This Restaurant corresponds to the category of French restaurant.
I love, LOVED Bistro Vendôme. It’s a great and delicious French restaurant. When I go here, I love getting the Bouillabaisse. It is absolutely delicious! If you ever in Larimer square, make sure to go check them out. The decor inside the restaurant is beautiful as well.
Looking for French Cuisine? Look no further. This place is fantastic, the Chef is super friendly and so is the staff. Reasonably priced for what it is, but make a reservation. You might feel like this is an upscale restaurant but I've never been looked down upon walking in with Basketball shorts and a T-shirt on (I like to dress comfortably). Duck Confit.... Highly recommended unless they've taken it off their menu by chance. Quaint and cozy too; wonderful place to take a date ;)
Great happy hour from 3-6
Charming. Staff is nice, food is good.
Romantic for a couple but also casual enough if needed, great food and atmosphere
Amazing restaurant, great food, and a late dinner on the patio feels more like New Orleans than Denver.
Outstanding meal. Well-paced, well served and well-executed dishes. I cannot recommend it higher.
Exceptional food. Perfect for a romantic dinner.
Awesome food! Excellent service, great atmosphere! Excellent for a romantic meal!
Should be a zero star. We get sat at a table got our drinks and was getting ready to order when we were told that 5 out of the 8 entrees were not able to make. Including a burger and a crepe.
Such a great place for amazing food and service. This is a great place for date night or a dinner before a show! Loved it!
French food and the setting here is super good. don't fret if it's busy, it is worth the wait. definitely worth going back to. the bill was good for what you get. food and feeling reminds me of kansas city.
Bistro Vendome is a stylishly elegant and delicious place to eat. The food is wonderful, and we normally wind up ordering the Steak Tartare for appetizers and some unique desserts. All of the food and the restaurant itself reflects French culture. It is always such a joyful experience, and we go whenever we can!
This place really is magical. Not to follow all of the 'you'll feel like you're in Paris' talk but it's true, this place is on a similar culinary tier as any solid Parisian spot. We had an awesome birthday celebration on a bustling Saturday night and felt taken care of the whole time. The French onion soup was fantastic and steak tar tare was complex and intriguing. Can't wait to return when the patio is open during warmer months. Pretty darn good cocktails as well, not to mention the mini French press coffee at the table.
The food was amazing except you could mortality wound someone with the bread it was so hard!!! The waiter would have gotten a better tip if he didn't have an additude after I asked for a dessert menu.
Delicious! My husband & I come here for special occasions. Food is rich, but perfect. Leave room for coffee & dessert! Love the ambience inside & when weather is nice - patio. Staff are always so courteous & helpful. Take your time here, enjoy, be leisurely, & pretend you're in France.
Great food, and romantic setting.
Good service! But, if you ever tried escargot and tartar in France. Well. It’s different...
Best stesk and frites in Denver. Great bartender and awesome patio. Great for dates, groups, and family.
The scallops were fabulous!
Always great! One of the best restaurants in Denver! Superb food, great service and wonderful atmosphere.
Best French food ❣️ duck is excellent , dessert and coffee , perfect.
Great place for dinner in Lodo. Very good food, ambience and service. I hear it's great for breakfast too and will certainly give it a try.
Always amazing pick what ever you want it will be awesome. The champagne frites are also an extra bonus.
I'll never go back. Poor service and way to high priced for what you get
Wonderful authentic french fair in a gorgeous location in the heart of Denver! Service and food was top notch. We had their quiche Lorraine and assorted pastries for brunch on their charming terrace. All topped off with their french-press coffee. What a find for this traveling New Englander!
Excellent spot! Very good food, moderately priced (for the neighborhood), decent wine selection. Some of the wait staff could be a little better but they work well as a team. Go on a Sunday evening for half priced bottles of wine. The servings are "European" sized so you will likely need (want) to do multiple courses.
Really good place to grab French food. They got fresh mussels from Canada this week.
Enjoyed not only the food but the sous chef, Becca. Joe was ok and fun too! Thank you!
Great place for weekend brunch
This is the most authentic French food I've found in the greater Denver area. Their Steak Frites are my regular, but the duck and other entrées are delicious. The onion soup is wonderful, the pate is great, and they'll bring around an amuse bouche that will be amazing, I promise. Don't be afraid to have a full four to five course meal! All of the deserts are well worth the calories. Dress ranges from Business Casual to cocktail, and expect to spend at least 90 minutes. The wait isn't long, but it's a leisurely dining experience.
This is a must visit and dine while in Denver! We will come back! Parigian food, great happy hour 1/2 off any wine by glass and appetizers. Our server was very good and sitting in the patio is very romantic and relaxing.
Had Sunday Brunch and it was superb. French press at the table, menu had sweet + savory. Always get the beignets!
A beautiful place in the heart of Larimer Square with fantastic food and drinks!
Lovely food, relaxed setting. Service was good.
Great food and service. Good place for a meal before a night at DPAC.
The food was amazing. Salami plate was solid, the chicken crepe appetizer was wonderful as well. The main dish of chickpea cake was an absolute delight with the roasted vegetables. Our server was quite nice, but the time it took to be seated (Not her fault), the time it took to be served after orders were placed....it just took too long and no one in our party of 10 was looking for a one-hour meal. We just didn't plan on spending 2.5 hours there.
Food was over salted.
Such a perfect little spot nestled in charming Larimer Square. I’ve only visited for brunch and it was delightful, had a croque madame that dreams are made of! At first the egg was undercooked and they took it back no problem and made it to my liking. The atmosphere is so quaint and charming and would be a lovely date spot. They offer a great blood orange mimosa that is so delicious. I cannot wait to return for dinner and they also offer a daily happy hour which looks amazing!
Was visiting Denver for our anniversary. Was looking for a nice place for dinner and found this place. The hostess greeted up with a nice Happy Anniversary when we checked in. The wait staff was friendly and helpful with the items on the menu and wine. The food was amazing. If I ever come back to Denver, I'd make sure to come back to this place.
Super disappointed!!! We used to come here all the time, we just moved back to Denver and we were so excited to come back to Bistro Vendome again. After we ordered our drinks, they told us they we out of the Quiche du Jour, Salmon avocado toast and wait for it... Crepes du Jour! Of course those were the 3 items we were all (4ppl) eyeing. We reluctantly ordered other dishes, excited to try some new dishes on they’re menu. I asked if the omelette was big enough to share and was informed it was very fluffy and could be shared if we ordered a side (we did). The omelette was the size of one small crepe, definitely not a sharing item. Our son ordered a burger (another menu item they did not have, we’re at 5 items now), they offered their dinner burger. Our son was excited to try the dinner burger. Waiter comes back after several minutes and they were out of that burger! Aiyaiyai!! He improvised with the omelette and it obviously wasn’t going to be enough for a 23 year old guy. Needless to say, we were all disappointed for spending $70 for appetizers.
Wonderfully quaint french bistro tucked into a cute courtyard just off Larimer St. We only had a desert at the bar but it was 10/10 delish! We would have loved to try dinner is we had time on our visit.
Good fondue. The steak however was very bland.
It was our first time there, and we absolutely loved the patio. The ambience was just perfect, it felt like as if we were somewhere in Europe chilling outside. We just went there for quick drinks, and I was a bit disappointed with my drink, but the waitress I believe her name was Brandy, was super nice. She asked if we liked it and realized I wasnt feeling mine, so they got me a new drink that was way better! That was kind of them to do. I enjoyed the hospitality, and the decor - lights on that tree are beautiful at night.
Our family dinner was a delight! I especially recommend the chicken and the duck, but if you're not found of meat, you'll love the panisse hivernale! It is also kids friendly and the service is great (some even speak French!). Enjoy!
Delicious food, fantastic atmosphere and even better service. My girlfriend and I decided to come here on our anniversary and we are very happy we did! Everyone was extremely pleasant and attentive. Adam was our main server and made the experience wonderful. Thanks for great addition to our anniversary!
Food was good. Nice waiter and venue. A great place for a nice date. Cost was a bit high with most entrees costing around $25.
Food and atmosphere are incredible! Waitstaff has for the most part been excellent except for our last visit. Our main waiter made us feel invisible.... will be back again to give it another chance because it’s like stepping back to France. One recommendation would be to have French music playing in the background instead of “today’s hits” or maybe even have live music in the courtyard in good weather?
Neat atmosphere, french cuisine. Service was excellent. Food wasn't really my style but that's ok.
Very good french cuisine. Lovely choice of wines. Excellent service. Making a reservation is a must.
The pork chop is thick, so ask for a deeper doneness. Atmosphere in the yard is nice.
Nice ambiance, good happy hour selection
We celebrated our anniversary here, and the food was excellent, as was the service. Not a cheap restaurant, but perfect for our special occasion.
Good food, crowded, but service was quick
Staff was so knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely lgbt friendly. Also the food tasted amazing! Ia will definitely come back, and im definitely getting the french fries and grilled asparagus again.
Great service and excellent dishes
Had such a great date night here, the space feels the closest thing to France in Denver, half off bottles on monday.....all the dishes were great and it was just a great experience. Started with the: Escargot imported Burgundy snails, Pernod-fennel butter, fines herbes, brioche , very good and really liked the breadcrumbs to give it that crisp, next we had the Steak Tartare aioli, Dijon mustard, capers, shallots, quail egg, grilled baguette* also very good, very good texture and flavor, the egg makes the dish. We split the Bouillabaisse saffron broth, prawns, mussels, clams, spring onions, English peas, rouille toasted baguette, herbs, which was outrageous and full of flavor, we ended the meal with coffee and a Chocolate Soufflé vanilla bean crème anglaise, just wonderful
Great meal and service. Got lucky and was able to eat outside. Started with a complementary Vichyssoise - really good. Also enjoyed some fresh bread. Had mussels as an appetizer - the sauce was fantastic. For the main, had the classic steak frites. The frites were amazing. Service was great throughout.
Terrific French food without pretense. Service and ambiance were both outstanding! Reasonable prices for what it is too!
It was a ton of fun with a really excellent server, but for prices and reputation i was a little let down. Food was great, but not the best date night I've ever been to. The chef's complimentary dish was a lot of fun and obviously technically executed well, just not to my taste. Super fun to try something outside the box though!
Loved the atmosphere and food, tucked away and feels like you are truly experience the French countryside eating in their private garden area.
I ate here alone. I would expect slow service if I was dinning with someone but not alone. No one even came to get my drink order. Finally a server came, I ordered coffee and an omelette, the omelette came before the coffee. I was half way through eating before the coffee got here. The outdoor seating is beautiful, other than slow the service was great. The omelette was ok, the coffee was very good.
Went here for our anniversary and am so glad we went here. Amazing staff, great food, lovely atmosphere.
It's a good if you have 3 hours and don't care to be seated for at least 30 minutes. My food came out cold.
Great service and food.
A romantic French Bistro that isnj st perfect for date night. Had a great meal with charcuterie, stuffed quail and a decedent souffle for dessert. The staff was fantastic especially our waitress whowas very knowledgeable, friendly and had some great recommendations. Next time we are in Denver we will be back!
A lovely French restaurant! We tried a little bit of everything they had to offer. If you’re new to French food and a little nervous try the poulet roti. If you’re more adventurous try the duck! The liver mousse was absolutely amazing! My only small sadness was the escargot, it was ok, not great. However, everything else was quite fantastic. Try a few different desserts! Try everything! Try it all!!!
Excellent service. Adam is a very informed bartender and answered all my questions about mixed drinks, etc. Loved the scallops, the halibut, and chocolate souffle. Will be back to dine outside again.
One of my top spots for delicious French food. it's so savory. i'll return with my relatives. bring your appetite because portions are generous. feels similar to a cafe in chicago i loved.
An absolutely wonderful experience. They are kind, welcoming and serve delicious food. Everyone we encounter is happy to see us and it's always such a big delight. We frequent this restaurant for most major holidays and events and they never disappoint. Can't wait to go back!
I always love this place! Their steak frites are amazing and everyone is always friendly!
Excellent food and service. Will return when we have more time to enjoy
Had an amazing date night here. Great service and delicious food!
An excellent, tucked away gem. The service is always exceptional and food is to die for. My go-to place for a nice dinner.
Amazing atmosphere and even better food!!
Devine service! Couldn't get enough of the food and dessert.
This was an incredible meal with a great staff
We met a friend for dinner. The setting is great, in a courtyard well off busy Larimer Street, and with a nice terrace that must be nice when the weather is good. The weather was very cold when we went, so the warm tones inside set the right mood for the poor weather outside. I tried the escargots, and my friend and I split orders of sauteed scallops and steak frites. The food was excellent overall, although the escargots were not served piping hot, as I like them. The scallops were tender and perfectly cooked, and the steak likewise so. The service was excellent.
A very sophisticated and friendly restaurant. We had a group of 5, who wanted to talk more than eat. The wait staff was very patient and accommodating! If you want the chicken please know that it takes 30 minutes. Your colleagues may be eating before you! The bread was warm and delicious. The meal was beautifully presented! We Jared desserts which were delightful to behold as they were to consume.
This is my go to spot for any special occasion. On my girlfriend's last birthday, I booked a table here through Open Table and the staff of Bistro Vendôme knocked it out of the park with things to make her night special. We were seated in a perfect little secluded corner table, on which they had put some flowers to mark the occasion. After a scrumptious steak frites for both of us, and equally wonderful cocktails, our server shocked us by including two desserts for us at the price of one. My girlfriend was even given a staff signed card including special discounts/deals for future visits. What an incredible night and amazing service. Bistro Vendôme and their entire staff will go so far out of their way to make your special occasion truly feel special. The food is incredible, and service is second to none here. Best French restaurant in the city.
Cute, cozy bistro with fantastic food and amazing service. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Lovely dinner with the four men in my life, post play performance. All were delighted with what they originally thought would be fussy french food. Consider them all converted!
We Love this place. Tonite they were a little off. Service was not prompt, we were a bit disappointed.
Lovely little restaurant with an amazing patio! The staff was very warm and friendly (bartender was awesome!)
Everything was perfect!
Delicious duck, great service
My favorite french restaurant. They do it well in a relaxed but classic style. Definitely get the steak frites (specially the frites)!
We brought two 1 year olds, and they accommodated us very thoughtfully. We enjoyed the meal (excellent confit) and great wine selection. Our kids enjoyed escargot and the French onion soup. If you want authentic French food in a classy, cozy environment, this is the place.
Extraordinary! The pork chop, new to the menu, is simply incredible.
Absolutely had a fabulous birthday celebration there, the food was amazing the service was over the top and the selections of wines were wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone
Great food. It is expensive. Took almost three hours to eat. The waiter was just ok
Good atmosphere, good flavors, but probably the smallest "duck confit" leg i have ever had!
Absolutely delicious food and excellent service. The trout was amazing! A few things on the menu that weren't our favorites, but overall would definitely recommend!
This place is excellent!!! The food is amazing and the ambience is super nice and relax. I recommend to make a reservation before( Is common they don't have tables available when you get there )
Has been amazing Everytime we go there. Highly recommended
Absolutely love this place!!! Went there first time last year for our anniversary than yesterday 4/20/2018 for friends bday who came in town from Florida! I have nothing. But great things to say about this place! The food is fresh, juicy, tasty, it’s perfect!!! Spending $300 was worth it! All around! MG
It’s my favorite restaurant in Denver. The staff is very accommodating and the environment is cozy and beautiful. The duck is my favorite and the Port offered is my favorite dessert ❣️
Been around the world and aye yi yi.... this is my favorite French bistro... Bar none! UPDATE: I wrote the above review under the influence of one of the best bartenders in Denver. I warn you - if you go here prepare to have an amazing meal and drink service that will make you cry!
Lovely. The food was excellent. Get some of the chesses! Wine selection was great. Definitely will be back.
4.00 on a Saturday afternoon with only 2 people on the patio, it was apparently not possible to seat a party of 9 mature women seeking wine and possibly a meal. They were not able to put tables together, even after a call to the manager. So we went a few doors down where we were accommodated with speed and great service.
Absolutely wonderful! Chef Jen is a consummate delicatoure! The food was stellar, the service warm and friendly, and the atmosphere was perfectly French! Thank you, thank you!!!
Delicious food, great service and and good prices! Reminds me of some of the best restaurants I've been to in Paris!
A little slice of the 6th Arrondissement in Denver.
This place had great happy hours!
Great meal, nice atmosphere Left off one star when they brought out our entree before we had even finished our apps. Food was fantastic though. Do not miss the Creme Brulee!!
The only reason I don’t have 5 stars is price. Like many places in denver at the upper end of the food market, they really push it here with their prices — particularly on the wine list. THAT SAID: This is a fantastic restaurant and amongst the best I’ve been to for traditional French cuisine. We had a very traditional spread, Moules, a cheese board, escargot and a roast chicken dish. No surprises - just well executed French food. Decor was a bit cramped but charming and service was attentive. Our reservation was ready for us when we arrived on a busy Saturday evening. Would recommend, just realize that it’s not value oriented.
Escargot and frites are the best frankly in the world and the duck was amazing the whole fish as Well Services also amazing as well thank you Beth thank you Jen always love your spots
We just keep coming back... steak frites is amazing, so is sitting in the patio, very intimate and away from the street. A bit of a wait for our entrees but they were very nice and reduced our final bill because of it. We'll be back!
The food was excellent, including a vegetarian entree made of chickpeas and fresh vegetables. Good drinks. We went once as part of a private party, though when we tried to return another night there was a long wait, so reservations definitely recommended.
Very charming delicious food, the staff is just Amazing ... Great selection of wine.
This is an excellent choice for French food. Highly recommend!
I visited this wonderful little hidden jewel of a restaurant with Victoria Price, the daughter of horror star Vincent Price on the occasion of the relaunch by Ms. Price of her father's famous cookbook, "A Treasury of Great Recipes." Every item served during the multi-course dinner came directly from the book, even the hors d'oeuvres. If you live in Denver, or are even just visiting, I strongly suggest taking the time to have a meal there and just enjoy the wonderful food and the relaxing air. My only regret was my not being able to indulge in the drinks, due to medications I was on (no alcohol allowed.) EDIT: One thing I should have included in this review was, when I informed them I couldn't have any alcohol, the staff immediately offered me Perrier bottled water, and insisted it was on the house. That's above and beyond the call, right there.
One of the best meals and dining experiences that I've had in Denver since I arrived in 2007. Vendome has been around since then and proves to be time tested. The wait staff was knowledgeable about the wines and the food was exquisite. Plan your next big meal out here. And plan to return shortly after. I know I did.
Good atmosphere, great service.
The wait staff was fantastic! We were very concerned after our appetizer was cold, and after taking it back to warn it it was only just above room temperature. They did take it off out check though and the rest of the meal was fantastic.
Very romantic scenery, friendly staff and amazing French food! I went here with my out-of-town boss and he was so in love with this place that he skipped drinks with his friend just to stay longer.
We had a large group and the service and food was outstanding.
Love it! Best traditional French bistro you’ll find in Denver and all of Colorado. Order anything, you can’t go wrong. CAUTION: The sticky, savory and sweet herbs d’provence frites will become addictive.
Your typical overpriced restaurant in Denver. Went for drinks and appetizers. The drinks were not great but still expensive. The appetizers were honestly disgusting. We ordered the liver mousse and it tasted like when you throw up in your mouth a little and have that bile aftertaste. I could still taste it after I brushed my teeth.
Came here for an anniversary and had an amazing time. They have a wide variety of wines and their food was incredibly delicious. Has a very nice location next to an antique store and the overall vibe of the restaurant is very lively!
This might be the best food I’ve eaten in the Greater Denver Area. After years, who knew there was such an amazing French kitchen hiding in Larimer square. It has been in my list for years and I feel like we’ve lost so much time we could have been eating there! Alright, to the food: the chicken crepe was incredible. The father in law ordered it and I split it per his request, didn’t even want it that much when it hit the table, tried it, easily the best savory crepe I’ve ever had. I didn’t try them much in France so grain of salt added, but it truly was. Also had an amazing French onion soup with it. I had the crispy duck and only tried the pork as mains. I felt like the duck won the day, but the table was split on that versus the pork, so they really hit home runs with both. Wine couldn’t have been more on point either. There was so much more - but alas this review is too long already. The blueberry tart dessert couldn’t have been a better way to finish. Honestly the best meal I’ve ever had in the city. Can’t say enough, as Bistro Vendome is now the date night favorite for the wife and I....we couldn’t be happier.
The atmosphere was excellent. I went with my girlfriend and we had great service and great food, which made the celebration that much more enjoyable.
Amazing food and staff!
Wonderful brunch. It feels like a little slice of France in downtown Denver. It's tucked away in a little courtyard, so you really don't feel like you're in Larimer Square at all. I'm a big fan of French food, and I was extremely happy with my meal. Can't wait to come back for their dinner menu.
The food was well worth the price of admission. Will go back again.
Delicious! The burger was so well seasoned and cooked. The way they make the fries is good. That was my favorite part about the meal. My lady said she really enjoyed the French toast (goes by a fancy name, which is cool). Plus the environment is chill and calm. Love the aesthetic and the waiters. Definitely hope to go back before moving. I recommend someone try it at least once.
Food and service were excellent. My mother raved about the duck. We had the chicken and mellon salad which were both wonderfully prepared. A few pieces of advice: play music that matches the setting. Jimi Hendrix does not belong in a romantic courtyard. Candles on the tables would be a nice addition as well.
Late midweek dinner for 4. My companions loved their wine, and my drink was fine. Although undersized, the salmon was fantastic, as was the carrot dish. We all agreed that the salmon was near perfect. Recognizing that the salmon portion was small, though, and sorry that they were out of something else we wanted to order, they comped the wine. The desserts were stellar. Well done!
Best steak in Denver excellent service
I went there last night to propose to my girlfriend. The managers were so accomodating and gave us the best seat for the perfect setting. the ambience is amazing the food was fantastic and the customer service was top notch . The manager I spoke with to make my reservation made sure we could have tables on the patio. Highly recommend this place for everything it has to offer! Perfect evening with great food and the patio outback is the perfect atmosphere. I will return every year on that date to celebrate such a wonderful evening I cant say enough positive about this restaurant its perfect!
Even though there was no chocolate souffle tonight, everything else made up for it. Food was excellent as always and staff is above and beyond for service and knowledgability. One of our favorites in CO, highly recommend!
I just love the food here. Great service and a nice atmosphere that is well suited to good conversation.
Sorry. But if you’re putting yourself out there as a French bistro you should adhere to some standards. I ordered escargot. They didn’t even know how to serve it. It had obviously been frozen for weeks. Tough as leather. And they topped it with crumbled crackers. This is a poseur French restaurant in a cowtown. Avoid.
We stumbled upon this place when walking around Larimer Square! It has the perfect little courtyard. We stopped in for some mussels and wine and were not disappointed! We will definitely be back for happy hour and the dinner menu!
Lovely brunch!
Went for brunch for my birthday. This place is excellent. Food, atmosphere, drinks , It was all delicious. I'll be going back.100%
Delicious food, great atmosphere, on first visit I ordered THE classic Steak Frites, very good! A rain storm broke we had to get to cover. The staff handled it well. A favorite of others in the family.
Expensive but worth it! Very good!! Small and intimate.
I was very disappointed in the attitude of the bartender last evening. we had gone in to have dinner at the bar after being rained out of the al fresco. 4 women one 28 and 3 over 50. She ignored us for quite some time talking to another employee .My daughter said can we order and she looked at us and huffed like we were putting her out. We were the only ones at the bar at that time. She proceeded to ask for our id's and one woman clearly over 55 did not have hers with her.The bartender said "I won't serve you". Although I understand that younger people need to be verified, please have some common sense. She was extremely rude and nasty to us. End result, we got up and walked out and we could have made her night. it was the first time my daughter had been then and she loved the ambiance and was excited for the food as i had told her how good it was. Not sure if she will ever go back. Not sure i will either.
Amazing food.
Fabulous French feast! We shared the 4 charcuterie apps, plus steak tartare to start. I had chickpea-leek cakes (unreal!) for my main course. Finished up sharing several desserts - creme brulee was excellent. What a treat!
Food was awesome, service was slow and not as attentive as we wished. Will go back to give it another chance , hopefully better service next time.
The sparkling Rose is the best. The patio becomes magical in the early evening.
We came out to celebrate two birthdays, so we decided to go all out and had cocktails, wine, cheese, 3 appetizers, entrees, and shared 3 desserts. We spent two hours working our way through it all, and everything we tried was delicious. Our server Rachel was amazing, even though it was a lot of food she paced it perfectly so we managed to get through it all. Some of the highlights were the steak tartar, the escargot, and the meringue (the dessert wine suggested with it was perfect!). Their attention to detail really made the experience. 10/10
Not impressed. I expected an upscale restaurant to be on the expensive side but for this high of a price I would expect food quality and service to be first class and they were not. We sat for about 20 minutes before our server came. I ordered the confit de canard (duck leg). The sides were very small. Just a few bites of potato and vegetable. The duck I found to be dry and generally unremarkable with no seasoning to speak of. Atmosphere was very nice, however, which earns them 3 stars from me.
I had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection
Very authentic French dining experience. Great French press coffee, nice menu choices for brunch.
Food was good! Prices were overrated! Service was great! Very nice space
This is a great French restaurant in the Square. Has that feel of a family restaurant and the food is very good. Service was great and the wine list is pretty extensive you will need to look through to find the right price bottle for you.
Authentic wonderful French good!
Great food. Great service. Wonderful atmosphere, Perfect!
Excellent food, service, and ambience. A little pricey, but with it for a great dining experience
Truly French Bistro in the middle of Downtown Denver. Beautifully decorated, it has cozy atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We came at about 4 p.m. and were pleased to find out that the happy hour started. For $8 only I had a really tasty grilled cheese sandwich accompanied with a glass of champagne. It's one of my favorite places and I'll definitely be back!
Attended a group dinner here, so didn't get to experience the full menu...but what we did have was delicious! Just can't go five stars with a limited dining experience.
Hidden gem that I am almost afraid to tell people about. Love the atmosphere and people, not to mention the food.
Disclaimer: I’ve only had the happy hour dishes so far, not a full dinner. I really like this place. The outdoor space, when weather allows, is very nice. The staff is helpful and just attentive enough without being clinging. The food can be quite rich, but is very good. Half price on glasses of wine during happy hour is a pretty good deal.
Everything was delicious. I had the Poulet Rôti, pan roasted chicken. It was delicious. Everyone enjoyed the food. The escargot was spot on. The buttery sauce from the escargot made an excellent dip for the bread. Ambiance and setting was lovely
First off, I wasn't looking forward to this dinner as I'm not a fan of French food. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how great it was. I can honestly say, it exceeded my expectations and we will return.
