This Restaurant belongs to the category of American restaurant.
Professional and friendly waitress. I was surprised to see Great Lakes Walleye on the menu. It was very good. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
Maybe best chicken wings in foco, all the meat is so moist and cooked to perfection
Menu felt a little limited for locale, but excellent preparation and good service.
Great service, good and interesting food, awesome location in the heart of Old Town. If only parking was a little easier...
Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing. The hot artechoke dip was the best I've ever had, my steak was seasoned perfectly and seared just right, and the fries were just crispy enough to be satisfying but still moist enough to be enjoyable. Our entire dinner was perfect and I highly recommend eating here!
Great prime rib and everything else is pretty decent as well.
They serve Cheese soup made with Fat Tire beer. And ... They have popcorn for soup. Nice
My wife and I went here on a beautiful Sunday summer evening. We had the burger and a harvest salad, and we enjoyed both, but both dishes were nothing special, and the ambiance feels the same. Solid, nothing wrong with it, just nothing pops as unique or better than other places in Old Town.
This place was absolutely packed, now I know why! Everything on the menu looks amazing. The portions are great and everything is locally sourced. Our meals were delicious! The steak was fabulous and the seasonal veggies cooked perfectly. Their beer cheese soup was tasty and the key lime pie devine! It's worth the wait to get in. No need to stick around, they text you when your table is ready. Wait time varies, so go ahead and explore the downtown area!
Pretty good food, with great service! Nice waiters too!
Great atmosphere if you are looking for an alternative to traditional college fare. Enjoyed three appetizers and drinks and found myself impressed with all of the above both in terms of taste and creativity. Particularly enjoyed the brussel sprouts and thr Blue Goose martini. Servers were courteous and went above and beyond to ensure complete satisfaction.
Great Old Town location! Good food and service. Our server was super helpful, getting us a table inside after it got cold on the patio
Not very fancy. Maybe God for a first date
Great food, good service. Perfect end to a great day with the best company ever. Thank you husband, you are loved
Exellent service and Exellent service!
Good food, great service. Nice, relaxing atmosphere. I love Austin's. Try the tasty Beer Battered Walleye, hearty n amazing Chicken Chili, great bacon cheeseburgers, fall off the bone ribs, and don't forget Happy Hour for cheaper food and drinks! Different menus for lunch, happy hour, dinner.... but all are similar.
Very good.. Great staff, excellent service and the food was amazing!
We had a party of five and everyone loved their food. My only complaint was my half rack of ribs were a bit dry, but the rotisserie chicken was fabulous.
Enjoyable atmosphere, can get loud when busy. Food is good, however not exceptional. Overall a good experience and recommended.
Delicious food! More expensive than I would like, and busy like you would expect an Old Town location to be. Happy hour has cheaper food options, and it’s great to go there with a bunch of people to try several different foods community style. I especially liked the ribs, which are available during happy hour. There was also a rich French toast during Sunday brunch time that was basically a shortcake. It was very sweet, but was delicious!
Had a nice lunch at an outdoor table, good cornbread!
My favorite go to restaurant. I always get a baked potato and side salad with my roasted chicken and it never disappoints. Highly recommended!
All around this place was good. Good food, prices, service. We did not wait more than 10 minutes for our appetizer or entre. We had the corn bread , prime rib and slow roasted sirloin . We had the garlic potatoes as a side. It was all very good. My only wish was that my prime rib was cooked a little more but this isn't your standard prime rib folks! This was a large chunk of meat. So I'd suggest if your gonna order the prime rib just order a level above what youd normally do. I think if I ordered it medium instead of medium rare it would have been perfect . Definately worth checking out if you are in the area !
Great food, very expensive though. I guess I should've known going into it.
The rotisserie sirloin was pretty good and so was the garlic mashers. Waitress was very nice. I like her.
Classy :) this has always been a good place to go
Okay service. Meatloaf and mashed potatoes were room temperature and could tell say under a heat lamp for some time before coming to the table.
Great ambiance. Good service. Very good food.
An amazing restaurant in this beautiful city. I ordered the ribs and they were the best I have ever had. They literally fall off the bone! Food is full of flavor and the meats are moist. The interior of the restaurant is well decorated and is classy enough to impress your in-laws but casual enough to not need to dress up. I will be coming back!
Prime rib and Bison steak were amazing. 5$ tap beers for happy hour, that runs until 6 on most weekdays. Will be returning!
Good food, great wine list and the Black and White Bean chicken soup was fabulous.
Great food and service! Visited for brunch on Sunday and it was fantastic. We got in quickly and service was on point. Great place to avoid the crowds of people on Sunday morning.
Best happy hour in town.
Had lunch here but chose an appetizer because it was two avocado halves filled with crab salad and flash deep fried. OMG! Crunchy on the outside and cool and creamy on the inside. A glass of rose made it the perfect meal. The avocado appetizer was about $12.95. Hubby had a big salad with rotisserie chicken and blue cheese vinaigrette dressing, it was great. Menu was very good and had gluten-free options.
Great food AND customer service. I'm not a local to Fort Collins but this restaurants environment is great.
Went to Austins for a nice sit down late lunch. Waited over 10 min in an empty establishment, never got served even water. On the way out wait staff was laughing in kitchen opening and looking on phones. Hire people that can do their job. Wish I could give zero stars.
Clean and good service. The prices aren't too bad and the environment is pleasant. Parking can be a bit of a hassle. The Bison burger here is one of the best burgers I've ever had.
Austin's has been our Go To place for lunch and dinner with friends and for just a delicious night out for just the two of us. We have never had a meal that we had to send back or would not recommend. Our favorites are the their buffalo salads and prime rib dinners. Their rotisserie chicken is legendary. They have a great menu and the service is top notch. Time spent at Austin's is time well spent.
Delicious prime rib sandwich. Perfectly grilled squash and pea pods. Quick and friendly waitstaff. Great job Rose!!
We enjoyed our meals and they were very accommodating for dietary restrictions. My salmon was raw but I didn't know until I was done with most of it so i didn't say anything. It was still yummy! I let them know that I have egg and dairy sensitivities and they made sure to address it with every piece of the meal. Service was great. We actually sat at a table big enough to hold all our food. The menu looks so yummy. Just wish they had an allergy listing or a list of food allergy sensative items available.
Great food and friendly service. I had the porterhouse and the artichoke dip. The drinks were reasonable and well made. Great atmosphere and convenient location in fort Collins. I would go here again for sure.
Our 1st time at Austin's American Grill, we loved the brunch menu!
Always great food and service. Fort Collins has the nicest people on the planet.
This place was excellent. Had Ibs & roasted chicken with veggies. It was awesome!
Austin's used to be one of our favorite places...not anymore. We always have gone to the downtown location, but I don't think we'll patron this restaurant again. The last couple of times our meals have either come cold or not cooked. The portions have gotten smaller for the price and the service has declined as well. When a customer sends their food back to be cooked the way it was ordered the waiter should probably not be seen through the windows complaining or making jokes about the customer who asked for their food to be cooked the way they ordered it. That is rude and uncalled for. Definitely waiting an hour to be seated for terrible service, uncooked food, small portions and an outrageous bill was not worth our time. Thank goodness the company in the party was amazing!
The salmon was cooked to perfection - as in cooked JUST to the point of being cooked, and a wee bit raw (not actually raw, though) in the middle. Melted in my mouth. Have it with the grilled Brussels sprouts, and you have the perfect lunch. Wait staff was first rate.
Great food and fair cheap for a "fancy" restaurant. Good date spot
Loved everything about this place. My food, Rotisseri chicken, green chili hash was delicious . I wish I could find this back home in Minnesota. The Traditional Eggs Benedict sauce, however, was not a hit. Way too salty. The Wisconsin Dells hasbrowns served with the burgers and French Toast was the best I've ever eaten. The server was very friendly and prompt. The restaurant was clean. Would definitely return to this place.
Waitstaff is great here and attentive. Server recommended the bison steak which I was happy to try and is typically a favorite of mine. It came out and was very bland, a little overpriced for what you receive.
Love Austin's. Good from scratch cooking, local beers, full bar, great happy hour and we have always had great service!
One of the best spots in town. Consistently excellent.
Great service and food.
This place holds a special place for my wife and I, being that it is where we went for dinner on our first date. The food is still wonderful, the atmosphere is cosy, with a great view of Old Town Fort Collins. Parking can be a pain sometimes, if you don't like walking a bit, but that's not their fault, but rather the City of Fort Collins. I give them only 4 stars, because I've seen the quantity of the food diminish gradually over time, though the prices stay the same or increase a little. This now makes the price a $$$ rating rather than a $$ rating.
We visited during the Great Plates event and had a delightful meal (Scottish salmon). Delicious food and a worthy cause
Good Food Great Service Fun atmosphere!!!
Tried steak for the first time here and I wasn't disappointed! Food and service was good!
Very poor service. I was seated and never greeted by a server for over ten minutes. I did not wait around to find out if the food was better than their piss poor customer service. There is no excuse for such behavior. Don't waste your time going here.
Great food and service in the heart of old town.
Amazing food. Kind staff
Great food and amazing service! Casey and Julia were informative and attentive
Good food, but too trendy
Always friendly service. My kids love the sundaes they get after their meal
Wow! What an amazing rotisserie chicken! Good cocktails and wine but dang, that chicken is amazing!!!!
Right on the probably the busiest corner. So it's great for people watching. Food is always good and service is friendly.
Everything we tried was awesome.Staff was on top of it and got everything correct during or 20 person birthday dinner.
Great ambiance!! Great food!! Great service!!
Mostly over priced for unimaginatove food. The staff is nice, but the last two times I have gone the food has been cold.
Great ambience, great food, great service. You can never go wrong with Austin's.
Nice appetizer, specially shrimps are great. I had meatloaf as the main courses, it was burnt a little but still yummy. Desserts are all good specially the cheesecake. We also ordered the steak, chicken, and burger which were all good.
Austin's didn't impress me tonight. The Buffalo meatloaf was average. The mashed potatoes didn't have much flavor. Pretty average, for the price.
Nice atmosphere including an outdoor space for the right weather. My dish, sea bass, was amazing and the prime rib was good.
Couldn't decide what to order, there were so many tasty-looking options! Of course, the rotisserie chicken was great, and the salads were so fresh and wonderful!! The rotisserie chicken was so delicious and tender. The pork ribs yummy! Our friends had the bison meatloaf and again yummy. The side salad was large and my only wish was that I had known it was going to have radishes, picked those off:). Our waiter was great. Definitely worth the time it takes to find parking downtown.
Austin's is always reliable, you can't get bad food here, everything is good.
Amazing food. Prices were average, and the quality of food far exceeded that. Very filling and good drinks. We had 10 people and the place was clean with minimal noise pollution. Our server/ bartender was named steph, and we highly recommend her. Very attentive, friendly, and our orders were 100% correct.
Always Good Place!
Top notch! They helped make my bday one to remember! Killer food! Great service!
Mediocre and bland. Brussle sprouts over cooked and leathery. And BTW. Strawberry Daiquery are suppose to be sweet. We came from court house after being married. We will not go there for any anniversary dinners.
Amazing ribs and brussel sprouts!
Best happy hour food menu in town. Bones by the rib fall off the bone. Love the beer cheese soup. Great food all around, really can't go wrong. Usually very busy, and for good reason.
Good food and great atmosphere. Known for their rotisserie chicken. I had the Bison Steak which was very good. Medium was just perfect
3 rd visit in a row that took over 1 hr to get main course. Ordered appetizers on all 3 occasion not one of them showed up on any one of the visits. I will not be back. Dont waste your time.
Poor service. I was told the special was pork tenderloin madallions and peach salsa with Brussels Sprouts. The madallions turned out to plain pork loin not tenderloin and over cooked! The salsa was okay and the sprouts were under cooked. Very dissatisfied.
Great service answered all our questions
Was my first time there but it definitely won't be my last. Good atmosphere, good service and good food - absolutely no complaints.
Delicious food! Tastes like it was made with real ingredients
Good food and friendly service.
Amazing Happy Hour, great food/portion sizes and good drinks. Would definitely return.
We had the cheese dip and the Buffalo meatloaf with the cranberry Apple coleslaw... It was VERY tasty. Will balanced, will proportioned, and will seasoned. Service was excellent, I definitely recommend it.
Service was good. The pork tenderloin and the rack of ribs that we ordered at the table were quite dry. Definitely not worth the price tag.
Delicious and great service even though they were busy.
The bison burger and bison steak salad were very good, and the kids meals were very affordable
Weak, boring food and atmosphere. Yawn, in a sea of good restaurants in old Town Ft Collins if advise people to spend money elsewhere!!
Great evening great food choices
Granny will roll over in her grave, because her meatloaf was just showed up! Hands down the best meatloaf I've ever had. Yeah its that good. Combine it with those brussel sprouts and you really have a meal to write home about. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars, was due to the fact the service was slow.
Good food. Good service. Good area.
A group of us came here over the holiday weekend, extended family (who aren't picky). We loved the decor, service was good, but the food overall was not. Everyones dish was lackluster in taste, cook, or awkward description of the dish on the menu. It's unusual that we all are disappointed. Perhaps it was the holiday that caused our food to be bland, stale, or overcooked, but it wasn't super busy when we were there. Hopefully the food quality improves for future patrons.
Two couples traveling back to Kansas City from Portland, Oregon and we stopped by to visit a long time friend in Fort Collins. For dinner, she recommended Austins downtown. It was an excellent choice. The menu has good variety and everything was cooked and served to perfection. When we come back to visit, Austins will be on our list to visit. And, a shout out to Mason, our server. She was outstanding, coming by frequently to check on us, providing requested advice, and generally making out outing memorable with her pleasant personality.
Adorable, cozy, nice restaurant in FoCo. The food was great, they excel at meats and sauces. The soy bbq sauce on the salmon was absolutely amazing. They also do a great cast iron skillet cornbread. Two TVs behind the small bar if you need to see a game while enjoying a great meal.
Was very pleased with my visit tonight. I would definitely return and recommend! Food was awesome. Ordered salmon and a salad which were both delicious and good portions (not too big but still filling)Service was friendly and attentive. It was very busy but everyone kept their cool. The hostess was very sweet and Chloe my server was great!
Sat me in a really bad seat requested to move, gave me a worse table. The seem crazy about trying to take away your plates the minute your not using them while the food is good, the service at that price point is kinda not worth
Great Brussels sprouts!
When you want a guaranteed good experience, go to Austin's. In our last outing, we got there at 11a.m. to beat the weekday lunch crowd. They have a caring wait staff that calls the fully-blossomed "miss", and is tipped accordingly. Excellent chicken- or tuna-salad sandwiches, great porrtobelllo mushroom sandwiches, and great French Onion soup. Full-flavored iced tea with lemon. Sidewalk seating in warm weather. Full bar. I have been here many times. Enjoyed several hearty Irish Coffees on winter evenings. It's fun to watch the rotisserie chickens in the faux fireplace, and the people passing by in this primo street-corner location.
Great time and great atmosphere.
This was by far one of the most infuriating experiences at a restaurant I’ve had. I’m not even going to waste my time with detailing everything that was wrong. In general, this place and their staff operate at a glacial pace. It took 20-30 minutes of us sitting at our table until our order was taken. Our waiter was no where to be found and was inattentive. The food was bad diner food at its best. Not worth the price point or time. Run the other way.
Limited menu, but the food and atmosphere were great! The restaurant is small, so you may want to have a reservation instead of just showing up
Been here many times with friends, on dates, and for Easter Brunches. Never been disappointed.
Good was decent, but the service wasn't there
Good food, good atmosphere.
Very tasty steak and the Beer cheese soup is amazing
Certainly worth a return trip. The bill was fair for the quality of food.
Salmon and Brussel Sprouts. Enough said! Make sure to sit outside!
Food was good but expensive. The portions are not large. It is great to sit outside but be warned they don't take reservations on the patio.
Server named Rose is the best. On the spot with our order and super kid friendly..
Food was great, awesome service.
Easy place for families or couples to dine, drink and relax when visiting Fort Collins. We've enjoyed the patio, bar and dining room. Great food and atmosphere.
Consistent good food!! I like a restaurant I can trust!
Great service, Great food, Great atmosphere!
Great food and service was excellent!
Evan was very nice and polite and was a great server. Give this man a raise, he truly deserves it.
Amazing staff and customer service and even better food. My girlfriend and I went and had the hot artichoke dip, each had a steak, and a bottle of wine. The Gluten free knowledge of the staff was above average and made for a comfortable dining experience. Will go back for sure!
Awesome food. Staff was courteous and friendly and the restaurant was well maintained and fun. Chicken was outstanding and the cole slaw was amazing, would return just for that.
Amazing prime rib. Hands down best I've ever had in my life. Service was outstanding, spilled some sauce and had some new sauce in less than a minute. The wait is not so bad with the text alerts for when your table is ready, it let's you explore downtown for awhile while you wait. This place is going to be my birthday spot for life probably.
The default place in Old Town where I bring anyone new to Fort Collins. Pricing is very fair for the amount/quality you're getting. The atmosphere is just shy of pretentious with an appropriate touch of Colorado diner coziness. Try the brussels sprouts, they rock.
It was ok. The prime rib sandwich wasn't so 'prime' but still tasty. Service was good. Atmosphere was particularly loud. Not sure if it is acoustics or just that days crowd. Would go back for a quick lunch but not for anything more than a fast food experience.
American food, so delicious. Visited on Fri I believe. The place has a cool atmosphere. Food is similar to a cafe in Indianapolis I loved.
Every dish that I've tried there was stunningly good. And the service is very good at helping you find what you'd like. 10/10 would go again
Great food,great staff
This is Hands down in the top 3 best restaurants in Foco.
The prime rib au jus steak is heavenly!! Nice ambience!! Wish to go there as soon as possible!!
Clean restaurant and friendly employees. All I had was a cup of coffee. It was fine.
Generally this place has good food and good service. However VERY limited on it's plant based options. Wish they could have more for vegetarians.
Friendly staff. Popular, so it's busy.
Very nice, very knowledgeable, I would highly recommend the prime rib!!!
Too ritzy for me. Way too expensive for bad tasting food. The atmosphere was stuffy and I couldn't wait to get out of there.
Terrible experience. I am not hard to please but the service tonight was the worst I’ve ever had in my life besides the time I dined in at Steak n Shake. The server walked by us over a handful of times without stopping or checking in while we were sitting there waiting for him to come by. Food was bland. Serve was rude. Took 15 min to get water, 25 min to get drinks, 50 min to get food and 20 mins to get the check. The server didn't even check on his tables around us. I even watched a couple people leave because they were waiting too long for water.... don’t come here. The places around are way better. Did I mention the server was insincere and contemptuous. I didn’t even get his name because he never introduced himself or was around to even ask. It’s not asking much for decent service and an experience.
Bland food bad service. The sea bass was so weak that the server offered more sauce when we said is was marginal. I ordered a salad and a bit later asked if it had Romain Lettuce and asked if I can change my order and he said it was too late to change it. Given the fact that there is still a recall and advisory on Romain I would have let the customer change the order. The meat loaf was cafeteria grade and the ketchup glaze was just straight ketchup. The server was contemptuous and insincere. No need to say you'll make my visit better next time because I will not be returning.
