1 less star. Only because I feel the drinks can be irresponsibly strong. The food, atmosphere, and service rocks! I love everything about this place. Just watch how the drinks are made. Not everyone can handle high amounts of alcohol. That means bad things can, and sometimes happen. Great place vs the ridiculously strong drinks.

Fun bar, it always looks crazy, but even when it gets crowded it doesn't feel claustrophobic because two of the walls are open to the outside. They have great big drinks, some are more alcoholic than others. They used to have great music like playing 80's or 90's with the pls music videos on all the screens and it was really fun to dance to. But recently when I've visited they have guest DJ's waking around on an iPad and they play not so great music... At least not great to get a crowd dancing.

Without a reservation and with a party of 7 on a Friday night, they were more than accommodating to our group. The chips were awesome! The service was very good and the food was outstanding!! I suggest the shrimp tacos!

The brunch buffet was a great selection of foods. When I went it was Mexican inspired, but it changes weekly. There's also a brunch menu and bottomless mimosas. Great location.

I love it here! Everyone is so friendly and my server was amazing. I tipped him $35 dollars for how amazing he was. The only thing I dislike is that the tables are scarce and it’s hard to catch a waiter sometimes. Fun place in Hillcrest. It’s one of mine and my boyfriend’s favorites.

Food is good, had the Mo burger. The waiter was awesome with just the right amount of flirty. I also had a call drink off the menu that had grapefruit vodka, St Germaine, and Rose' wine. I don't like Rose' wine but the first drink was actually the right combination of flavors and I liked it. The second one tasted like rose' and wasn't so tasty like they forgot the grapefruit vodka. It was10 bucks and I drank it anyway. Mo's is always fun. Go there!

Mo’s is a great place to meet friends; get to know new people; listen to music; dance or just to chill. When I am in San Diego, it is my first stop on a night out and then usually becomes my last stop also. Great service, drinks and food (the best burgers). The employees are always friendly and helpful, Mo’s is always filled with good energy and great vibes ... and pink Flamingos!

I got the BBQ Pork Bahn Mi and it was great! I think the most charming part of this cafe are the workers here. The guy who helped went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. Even while I ate my sandwich, I could see him bustling around helping other customers. Overall, great service and great food!

Great place for strong drinks, good food, big portions and lots of fun. Their stuffed burgers are amazing and their Chicken Pot Pie is to die for. They have great salads and sandwiches as well. Highly recommended.

DO NOT GO ON GAY PRIDE WEEKEND! , staff is very rude , one of them even yelled at my sister face , they make you wait 3 hours for a table and yet you get that kind of rude service. Disappointing . It happened at 1 pm on Saturday July 13th.

Burger was delicious. Alexx, the server, was really nice. Atmosphere overall was nice. They do seem to have a smoking and non-smoking area indoors. Luckily the smoke didn't get to the non-smoking side.

Very fun place to grab a drink! Plenty of events going on and a late night spot almost every night. Fun bartenders and very nice staff. Bouncer gave us information about the neighborhood and recommend other fun things to do - recommended!

What a fun bar. Got there early to get a seat and ordered a few Urban MO's Bar & Grill and the happy hour special $6 Ron's Mistake. Great way to begin a holiday afternoon before going to dinner. The bartenders are really friendly and the regulars right out of central casting. If you are missing the Luau or Trader Vics this is the place. Cash only and now no smoking.

I first visited Urban Mo's back in 2008 when I was stationed at Camp Pendleton. I absolutely fell in love with the bar and the staff. I recently moved back to San Diego and Mo's was THE first bar/restaurant I dined with. Would love to work there... great food, great environment, and great people. YOU MUST GO VISIT URBAN MO'S!!!

I love Moe's, in the heart of Hillcrest, this is one of my absolute top favorite restaurants and some of the very best if not the very very best customer service in all of Hillcrest.... there's always something happening at this place I love the host his name is Alec he is my favorite host that they have ever had, I like all the waiters, their cocktails are better than maybe any other bar I've been to in San Diego, their Tuesday night spaghetti "all you can eat" is fantastic and fabulous and you must go try it, their weekend brunch is superb, excellent selection, it gets very busy, make sure you go and try their brunch they even have a nice bulletin board for the locals to use.... I absolutely love that about this place... if there's one thing I could make a comment on and if the management could read this I would say that the waiters need to always check back with the customers because many times we have to wait 30 or 45 minutes to get the bill after we eat this is happened to me many many times at this restaurant, I'm not upset about it but it would be nice when we are finished with our meal if we could get the bill quickly!

I very rarely leave reviews, but the staff at this place is top notch! Had Marty as our server and he was so sincere and genuine. Food was also very good. As a small restaurant manager, I really appreciate everything Marty was willing to share about the work atmosphere, and I plan on trying out some new/different things with my own staff. The owners clearly do such a great job taking care of their employees, and it shows in the care given to the customers.

Nice and fast service, the waitress informed me about all specials and happy hour deals. I thought it was great that they have outdoor seating.. but because I only visited this place once, I don‘t know wether all the food is really good. I just had an appetizer which I liked.

It took a while for me to fully appreciate this place, but the service is outstanding, the drinks ... all taste like sugar, but are very strong and the atmosphere is uplifting. The food is also very very good. Issues arise, but they tend to be the result of the staff either being overly comfortable, familiar, relaxed or personable which in itself could be seen as a good thing. This place is the jack off all trades as a bar, clubhouse, club and restaurant but it doesn't quite master any of those, and for this reason it's not a place I'll ever frequent. But MO's is an icon, and the father of many other LGBT venues. I'm very grateful for it's establishment in the community.

I always enjoy coming to this place for food or drinks or both. Their burgers and fries are the best, they are huge and enough to fill you up. I also love the blackout lemonade. If you are looking for brunch this would also be the spot. They have bottomless mimosas at a price you can’t beat. The waiter and waitress make sure your glass is never empty.

I have been coming to Mo's for many years now. The burgers and salads are my favorites. Staff is very friendly. It has Inside seating and a terrace with a bar. They always have something going on : dance floor, specials, parties, happy hour. It's a great place to hang out.

Go for unlimited Brunch & Mimosas on Sunday, best $30 +tip you could spend. Mimosas are unlimited until 2pm I think.
