Love this Mexican restaurant in Avon. Best in the Vail/Edwards corridor. Extensive menu, ample size servings with great, friendly service. Clean, comfortable booths. Known for their margarita menu. Plenty of parking.

Friendly staff. 5 of us. 4 burritos & 1 shrimp salad. The shrimp didn't taste fresh. 2 of us couldn't handle the heat of our burritos, even tho it's listed as a mild sauce. The fried ice cream coating was a little soggy. Super friendly staff, tho. I'd recomme d the creama fresh sauce instead of the mild red sauce over the top of burritos, unless you really like the heat. Good strawberry margharita.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in town. I am a local and have been coming here for years. As a Hispanic, the food here never disappoints, tastes great and as and as authentic as ever. I've tried many of the dishes on the menu and haven't had one that wasn't good or well-made. I've recommended this place to many friends that have visited over the years & they've loved it as well.

This place is by far THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD! The service was great and the food was amazing. Authentic Mexican. Not an over salted and over cheesed american interpretation. The chips and salsa were amazing. So good that I asked for more chips and salsa during my entree. (The reviewer before me mentioned when he asked for more chips they didnt bring salsa. All you have to do is ask. They certainly will bring you anything you want so dont be shy. They are very friendy!) Also worth mentioning is they did a great job of accomodating a couple modifications to my entree which was nice also since I dont do well with dairy.This place is amazing and more importantly well priced. You will not be disappointed if you eat here.

Food for the price was okay. I think it was the waitress that bothered me. The waitress does not serve the food the food server was fantastic. The drinks were good. Asked for an extra margarita glass due to ordering a picher after 18 minutes to get and I had to go to the bar and get it myself, when finished I Asked for a togo box and it took almost another half hour to get one. But the second I put money on the table to pay she was there in less than a minute smiling and happy asking us to come back and they were just as busy, and then I had to ask for change she assumed. I tipped her but not what she wanted, I found the server who made sure we were okay and got us extra waters quickly to give the tip I normally would have given and wow his gratitude was so honest. Not sure we will ever go back. But worth a try for the drinks.

Jalisco's is the best! Lots of room, fast and friendly service, and good inexpensive food! I am a repeat customer and any time I'm in North Conway I love to eat here. Good place for families and kids will be happy with a kids menu that offers options other than Mexican food. They also have a full bar.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch today expecting it to be your typical Americanized Texmex food. We were pleasantly surprised. The mole is made from scratch and one of the best I've ever tasted. The Tacos Al Pastor is made in the traditional Mexican way and sure had amazing flavor. Our waiter was friendly enough and answered our questions but the way the guy who delivered our food to us just dropping our food in the table was a little offputting. We still will go back.

We got there with a 4 yo and 2 yo. Busy night. Told it would be 5-10 minutes, sure didn't look that way. And it wasn't. After 30 minutes, we left. There were multiple times there were at least 4 tables open and people still waiting. Grumbling customers outside were having the same experience. With no waiting area inside, it was a pretty terrible experience trying to keep them occupied.

Food was mediocre at best, I asked the waiter if their burgers were any good and the waiter didn't give me a yes or no answer. All he said was that they were popular so I went ahead and got it. This burger came out more well done than any burger I've ever had in my life. It was so crispy I just gave up on it and ate off my family's plates. Their food was just mediocre as well. I might be biased considering I'm from texas and waited at tex mex resturaunt before but I never served food I wouldn't eat nor food that wasnt cooked right. And my server didn't do that for me nor actually check on us to see how were doing.

Not good. Not authentic tasting. Poor service. My wife was born and reared in Southern Arizona, 39 miles north of the Mexican border. In her small town, she ate Mexican Food for 75% of her meals. This is her report: Meat tasted boiled, not flavored and moist. Beans and rice were put inside burrito and yet had a hard time finding them -- the filling was mostly huge chunks of unflavorful meat. Sauces taste canned. Anyone can take a tortilla, throw some meat in, and top it with canned sauce and cheese. The chicken was especially dry. was in huge chunks inside the burrito, and tasted like canned chicken. Very disappointing. In fact, one up from the worst I've ever had.

Rather bland food. Nothing noteworthy. Staff was nice People say they like the fast service but that’s because the food is CLEARLY microwaved. Kids menu pricing is outrageous. You pay extra for juice but not soda... which was crazy to me. Margarita was okay. Was looking for some solid places to eat at on our trips up to Storyland throughout the summer but this won’t be one of them.

It’s not clear to us how this place is getting such good reviews. This was the worst Mexican experience we have ever had. Starting w drinks, what they call sangria which they charge $6.50 per 4 oz, is basically juice. That is of course, if they don’t forget to serve you the drink and charge you for it anyway. It took 10 min for a server to come take drink orders, 15 min for the drinks to come, and another 20 min for them to take the food order, which they also couldn’t get straight. Once food was ordered it was approximately 45 min before food arrived lukewarm. I’ve had many great fajitas at even mediocre Mexican restaurants— the fajitas they served here looked liked minced dog food and tasted like it too. All in all, we would not recommend this place by any stretch of the imagination. I’d have given this place minus 5 stars if possible.

THE WORST PLACE EVER Put it this way, I cried when My Husband & I left. It was our Anniversary and we were so Excited to go out and have a Wonderful Time. We sat down to eat and this animal (prairie dog) kept running around in and out of the kitchen. We asked the waitress about it and all she had to say was, theres more than one and as long as they dont feel threated they wont bite. WHAT? REALLY? I sat on my feet and My Husband noticed tears in my eyes and we left. Im So Disappointed, I've Worked In The Restaurant Industry All My Life And Have Never Witness Anything Like This Before. Serving sizes are massive. The food is amazing. And it was ready really quickly. The food is all really fresh and flavorful. I had the burrito Jalisco with Chipotle sauce on the side. The sauce was smoky and rich not spicy. Really delicious. Burrito was easily two meals. My sister had the veggie fajitas which was also a huge serving and really filling. I'll definitely go back.

A wonderful local restaurant in North Conway. There is a generous selection from the menu that left me undecided to a small extent, but there is always the one that stands out. Service was nice and our food came out quickly. Everything was hot and very delicious. My only gripe was that we were given a refill of nachos, but no additional salsa, ouch, but it made for good scooping for the meal. My entree was amazingly filling and I was so stuffed I needed a small takeaway container. Even reheated the next day it was still awesome.

6 of us ate there this evening and we will not be going back. First the good: Nice setting and clean restaurant. The pricey menu had us thinking we were going to have great service and a fabulous meal. That was not the case. The bad: We started with water and the waiter seemed visibly disappointed by that. There were 6 of us and he brought 2 small salsa and chip baskets. The salsa was great, the chips were missing salt; no problem we salted them, except the salt shaker had a mixture of sugar and salt. With 6 people, 3 salsa and chip baskets would be preferable. When he came back to take our order, my selection had choices. After taking our orders, he came back to let me know, one of my choices was not available so I indicted the other was fine; he did not ask or listen to my bean choice so I recieved refried beans, again, not a big deal. The smothered nachos order had obviously sat for a while before coming out as the chips were soggy; though the dish was flavorful. Mine meal was bland. The vegetable burrito was actually a rice burrito. 2 of the dishes were OK and the 'hot' (spicy) one was good. The ugly: After delivering the food, the waiter never returned to confirm everything was acceptable. So we flagged down another waiter to ask why the vegetable burrito had only rice and no vegetables. He indicated the menu stated it had lettuce and tomato and, after closer examination, there were a few very small pieces of both; definitely a rice burrito and should be advertised as such. He also told her what the vegetable one was called. The customer mentioned she also hadn't gotten the black beans (she had mentioned the beans were missing when her food was delivered; the waiter said he was getting them). She asked for vegetables and was told there would be an additional charge; she indicated that was fine. The beans were delivered on the same plate as the vegetables. At that point we were ready to box some of the food and go. Our waiter brought one bill and when we asked him to split it, he was obviously not happy. When we got our bills, a 20% gratuity had been added; if the service had been good, he would have gotten more, instead, the 20% was more than he deserved. Disappointing service and food.

If you leave a 13.5% tip for decent service and average food one would think it is sufficient. However, the folks decided to bump their tip and charge a bit extra. Not cool. Won't come back but also got reminded that I should tip less and in cash. I appreciate hard work and honesty, values that are underrepresented at this place.

DO NOT GO THERE TO EAT! they are ridiculously rude and untruthful, I sat down and ordered food with my boyfriend to have a nice positive meal but no, we had a meal which was very small and cold, they always come out with extremely hot plates so they obviously microwave the food and that’s why the plates are so hot. they also don’t have a men’s bathroom, you have to go outside in the gross porta potty and wash your hands in a tiny unclean sink with freezing cold water you have to pump with your foot. the woman waitress with the glasses has always been very rude and has been very passive aggressive and sarcastic when we order or ask for the check. she than proceeded to commit FRAUD by adding a tip 15% tip on the bill we did not condone she also tried to charge us for items we did not order and when we pointed out the bill was wrong she argued with us and we had to call the manager over to fix our bill.

We were here in December 2012 and loved it. It was just like the TexMex we were expecting. Our valet at the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch recommended this place, and it didn't disappoint. One word of caution, though, their enchilada sauce has peanut butter in it, so order carefully if you have anyone in your party allergic, like my son. Luckily I found this warning on the menu before we ordered. He was safely able to eat a chicken taco with rice and beans.

I would have given 5 stars here. The food was great, price was right. The service needs help. Stood at the door while no less than 5 staff stood around playing grabass. I was within literal seconds of leaving when they finally decided to do their jobs and get us a table in a mostly empty restaurant. I wouldnt come here when its busy. Good food and large portions. Jalepeño margarita was great. Took quite a while to be seated by hostess and sat. Chips we're good but salsa a little bland but ok. Spices it up with some of the table hot sauce and salt and it helped. Server was pretty slow to take our orders. Boyfriend's steak burrito was yummy and large and so were my chicken fajitas. We each will get 2 yummy meals from that.

I read a bunch of the positive and negative reviews. Our experience was in the middle. The food was ok, but not great. We had no problems with the service. Nobody got sick. I probably wouldn't eat there again, but it wasn't terrible or anything.

First off, the service has always been incredible. No matter how busy or crowded, the staff has been attentive and friendly. The food is delicious and comes out quickly. We go back every visit as the price is extremely hard to beat.

Two things I look for in a Mexican Restaurant are chips & salsa and customer service (actually all restaurants), both lacking here. Chips were too crunchy instead of crispy, salsa tasted like tomato Soup (with tomato chunks) the only saving grace were the cilantro and onion. My son got a $28 meal with steak and shrimp that was a “4” on a scale of 1-10. Our waiter was condescending and impatient. We probably won’t return or recommend

As a frequent diner in Avon and Edwards I can say this place has the best service in the valley hands down. They have water on the table within seconds of being seated. Chips and salsa right away , the severs here are incredibly attentive and really care about their customers. The menu is huge and it’s all good. I’ve tried probably 15 different entrees and they’re all great. The chicken with mole is awesome , the tres cabellos is incredible. If you come , ask for Saul if he’s working. He’s the best there is and will make sure you’re taken care of 100%. This place has NEVER let me down on food quality or service. 5 stars for service alone. Saul IS this place. He is the reason we come 1/2 times a week. I hope he’s recognized by his management because he truly goes above and beyond.

I found the food here to be excellent, and I wish it wasn't so far away from where I live. The service is typical Mexican service, which means you are going to be taken care of extremely well. They make you feel completely at home and are some of the most welcoming people on the planet. The attention to detail in the food is obvious from the first thing you order to the dessert. Everything tasted so fresh and bright. Don't let the fact that they are located in an old fast food building for you - this ain't a Taco Bell. This was authentic Mexican food at its finest.

I should start by saying I am from Texas. So yes why come to CO for Mexican food. Because it was convenient. Can’t say I was impressed at all. Waiter was very quick at taking our order and it felt as if we were putting him out. Food didn’t have a lot of flavor and the margaritas taste like just lemon and water.

Shocked to see the 4 star rating.. there were servers or staff hanging out n doing nothing but just one guy taking ALL orders .. food was under cooked and asked twice to fix Fajita. ... basic cooking style of Fajita is to cook in sauce n serve it sizzling... both were missing. Veges were not grilled, no sauces and no steaming. Very long service. Drinks r just OK. .. never coming back here again
