This a wonderful place, if you are white. The food and service from the bussing staff is wonderful which kept me coming back, assuming service issues were isolated. Unfortunately, after a fifth visit, I am highly disappointed and shocked by the continued treatment by the management and bartending staff. The pompous and superior attitudes of both were not consistent among patrons, but rather directed towards minority guests and more disappointingly, fellow minority staff. Over the course of 5 visits, I overheard and witnessed several demeaning racial comments between white management and staff in regards to patrons and staff, overtly making it clear this is a whites only preferred establishment. I highly recommend avoiding this restaurant if you have any sense of moral dignity. For whites looking for a safe haven in the very diverse Bay Area, I guess this is your spot.

Calimari and seafood pasta were delicious. Getting non-bar single seating on the other hand sucked, waited ~75 mins for a table. Many couples and larger groups not ahead of me on the waiting list were seated while I waited. Appeared that Online reservation ruled best, those lucky folks walked in the doors and were seated almost immediately. Food for thought if you don't like waiting!

Good service and a tasty entree of shrimp linguini. Bread pudding was ok, felt a little old in that it had a stodgy texture. It has a good atmosphere for a date night or a celebration. For a dinner with friends it's a little more upscale/pricey than I personally want. Overall good service and decent food but somewhat expensive for the atmosphere and quality.

What a great restaurant: part comfort food, part fusion of different cuisines but always delicious and wonderful portions. The food is of the highest quality and therefore the prices mirror this but it's great for special occasions. Good for the whole family, the waiters are really friendly and fast, and there is a great bar staff. There is a parking lot but it is small. I don't think they take reservations so earlier the better. When the weather is good there is plenty of outdoor seating as well.

My family was excited to celebrate Mother’s Day at this quaint and rustic venue. Upon entering the restaurant I was pleasantly surprised with the cozy yet elegant ambiance. I sat down and tried amazing buffalo wings, crab dip with real sourdough bread and an amazing gin martini. I made a note to myself to come back with my husband for date night. After dining on their jalapeño wrapped prawns and a garden salad which was also extremely yummy my family continued to enjoy our cocktails with the amazing food telling stories of our youth, loved ones who are no longer with us. We had a beautiful time and the hours slipped away from us. After 3 hours the owner asked us to leave because he had another party waiting for the table , mind you this was after we had paid our bill which was over $400.00. I think instead of asking us to leave it would’ve been more hospitable to suggest we sit at the bar. It wasn’t as though they were losing money. Anyway we left and headed to the bureau where we ordered more cocktails and enjoyed each other’s company. I was prepared to bring my husband to the Old Town restaurant bar & grill for date night but I don’t want to be asked to leave if we aren’t finished dining and conversing so that they can meet their weekend profit margin! For this Old Town receives 2 stars. Go there for a quick bite to eat and then leave and head to a more socially friendly venue or dine there when it isn’t a major holiday. Maybe then you won’t be asked to leave.

The food is nothing to rave about. The prices are high for what you get. They have a parking lot with not many spaces. The dessert was mediocre. Had the crab cakes entree, avocado toast, crab dip, truffle fries, pork chop, and nothing really stood out or blew my mind. Just mediocre.

We hosted a work retirement party with 30-40 people. Food was excellent waitstaff were very good too. Nice wine list. The prawns and calamari were good. The manager lacked a sense of customer service and reprimanded our party for standing and clapping. He seemed to have disappeared when the bill arrived.

This is an old bar restaurant that has a rustic charm. The food is on the pricey side, but is upscale so you get big portions and high quality. The calamari is delicious and they have avacado brushetta that is incredible. Everything came out fast and was very good looking and tasting. My ribs were tender, saucy, and came with three side items. Drinks and deserts are also spot on. The chocolate torte is very rich and smooth, almost like a mousse. I fully recommend this restaurant. It's worth every penny and the experience is nothing but friendly staff and incredible food.

Fantastic dog friendly patio, food and drink. It’s white table cloth but no need to come fancy. Get the Prime Rib, it’s always in special and never on the menu. Delicious. Uber if you can, the parking lot is small and the drinks are very good.

This place is good, but they should be open on Sundays! Everyone heads to Emeryville on a Sunday: there is Bay Street, IKEA, Allegro, marina walk, etc. and no good place to have dinner! We would love to have it be our Sunday dinner spot after the shopping and before the night out! It would be packed if you open it. And yes, people do go out in Sundays.

This is a place I would have loved to give 5 stars. The atmosphere was right, and the the menu looked delicious. Unfortunately, the flavors did not balance right-the ahi tuna salad had so much black pepper, wasabi, and onion my nose was on fire even after we left the restaurant. My son got the 12 oz. ribeye, and said it was cooked well, but the veg on the plate was cooked in the same sauce as the meat and had lost its distinct tastes. They're on the verge of being fantastic, but not quite there.

I don't know how this restaurant is still in business. Our server was very attentive. The food was really bad! Ordered the fried Calamari, it tasted almost like it was on the verge of spoiled. The Lamb chops had a sauce that was just gross! It was served with overly garlic over cook potatoes and woody asparagus. They actually used the bottom part of the asparagus. Who eats that?

Usually great food. Large portions. But our Mothers day weekend meal was not the greatest for me. Having just gotten back from Italy, but wanting something light, I tried the porcini mushroom ravioli but it was too heavy and seasoned compared to the mouth watering dish I remembered in Tuscany. The prices seem to have gotten higher too. The back ribs and sweet potato fries are both awesome. Coconut flan was delicious.

Lively spot for dinner and drinks. Food wise, the menu is unremarkable but well executed. Lot's of good salad choices and dinner entrees. We had the avocado bruschetta which was a favorite for the whole table, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their entrees. This place has a full bar, and several drafts beers including locals such as Fieldworks.

Sports jackets, grey-hairs and aspiring socialites dapple this rustic themed establishment of fine cuisine. The outside deck gets filled with after work happy hour groups in the early warm evenings. The food is good, but sometimes their flavor pairings allow one item to mute another in a plate (example - pork chops stuffed with Italian sausage). The cocktails are top notch and so is the service.

Good food but slow service. The baby back ribs that I ordered were delicious. They came with some Mac n cheese which was decently good and impressed me(I'm not a huge fan of Mac n cheese). They also came with some sweet potato fries that I did not like but I generally don't like sweet potato. The service for five entrees was half an hour
