Great food, but Don’t order for delivery through any service. They forgot tortillas for fajitas 3 times, ordered a smothered burrito combo - only got the burrito, no enchilada, no relleno. Sad to give up ordering.

This El Tapatio location provides the best costumer service in the industry. I love how they work together to always make sure you are taken care of at all time. The food always comes out fast and hot and has been absolutely delicious every time I have ever been there. This is definitely one of my top favorite and recommended restaurants for anyone in the area. I will continue to take my family there for years to come. Thank you El Tapatio team.

The food is terrible. I could've gone to taco star and spent less and it would've tasted better. The salsa is mediocre, the chile relleno had what tasted like government cheese and I'm pretty positive the enchilada sauce is canned. I couldn't finish my food. And unfortunately, my stomach and toilet's gotten to experience the after effects for the past 2 days! The only good thing from this restaurant was my margarita. Whichever bartender was there Sunday 9-8-19 around 1:30 knows what they're doing

I think our server forget about us. Also disappointed that both salsa and chips cost extra after the first basket which wasn't mentioned when I asked for extra salsa with my entree. The food was average and very, very limited options for vegans.

Best green chile in town! They also offer an amazing tamale plate, and their burritos are so so good. They have the greatest staff, and their customer service is amazing! Everyone always seems happy here, which shows me they enjoy their jobs and management is good. Very clean and a fun place to watch sports games! My dad and i meet here often!

Jad the Vuelve cocktail, it come with octopus, shrimp, scallops and oysters. The oysters were a bit crunchy but overall food tastes great. My only problem was that the server never check on us, the busboy kept asking how everything was and brought us the check.

The manager had a really weird vibe towards me like I shouldn’t be there and the horchata is the fake powder mix and water stuff and it tasted like water with a tiny bit of flavor. Food was alright, nothing special. Disappointed overall in this “Mexican” restaurant

Food was the worst “authentic mexican food” i’ve ever had at a restaurant. Ordered menudo and only had 4 bites, they burned the bread and the menudo was so bitter I couldn’t eat it. Turned it away and wasn’t offered something else and was still charged for it. Will never go back.

I wasn't really impressed with the food or the strawberry Margarita. My 1st set of silverware had a super bent fork no tongs were straight and I waited forever to order. The 1st Margarita was wrong and when I did get my strawberry Margarita it wasn't very good. I ordered the carnitas plate and it was just ok. I'm willing to try it again because I would love to find it really good Mexican restaurant in this area maybe it was just an off night I don't know

I've been here around a dozen times and always get consistently good service and food. Chips and salsa are phenomenal here, beer list is pretty decent (I'm a huge fan of 10 barrels apocalypse IPA) and food is always great. One of my favorite lunch spots

Ordered a T-bone Med-Well but received a very well done dry steak. I don't like sending things back but even the meat right next to the bone was dry so it wasn't happening. The server was very kind and brought my plate back to the kitchen and a short while later brought me a perfect steak with just a little pink in the middle. The meal was absolutely delicious! Great service and great food!

I tried this place for take out on May 11th and I was absolutely in love with their steak and chicken fajitas for two! It was a huge plate of fajitas with two individual plates of rice and beans, and like 12 tortillas.

It was OK 18 of us went there after work, we all ordered meals, so we weren't just occupying tables. Everyone drank beer, wine and mixed drinks. So we weren't just taking up space, this was a quiet Tuesday. The service was bad. And my food was bland. In fairness everyone else appeared to enjoy their food. And they have impressive giant margaritas. Even though this place is just up the road from our work (the waitstaff knew this), I will not return. Unless someone else has a get together there.

Terrible for take out! The food is delicious, (minus their green chili), We gave them about 4 chances and our order was incorrect, by A LOT ! Every single time! The manager and employees tried to charge us again for items we never received. They did not really do much to make it right any of the times. Especially after spending $60+ for 2! Not great customer service. I am sure the dine-in experience is much better. Chorizo queso is to die for!

Very friendly customer service. I can't express how nice everyone was with my family. Waiting time was perfect and we got seated right away. Food tasted amazing through I'd advice be carefully with the seafood since it might seem still cold. My partner got something with shrimp and they said it tasted rubbery which in my experience means the shrimp been frozen a long time. Our friend loved their food and so did I it seemed like I wanted more. It's definitely got nice portion food which is always great. Definitely would come back here again.

This place breathes Mexican food culture. From the rich dark mole to the selection of raw seafood, it's on point. The food is varied and well seasoned. The staff are at once friendly and respectful. The prices are reasonable, and well deserved since the ambiance is comfortable and full of Mexican references. This facility can handle groups and has wheelchair access.

Ten of us went in at 6pm on Cinco de Mayo so I won't judge the service too harshly and it was crazy busy. The food wasn't very tasty at all. It wasn't authentic Mexican food. The service was okay and the special margarita bad. I won't be returning for any reason.

Went here on 05/10/19 for an early Mothers Day dinner. Had the Mothers Day fajita special that was good but the girl that was helping our waitress kept coming literally every 5 minutes to flirt with my husband and ask if he wanted drinks and kept touching him on his arms and shoulders, well over 10 times. It was beyond obnoxious. She did not even ask me if I wanted a drink or acknowledge me once. ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL SERVICE AND WASTE OF A MOTHERS DAY DINNER, IF YOU ARE A WOMAN I WOULD RECOMMEND GOING SOMEWHERE YOU WILL BE TREATED WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT.

I would give two and a half to be fair. OK just OK. Salsa is super hot and not tomato based. Prices are out of this world. Two a La Carte items totaled a $13 bill without even a drink. Service was good. Their chili relano was more like a grilled cheese sandwich flavor wise no real tang or spice. I may go again if I were hungry and in the area and didn't mind spending too much. but would not plan on it.

So disappointed this time. We brought 2 friends from out of state here after raving about the top notch service we always get, and wouldn't you know it, it was horrible. A table of 12 came 15 minutes after we were seated and they got their food before we did!! Also, no one ever came by to refill drinks or chips. My husband's Pepsi glass sat empty for 25 minutes! The food was served (We all got fajitas, but the server placed our meals and sides on the table and walked away. We had no tortillas! We waited about 3 minutes, then flagged someone down and asked for tortillas. It was a very disappointing night and embarrassing for me after raving about this place to our friends. I will say that the food was very good as always, but I was disappointed when my husband said he doesn't care to go back again.

I eat tacos al carbon at the one in Lakewood on Wadsworh usually (is always amazing). I ate at this one, thinking food would be the same. Very dissapointing-you must have no pride in your work. Tortillas, tomato, onion, and peppers were almost raw/not grilled. I couldn’t even eat it. Then, the guy brought me the check without trying to fix it-just sorry. Try to fix it.

Bad everything!!! We come here with our family when were in town, have been for some time. Not too sure what's changed but by far the worst experience we've ever had at a restaurant. First off we found rubber band in our salsa and the waiter had the nerve to try and shift blame on us. Brought out the cilantro and said it was a accident. No empathy what so ever. Then a long piece of blond hair in my daughters meat. This time the manager came out and yet again tried to hint that it was one of our hairs and that all the cooks had short hair. His arrogance was pathetic. Don't know how he could even be a manager, waiter mentality at best. Could not believe how poor the service was and if I could rate it lower I would. Then the icing on the cake came later that evening when my son was so sick we almost had to take him to the emergency room. 3-4 bowel movements and severe pain lead to a urgent care visit. He was OK and the only thing they could suggest was food poisoning. He had no other symptoms and was fine the following day. I will never return and have to find somewhere better to go when coming back home... Our godmother complained to the health department but to this day no apology from the restaurant.
