Amazing ambiance, great people, lovely service, delicious everything!

Food is good, not great, but service and attitude of owner ruin the experience. The goal is to get as many people through and turn tables as fast as possible. We have eaten there several times, but the last 2 times the owner came to our table within 1 minute of receiving the check and asking us to leave and move to the over crowded bar. ruined the otherwise okay experience

Does Lance "it's time to play by the rules" Armstrong still use this place?

Late dinner,no reservations, so dinner at the bar. Bartenders and very friendly and attentive. I had the beef tartare and steamed jasmine rice. One tiny complaint was the music was a tad loud in the bar. Im not usually a complainer but there were 3 of us and it was difficult to keep a conversation

You can't go wrong with this place, other than forgetting reservations! Every dish will be guaranteed as the best _______ ever! You can also just go there for the bar, but the food is off the chart! Very romantic place!

Best restaurant in Aspen. No question.

Decent place. Was little turned off by previous reviews about the owner's behavior. Luckily when we went the staff was very nice and accommodated us even without reservation by a small table next to the bar. If you do not want to watch other people butts, I suggest to make reservation ahead:-) Food was ok, not divine., nothing to come back for.

Frank Shamrock

Extensive menu and wine list. The chocolate mousse parfait a meal in itself!

I would say, this is Aspen's premier restaurant. Matsuhisa is my favorite restaurant in Aspen, but this is a very close second. Top notch, French/American fare that will dazzle your palate, engage your senses and leave you blissfully satisfied. The menu changes regularly and their specials & wine lists are BEYOND! I also recommend having a drink or dinner at the bar.

The food is great, but the owner is extremely rude with an excuse for everything. There are plenty of other fine dining restaurants in the area. Go to them

I can't imagine where these negative reviews come from. We live in the Roaring Fork Valley and have eaten at this place many, many times. The food is consistently outstanding. In fact. we have eaten at almost every restaurant in Aspen, and this is easily the best one, and would easily compete with the best restaunts in NYC or San Francisco. The food and service is always flawless. Chris Lanter is an amazing chef. I would highly recommend it.

Rob O'Connor

Fantastic service, great atmosphere, but most of all, OUTSTANDING food! Try the pork tenderloin and the frisee salad... :)

Salmon tartare was awesome. Trout was delish, steak was just ok... Good music and cool bar, however, the bartender kept giving me the check just because i was pacing my drink orders, it was annoying.

Cache Cache is amazing. Another top Aspen restaurant pick that you can never go wrong with, unless you don't have a reservation in high season or are on a budget. The bar is fantastic as is the service. The wine list is pretty outstanding as is the food. The location is so beautiful! Whether you're local or visiting Aspen, this place is phenomenal.

Cynthia Archer

Always great!

We had such a great time at dinner. The food was very good and they had a nice wine list to pick from. I would say this is the best place in Aspen.

I worked as a concierge at the Ritz-Carlton Club Aspen Highlands for about 4 years from 2007-2011 and tried every restaurant in town. This is by far the best restaurant I have EVER been to in my entire life. That is all.

Loren Pearson

Best food in town. The bar is a good option for a light dinner and drinks but you are going to have to fight for a place and for the bartender's attention.

Always memorable. Norm is the best

Delicious combination of French and some Italian

Arrogant and hurried service. For a very expensive restaurant (sirloin steak priced at $75), this was a very underwhelming experience.

Terrible food and service, can't believe anyone can stomach their food. I mean with so many places to eat in Aspen, why would you go here!?

Beverly Nichols

So warm with a great wine list. There is a lot of bad food in ski towns and most is over priced. Cache cache was so good that in a four day span we came back. Perfect banquettes to sink your tired ski legs into while you enjoy delicious food in flattering light.

Not bad but....ate at the bar. Service was horrific. Bartender would routinely walk over, say something, to which I would often reply I cannot hear you. So he would walk away. Seriously? Food was solid. Not great. About what you could get in the prepared food section of whole foods

James Stasi

Very good French

Awesome Aspen dining. Jodi has been pulling it off for 29 years and counting!

I cannot even begin to explain how wonderful this restaurant is. The food is simply spectacular, the setting beautiful and the ambiance... a cool vibe. Love It!

Are you serious? Coming from Montreal where we have innovative delicious food, quite shocking that this restaurant is so highly rated. Tasteless Caesar salad, fried breaded over cooked trout, plates loaded with chicken and fries, very unimpressive. Àll this for $$$$$$

Randy Meyers

Great sitting at bar

We were very disappointed with Cache Cache. My wife's food (the scallops and salmon) were good but my entree of pork was dry and bland. Overall the food was acceptable. The service we received was not up to the standard we expected of such a restaurant. Our waiter did not explain anything about the menu. When he was asked for about some menu items was reluctant to answer and when asked about the wine said he would have the sommelier come to the table all the time maintaining a blank disinterested look on his face. The sommelier never arrived and we chose a wine ourselves. The waiter dripped my pre dinner drink across the table and not once refilled our wine. We attend to the wine ourselves. The waiter who poured our first glass of wine (not the sommelier who seemed more interested in talking his friends/regulars at other tables) dripped it on the table. When I dropped my napkin the bus boy took it away and said he would get me another but did not until I asked for it. Within 60 seconds of our entree plates were taken away we were presented with the dessert/coffee menu which gave us distinct impression that they were trying to rush us out. We were more than happy to oblige. I can not recommend this restaurant and for overall experience I found it poor value.
