This Restaurant belongs to the category of Fine dining restaurant.
My preferred spot for delicious Quality Meals. Service is always nice even when they have a full house. Really nothing but great experiences here, so I will be back. Bring your hunger - portions are generous.
Per pound, The Palm has the lowest price of any premium restaurant on their lobster. As far as steak, I eat at Taylor's. I only eat lobster here. It is an incredible value and the flavor and preparation is just amazing.
My kids bright me here for my birthday. We had a great time. The food was delicious & the service excellent.
King Crab Legs and New York Strip.... Order both! Delicious!
Very nice location, staff are very friendly. Valet is reasonable there is a parking next to the restaurant. But with traffic I'm too annoyed to self park. Food was good just not a huge fan of the shrimps. That ceasar salad though is awesome.
Great food and service. At least at lunch never been there for dinner.
Nice location, the inside has the wonderful wall art of Hollywood & Celebraties. The food is great. I had a great time & a good meal with friends.
Awesome experience every time! Favorite in Beverly Hills
I think its one of the best places in the area , highly recommend
Good place and great foods
Great food... a favorite of the stars! For lunch get there before noon to get good seating. We went for an office lunch and it was perfect timing... the tables filled up quickly after we were seated but the food arrives quickly and is to die for. Even though my coworkers are lobster, my french fries were a hit and everyone ate them! A must try!
Great new location. Nicer than the old location, much more like Morton's. But it still has the Palm quality.
Expensive , but definitely worth it. Food and service was excellent
From the moment me and my guest arrived we were treated like family. We had chosen The Palm to celebrate his 49th birthday. I originally planned to go to the WEHO Palm which I had been to in 2013 but then I discovered they had closed. I made reservations at the Beverly Hills restaurant. I received a phone call confirming my reservation. After we arrived Our waiter could not have done more. Great experience, great food, and great service! Keep up the good work!!
I wasn't overly impressed by the food. They had a limited menue and they overcooked a medium steak twice. However, the staff was superb. Also, the chicken parmigiana is a huge dish. I would go back for wine and appetizers for an early/light dinner.
Missing the charm, character, quality and service of the previous location. Noisy, generic box restaurant. My steak arrived rarer than I ordered with gristle throughout. No one came to check on how I and my guests were enjoying our meal. Our server was MIA for 15 minutes. When the server finally returned to clear the dishes and offer us dessert, she seemed oblivious to a nearly uneaten steak. I eventually received an edible steak 20 minutes later. I expect a high-quality restaurant to have staff that are attentive to its guests and notice if something appears wrong. They should notice a diner not enjoying his or her meal and be concerned when they see an uneaten meal. I don't expect staff hovering over the guests, but I shouldn't have to chase down the server or search for a manger to complain. This wasn't the blue plate special at a diner.
An old BH favorite. Good food. Great service. A little loud if you're wanting a quiet, romantic experience.
I visit here quite frequently when I'm in LA. Really couldn't ask for better food or service
Teresa was so helpful and pleasant on the phone with trying to make reservations with special requests. She went over and above to help me. Great service.
Had a very nice meal, steak was cooked right and very good, the service was right on, prices were what would be expected.
Service and food have been consistently good and visits to this location are pleasant.
This place is so great and so Beverly Hills. All the beautiful people are here, enjoying great cocktails (Hendricks Gin with a cucumber!) and good food. The bartenders are good, some of the best. No wonder my sister-in-law is there weekly!
Bery good service great food
The best YEP
Delicious! Made it back just in time for the lobster special
Crystal was the best server hands down! And she makes the best drinks. Cool atmosphere, great food and if you want to mingle with celebrities come to The Palm! Best restaurant and staff!
This restaurant is very upbeat and trendy. The staff is very friendly and professional. Reservations are recommended due to the steady flow of people. My sister had her 30th birthday party there and we had a ball. Food is 5 star definitely. Very delicious, and the bartender is AWESOME!!! I will be back.
I cannot say enough about how great the service was at our dinner. Allesandro and Alex made our dining experience wonderful. They really know how to treat customers and make them feel special. Of course the food was amazing from the freshest shrimp in the Gigi salad to the lobsters and even the best pumpernickel bread. Loved our dinner and hopefully be back soon!
Worth every dollar. Service was above and beyond. Steaks were good, not great. Extensive Wine list.
This was my 1st time at the Palm. Th service started off slow but ended with a bang. The branzino was well seasoned but over cooked. The Garlic roasted mash potatoes wee to die for!!! Nice for dates or groups.
It doesn't come any better than this for lobster. Yes, it is pricey -- watch for specials where two can split -- but everything is top quality from the sourdough bread and butter to the roquefort dressing (OMG!) on a large salad you can split, a huge lobster big enough for two (and yes, you do pay for a 4 pound lobster). The secret here is do not drink alcohol if you can help it. It saves a lot on the bill. We are happy with water. And the service is excellent. They keep refilling your glass constantly. It is worth trying once in your life.
Good food and ok service
Our first time at the Palms was Awesome. I believe Heather was in charge of us having a great experience and she rocked !!! Our table of four was given first class service. If Heather wasn't right there then there were three other fine folks caring for our every need. So, service was the BEST! The food...was an equal to being first with the Service and was the most Amazing food Ever! The Filet...the NY Steaks...perfect! The garlic potatoes and green beans were to die for. Please give our compliments to the chefs. They ROCKED! The Amazing wines we had brought smiles to our faces all night. We did manage to save a tiny little space in our tummies for... Chocolate Cake And Key Lime Pie. OMG. What we couldn't finish we brought home and had leftovers for dinner tonight. Ahhh bliss! Thank you to all of the professional staff at The Palm. You did yourselves proud. Warmest Regards, Robert, Shelly, Aaron and Meredith
Great ambience , food always good
Lots of money. Great food. A bit taken with its own self
Cannot say I have ever had anything bad at this place. Had a good time. And they are there only place that knew about Blanton's tops and they're the only place I've seen had the complete trot. The staff was super cool.
Hands down my favorite restaurant in LA! They always have phenomenal service (ask for Courtney!) and wonderful ambience. You can't go wrong with the hash browns and grass fed filet.
I was just in LA for a long weekend vacation. We wanted somewhere for dinner to bring good food, ambiance, and experience. The Palm appeared to be the place to go. I did expect a more expensive meal as that is the environment and quality I was looking for. To sum it up, both cocktails ordered from the bar were mixed terribly. The taste of both drinks was of bad alcohol and no flavor, she didn't even finish hers. The steak I ordered well done came out red and bleeding still but burnt on the outside. I know it is hard to get a perfect well done piece of meat but it has been done many time over for me. I actually sent back the steak which I never do and let the drinks slide. The steak came back much later burnt and no flavor. I didn't even eat it or send it back the second time around. Everything else was mediocre and no different than your local steakhouse. Total bill was $300 for 2 people and I ate some side potatoes and a few asparagus. Don't expect anything great from this place. Overall not worth the money or your time. They seem to have a good regular following so that must keep their reviews up.
Great food and amazing customer service !
The lobster, was delicious. And terrific service.
Great food and service!
The best Lobster I have ever eaten!!! The "half and half" potatoes and fried onions are a knock out. The only drawback is it is not cheap but I think it's worth it.
quality meals, super delicious. this place is absolutely one of my favorites. the service here is great.
Great atmosphere, but food was quite bland, especially for top dollar. Better eats can be had for far less money. But if Glam is your thing, good choice here.
Amazing !! Server recommendations were on point. The food was delicious.
Double cut NY was xlnt, great price $99 for 32oz.
The dinner menu is great of course but what people don't talk about is how good this spot is for deserts and just have a few drinks, 1 of my favorite spots to have a drink or 2 in Beverly Hills.
I have always loved the Palm and always will! Wonderful private party room with family and friends. Always great food and service!!
Terrific! Will be actually returning once more. The site is terrific for me.
The restaurant and food was amazing. My issue and the only one is, the valet both which is right next to a parking garage charges four dollars more than the garage next door. Once you factor in validation then the difference is only 10. Now I know it might sound silly saying The Palm and complaining about two dollars difference in parking but it's just that I prefer a lower fee so that I can give a higher tip. Secondly I'm used to other places where the fee is close to $5.00. In the end it's my fault for not focusing on the signage to see what the cost was otherwise I would have parked myself because in but keen on random people driving my car.
We had Christmas Dinner there, the prime rib. Cooked to perfection, larger than life portions, great mashed potatoes, Everything totally delicious. Wonderful service, very attentive! One especially 'cute' short rotund bald headed waiter was special, he was officious, but friendly and very efficient with a very non-assuming attitude. We had our leftovers to go, but we did not get our green beans!! All in all, a great and wonderful fine dining experience we won't soon forget!!
Great staff & good food!
The restaurant itself was very nice and beautiful. The food was cooked perfectly and each dish has full of flavor. The service is very good and attentive. I highly recommended eating here! It won’t let you down!
I was really stoked to learn of The Palm opening this location five years ago. The food and service are excellent. I"m not into ordering labor intensive type food that requires a lot of work, but everyone kept insisting I order the lobster. The lobster was so good. Friends ordered the NY Strip Steak; those looked so good. Service is always great at this location. It has that old school...very professional feel to it...making this place more appealing.
Landmark of LA. Great place to experience royal services for delicious choices of food.
Service is good , food is even better!
Great turkey burger and Gigi salad
Always consistently good. This was for a meeting in the back private room so not quite a dinner review. Service is always outstanding. Excellent wine menu and the meal was very good.
This location is much lighter and brighter, but the deliciousness of the food is unprecedented!!!
First..out of zlobster..on a Wednesday...then out of Branzino..end eating pasta with clams..just ok
Went to The Palm Beverly Hills for our son's graduation dinner. I had the house bone-in rib-eye and it was perfectly seared, seasoned well, and cooked to an ideal medium-rare doneness. Others in our party had the tenderloin filet and were equally satisfied. I highly recommend the green bean side - just spicy enough. The service was excellent -- attentive and not rushed. I make it a point to have dinner at The Palm whenever I get down to LA.
Can't go wrong best add steaks around
Loved the crab cakes. The service is always superior. We really enjoyed our dinner.
Classic Steak House in New location after many years in West Hollywood. Nice vibe, good food, a la carte sides.
Had a wonderful, healthy dinner with great service. Really enjoyed the dining experience.
The wait staff is incredible. Very quick service. The Chilean Sea Bass is beyond compare. Best I've had. I also recommend the creamed spinach as a side.
We love dining here. The moment we walk in we are greeted. We have a favorite table and we ask for it when we make our reservation. We are accommodated with a smile. And the food. Well, my husband usually orders a lobster. This time a mist delicious steak. And for an appetizer, the best calamari in town. Add the bread and no kidding, the butter is hard to stop consuming. We are ardent fans.
Friendly and attentive service. Excellent food. One of the best ribeye steaks ever!
Quality Meals at this location - yummy. Cool location to meet with coworkers. The place has a cool atmosphere.
March 2019 Dining Adventure The Palm Beverly Hills...an oldie, but a not so goodie. Not very impressed with my experience here. The staff was friendly, no complaints there. The ambiance was exactly what other reviewers have mentioned...mostly old white people with a sprinkle of young foodie Asians. I could see my menu and hear my dining companion, which was a welcome change from the upstairs dining room at Mastro's (see my most recent Mastro's review). The bar area was busy, but the entire middle table section of the restaurant was empty at 7:30pm on a Monday night. The food...eh. This is where they lost me. We ordered from the seasonal menu that they were still offering. The pear/blue cheese salad was good. We split it between two of us, and it was still a nice portion of salad. I appreciated that they served us the split salad individually. Not all places do that. The coffee rubbed filet lacked flavor and was overcooked. I asked for medium rare, and it was more like medium well, which ruins a steak for me. We ordered the creamed spinach and three cheese potatoes as sides. My favorite part of this dinner was that they give you the option to order sides as "individual portions," which was more than enough for two people. Often times the sides are huge and we leave with leftovers, which I don't mind if the food is good. The creamed spinach tasted slightly off to me. The potatoes were ok. For dessert, we were deciding between the chocolate peanut butter pie and the chocolate cake. Our waiter suggested the chocolate cake, so we went with his suggestion. Bleh. I usually love all cake and do not discriminate, but this was cold and hard and obviously straight outta fridge. We left at least half of it and neither one of us wanted to take the rest home. They have some club you can join that they presented to us, and as I politely declined all I could think in my head was how I would probably never come back. Bonus: the lights are turned up perfectly for us to read the menus (I'm side-eyeing you Mastro's). Bogus: the food is mediocre and steak was overcooked. Will I be back? No. Just walk across the street for much better food at Mastro's.
Cocktails were perfect. Best Monday Night Salad I’ve had in months. The filet was a perfect medium rare and Pasquale brought the special mix of the Coleman’s mustard Thanks for a perfect night
Customer service was phenomenal. Food was delicious. Drinks were stiff. All around good but pricey.
Never had a bad meal here. A bit pricey, but worth it.
Great steakhouse and very consistent
Shared a rib eye with my wife on Halloween evening. The staff and the mood is great. The quality of the experience is high. Looking forward to returning again.
Had a tasty burger here. Classy interior, friendly staff, free 2hr parking next door. Happy days. Will be back for my next fancy Beverly Hills lunch!
My boyfriend and I came for a late Valentine's dinner. Reservations are very important because clearly this place is popular. We were blown away by how amazing everything was. Our waiter, dinner, and bottle of wine made our night perfect. I ordered the 5lb lobster and it was fantastic. In addition, the my boyfriend ordered the tbone porterhouse describing it as full flavored. We will definitely be coming back for special occasions.
We attended a charity event & congrats to The Palm for their generosity for charity causes. It means so much to the community plus the food was awesome! Sliders to lamb chops to sea food everything was delicious.
Exceptional steak restaurant with a wide menue. Great food and service.
Excellent food and service!
Storied chain serving high-end steakhouse fare, seafood & diverse wines in clubby surrounds.
Wow, great service and quality meal as always.
The experience is amazing from the warm welcome to the very attentive staff and waiters. Not to mention the discreet attention to VIPs abound. I have my favorite table there which I’m not telling so you don’t take it! But they always try to make it available. I do all my business luncheons there unless my guests can’t. I go to the NY location as well as much as I can.
great menu. jumbo shrimp is out of these world, iceberg wedge salad to die for and you can not find Asparagus Fritti with lemon garlic butter any where else. I am just not too impressed lately with the service during lunch at both downtown and beverly hills locations. perhaps off days and I have to say it was extremely busy with large events. It won't stop me from going though. thanks guys
Service was excellent .steak portion was very good we order $99 New York steak strip portion for two or three people but it was big enough to eat four .we order two orders of Caesar salad they split to four dishes. steak cooked just the perfect and after birthday candle cheesecake arrived on the house that was very nice.
My husband and I really enjoyed our date night here. Great food and nice overall ambiance inside. We love this restaurant, it never disappoints.
Sweet summer lobster special
Great spot
Great place! Very delicious food! Friendly atmosphere!
My favorite steak house in LA. I love their ceasar salad, crab cakes, lobster, cream spinach, and the rib eye...just to name a few. The new york style ambience is great, little loud, spacious, and casual. A definite Beverly Hills go to, the Palm Downtown is great as well.
Ok so the only reason I can't do a full 5 stars is because two members of my party food came out bad. They ordered twice and both times their food was extremely below par. My dinner was great. I just felt bad because they could not enjoy themselves. My recommendation don't order the Salmon.
This place is pricey --however for lobster there is no better place in the city. They have specials to watch for where you get 3 courses for the price of one. It is worth the price for a special date night.
Always amazing, impeccable service & food.
Memories of the old Palm flooded in when we stepped inside the modernized version of this famous steak, lobster, and burger joint-- management has tried to preserve some of the famous cartoonist drawings of the glitterati of old hollywood, but it simply isn't enough to put you in the old frame of mind. On the bright side, if retro is in, the Palm has got everything one needs to taste what the old Palm was all about: NY Strips, Filet mignon, Prime Rib, 3-lb lobsters, clams casino and oregano, mountains of breaded, fried onions, and one of the best burgers you'll find on the planet. All under a high, natural wood sprung ceiling. Old timey, white glove service and a staff that knows their food, their wine and most of all their clientele.
Nice food ,excellent service.thank you very much
Come for Happy Hour when the restaurant is relatively empty. The service is superb and the food divine!
Great food! First choice for business dinner
Love the Lobsters, the biggest lobsters you have ever seen! great wine. Staff can be very snobby as expected but just go to the bar till a table opens up. Cool bartenders. Valet parking as expected.
I tried this place I was expecting more
Always great martinis and love love their happy hour
Great service and great food
We dined at the Palm Beverly Hills on Sunday evening and everything was terrific however, my wife and I ordered the $99 lobster special and upgraded to a 5 pound lobster. The lobster served was at best 3 1/2 pounds served with one giant claw. I'm from the east coast, and fished Maine lobsters, and know lobsters. Not wanting to ruin our fine dinner I did not complain to the waiter or management since that would put a damper on our evening out. There are not a lot of places in LA where you can get a good Maine lobster and our long drive this past Sunday was a bit of a disappointment. We had the pleasure of being seated by Gigi Many many times at the old Palm Santa Monica location.
My fav place for quality Quality Meals. went there on a saturday. menu is similar to a restaurant in el paso i loved.
The Rib Eye outstanding, Service impeccable. Totally enjoyed it
The Palm restaurant provides a wonderful experience in dining. I love going there, which I do often, because it feels like a very chic, great food neighborhood restaurant that offers great service, wonderful food and a good amount of privacy which is lacking in many other restaurants. The front desk is responsive and intuitive to the customers. The service is immediate and friendly. You have the feeling of being in a club with people you know. Each hour of the day, early lunch through late dinner, you are offered a different dining experience, but all are special. The Palm gets an A for EVERYTHING…
Celebrated the East Coast countdown in the Boulevard Lounge. Lots of people from different locations throughout the the world. Friendly people. There was a very good band and singer performing. Very crowded as expected. Was a fun way to start a great evening! Beautiful decorations in the lobby!
Delicious, steak was perfect and tender. On par with Ruth's chris, if not a little bit better. Awesome service as well. Will definitely return.
