This is the only place open for lunch inside La Quinta resort, the food is incredibly good, I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and I ate every morsel! They also have fantastic original drinks, try the spicy pepino tequila it is awesome. The only drawback is the poor service, the hostess seem to had a bad day and we had to call our server to take our order after 30 minutes and again to get our check, we felt abandoned by the staff.

We were staying at the resort and ate here twice. The food was around 20$ per plate for more expensive stuff at breakfast but definitely tasty and of good quality. The eggs Benedict with crab was to die for and really hit the spot, my wife ordered it both days. They also have freshly squeezed grapefruit juice from the tress on the property, soooo good. I’d like to leave a special thank you to our exceptional server Francisco Galindo, he attended to us on both days. He went out of his way to make my wife and our baby comfortable. He was friendly, attentive and just made us feel like we were always receiving excellent service. We’ll be coming back and bringing friends.

I have only lived here in La Quinta for one year. I haven't found many restaurants to recommend, but for casual dining I would recommend this one. I especially love the hamburger that comes on their specialty home made potato bun. The presentation is beautiful and it tastes great! I'm not a burger person, but I love that one! The environment is lovely and comfortable too.

The service was slow and the food wasn't bad but way over priced for what I ordered. There was barely even anyone in the restaurant it doesn't make any sense why the service took as long as it did and for only one dish! The slow service wouldn't have bothered me as much if the waiter would have at least acknowledged the fact that it was taking a substantial amount of time but no apologies or exclamations were ever given for or long wait.

Had an amazing dinner at restaurant Twenty6. Family and I came in on Thursday night not knowing of their fried chicken special. We ordered it and couldn't believe how delicious it was! If this dish is a staple menu item on Thursday nights we will definitely be back for more and will be letting our friends know about it! Thank you to the chefs for an awesome dinner and to the staff as well for being really attentive to us! We will be back again on a Thursday night very soon!

My boyfriend and I came last year for their amazing hot chocolate, and this year, I was so excited to come and have it again. To my disappointment, when we came tonight to get our chocolate with steamed milk, espresso, and homemade marshmallows, we were told budget cuts had been made, and they now only have hot chocolate packets. It literally tasted like hot milk. The only reason I'm giving two stars is for the great service.

Gallaudet Properties

The breakfast here is really, really good, and worth the higher, resort-adjusted prices. The coffee, which is delivered in a carafe, has always been impressively hot and the complimentary smoothie shot is a nice way to start the experience. They have an impressive buffet and a great menu as well with a double digit selection of eggs benedict variations. It's a great breakfast.

We were here for breakfast and came back for dinner. Eduardo, Gabriela, Toddd, and Ali were awesome! If you enjoy California Napa wine, come in and ask for Todd. He has extensive wine knowledge and inside tricks . The food was great and the service was amazing.. The steaks were great. Try the mushroom sauce and the peppercorn sauce. Highly recommended location for great food and great wine.

I used to love this place. In fact, i used to actually work at the La Quinta resort and would come here several times a week. Even after i moved away from La Quinta, it was a tradition to come out here every winter and come to the Twenty6 for the amazing hot chocolate that was served with the homemade marshmallows and espresso. It was extremely sad to drive out here only to learn that a "cut in budget" has reduced this down to a cup of hot milk with some Swiss powder in it. I didn't bother to look and see what else was changed, but from what I've heard, its not too impressive. I understand loss of profit and this all may seem trivial, but wow, most dissappointing cup of hot chocolate i have ever had in my entire life. Our bill still ended up being $50 for each of us to have one cup, plus two orders of fries. Absolutely ridiculous, tradition ruined, never coming back and never recommending anyone else again. Great service though, bump up a star for the hostesses and server.

While the hostess was helpful. The rest of the wait staff was slow and forgetful. In my hour at the restaurant it took 20-25 minutes and 3 requests to get my bill before it came. For a restaurant in a luxury hotel the wait staff did not make it feel like a luxury experience. Along with the issues around the experience with the wait staff the food was average. Based off my experience it is preferable to eat off site from the hotel.

I really wanted to like this restaurant. I tried it 3 times before deciding never to go back. Even a groupon wouldn't send me back to Twenty6. The environment is nice and the wait staff is friendly. But the food is downright awful, that is unless you want your dinner to taste like a salt lick. If you are staying at La Quinta Resort, do yourself a favor and not visit this restaurant.

Really wanted to give this place 5 stars but, unfortunately, I couldn't. We had a party of 12 and 3 of the plates had to be returned. I'll just leave it at that. Excellent service and atmosphere. Beautiful surroundings with palm trees, waterfalls and lights for an added touch of ambiance. Our server couldn't have been nicer. She was on it!

Very convient as a resort guest AND the food was very good. We had chardonnay with rosemary chicken and beet salad. The great deal on both taste and cost is the holiday special pastry dessert buffet. All you can eat and take with you, but maker sure you taste each of the many pies, cakes, torts, Capra cookies.

This fairly large restaurant includes a full bar and a private room. The food is good, but as others mention, dinner and brunch is over priced. There are minimal vegetarian options here. Brunch is a forced buffet, locked at $29 for adults and $15 for ages 6-12. This means if all you want is a small fruit bowl for brunch and you're an adult, you're paying $29. The staff are wonderful, accommodating and proactive. It gets very busy here, so reservations in the evening, especially during holidays, is strongly recommended.

We went for breakfast. The hostess continued cleaning menus instead of acknowledging us until the girl at the omelet station made a point to say hello. She then acted bothered by our presence before taking us to a table. The food was good enough, nothing special, but the service received was unacceptable. It's worth noting that the girl at the omelet station was very nice, and the people bringing around the smoothie samples.

We had a slight misunderstanding regarding the bill, and Esteban (the manager) helped to resolve the situation with professionalism and top-notch customer service skills. We would definitely return to the resort and eat here again!

The food is great. Make sure to do the breakfast buffet. They have a large selection of food choices with great food and made to order omelets. Service is a bit slow so give yourself plenty of time.
