Flatirons serves tasty American style food. Good local Colorado beers are on tap. I had the blue cheese burger and I recommend it. The service staff is friendly and are quick to help you. Oh, and the Mac and cheese is awesome.

Good job by the wait staff, they hustled and were attentive and got it done. The food was hideous, so low rate. At least when you go to Village Inn you know what you're getting and for what price. This food was so overpriced and so bad to eat. I had grilled chicken ( a 4 oz. serving for $16 ) and my girlfriend had a "half" rack of ribs that made the McRib look great by comparison. It really was some bad bar food.

Flatirons is a great place to go for a good meal on the southern part of the springs. They have a wide ranging menu that will satisfy almost all appetites. They also have a great beer menu with several craft beer choices. I enjoyed their very own golden ale. They have a lounge and a bar so you can enjoy your meal however you would like. They are only a few blocks away from the World arena in one direction and the Broadmoor in the other so if you are planning a visit to either location (or the surrounding attractions) this would be a great place to stop off at and grab a bite to eat.

Wait staff was awesome. Not a large selection of food, odd flavors on some dishes. Cumin in the coleslaw was not something I would pair, and the tartar sauce was not good at all. Too much vinegar. I see how others may like the flavor tho. Liked the environment and good drinks!

Sadie was an excellent waitress with just the right amount of hospitality where it didn't feel fake but welcoming. It has a smaller menu which I think allows them to concentrate more on quality rather than quantity. The only reason it got a four is because my preference isn't that style of food. Nothing they can really do about that but if a group wanted to go again I would gladly go for the service most of all.

Great food, great service, outstanding bartenders. They always have the sports that you want to see on usually 2 different TVs at any given time. Regulars are nice people too. Good for family, drinks with friends and a nice alternative to having to go downtown and deal with craziness. Very quaint in day and relaxed, vibrant at night. Beautiful personality and beautifuk bartenders for later shifts :)

It's OK. Typical American fare with average local service. Not positioned near anything, not an amazing view, but it's food. I would drop half a star because it really doesn't deserve 4, but there is no option but to round up.

Food was just ok, waiter was fair, best part of entire meal was looking out the window to their outdoor patio where dogs are allowed. We have dogs and liked that we could bring ours on a future visit and enjoy dining with our pups. Nice location just wish the food had been better. I ordered the Cesar salad with chicken and avocado, it was a decent salad, best was the fried ranch poblano peppers that topped the salad!

The limited menu is alright, for uninspired bar fare. The one real treat they had, the freshly made in-house potato chips with onion dip is being taken off the menu. If you are close by and want a locally owned business like an Applebee's, this place is a good choice. Don't make a special trip though, nothing noteworthy to see here.

Paid 61.00 for a steak , augratin potatoes , mac and cheese and desert. Delivered by grub hub. Horrible food. Steak was like shoe leather. The potatoes were so hard I could pick them up in I ne hard piece ! Dont order here. Not worth it.

I love this place to eat. Good food from salads, to salmon, to burgers, to steaks. Never had their pizza to let you know. I can make a meal from their appetizers esp the beef tips and brie. They have a daily special, and happy hours. Sports on tv in the bar area. A patio for dining outside, with a fire pit if chilly in the evening. If you like desserts, come with someone to share one order of the chocolate cake. Plenty of parking. Nice wait staff and bartenders. For regulars, there is an incentive card for rewards towards dining. I love their corned beef on StPatsDay!

While there are limited vegetarian options (no veggie burgers), their salads are impressive. I had the Cougar Classic, which the staff were more than happy to alter when asked (half chicken & dressing on the side). I was also with a very large group of 30+ people, which the waitress took in stride. We had scattered arrival times with offset ordering times, and the staff still managed to get orders out quickly.

I really loved the fact that my waiter was happy to tell me what was good!!. Not just what sells the most. My salad was fresh and well prepared, and everything arrived so quickly (perfect since we were starving). Nice staff and great service. after eating a bunch of flavorless food at the overrated broadmoor for the weekend this was a refreshing find for us. Nothing fancy just good food for a good price. Plus they had almost all the football games on in the bar area where we sat. Our waitress was really nice and did a good job. I'd definitely come back if we are ever in Colorado springs again.

The service was wonderful, but the food was very mediocre. The fries were bland, the hamburger was very dry and all parts of the hamburger were visibly overcooked, becoming somewhat tasteless. My wife tried the pizza and it seemed to be cooked nicely but it had a ton of a spice that is uncommon for pizza, which overpowered it for my taste. The menu itself is a little confusing due to a lack of theme and I would encourage them to focus on something. Im not sure if it is a pizza place, a steakhouse, a burger place, or what. I wouldn't come back.

I ordered my burger med rare, it was so rare it was cold. When I asked for it to be heated further, it returned mildly warmer but still quite rare. I cut it in half and showed the server. I was met with "what do you think med rare looks like?' I simply said I would not be able to eat that and to take it away and off my bill. After that, I could hear intense fighting in the kitchen, including numerous swears and lots of crashing and banging (throwing things?). It was actually frightening. I would NEVER return. Couldn't tip because I wasn't able to eat my food (and never offered other options. Simply awful experience.

Not a good sign when the place is 1/2 full on a Friday evening and a majority of the customers are in excess of 70 years old. My ribeye steak was mostly fat and was tough to chew despite being labelled as "choice" grade in the menu. The restaurant itself will ultimately fail if all it wants to be is Applebees.

When I learned that Flatiron's was offering a classic Thanksgiving dinner for under $30 excluding, tax, tip and wine, I made reservations. I like to sit in the bar area where there is better service but compromised with friends who preferred the main dining area. Service was adequate but not stellar considering that we were dining at a slower ( early afternoon) time.. There were choices of lobster bisque or a house salad to start, choice f roasted turkey with all of the usual trimmings ( homemade!) or prime rib. All was presented on a large square dinner plate. The portions were just right and so was everything else. The dessert options include pumpkin pie or NY cheesecake with berries. Wine selection was good as well. All in all, I will return on 2019! I have told many others! Thank you Flatiron's for a wonderful holiday meal!

Ford makes this place what it is! I didn't care for this place when it was run by the previous manager, however I go almost weekly - and mostly to visit with Ford. He's make the atmosphere fun, and I always have a good time, food is pretty wonderful too.

The Green Chili Tastes like the Dead Sea there was so much salt. The waiter was to busy her phone to serve anyone. And to top everything off it looks like there was a couple of shady characters out back doing drug deals. I don’t order Flatiron’s very often. Once a month at best and this is why... the last 3 times I ordered have all been To-Go orders and I’m told “10-15 minutes” on the phone when I order. The last 3 times I have waited 45-60 minutes for my order. That’s ridiculous for a To-Go order. Secondly as you see in the picture, this is what you get when you order “no spinach” in your Mac n cheese. You get a pile of spinach because the kitchen not only takes forever, but they don’t pay attention to the order. The food is tasty otherwise. 2 stars because the kitchen sucks every single time.

Not a good sign when the place is 1/2 full on a Friday evening and a majority of the customers are in excess of 70 years old. My ribeye steak was mostly fat and was tough to chew despite being labelled as "choice" grade in the menu. The restaurant itself will ultimately fail if all it wants to be is Applebees.

I asked for medium well steak, they gave me a rare steak, which is bad for me since I'm pregnant. They gave us extra plates for or shared appetizer. Our waitress did not pay attention to our request, I think she was on weed. Our for took 30 minutes, then it was cold. We gave it one star because they had great parking. I wouldn't go back here if they offered a free meal!

Used to be one of my favorite places to eat, but over the past 6-12 months their portion sizes have shrunk DRAMATICALLY. My go-to was the Tortellini Carbonara, and when I ordered it today, I recieved about half of what they used to serve, for the same $14. While the food is good, it just isn't worth the money for the size of many of the portions. When I asked the manager about it, they agreed to take 10% off my bill (about $2.30) so I think I'll be finding another place to eat now.
