled. We will be back soon. New favorite.
A friend encouraged me to try this place out. I went there at lunch today and had one of the best Cobb salads ever!
Band was great. Food was very good. Service was slow, unorganized and not as customer friendly as one would hope. Was expensive and as such I was really suprised to find out when the bill came that every time they topped off or refilled my iced tea they charged me for another beverage. Seemed excessive when I was already paying $55 for my dinner.
Great drinks and staff!
Busy, bustling people watching place. Chris the bartender is a master at his craft. Interior design makes you feel you are in a stylish bar of the 1920s. Bar snacks pretty tasty.
Great spot to have a drink. The French75 cocktail is very good. A bit disapointed by the band. I was expecting a real jazz band. No real jazz music in the city of jazz... even if the 3 guys was playing well.
3.5 stars, really. French menu with nice selections and friendly service. Given that this is aiming to be “bistro” style food, the prices could be lower, but then again, one is paying in part for the downtown location. It cost us $20 to park for 2.5 hours at a nearby garage because though the website said “valet” there was none. Bread was not authentically French baguette, but wine selections seemed decent. Ratatouille was passable, but no eggplant? Weird. Nice Tuesday prix fixe menu for 2 ($55, total, with wine) that we didn’t try but might come back for. All in all, if you’re hankering for French food downtown, worth a try, but other options probably better if that special desire isn’t dominant for you.
You can't go wrong with such a classy place. It is a real throw-back to another era. Obviously, order a French 75 (cognac, not gin) and wear your nice black dress. Ask to go upstairs and see the Mardi Gras museum.
Wow! Definitely a place to revisit!
Great meal, but overpriced. The toffee bomb was worth it - all the table side desert options paled in comparison! The Karen's crab was the second best thing we ordered - ah-ma-zing!
This swank bar full of dark wood, tuxedos and Champagne cocktails was heavenly! The bar snacks where tasty and elegant. Don't miss the gougere of potatoes. Just perfect!
Folks this is the real deal. Try the onion soup and the short rib. You will savor every single bite. Great Service, very nice atmosphere.
Service was lacking. Fiid was good.
Had a great cocktil there... Had the arnaud's special... Was delicious and only for the hard core cocktail fans... Not a fruit juice in sight...
The food and service were amazing!
The absinthe was fun and yummy. Food and service made for a special dining experience.
Amazing happy hour. Jesse is a world class bartender
Great atmosphere in here. Not stuffy. Comfortable and calm. Great drinks. Nice chill spot.
Super food and service
We booked this place 5 months in advance as we didn't want to miss out. Such a wonderful old world experiance... fantastic food and atmosphere! And small jaz band playing from table to table.
This place is exquisite! Ample selection of wines by the glass and bottle, and their food menu is divine! Portions aren't very large, but the flavor makes up for it by a long shot. Brush up on your French before coming, not a lot of English on the menu. Great service and food, definitely will be dining multiple times.
Fantastic, a classic New Orleans cocktail bar. Chris Hannah is famous but friendly; happy to answer questions and spot on when recommending a drink. The history alone makes this place worth while, the bartenders and service keep you coming back for more.
Good classic craft cocktails, though a little stuffy. I'd recommend you negate the specialty drink menu and order a favorite of your own, with their choice of booze. Gorgeous old space and a nice change of pace from crazy Bourbon Street, just outside.
Fabulous Restaurant. Everything we ordered was perfectly prepared, beautiful presentation and delicious. The whole staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable. We all ordered different items and everyone was extremely happy with their choices. Two people in our party are gluten free and they loved their dinners too. The molten chocolate cake and creme brûlée capped off a perfect dinner.
Next! Another must visit bar Checked this one off my my list. The venue is another awesome cool building. It was open in 1914 I believe and the vibe is chill. The bar area isn't huge there's a couple of sitting areas along with the actual bar. I didn't really know what to order so I ordered my regular old fashion. I did not like it at all. There was a piece of rosemary in it????? I was a little confused but I still drank it. Another thing I didn't like was the hoovering. They kept coming around and asking if we wanted another, if we were done...... we ended up getting annoyed and leaving lol. It was a pleasant experience and I enjoyed looking at the bar but I would pass on this place next time.
The appetizer was very good (raisin and brie pastry), but the main dishes and desserts were not nearly worth the price. The worst part was the stifling heat. The creme brulee was watery but I understand the staff is still working things out. Our total bill was $115; I felt the quality and expirence should have been around $80. Overall, it was okay.
Extremely patronizing waiter. Sorry, too many other choices for those looking for good food and good service. Too bad the waiter ruined the experience.
The desert is to die for
I'm obsessed with this place! It literally made me feel like I was in that 1910s or 1920s era. From the music, the the old fashioned bar and lounge area to the staffs uniform. They were very friendly and my son was able to get a lot more info from I believe Chris was his name? who is the bar manager about their drinks and other great places to check out As for their drinks, AAAAMAZING!
Cool and ancient
A must visit for any NOLA travelers. Amazing cocktails and really cool atmosphere.
We stopped in for a night cap, the bartender(s) were rude and made fun of us. We had a great time in NoLa, but not here.
Great food! Good bartender but the host was missing. I had escargot, which was great and the lamb, which was tender, pink in the middle and had the perfect amount of sage and rosemary.
Really enjoyed this classic cocktail bar. Especially loved their custom napkins (and the drinks of course).
Entrees were good. The steak tartare was mediocre at best with rock hard crustini. The service was slow and snobby. Trying for an authentic French experience?
Great happy hour food and drinks. Wonderful service. This was our first visit but won't be our last.
Expensive but drinks are made the way they should be with premium ingredients. Will definitely go there again when visiting the Big Easy.
French 75 is an upscale bar in the French quarter with reasonable prices for the French Quarter. The waiters and waitresses are dressed up in suits and it is more of an intimate bar with fancy mixed drinks and select beers.
Classic bar with wonderful cocktails. We had a couple snacks and would heartily recommend their palmiers. Just keep in mind that this is a small space, so there may be a wait to be seated. I would definitely be interested in going back.
Nice place to eat on bourbon street
We went here for restaurant week and the food was excellent. The french onion soup had great flavor, the coq au vin dish had a delicious sauce and the brussel sprouts were crispy and delicious. The chocolate lava cake at the end was perfectly gooey and was amazing even though I was already completely stuffed. Great location for a fancy date or a celebration.
Bartender was absolutely hilarious, drinks are made with knowledge and atmosphere is incredible!! The bar and the restaurant have some of the best service I've ever been a part of!
Outstanding dining and service. I would highly recommend for a wonderful dining experience.
Great menu, but both times I've gone, the food was under-seasoned and bland. I recommend the kale salad.
Great food and great drinks. The French 75, The House Pear Brandy and the Traditional were my favorite drinks. The Tarte Flambe, and Jumbo Shrimp cocktail were amazing.
Catered corporate event. Good food. Good service.
Everything I've tried here has been outstanding.
We had a reservation for 7:45pm last night and we were not seating until 8:45pm! Many other people were standing around waiting for their reservations as well. Overbooked and underwhelmed. I would not recommend going here.
Spectacular meals and wines. Loved every course and minute of our meals. Duck was wonderful.
Good food and original cocktails to enjoy in what was a speakeasy in it's day.
Delicious traditional French cocktails in a fun and cozy setting. Animal print chairs and couches we're a perfect setting to relax after dinner. We ordered the French 75, of course. But I also enjoyed their blackberry cobbler cocktail. A spring of fresh sage gave a perfect herbal whiff before each sip of blackberry.
Great ambience and french fries. Very knowledgable and friendly bartenders!
French 75 is so great! I love that it's different from the usual Denver scene and the staff could honestly not be better. My experience with french cuisine is pretty limited but they always are kind and patient with helping me to find and order something I will enjoy. The drinks are fun, expertly prepared and all kinds of yummy. I would highly recommend this spot for everything from casual drinks to a fancy night out.
Love N.O
Best restaurant I've ever been to in my life. Delicious food, great service, and great environment. Right when we walked in, we were greeted by the restaurant's manager named Laura who was very friendly. The server and Laura both provided us with food recommendations and my girlfriend and I could not have been more happy with what we ordered. I highly recommend going to this restaurant. Best place in Denver!
Great ambiance & great drinks ! The French 75 drink is a. Must try , also look for th museum on the top of the restaurant that depicts the various costumes of madigras from a long time before
Great bar adjacent to a great restaurant
Not worth the hype or money. Very disappointed with the food. Stars for atmosphere and staff.
Super place to eat, excellent food and drinks. If you're in the French quarter you should check it out.
The Bloom cocktail is by far my favorite, but I have no doubt that the staff would tastefully exceed expectations for any concoction. Absolutely wonderful place!
Good authentic French food served in a modern stylish setting. The ratatouille was truly wonderful. The spice combinations in the sauce were explosive and complex. The beet salad was great. The shoe string this French fries were seasoned well, and very good. The mussels were also good, although served a bit on the like warm side. The temperature of the mussels and the uncomfortable booth (tall, vertical, and very stiff) are the only reasons that this is a four star review. Also, the house white was crisp, flavorful, and just slightly citrus. It paired perfectly with seafood and a light salad. I highly recommend it before you try the more expensive glasses on the menu.
Very nice venue. Good food and drink. Very friendly staff.
Trendy cocktails with pretty good food. Elegant and stylish bar and dining room.
This was my second time in a week. Food and service are spectacular. Try the hot chocolate dessert!
If there is one place I could give 6 stars to, it might be French 75. It is my wife and my favorite bar in New Orleans, and maybe one of our favorite bars we've ever been to. The place has a lot of history and the look and feel of the bar are great. Obviously, the cocktails are fantastic, but come here for the routinely best bartenders in town. The bar is run by a legend of the cocktail world, Chris Hannah. If you can, sit at the bar and let him help you explore some great cocktails and great history. French 75 is very crowded on weekend evenings and it's a pretty tiny place, so plan accordingly.
The food was good, but pricey for the serving sizes. The Creole fashioned was a good play on the cocktail, and the oysters were very good.
We came last night for valentines, had a reservation for 7:30, and knowing how busy Valentine’s Day is we waited for an extra 35 minutes to be seated; but the lovely host Laura was running around taking care of people as fast as she could. I was a host for 3 years and I can say she was so pleasant and tried to seat as fast as she could; and she did a great job of getting through a crowd. Lovely food, a great waitress, and all in all a great evening! I was appalled at how rude other entitled patrons were to Laura, and she just smiled and worked through it! Very impressed! We will for sure be back again and again! Wonderful staff!
Amazing food very fancy with good sizes. Very good service and great views of the cooking!
Cozy bar with great cocktails.
Yummy oysters, fish, drinks and excellent service! Part of Arnaud's block on Bienville St.
Quintessential New Orleans bar with excellent service and drinks.
Often bustling and sometimes quiet, Arnaud's French 75 Bar is always perfect. Small and intimate... it's a nice reprieve from the neon lights just around the corner. It's a place you want to be a regular.
Although we’ve had excellent meals there in the past, tonight was the worst. The cocktail and app were delicious, but our meals were extremely inferior. I had the lamb which was full of fat and grizzly, to the point that they gave me an extra slice. Mike’s filet was select at best, also undercooked and tough! The future will be cocktails only, if at all!!!!!
Denver needed a top notch French restaurant, coming up on a yr anniversary, they have filled the gap with one of the best onion soups I've ever had and melt in your mouth pock chops.
Reasonably priced drinks and some of the best cocktails in New Orleans in a smaller, quaint, upscale venue! There is a small-roomed museum upstairs too! Definitely try the French 75 but stay for the other cocktails!
Bottomless Moet Summer promotion is excellent.
Classic French in the heart of downtown. Don't miss the "Green Hour". Their version of happy hour. Amazing deals and perfect dishes.
Amazing cocktail bar in the heart of the French Quarter.
Juan The food was great. Our waiter too.
Ate here for Denver Restaurant week and it was absolutely delicious! I will be returning soon.
Amazing!! Everything was wonderful, the drinks, the service, the food!! Absolutely incredible. Don't pass up an opportunity to go here, you will not be disappointed! Sit in the bar, it's beautiful and the bar staff was amazing!
Pleasant, layed-back good food, cocktails and service. Up to standards, we recommend that you make it part of you Denver visit.
Wonderful lunch with my daughter. Great mussels!
An amazing experience. Loved the food
Great food, great service. Quick before the theater without even asking!
Pretty good!deserved to get five stars!
Amazing Restaurant!
Outstanding food and service
Excellent bartender. Fantastic classic cocktails as well as a few, fun and inventive creations!
What can you say about a bar named for the most famous French Artillery piece of WWI? Great service, great drinks. ,
Great place, great food
Good food, good service, good atmosphere. Excellent wine list. Would definitely recommend.
amazing bananas foster made in front of you at your table! great live jazz music and atmosphere.
Okay, it's a tour guide stop. It's still a nice little bar. Great ambiance., super service, and a perfect lead in to dinner at Arnauds
We didn't realize this was another Bonanno restaurant when we made reservations. The man really knows how to create a wonderful dining experience and this is no exception. There is a great cross section of French cuisine and everything was delicious, and the service was top notch as always. The blackened fish sandwich and Coq Aux Vin were great, top notch wine selection (Côtes du Rhine and Châteauneuf du pape both present). Planning a trip back for the ratatouille.
Great Wedding Reception Venue
Best French onion soup I’ve ever had in my life and I have had French onion soup in France.
Favorite bar in the French Quarter. Not far from Bourbon Street but feels like a different world. Old school bar that serves the best (hands down) version of their own French 75 cocktail. Other bars have their versions. Don't bother. Just come and get one here. Never seems crazy busy (you can usually get a seat at the bar within a few minutes) and the typical clientele are a couple of notches above the usual Bourbon Street crowd. That said, it's not stuffy either. Very relaxed in fact, and the staff, although usually busy, are friendly, smart and attentive. If you're looking for a quality cocktail, far from the madding crowd, you owe this place a visit.
Excellent cocktails!
The grilled salmon is simply amazing!
Visited for Denver Restaurant Week. Wonderful wine pairings. Delicous cocktails (I recommend the absinthe and the Garden.) Plus happy hour is half priced wine and absinthe, plus snacks. Service was fantastic too.
Our favorite bar in America
Terrific Shrimp Remeloude
Very disappointing dinner. We ordered 3 filet mignons and they arrived COLD, literally, to the touch! The cold pat of butter on top didn't even begin to melt. When we told the manager our steaks were cold, he just walked away. The Caesar salad had so much garlic, it burned your throat. Dessert pastry was tough. I think this is just a sandwich and drinks place.
great
Great vibe but wont open till 5pm though.
I tried French 75 for happy hour with a friend and it was hands down amazing. We tried the Mussels, Nicoise Salad, and pate. All I can say is Mmmmmm Good! Wow! Everything is very reasonably priced. I love the painting on the wall when you walk in. Great atmosphere and vibe. I will be returning, frequently!
We have been here multiple times...food and service is always perfect. Tonight however..we decided to come for some F75’s.....the waitress with a short bleached blonde bob....awful. Lisa would be beyond upset.
Great food and service
This place was the sort of stuffy expensive weird place I never eat but it was a vacation and they have banana fosters sooooo...The staff was lovely, truly very sweet. We were seated in a timely fashion, the server didn’t kick me out when I pointed out how creepy the huge oil paintings of the owners were, the woman who made the aforementioned banana foster was very affable. I mean it was all you could want in a stuffy expensive old southern restaurant I guess. I probably wouldn’t go back, unless you know, bananas on Fire! But seriously I’d tacky rich white people oil paintings staring at you while you eat salads are your thing then this is your place.
Wonderful menu, affable and attentive staff. It's a good spot to impress without being pretentious.
I'll keep them at 5-stars even though there was a mishap on my initial order. They were very apologetic and comped my whole meal. It pays to be patient and mellow and not cause a scene. I was there almost two hours because of the mishap. The duck was tender and very tasty and the creme brulee was very good.
This is the best worked bar I have ever been at. The bar tenders are the best and the ambiance is perfect.
Perfect little place to grab a fancy dinner before a show, although the pace of service was pretty relaxed. I expect this from a fancy place, so I wasn't put off but if you have somewhere to be make sure you plan accordingly or let the server know. I had a delicious grilled salmon fillet, and it was very tasty, although if I had to nitpick I would say that the fish was maybe a little overdone by the time the other entrees were ready. Timing is a tricky thing. We could see the chefs in the kitchen practicing their mushroom fluting technique and I thought that was really cool, because I am a did nerd.
Meal was perfectly fine, and the service quite good, but the concept is a bit undefined: some atmosphere suggest French bistro, but other elements, prices, wine prices suggest French fine dining. And the food was only on par with the former.
One of the best cocktail bars this side of the mason-dixon line. Must visit.
I was very impressed with the food and excellent service. They even had very good Champagne by the glass. The Short Ribs were very good and popular with my group.
The food was fabulous and the service was on point. Super friendly and informative. My last drink was supposed to be comp'd due to an issue at the bar, but it wasn't and I didn't notice on the bill because we had to rush out. But, we'll be back for the food!
Service can be slow...all the food is delicious...highly recommend French dip, crab cake, French onion soup. So freaking good!
One of our favorite spots to visit when we are in the city!
Heavenly. Delicious. Fabulous service.
Very good
Incredible old world Paris decor and drinks matching in quality. Stellar place for a cocktail
Cozy and charming bar in the Arnaud’s with great drinks and good service. Definitely a must visit when in New Orleans.
