As you can see the average score it has is basically the top, and it's based on a very large number of scores, so we can think that the evaluation is quite accurate. If many people have bothered to evaluate when they are pleased with the business, it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to set evaluations when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant belongs to the category of Breakfast restaurant.
Amazing food. Are favorite restaurant in Fort Collins. Quality never changes. Always amazing. The bakery is a must stop. Love the croissants! Just bring cash.
Ignore the small amount of bad reviews, this place was amazing. Yes they don't accept cards, but they have an ATM in house, and it's probably the cheapest ATM in town. Service was fine, food was gorgeous, coffee was great, and the decorations and atmosphere is very nice. Not to mention the attached bakery has an awesome assortment of top notch baked treats. We are new to Fort Collins, but this is by far my favorite place so far.
The food is amazing and the environment is cute! The French woman who owns it is a bit snooty, and they do NOT take credit cards.
Claude is a master baker! Best baguette in town, delectable crepes, and savory galettes! Everything here is to die for, bring cash or there's an atm (cash only), and don't forget to grab a snack for later from the bakery counter in the back - enjoy!
OMG SO good Love love love this place and its food , u are a gem to FC
I don't even have the words to describe-how much I love this place. Have only been once but it was outstanding- 100% going back and would highly recommend.
What an amazing French restaurant!! This was the best food I've had in Fort Collins and I'm not even a huge fan of French cuisine. With a pleasant atmosphere and waitstaff, this establishment was an easy 5 stars!
Love this place.. the ham and Swiss croissants were magnifique.. As well as the Nutella croissants and everything else we had!!
This place is fantastic. Great coffee. Great savory dishes. Delicious crepes. And the best waffles I have ever had in my life. The best french restaurant I have been to out of all the ones I've tried from Highlands Ranch to Denver to Foco.
I've been at this place for breakfast for the first time today and the food was amazing! Very few places leave you with this huge WOW experience, but this is one of them. As a small business owner who accepts credit cards, I understand their cash only policy. Credit card companies take a big chunk out of your profit. What a delightful place! The bakery items look as if they are instantly addictive as well. Thank you, I'll definitely be back!
Staff super helpful and friendly!! Always an indulging delight whenever we visit!
Yumm! The food is scrumptious. The coffee is excellent and restaurant was very accommodating for small children. Cash only was not much of a problem since an ATM was available and it’s only 1.50 to use.
Not 5 because we arrived 15 min before closing and could not fully experience the crepes! We did purchase tarts and croissant from the bakery. Authentic and delicious (I am a baker) and sold out, which is a good thing! Easy to find a few parking spaces and a lovely small restaurant menu.
Sometimes their baguettes are amazing and sometimes a little well done. It’s best to check first. the pastries are always delightful
The lynch and breakfast is amazing they have very nice employees there deserts are some of the best ive ever had I really hope I can go there again.
Love this Family owned and operated French restaurant and bakery so much I bugged Carole Weekly until she gave me a job here. Come see me in the bakery and get some made from scratch the authentic French way with top of the line ingredients and some amazing art decor and all around awesome staff. You WON'T be disappointed, I promise!
Lots of delicious breakfast items. Pastries are great, but the cocotte brioche is my favorite!
Excellent service and gourmet French cuisine !
Great place for pastry and breakfast... be ready cash only A+
The macroons are overly sweet. Not enough seats. The crowd is pretentious people who are racists. If you are not white you probably should stay away from this place. They were bot welcoming because I was not white. These type of businesses are racists.
Place to meet at eat good French food.
I've only picked up the baked goods from here, but they are all quite good! I did prefer the old town location because it was easy for me to walk to. Parking in the new location is a little bit annoying if you have to.
Definitely guaranteed stop any time in Fort Collins. Always have amazing meals and we make sure to get bakery items to go. The environment is fun and friendly and always helpful. Cash only requirement gives the place a sense of simplicity and there is an ATM on site for those who need it.
Loved having brunch at the Creperie! They were working with a short staff for our visit but the food and staff made up for the wait in spades! When our food arrived it was so worth the wait! It was indescribably delicious! I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was perfect .... far beyond my expectations! I love Fort Collins and will be returning often to try other menu entre's. Sometimes in life, a thing is worth waiting for and the Creoerie is one of them!
Very good food, only problem is parking, waiting in line for a table, and cash or check only.
Some of the best baked sweets I've ever had! Coffee eclairs are so good I could eat a dozen. Light and flaky, with a cream filling that's light, fluffy, and not too sweet. You can really taste the quality of their ingredients, and the quality of the bakers skill
High quality and very tasty French food. Nice atmosphere and fun video of the Baker to watch while waiting. The crepes and galettes are wonderful whether they are sweet or savory. Try some of the excellent goods from the bakery. Remember to bring cash and on weekends be prepared for a bit of a wait. Plenty of vegetarian options. Definitely worth going to.
This has been our favorite place to eat since their old location in old town. New location still has it’s charm & the food and service is great here. From quick stops to the bakery side or sitting down at the restaurant it is always special here. We bring everyone that visits us in Fort Collins to share our love for the restaurant! The menu has something that everyone will enjoy & make sure to come early to grab all your favorite pasteries before they’re gone for the day! This is a cash only business but the owners have an ATM inside their restaurant that makes it convenient if you forgot to bring cash with you.
My daughter brought me here for my birthday and it was amazing! Our waiter was outstanding also!
I love coming here for brunch with my mom! The crepes really are authentic - they remind of the ones I had daily in Paris. So delicious! The bakery has lots of yummy options too. I do wish they had more macarons though - they seem to sell out fast as they’re always out of my favorite flavors by the time I get there.
I'm obsessed with this place! It is so authentic, welcoming and the food is AMAZING! Lucy, our favorite waitress, is so attentive, knowledgeable and accommodating. Try this place out, people! And, remember...bring cash...and extra cash for some take-home French pastries. YUM!!
The Peach stuffed french toast is absolutely to die for. Served with fresh berries on the side & real whipped cream. You haven't lived until you've experienced this!
Inexpensive, cash or check only, really good bakery in the back too,. friendly staff
I really enjoyed the food. The table service was great, the host prompt, and the environment inviting. The murals on the walls are a fun and lovely touch. The decor gives plenty to look at and it all adds up to an exciting and cozy feel. The pastry shop in the restaurant is lovely. Everything is always fresh and thoughtfully crafted. The service is prompt and the line, even when it is out the door, moves quickly. My only complaint about the whole affair is the TV's. I feel there are too many TV's. It feels unnecessary and distracting in an already visually rich environment. The screen that shows nothing but continual french pastry preparation is charming, but I still find the quantity of televisions excessive. Parking can barely a challenge on busy mornings so be prepared to walk a little and enjoy the air!
We went out for brunch with our dog and they had the patio closed so we couldn't eat there.
Cash only shouldn't be rewarded in 2019. No fee ATM should be conspicuously available. After reading other negative reviews, expect excuses and victim blaming if you cross the owner. Apparently claims to be baking and cooking but instead decides to be petty and fake with their apologies. Didn't Seinfeld make an episode about a proprietor who ran a soup restaurant a stubborn and unfriendly way?
The savory crepes did not have enough filling and tasted like they were fried in grease. Left my stomach feeling quite uneasy. I ate there today 5/28 had the 4 cheese with smoked sausage galette. The edges of the crepe were empty nothing but thin crispy buckwheat that tasted like old grease
I went there for a dessert, I had a very good crepes
California veggiterian galette was excelent.
Really excellent food and service, so the music they were playing was kind of weird. They probably would have changed it if I asked them, and their food was really good, so I'm not going to take a star away for that. Tell them I sent you. They will have no idea what you're talking about.
Went for a brunch. Seated quickly. No trouble with seating a baby. We had the standard brunch and coffee. A little pricier than most places, but food is excellent. We’ll be back. Croissants are always the best!
This place rocks! Not in my town but can't wait to brunch here again! Loved it.
Food was at top notch. The restaurant is always clean and service was unbeatable. Recommended.
Love the place and double love the bakery ... they are actually French for real with the French speaking stuff .... love them so much that don't mind driving for an hour twice a month
Great food. Great coffee.
Best pastries in town, and a nice place for breakfast or brunch.
Amazing food & service! Lizzie took great care of us & gave some awesome recommendations. The chocolate croissant was so good, I was pleasantly surprised when I took a bite & found more chocolate! 5 stars for sure, I highly recommend this place.
We enjoy this great quality authentic French food on a regular rotation basis. It is always freshly prepared and consistent. We travel a lot and it is always nice to be near home for such great quality dining. We like everything so much we normally split two meals in order to experience an even wider variety.
That place is delicious!!! We live it. Please don't ever change.
Great breakfast place. A bit crowded as the tables are very close together. Good food at reasonable prices. Staff was very nice.
One of the best places I've ever eaten food. I got a sweet crepe and a brioche thing with eggs and poblano sauce on it. Both were amazing!!! Had a bit of my girlfriend's croissant meal and it was great too! Had a key lime pie thing and baguette which were both amazing as well. Can't recommend this place enough. Go here if you're in foco. It is cash only though
The food was good but I felt a bit left alone by the service. Also, it was not blatantly obvious that this is a cash or check only restaurant. The ATM up front, well not horribly expensive to withdraw cash, will pull up your balance after you have grabbed your cash so if you don't stick around to cancel out the balance the person behind you can see your balance. Be sure to come prepared are your experience may not be as good as it could be.
The food was delicious but their deceptive practice of not telling you when you sit down that they do not accept credit cards is definitely a reason not to return. I had to go across the street to the gas station and pay an extra 2.50 to get money (their ATM was out of order). They said, "we are a small family owned business and that is why we do not take credit cards." Very hard to believe considering other family-owned businesses take credit cards. Personally, on the customer service side, accepting credit cards is a huge convenience and how 90% of customers pay these days. This sounds to me like the owners are unwilling to carve out a little revenue to make it more customer friendly.
The food was VERY GOOD! The service, however, left a lot to be desired. We chose to sit outside on the patio, and our waiter totally forgot about us. While he was waiting on another table, we tried to get his attention, and after several attempts, he finally turned around and said, "What's up?" Maybe I expect too much, but that just didn't seem like a good response. We might go back for the great food and just hope to get a better server.
No complaints! Food was good the wait was a little long but is to be expected because they were pretty busy! Wouldn't mind going there again for sure!
This was my first time here. The savory buckwheat crepe was delicious! The croissant was light and flaky ( I'd never had one like this!) I'll definitely go back to try some of the yummy looking pastries in the bakery area.
Very nice decor, friendly staff. It was neat that on their t.v.'s they had videos of past activities in their restaurant. They showed the chefs, bakers and front end staff working. It was well poor together. The food here is French cuisine and they are open for breakfast and lunch. There is a bakery, to take baked goods home. Their menu had several healthy options including vegetarian and gluten free options. NOTE! Cash ONLY
Told us the wait was 15 minutes. After 40, we were told to wait with 5+ tables open. We left. Will not return.
Good service. Nice dark French roast coffee. Wonderful baguette and fried potatoes. Fresh squeezed OJ. Good to be able to piece together a vegan breakfast at a French place.
Excellent food and top notch service. We'll be back for sure!
Food was great but this is a cash only Restuarant and their ATM didn’t work properly, then charged my account as if I had received the cash. They were willing to reimburse me when I found it on my bank statement the next day but said they could not return the $4.00 worth of fees I paid for cash I did not receive. I had to make a trip back to Ft Collins to get my cash back and no apologies. The response was more like yes our ATM often has this error. DON’T USE THEIR ATM!!! BRING CASH!
Absolutely delicious. They make the best croissants I've ever had, and amazing crepes, and delicious sandwiches. You can't go wrong with anything you pick! I've been here only a handful of times starting in 2012 or 2013 when they were in Old Town, and I think it has only gotten better. Our server was great and extremely friendly and helpful. I will say that you may have to wait a little to be seated and for your food when it's busy, but we came at about 1:15 on a Sunday and had quick service. As many others have said, the place is cash only, but there is an ATM right by the door with a very low fee. Also the small parking lot in front is usually full, so you may have to park on the frontage road a little further down. Great place, and I can't wait to come back again soon!
Wonderful service and delicious food. Patio is noisy.
It was difficult to decide what to order bcuz everything looked delicious!
Croissants were great! Coffee was weak and orange juice was mostly sugar with a vague hint of orange.
Cash or check only. Can't say ill repeat this dine in option. We may try the bakery. My issue here was honestly the service. Nice demeanor but couldn't keep up with 2 servers when they got to about 80% full. There's only about 20 indoor tables there and Tuesday isn't exactly a rush day. I had the omelet with ham (which we discussed twice) and it came without ham. My 5yr old had the pancake crepe was flawless, I recommend it if you're going for crepes. It matched what I remember from Germany. They need a host/hostess who you pay your tab with to unload the servers who were slow on coffee refills and had some plates dropped by either kitchen staff or a manager.
Excellent food, had been looking forward to coming here to try the food for a couple months and it did not disappoint. Our male server, can't remember his name, was excellent. Could really use a couple more staff. The hostesses noticeably need some work, and I think its probably mostly due to them running food as well as hostess duties while we were there (a dedicated hostess goes a long way, and if anything it is the checkout process that could use the extra help considering it's a cash only establishment making every checkout more demanding / time consuming on the servers).
Had the nutella, banana , and strawberry crepe. It was amazing!
Macarons are my favorite and this is the place to get them! Everything in the bakery is so tasty and you can tell is made with love :)
The lovely service staff taught me the proper pronunciation for 'brioche'.
The crepes were very good but the fruit was not quite ripe and the sauce was too sweet. The lavender macaron was amazing. It is also annoying that they only accept cash when many places are going cashless. The atm in the cafe charges over $1 plus whatever fees your bank charges... not a huge deal but unnecessary.
Nice food - the crepes were very good. Given the name and description of this place, and the standards in Fort Collins, I wished the wait staff were a bit more knowledgeable about French food. But they were friendly and the service was decent, and it was a nice experience overall. The one hang up is that they only take cash which took me by surprise. But, they have an ATM which facilitated this.
Very friendly staff, food was phenomenal, and the atmosphere was one of a kind!!! Wish I could give 10 stars!!! Will definitley be back when I visit my friend!!!
Absolutely loved this restaurant. We are here visiting our son in Fort Collins Colorado and he suggested this place for breakfast. Its one of his favorite breakfast restaurants and we completely understand why. Everything is authentic French made right there in house. There is a bakery on one side of the restaurant and then the main dinning hall is on the other. Our meal was so delicious and we highly recommend this place.
The place is amazing with a comfortable atmosphere an superb food made fresh. Everything is made from scratch and nothing is artifical. I know there are quite a few one star reviews on here but please ignore those. Most of them complain about the fact that you have to pay with cash, but there is an ATM. The ATM is there to save money, and according to a response written from someone who works there, the extra revenue is the equivalent of two waiters salary, and the money is going to help get their two kids into college. Others have complained that the ATM has a one dollar fee but seriously guys get over yourself, it’s one buck. There is a little bit of a wait, but it is pleasant and well worth. If you honestly can’t be patient and start a conversation while you wait for your food, go to McDonalds. This isn’t a fast food restaurant. It is supposed to be a slow and relaxed experience. Please, disregard the low reviews, bring some cash, and enjoy you time there. P.S. If the ATM machine is out of cash, just ask an employee, it’s that simple
Omg my whole family loved this place didn't expect for the highlight of our vacation to be a French restaurant in Colorado that my sister in law mentioned but it was
Average experience. I went in with 8 or so people for Sunday lunch. I got a baguette sandwich that had lettuce and chicken on it. The bread was full of low quality lettuce (think white/clear end bits of cheap lettuce) that had basically no flavor, and there was a tiny bit of shredded chicken basically as a garnish on top. The kitchen had to remake two full dishes (eggs prepared wrong on one, bananas instead of strawberries on the second). We never got a water refill until the end of the meal. The server forgot to mention they were out of beignets that we ordered at the beginning of the meal until we had finished eating. At the end of the meal, the server also didn't mention an 18% gratuity was included on the check. I understand this is common practice to include gratuity for big groups, but I don't like it when servers don't mention that hoping to get a double tip. I would sum up this restaurant in one word: 'meh'. I don't plan to eat here again. The food doesn't remind me much at all of the food I had the opportunity to eat when I visited France a few years ago. My friends from France would scoff at the chewy, dense bread baguettes/croissants and questionable lettuce, not to mention the strange proportion of meat to bread etc.
Savory galete and French roast coffee was excellent. Cash only restaurant, ATM at the location.
My family and I moved into Timnath this week so we are out exploring and trying new things. We drove past La Creperie and almost never stopped. I am so glad we did. The restaurant was busy but worth the wait. They have a wide selection of pastries and a residue at we will be trying out soon. This restaurant is absolutely wonderful! Their crepes are to die for, and their menu is authenticity French cuisine! Pastries in the bakery are the most beautiful I’ve seen in years, all made with care. I can’t believe colorado has this gem. Will go back every time we travel to Colorado. (Warning: it’s not cheap)
Lovely place. Extensive menu. Great service.
Bakery is delightful. The restaurant has really gone downhill. The crepes are floating in grease and the french woman who is an owner? and a waitress is ultra rude and catty. (have you seen her responses to their low google reviews?! Unreal!!) Adding to the inconvenience factor, they don't take credit/debit cards. I'll pop in for a pastry now and again but will never set foot in the restaurant side. Too bad really, it was rather nice at one time.
LOVE this place! Amazing crepes and excellent selection of pastries. Not a good place if you are in a rush, but delicious food. Also, it's cash only. So glad I found this place. A new favorite for sure.
Delicious French bakery and cuisine! Definitely visit the bakery to take treats home! Very small parking lot and they only take cash, but it's SO worth it! Their croissants are simply to die for!!
The restaurant is always clean and their services are at the top of the lane. Recommended.
Just the best if it's the fresh squeezed orange juice the perfect crepes or a wonderful bakery item this place can't be beat. Bring your cash or use the atm at this place it's cash only.
This is wonderful place to go and get amazing food.
This place is absolutely amazing!! The service is incredible and the food is absolutely delicious! I love the environment and its so beautiful and quaint. Ive only been here once but I would go again any day. Definitely 10/10
The best pastries in Fort Collins, hands down. The owner/chef is a true master. I've never had anything here that wasn't great. My personal favorite are the gallettes, especially the savory options with spinach and meats. I've taken groups there aging from 3 to 65 and everyone has found something to love. Plus, no one can turn down a perfect macaron or croissant for dessert! (Pastry photographed at home, so the presentation isn't as nice as it could be, but the flavor is all there!) Last notes: parking can be tricky, so carpool if you can AND this restaurant is cash-only, so be prepared.
This place is incredible. I can understand why it's so crowded and hard to find parking. Normally I'd consider that a significant drawback, but this place is definitely good enough to be worth parking a few streets over.
Excellent pastries, probably the best croissant I've had in the US. Lovely outside spaces.
The sweetest breakfast in town. Best Beignets in the state. Just remember it's cash only.
Absolutely fantastic food and pastries. We got Cocotte Brioche with crab and Hollandaise sauce and Rooster Burrito. Both were completely out of this world. Definitely the best Hollandaise sauce I've ever had in my travels to French bistros. Prices incredibly reasonable as well. This will be our usual stop on our way to Denver from now on.
Great food and service. The wait time was a little longer than expected. When I asked if they had outdoor seating the greeter responded saying yes but were not opening because the kitchen staff was new and they did not want to overload them. It is a holiday weekend.
Great food and baked goods.
Good service...great array of menu choices...food very tasty...enjoyable experience...downside is they don't take reservations and the wait is lengthy !
Absolutely amazing desserts! Lizzie is an absolute sweetheart. I will 100% be back for more of the delicious pastries.
Incredible baked goods. Fresh yummy. The butter from Brittany and the raspberry jam are to die for.
Another wonderful cake from Claude! Not only were the decorations superb, but the chocolate strawberry flavor was delicious. Bravo et merci.
