Came here for bingo and stayed for the fun! Met some friends and family here for a Wednesday night dinner and bingo and I was blown away at how awesome this place is! I ordered the country fried chicken with mash potatoes and WOW! it was so good! You have to come and try this. The potatoes were creamy with chunks of potato and a hint of garlic. The chicken was perfectly portioned with a nice helping of gravy on top of it. I don't think I could order anything else because this is so good! A friend got the salmon and I would have asked how it was, but she cleared her plate before I could even ask. The food is great here. While waiting for the food come out, we played Bingo. They had a bunch of great prizes to win and the announcer was very lively. They have beer on tap so I basically just stuck with that the whole night, but they do have a full bar and Rene is the BEST bartender! I didn't realize until I left, but they have a giant checkers game, corn hole, and ping pong outside. I will definitely be back to play all of that. Check this place out! It's fun for all ages! They even have a kids cove for the little ones

Finally a tenant that's worthy of this location. So many have come and gone. Great little bar/restaurant. Service is always friendly. Food is decent. Good happy hour. Bingo on Wednesday nights is a riot. Love that they've added that. Great local gathering place.

Great place for a break during a bike ride or a bike. Conveniently located on PCH. Great sandwiches. Has clean restrooms and free water refill for your bottles. Also has bananas and Cliff Bars for sale.

We were there for NFC championship game and had 8 people. I tried to call ahead, but got no response, so we showed up anyway. The place was packed so we sat outside. The food and drink was really good, especially the poutine. Great cuts on the fries to enable plenty of room for the toppings of carnitas, gravy & cheese. We had 2 servers, that did a great job. They had a lot going on with the packed house and kept apologizing for delays, but honestly we were fine and continued to let them know we were there for the entire game and not to worry. They comp'd our desserts for the percieved inconvenience, which was really appreciated. I guess it must be tough to deal with some of uptight locals with entitled expectations. Bottom line is we really appreciated the effort of our servers.

Hands down the best food in Dana Point and surrounding areas. I avoided this place for two years because I thought it was just a bar, but after seeing some pictures of the food I thought I would try it and I am glad I did. I wish I could eat here every day now! Pricing was fair $50 for two people with drinks and tip. Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

Stopped by on a Sunday morning to watch my hometown team play football (they have Sunday NFL Ticket!), place was packed, which was a good sign to us as this was our first time there. Mimosas were $3, Bloody Marys were $4, so a good drink special for the day. They serve breakfast from 9am-12pm (lunch starts at 11am). Both menus looked good and as the food was being brought out from the kitchen it also looked pretty good. Looks were spot on, our food was delicious. Service was excellent. Our initial server helped us scout out a table by the TV that was playing our game even though it wasn't in her section, which was awesome and we really appreciated her going above and beyond. We know next time to get up there a little earlier to get a table. :) This is definitely our new football place for the season. Note: there are a decent amount of TVs (all games are being shown) and each one has a tag on it with which games will be playing on each TV so you can seat yourself accordingly to what you want to watch.

Ambience is fun as Sports Bar. Spoiled lettuce in Chinese Chicken Salad ($14.35) should have not been served. Sent back once as cucumbers mushy salad leaves brown. Came back and again salad mix +from a bag) was not the freshest but barely passable. Lots of chicken strips, dry slightly burnt from grill. Server said bringing in Live music on weekends at 9 AM The BBQ ribs and Prime Ri. Thursdays are their niche it seems. Lots of Tacos, nachos. lumpia. Stay away from Salads

Great affordable place in Dana Point. Food was excellent as was the service. The atmosphere is dark, but a large window on the south side adds a lot of natural light and great views of PCH and the city. Had the turkey burger, which they make in house (not frozen). I can’t wait to have it again!

This place is great! A party of 6 of us made a trip down the coast one Saturday afternoon, we started at the point. We each ordered an app to split, wow food is delish. Everything thing from the ahi to the ribs and poutine, this place is on "point". The wood fire oven or grill really adds a great flavor that puts the point over the top of any sports bar I've been to. Needless to say with the amazing food the great game views and the attractive staff we not only started there we ended there. Looking forward to the next trip to THE POINT!

A really good place for weekend breakfast. A fairly large menu, kids menu and discount mimosas. Bottomless for 2 hours if you want to roll that way! To our youngsters delight there’s a kids cave. While we weren’t here for happy hour we will be back. Menu looks great!

They must be doing something right if they have been open for all the years? Right? To bad I didn’t go 10 years sooner;) bbq pulled pork was 100% worth the $13 price. For a place with presumably higher rent than most places, the food is reasonably prices.

Good local sports bar with NFL games and lots of Tv's even outside. Pretty typical bar food..pizza, wings, burgers and beer. Very crowded on Monday night for MNF. Great wait staff...blonde surfer dude was handling the entire restaurant for the first 45 minutes we were there and he did a fabulous job. He was friendly, gave good recommendations and pointed out the Monday happy hour specials. Lots of food is half off and happy hour is 3 to close on Monday. Will def go back.

Huge plates, great prices, bar atmosphere but there were plenty of kids there for breakfast on the weekend. We got a great seat by the window and it stayed cool despite facing the sun. I could not finish my brunch, brought it home and it was gone within minutes. I had their turkey bacon club sandwhich and the zeppole. Eat those right away as they don't reheat well but are worth the $7 hot. Ate lunch here today. After 3pm happy hour specials are great.

I'm an out of town, in Dana Point for a work function tonight. Deciding to escape the existential-crisis inducing experience that is the LA traffic slog, I headed out early, arriving at noon. The Google machine suggested this place when I asked for a restaurant with a view. I will say it wasn't fully accurate unless you consider a busy street and some distant hills to be quite a vista. However, the menu seemed good, so I stuck to my guns and found a table. Service was prompt and courteous. I ordered a BBQ chicken salad and a pear cider. I was just about to hand the menu back, when I felt a cosmic force whispering to me to give it one more look. Upon second review, I encountered the chocolate chip calzone. Now, I'm no Been Wyatt. I'm not a calzone guy, with a few exceptions (looking at you, Hoops in Peoria). Usually they are just pizza that's harder to eat. Only this time.... This time something moved me. I said to hell with my physical well being and ordered the damn thing. With peanut butter because obviously. It arrived and hot damn. This thing was already stuffed with chocolate chips and peanut butter, but then topped with ice cream, whipped cream, and powdered sugar. It could satisfy the sweet tooth of a Midwestern prediabetic. You should probably share it with 4 to 12 people, or hover over it yourself, whispering "my precious" as you suck down the 1/2# of sugar it is made of. Glorious. So here I sit, outside on a perfect 67 degree, sunny day, with a gut that feels like it may explode and a deep feeling of satisfaction that can only be described as magnificent. Five starts, would recommend.

This is a somewhat underrated bar in Dana Point that should be getting a lot more attention. The staff is very helpful, always in a good mood and always full staffed. There's a wide range of sports playing on all of the TV's, and on Sundays during NFL season, the atmosphere is electric as fans from all over the country congregate to watch their games. The food is also of very high quality, for a "sports bar". Having eaten there many times I have never had a bad meal. Burgers are amazing and the pastrami sandwich is something that has to be experienced.

The food is amazing but the service was terrible. My friend was visiting from out of state and this place had good reviews so I decided to take my friend here. It took forever to be seated and to get our food but the food alone was 5 stars. The portions were huge. My friend ordered a sandwich and I was expecting something small but it was massive and came with tons of fries. I ordered a salad and it was huge and came with a ton of meat which I was also expecting to be a small portion. It was so flavorful and filling! The waitress never came by to refill my water and when I asked her how the seating worked in the beginning it seemed like she got defensive and said she was busy and the only one there but it was a weekday and there weren't many people inside at all! I would go back for the food alone.
