Took the wife for a Birthday/Anniversary celebration. Booked the reservation via Open Table and placed a request for a nice table for our special occasion. When we arrived, they had a nice table ready for us and a personalized note on our menus! As expected, the service was outstanding, and the dining experience was one to remember! Fun drinks and great food.
Great up market restaurant. Great views overlooking Boulder ( on a good day you can see for miles). The food was exceptional, great wine. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. If you are looking for an up market restaurant, this is the place to go to.
Gorgeous views, staff is fantastic!
Food was awesome as usual. Delightful staff. I dislike the new menu. I was forced to order too much food that I couldn't eat. They need an option for lighter eaters.
The Flagstaff experience starts in the parking lot. Then, once in the restaurant, the care and attention-to-detail of our server, the sommelier and the chef was simply extraordinary for every part of the experience. After that amazing build up of attention and care we had the finest meal of all time. We went with the chef's choice and it was an ever increasing "this is even better than the last course". This is THE place to go in Colorado for your special occasion.
I was the photographer for an intimate wedding at the Flagstaff House and I couldn't recommend it more to other couples looking to have an intimate wedding venue in Boulder, Colorado. The staff was amazing, the event coordinator was awesome and the view and location are ones you cannot bet!
AMAZING experience. I generally enjoy a chili dog at a football game but I will definitely be back. Our server, Hanna was so sweet and funny. She made the entire experience a joy.
If I had one 1 restaurant I could go for the rest of my life, this would be it...Flagstaff is the best restaurant in Colorado, if not the whole US. The scenery is gorgeous, food was perfect, the wine recommendation is now my favorite wine. This place is just wow, a place you have to go at least once in your life. Any review lower than 5 stars is almost laughable. Did not have a single negative thing to say.
A very nice place to dine. The food is well thought out and delicious, and the wine pairings are excellent. The service is top-notch. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a fine-dining experience. Every dish from the oysters and tartare to the wagyu beef is well thought-out and presented. The view is stunning. You do have to drive along a winding road to get there and back, so make extra sure to have a designated driver.
Been eating here for decades on special occasions. Cannot give a rating high enough. This place competes easily with the finest places to dine on the planet. Wonderful family ownership through generations still persists to this day. This is a Boulder landmark. A place of amazing peace, incredible food, and an amazing view. Thank you to all at the flagstaff house.
I hosted my son's rehearsal dinner for 82 people at the Flagstaff. It was beyond my wildest dreams in how successful the evening was. Everything was perfect - the view and ambiance awed the guests. The food was incredibly delicious and the service was outstanding. I can't believe how well they handled our large group. I received compliment after compliment from the people who attended. In addition to the evening itself being extraordinary, Annie was a delight with whom to work while I was planning the event. She was responsive and attentive and made sure every detail was perfect. Thank you, thank you!
We had a reservation at 7:30pm on a Tuesday. The place was super empty, but they only gave us two seating options. One was the back of the seating area near no windows, the other was in the corner of the room with a tiny amount of window room but by the bar and entrance. The main reason this was annoying was because of how empty the place was. Literally only 4 other groups were there. There were also plenty of other seating options with better views that they didn't open up for guests. The main draw of this restaurant is the view, and we didn't really have much of one. They also didn't offer an ala carte menu which they imply they have on their website. You have to get at least three courses. The food and staff were fine, exactly what you'd expect for a place like this. Bottom line, this is a tourist trap restaurant. Don't expect the great views they promise on their website even on non-busy nights. Just not worth min. $100/person for that experience. I'd recommend instead packing a picnic and parking at one of the many vista points. Better view, much cheaper, and more intimate.
Food was a bit disappointing; lukewarm, not very flavourful. Service was a bit pompous, and they made several mistakes (e.g. giving wrong people dishes). Nice views and generally pleasant experience overall. But for the price ($180 a head) you'd expect better.
Great views! A must with that special someone!
Beautiful views over Boulder even on a snowy, winters eve! Food and service are simply splendid!
american food and the feeling here is excellent. One of the best spots of its kind in the area.
This restaurant was truly an experience! They brought out a large array of different dishes, course after course, plenty of chef specials (thank you to the chef) and excellent desserts. The entire experience overall was around 3 hours, but we had a very large group as we came here for a work dinner. The a la carte selection was definitely very interesting but we opted for the 3 course meal. The food was all very delicious, but all things considered there was an element missing for me. Not to say that this anything other than an excellent establishment, I think I was just missing the 'wow' factor, personally. The service was very attentive and offered us palate cleansers and other meal enhancements throughout the night. Definitely a great stop to make for an evening in Boulder!
What you would expect. Amazing, elegant fine dining. Food = perfection.
Fun place for my 30th birthday
Nice View Good Food Parking is poor
Every aspect of our visit was fantastic. Every morsel of the food was delicious and the service was incomparable. This is THE place to go for a special dinner.
My husband and I had dinner here after getting married just two weeks ago. I cannot recommend it enough. The food and service were beyond phenomenal. The staff even had a special dessert to congratulate us on our marriage. Enjoying a wonderful meal in my wedding gown with my husband is a memory I will always treasure. Thank you for such a magical night!
An elegant feel shown through the outstanding food and service quality. No frills just understated excellence in every way with a gorgeous view overlooking Boulder. By far one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a tasteful environment. Lacking in pretension, relatively speaking to many other places of its caliber, and it’s the reason why I’ll keep coming back
Always a pleasure coming here. I appreciate the entire staff and all they do to always make it a great experience!
Fantastic service and even better food! Such a unique and special experience.
Delicious and attentive in a way not often seen anymore. Best in class. And the view!!!
High rated restaurant with a great panoramic view. Warning: there is a dress code...
american food and the setting here is great. Great place to meet and catch up with friends. Definitely worth a return trip. The place has a good feel to it.
We had a fabulous time. The wait staff was excellant and friendly. The food was wonderful. And the scenary just topped off the evening. You definitely have to go. As our friends that we went with David "a meal to remember"
Absolutely beautiful scenery on the side of the mountain, great food, courteous staff.
Delicious food with a magnificent Boulder view for an special occasion.
I brought my wife here to celebrate Valentine's day. By far, best decision I could have made. The service was incredible, and the food was perfect. They have a very romantic atmosphere and the view of the Denver metro area at night is awe inspiring. I would like to thank the staff here for contributing to a perfect evening, you guys are amazing.
Of course it was fantastic! Top notch service. Delicious food and beautiful views. It's the little extras they continually add throughout the experience that really makes it special. Who could ask for anything more?!
We were able to get a reservation, sadly we couldn't sit outside because of rain, but the staff was able to get us a table at the window :-). A shout out to our Bartender Andre, who is able to make me a gin drink with "summer thyme" flair. The food was, as promised, very lovely, creative and delightfully delivered by an excellent staff. The only thing I would have asked for differently would have been to have additional options besides the set menus.
Good food, great place to celebrate

Good food, great place to celebrate
Truly fine dining. It is expensive, but worth it for a very special occasion.
Amazing fine dinning experience
Quiet, elegant, great waitstaff, wonderful food presentation and flavor, fabulous views of Boulder and mountains. Very expensive but worth it for special occasions. A great old style place to enjoy a lovely evening.
What a great experience. My wife and I were visiting Boulder and it was our anniversary. The food, view and service were fantastic. I can't say enough good things about it. A lot of little extras that made our night so so enjoyable. Elizabeth was our head server and was very engaging making sure we were having a good time. I can't wait to visit Boulder again. We will definitely be dining there again.
An absolutely amazing restaurant with an amazing view of Boulder.
Took my dad here for his seventieth birthday. It was truly a wonderful evening. The food was delicious. The company was wonderful. The service was excellent
View was definately worth it. Dont come hungry portions are small.
Great view and atmosphere. Food average. Service very friendly.
The food was definitely not worth the price and not a great selection either. Wait staff was nice but service very slow. To sum it up a very over rated over priced experience
3 star food with a 5 star view and 5 star service. I rated them 3 stars for food because the food I ate at the price I paid should have been on par with a high end steak or seafood restaurant. It was not. It was just OK, and I expected more.
Among the top 3 best restaurants I've been to around the globe. Excellent service, extensive drink list, relaxing environment, and the most flavorful food I've eaten in the U.S. You'll need to make a reservation and dress at least business casual. Also, there is valet parking on site.
This was a quality restaurant with excellent food in a unique location. I will say that we made our reservation for a special occasion weeks in advance and requested a table next to a window, but that request was not honored. Considering that everyone in the restaurant was sitting next to the window except one other table, I found it odd that our request was not honored. In fact, we were the farthest table in the restaurant from any window. This was disappointing. Both my husband and I each had the three course meal and every course of mine was excellent. I will say that my husband had a bad first course and that his Italian appetizer tasted burnt and I tried it and it was awful. That was the only miscue with the food. They are great at providing complimentary food throughout the meal, so tiny appetizers, a bread sampling, and tiny desserts at the end, and take-home bread to boot. The service was fine but overall, the meal was agonizingly slow. I understand and enjoy stretching time to enjoy a fine meal but there were incredibly long periods of time where we had no food on the table. It took a very long time for them to take our order at the beginning. Obviously, the location is quite unique and the view at night is pretty, but the ambiance is dull and quiet, so it left something to be desired. All in all, I will say it was an excellent meal with polite service at a highly unique location, but it was not the best meal of my life. Next time, we will go to an upscale Boulder restaurant with more life and energy in the center of the city.
Try before you die! I was last here 35 years ago, finally had a chance to return with my wife. She has several food sensitivities which I advised upon reserving a table and staff were well informed throughout and very careful to check every step of the way. I'm pushing 60 and find waaaay to many restaurants serve gluttonous sized portions leaving me feel stuffed and bloated without room to 'enjoy' a dessert. However Flagstaff just nailed all the portions sizes and after dessert we left feeling satisfied, not over fed. If you're really wanting something special, try the S'More dessert - it's more than a dessert, it's a show which will leave your SO wide eyed and very happy - just have your video running when they serve it. 35 years ago I visited Boulder the first time. My biggest memory was the Flagstaff. I'm glad 35 years later it is still a very special experience
Wow! Great good, fantastic service and a view to die for! Well worth a special occasion do dinner.
Great experience. Gorgeous food, precise staff, amazing views. All it's cracked up to be!
The views are some of the best in Boulder! The ambiance was exceptional, the staff were welcoming, the food was wonderful. The portions were small, but so good. Because there are several courses, we did not leave hungry!
Impeccable service... Always
Exceptional service, food, and views. Expensive
Great place! Excellent staff! Everything except the Nova Scotia Halibut (was a tad salty for my taste) was outstanding.
Easily one of the best dinner experiences I've ever had. I'll definitely be back once my bank account recovers.
Wonderful service and food. Very expensive, so plan ahead.
Warning for average people: this place is very fancy and expensive!!! The menu options are either 3 course or 5 course.
Views are breath taking. Food fell short. Over cooked, and small portions. Coffee was warm at best. My dessert was chosen for me and consisted of one Strawberry sliced very thin and splayed open. Staff immediately collected dishes once you had set your fork down. Quite imposing. Not worth the money.
Disappointed after visiting on Mother's Day. Staff was amazing and of course view was spectacular. 30 years since my last visit as I graduated from CU. Bottom line is for $200 for 2 people (excluding alcohol) for brunch... tiny portions of food served and they couldn't even get my order right. My sister ate her meal while mine had to be sent back because I'd ordered the eggs hard and the kitchen sent out completely runny eggs. I ended up eating more bread then anything as I waited for them to fix my eggs benedict. I paid an extra $24 for lobster and I kid you not, I received 3 bites of lobster. For almost $100/person, getting an order right is imperative and for goodness sake give us enough food to justify that price! This place has become too crowded, commercial and quality/quantity of food is sorely lacking. Felt like I was in a tourist trap!! Living in Cherry Creek with a multitude of fine dining restaurants to visit, I won't be back to FH. Again, can't beat the view but just drive up the mountain yourself and bring a picnic.
What a superlative place to eat and celebrate! We had a great time with the kids (grown) celebrating the payoff of student loans! The entire staff was sooo friendly and helpful with lots and lots of surprises throughout the evening! We never felt rushed! Truly fun!
Great place for a good dining
The food was ok but the experience was very good.
WWe celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary, and we had wonderdul service and wondeeful food.
A true fine dining experience. Amazing view, amazing food, great setting. Absolutely wonderful experience, from appetizer to dessert.
Ambience and views were great, and the waitstaff is professional, friendly, and engaging. Food is sub-par, about half of our party received our dishes cold and it generally wasn't stellar-tasting. Also we waited maybe a little over an hour in between the first course and the main course. Not something I expect nor welcome with their kind of pricing.
Unfortunately, the quality of the food undermined the experience, to a much larger degree than expected. We’ve been going to the restaurant every few years for special events, and it’s been obvious for many years already that the food is no longer 5-star. It didn’t usually matter, as the service and the views compensated and made the overall experience enjoyable. So we certainly weren’t expecting a gourmet experience. However, even going in with our expectations well-managed, we were surprised how far the food experience had fallen. The menu itself looks interesting with a lot of intriguing ingredients, but those ingredients usually added nothing to the dish, and most dishes are bland or mono-flavor. The mono-flavor was a problem throughout the menu – we were a party of 7 and had many dishes, and complaints of “overwhelming smokey flavor” or “overwhelming bacon flavor” were common across all 3 courses (such as the smoked duck, butternut squash soup, scallops and filet mignon). It was a nice touch (initially) to get the amuse bouches and intermezzo throughout the meal, but the first “chef’s welcome” included two items of which one was simply terrible (a fish cream on a piece of bread). Shockingly bad. The other ones included a sorbet (a classic, enjoyable intermezzo - but why would you put it on a phyllo pastry?), and then before dessert there was a not-so-small ginger panna cotta (good, but certainly not great, and too large before the dessert). Which brings me to the desserts. Instead of a nice sweet to finish the meal, they were overwhelmingly large (the mediocre crème brûlée could have fed 3 people), and the spiced pumpkin custard with meringue was one of the most sickeningly sweet desserts any of us had ever eaten (or tried to eat). The Anjou pear was also a disappointment as the pear itself was hard to taste, and it was really just a small sliver of pear. But a restaurant like this must at least have good coffee, right? You’d be mistaken. The espresso was twice the size of any decent Italian espresso (and I’m not talking ristretto), but they even forgot to bring one (out of 3…). Enough about the food though. The service was very good, although a bit cold (are they told not to smile?). Kudos to the sommelier however, who was cheerful, very helpful, and steered us towards some great wines at reasonable prices. The ambience is both exceptional (if you talk about the gorgeous views) and dated (if you talk about the décor). We used to overlook the small inconsistencies of quality over the years, because this was always a place to celebrate a special occasion. But no longer. This was the last time. The Flagstaff House is simply coasting on its former reputation, while still charging prices like they were still a Michelin-star restaurant. It’s a shame. They could be so much more.
My husband and I celebrated our marriage here. The service was excellent. The view can't be beat. And it was by far the best meal I've ever had. They also gaved a dessert sampler on the house to congratulate us oi n our marriage. I would highly recommend Flagstaff house for special occasions.
Exquisite service and staff
Delicious. Beautiful presentation. Expensive
Great place with awesome ambience and good food! Must visit!!
Beautiful location. Impeccable service and sumptuous food.$$$$
Absolutely one of the best places to grab a high end dinner anywhere near Boulder or Denver. The food is always phenomenal and the drinks are always fresh and fun. I love that the menu changes seasonally so there is always something new to try.
Wow! What food! What service! What a view. Amazing and very special. Worth the price.
An incredibly amazing place to go for dinner! Not sure if there's any other restaurant in Boulder that catches the ambience and beauty of the mountains as well as Flagstaff House does. The food was absolutely incredible and they truly make you feel comfortable there.
Nice view - but way too expensive for the quality of food.
Memorable meal for our 5th anniversary
Truly fine dining. It is expensive, but worth it for a very special occasion.

Nice view - but way too expensive for the quality of food.
Memorable meal for our 5th anniversary
Highly attentive service, unique food, lovely view. Not my cup of tea as I am not accustomed to elegant dining but if you enjoy fine dining, this place is for you. Very pricy but definitely an experience that is worth having at least once.
Food is always good!
On 8/2/19 we had our wedding dinner at Flagstaff House and it was an absolute dream. I cannot thank Annie the event coordinator enough for all she has done; she was wonderful to work with and truly made everything smooth when it came to the little details of the wedding reception. My family and I had a wonderful experience at Flagstaff House, the staff was wonderful and attentive, thanks for the smiles and memories we will cherish forever! The view was breathtaking (we even saw a rainbow!) and the food was absolutely divine! Thank you so much to the entire staff for creating a perfect night for us. It was a wonderful experience, we cannot wait to celebrate future anniversaries at Flagstaff House!
First off, the wait staff and view were awesome.... the food however does not match the price tag. My wife and I went here with another couple and dropped $1000 for dinner. For the price, I was left feeling dissatisfied. Places like Bistro Vendome and Barolo Grille are much better bang for the buck. The wine pairings weren't all that delightful either.
Pretty amazing- from the view to the food to the entire staff. Exceptional!
First, I'll warn you that this place is expensive. Expect $150 per person. I have dined at some great restaurants from Maui to Philly and I can say this was one of the most expensive. It is a step back in time with the multiple courses and over the top service. Service was exceptional with numerous servers and the frequent tableware exchanges. It was also a lengthy meal experience. The food quality was in line with most other top rated restaurants but I have had better for far less. Flagstaff House is a great place to celebrate a big event or impress a date but for me it was just sticker shock. I am rating this a 4 because this type of expensive experience may be just what some are looking for but for me it's about the food.
The views from this mountain top restaurant are without compare. There is a balcony for drinks and huge windows for views. Truly a remarkable place for a special occasion. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. The food was also really great. I had a very nice steak during my visit.
Still remember the lobster I had from 5 years ago. Amazing food. Great atmosphere. We got engaged there. They made special menus for us for the occasion. Would love to come back!
Beautiful restaurant! Wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion! This is a must visit restaurant just up the hill from Boulder! Food was excellent.
Our experience was above and beyond! The food was AMAZING! The view was beautiful and the service was perfection! I highly recommend for a special night out. One of my favorite parts was the personalized menu with our names on it!
A nouveau French gourmet restaurant in a stunning glass enclosed setting overlooking the whole Boulder basin. It's expensive with small multi course portions, but food is excellent with a wide selection and the view is one of a kind. And service is top notch.
The food, the view and the service was fantastic
Accommodating. Staff was beyond awesome.
Went for anniversary...great atmosphere and service...food was excellent also.
Fine cuisine, ambiance, service. Very attentive, knowledgeable staff, from valet to sommelier. Original recipes using hard to find foods - New Zealand King Salmon. Live out of state but try to go there whenever possible.
When you want that special place when you are in Boulder this is it. Truly 1 of a kind. Great food & servers.
Perfect place, thanks for the personalized Birthday menu
We had a wonderful meal for 3 people on a lovely outdoor patio with fabulous views of the Great Plains from our mountainside table. From double amuse bouches to a small loaf of zucchini bread to enjoy at home, everything was beautifully prepared and nicely presented by a team of skilled servers. Of particular note was the perfectly cooked lamb sirloin and shank. Altogether a memorable experience.
Two friends and I just had dinner there for the first time in 13 years. The views overlooking Boulder are truly spectacular! Purely based on that alone, I'd give them 5 stars. Our wait staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. My party and I were not fans of the cocktails menu, however. It's not presented in a very pleasing/user-friendly format. The menu appears on a tablet where the names of the drinks are listed out along the left side with no descriptions. You tap on the one that you might be interested in and the list of ingredients appears at the top right corner, opposite of the list. I feel this could be formatted better. Once clicking out of the cocktails menu, to the wine list, I honestly couldn't figure out how to get back to the cocktails list. I'm not the most tech savvy person out there, but I do think this could be improved upon. I do understand and appreciate the focus on presentation, especially in a restaurant such as this, however, this is Boulder and I feel that there is more of a focus on conservation here. As a group we ordered the Chef's tasting menu and over the course of 3-4 hours, we used upwards of about 20 plates each including new utensils eat each course. Again, I acknowledge that for this style of restaurant this is typical, I just think the waste could possibly be cut down by at least a third. Overall the food tasted delicious, however, just don't expect (especially with the tasting menu) to get anything more than a VERY small taste. The focus truly is on the presentation.
We went with the standard menu of choosing three courses rather than the tasting menu. I went for the baby beets, wild mushrooms popover and Nova Scotia halibut supplemented with lobster tail. Every dish was really good but have to say that was pleasantly surprised with the baby beets.
Great service. Great food. Incredible view. Would definitely go back!
Really great restaurant with super delicious food, the small dishes, out of which there are many great choices to share.
Wonderful food & wine, and professional, friendly service characterize this exceptional restaurant. Also, the elevated location furnishes lovely panoramic views of downtown Boulder from your table.
This place is known for fabulous views and thoughtful, innovative new American/French cuisine. On the night we visited a huge storm cell was off in the distance and the views out performed the otherwise excellent cuisine. My wife temed her pea soup 'fascinating', her glazed salmon was excellent, and the star dish was three different preparations of lamb. The shank was so rich it reminded me of liver. My best dish was half a small lobster. It proved a memorable evening.
Highly professional, highly scenic. Good food, excellent experience.
Beautiful views, top-tier service, beautiful ingredients and presentation...but so underseasoned and overpriced. The setting is lovely, but there are a lot of really great restaurants with great views, serving well-sourced food that is tastier and more reasonably priced.
Fantastic views, impeccable service, and outstanding food. Everything we had was delicious and made for a memorable and enjoyable anniversary.
If you can make it there...GO!!! I can't say enough about the staff or the service, or the food!! Never had a bad experience there yet! TOP MARKS!!
I love the lights from the star!
Great food, amazing ambiance, not cheap.
The customer service was AMAZING! The food was super fancy but we felt like it could have used a little more salt... we’re not super fancy people though so maybe that’s just us. Also the portions seemed really small but we were both full by the end of the meal.
We've been here twice now. Once for our rehearsal dinner and then for our wedding anniversary. Both times were incredible.
It was amazing food and scenery. The staff were wonderful and so nice. We celebrated our one year anniversary all the way from Texas.
Great experience. Very upscale place with beautiful views of Boulder and the front range. Food was great and unlike many other upscale places I have been, they weren't stingy and actually gave us a number of small appetizers and deserts to go with our main course.
My son got married there and it was excellent! Everything from the staff to the food was perfect. The Flagstaff event planner did perfect job!
I went here for my retirement. My girlfriend brought me here and the food was wonderful better than I expected. The service was exceptional and the servers were marvelous. I have no complaints about anything this place although expensive and hyped it was worth every dime. I'm going to come back again soon.
Geat boulder view
It's a good place to celebrate your special day. The service is nice with great view.
Incredible experience, food was a delicious 3 course meal, the view was fantastic, and the wait staff were excellent. I would highly recommend eating here if possible while in Boulder.
Divine food, amazing wait staff and the views are amazing
Staff & service were 5 stars. Food was beyond perfect. Not to mention the magnificent view. Was one great experience overall.
Fantastic! Delicious menu and a beer and wine selection to fit anyone's average or exotic taste. Hands down, most observant service I've ever had. Always on the ball for when you need something, to take away used dishes and silverware. I never waited more than a minute to refill my glass or to wait for our next course. If only I could afford to eat here more often! Worth every penny!
Highly attentive service, unique food, lovely view. Not my cup of tea as I am not accustomed to elegant dining but if you enjoy fine dining, this place is for you. Very pricy but definitely an experience that is worth having at least once.

By far my favorite place to take customers. Great views! The food and wine selection is absolutely amazing. The specials change frequently. If you have a large enough party, I suggest that you schedule a tour of the wine cellar. It is phenomenal experience- It always impresses!
We make yearly trek up the mountain to have our anniversary dinner. My wife is a wine sommelier and she loves the wine list, second to none in Boulder. Food is great along with impeccable service. Get the window table and enjoy the view!
A truly amazing one of a find dining experience! Looking to treat somebody? Got a special occasion coming up? Look no further then Flagstaff House. A wine selection you won't find anywhere and master sommeliers to help you find the right one. Chefs that are always bringing new and exciting meals sourced from local farms and encourages no waste dining. Make an effort to eat here at least once, you won't be disappointed!
Great place with great food and beautiful views.
A Boulder landmark. Top shelf food and service. Celebrate your next milestone here with your loved ones.
Very elegant
Food, service and ambiance was wonderful!
Beautiful drive to an amazing location with incredible views. Our group did the tasting menu with the wine pairing. Everything was prepared perfectly. My favorite part about eating at restaurants like this is to learn about the ingredients and preparation but the staff, although courteous, was not very knowledgeable. Most of the courses and pairings had very little explanation.
American food, yeah, yummy. Very savory. The staff was very welcoming and observant. The prices are good for what you get.
Great food, seemed less spectacular than before.
The quality of the service and the food is beyond compare, everyone seems to agree with that. What I love most about this beautiful place is the energy. The spirit of generosity abounds, from the "compliments of the chef" goodies to the take home blueberry loaves, the sense of being cared for went way beyond, above and beyond. They really have it figured out!
Great food, great service, unreal location. Feels like Paradise.
Nice food and nice view, but expensive
Great food, wonderful atmosphere, nice owners.
About the only thing he has going for it is its ambiance and views. Typical incredibly overpriced French restaurant with ridiculously small dishes The entree was the smallest appetizer I've ever seen.
What am amazing place!! So beautiful inside and the service was fabulous
If you want to splurge for one dinner, make it this place. Excellent service and food!
Yes, the 5 stars are warranted and not just for the views, which took a back seat to the absolutely delicious meal and well above average service. Every bite we ate was seasoned, cooked and plated perfectly, the portions were surprisingly quite large for each course, and the chefs samplers and the loaf of sweet bread they sent us home with made this a 6 star experience overall. The price/value equation is perfectly achieved here.
Ambience reminded me of the country club from Caddy Shack. The food was good and the wait staff friendly but the kitchen was clearly overwhelmed. There was a long gap between the second and third course. When we finished our bottle of wine while waiting for our entrees we were asked if we wanted to order another bottle rather than simply being given another bottle for free. Additionally when we were served our entrees they didn't notice that neither my daughter or I had a fork and we sat for a bit with our food getting cold waiting to get a waiters attention. The food was good, the wine list long, the views great but at the price point I expected a bit better service and delivery.
Great veiws but very expressive for what you get. Have had better food for less more. Paying for the experience.
I used to come here with my parents when I was young. It’s still there and on a beautiful mountain too with a great view!
Excellent service, great food, fantastic location
Visited Colorado for my 30th birthday. Spent hundreds of dollars on a meal to celebrate. Ended up with food poisoning and spent the weekend sick in my hotel room. Spoke with the manager who was defensive and disingenuous. Absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant that claims to be of this caliber.
The most fancy, elegant, sophisticated, experience I've ever had. The $300 dinner was worth it. Went there with my fiance and cried because I had never experienced anything more elegant. The food was amazing six different dishes. All of my senses stimulated at once it was amazing.
Magnificent venue with million dollar views! The Staff here are exceptional and go above and beyond! One of a kind experience I highly recommend you making a trip here!
Expensive. There was a lot of wait staff and they kept interrupting my conversation every 4 minutes to ask me if I wanted more bread. Food is tasty but I've had better for less. Decor is dated. View is nice.
Had a beautiful birthday dinner here. Met the head chef after an exquisite meal. Loved chatting and hearing he won chopped. Highly reccomend this restaurant. Food, views..everything super spectacular.
Beautiful location with amazing views of Boulder and the surrounding foothills. The food was incredible very very expensive but very good. If you are celebrating or having some extra cash have fun at the Flagstaff house. Their happy hour is also worth it to stop by.
An amazing epicurean experience!
I am incredibly UNDERwhelmed. Tonight my husband and I went for our 5 year anniversary. I feel as if though we were treated “less than” because of our age. Our waiter Ryan was much more invested in his other tables who had older groups at them. Once the other tables Showed up, we only saw him when it was time to get our check. We were told that we were only allowed one piece of bread each, when I made a remark about the other tables getting several options and refills for bread another waitress came and gave us each one more piece and didn’t let us select the flavor. There weren’t many options and were forced into a 3 course meal, although incredibly tiny portions, it was too much food. The food was chili’s quality at $100 a person, HOWEVER my filet mignon was incredible, I mean unbeatable and the view was fantastic. I paid just as much as everyone there, but wasn’t treated equally, not to mention how long we had to wait in between course we were there for 3 HOURS and at the end just wanted to leave. Will not be returning, and will let my friends know if you aren’t over 40 you’ll be treated like lower class at high roller prices.
We had dinner here to celebrate my wife's enlistment into the Air National Guard. They took great care of us and they made the dinner extra special. The scenery and atmosphere were amazing, but the good and the service is what makes this place really special.
We held our Wedding Reception here a year ago and it was perfect. Annie was amazing to work with. Very professional and detail oriented! We didn't even need a wedding planner after talking to Annie. If you are thinking of holding any event here, Annie is your girl. The ambiance and staff were amazing as well on wedding reception day. Couldn't ask for a more professional staff. Scott even opened a bottle of Hibiki 17 for us that day. We had the wedding cake made by their Chefs and it was THE best cake we've ever had. Our guests kept complimenting on the cake and food. We returned today for our 1 year Anniversary and they did not disappoint. Andres was very attentive and helpful throughout our entire dinner experience. We got to see Scott again and the Chefs were on point! We'll be returning each year at the very least. Thank you!
Pricey but I think it's the best food in boulder
Love this place. Restaurant is amazing!
Visited this place on my last business trip. Great food. Can't until I am back in town to visit again.
Beautiful location, outstanding service and quality/creative food.
Amazing food and views. We sat outside to see the lights of Boulder. The service is awesome with three or four servers bringing the food simultaneously. The food is unique with thoughtful and creative ingredients. Great chef. It is very pricey but worth it.
Of COURSE this was a 5 star dining experience. for the price I would expect no less. Best Halibut I've EVER had.
Great service great presentation great ambiance
Besides the incredible fare from the menu, the chef sends delightful surprises of unique creations to the table. Truly an incredible dining experience.
Impressive fine dining experience with a set menu (for a large group). Fantastic views.
Attended a private party and the food and service was impeccable. The views were incredible. The ride up and the down the mountain was memorable to say the least.
This was the best dining experience I've ever had. The chef is exquisite!
