We've got all the opinions of people who consume the services of The Lakefront Restaurant (Restaurant) in the state of California.
Right now this firm gets a score of 4.4 over 5 and the score is based on 59 reviews.
You may have noticed that it reaches an opinions average is really positive, and it's founded on a large number of feddbacks, so we can say that the score is quite reliable. If many people have bothered to evaluate when they are pleased with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to write evaluations when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant is included in the category of American restaurant.
Nice location, nice food, nice service.
We truly at like kings today for lunch at Lakefront. Heard dinner was even better! We had a huge group and the staff there was truly amazing land attentive. Shala, Aubrey and Drake were exceptional, the food couldn't have been better, and the setting tied it all into a perfect experience. Thank you for such wonderful hospitality : )
Chef: Patrick Jacobus There have been several restaurants I have been honored to dine with family, friends, colleagues, mentors, authors and anonymous medical or educational geniuses and I would not hesitate to take one or all to “The Lakefront.” This restaurant is an aesthetic, melodic and culinary delight and reservations are necessary. Manager takes care of details and does not miss a thing. Table seating is reminiscent of the kind given to "stamtisch" meaning regulars in German. Ryan who served us along with Kelly brought class and service paired to level we enjoyed at Addison’s. Wonderful to see Ryan on both days of our dining adventures---one day he wore a red shirt and next day a blue shirt. Risotto is amazing paired with the ethereal watermelon salad and in the lounge we were delighted by the romantic creations of John Gray. Music flowed in and laughter dominated our conversations. Overall The Lakefront is a 5 star establishment. Romantic and charming . See you soon, Ryan, Kelly and Jack.
Best place to eat in the Sierra.
It's a very old restaurant. I like it very much.
Nice place. Too nice for my liking. I prefer a place where you can buy a burger and not worry about being proper.
Victor is an awesome bartender and quite personal. Thank you for your recommendations and adding to our experience here. When we, guests, all come in at once, it can be a bit overwhelming. You'll be greeted and treated as if your the only guests, one after the other. Just what you hope for at remote locations. Delicious. Thanks to all the staff.
We are five guys on our yearly ski trip and were fortunate to make reservations at this wonderful restaurant. Paul was very accommodating when I called in mid-January and booked us. When we arrived on time, we were seated on time and were served by a competent staff lead by Judy Abramowitz who was our waitress. Judy was extremely patient and accommodated the changes to some of the dishes with great substitutions options. All of us had a great dinner experience and agreed that this place was a great find that we will go back to anytime we are in Mammoth.
A favorite
The food is excellent, service is amazing and all of that at a most beautiful location.
Great service. Our picky eater daughters found something they like in the menu, with some adjustments.
Great food. A tad pricey but worth it
The dining and service was fantastic, the reservation system was not. The Fulton Farm Chicken and grits was amazing. The Roasted Summer Squash the same. Great craft beers and wines. Ice Cream and Sorbet produced on premise. Knowledgable, spot on service. A 90 year old lodge with a great feel. All good. There was/is a problem in the reservation system. We called at 2 in the afternoon as we approached Mammoth and got a recording that says "Leave a message and we will call you back, don't bother to call the front desk, we will call you back, and leaving this message does not guarantee you a reservation." Then, inexplicably, we did not get a call back. When we registered at the Tamarack we had to go to the restaurant desk where we heard that for some reason (assistant manager had to leave?) they did not check messages that afternoon. Made for a bad first impression that nearly led us to dine elsewhere. We were glad we did not!
The food was amazing, especially the wild mushroom risotto.
The GM is absolutely terrible.
This was quite a good surprise. We arrived quite late and with no reservations. The staff was very friendly to let us come in and got us a last-minute table. The place looks like an alpine chalet, very cozy. The food was delicious, we had the bass and the duck (I was quite surprised to find duck with Brussels sprouts in the menu in the beginning of June) and they were perfectly cooked. The wine list had also more option than I expected. Overall, a nice place to come for dinner, with emphasis to the food and staff.
Great food and drinks, well worth the price
Fabbulous dining experience while visiting Monument Valley! Superb ambiance, impressive menu, and and without a doubt, superior service. After we were ushered to a cozy deck table by amiable General Manager- Paul Ginise, we enjoyed a truly delicious lunch. Paul certainly made us feel welcomed and was inconspicuously viligent throughout our meal. He is a master at his job. Any visitor dining at Lakefront Restaurant would be most fortunate to have Chris Foster tend to them as their server. He is, without a doubt, superb. His upbeat , positive demeanor was further enhanced when he magically anticipated our requests- all the while being attentive, efficient, charming, and personable. Both Paul and Chris are true talents and hopefully recognized as valuable assets to Mammoth Resorts. Kuddos to this "dynamic duo" for succeeding in making our luncheon culinary experience a most memorable one. Wishing them continued success, The Workleys' Reno, NV.
Not a fan of bad reviews, but there were 5 of us and all 5 were greatly disappointed with this place. Very small portions with little to no taste, grilled shrimp appetizer was half burned half dirty from the grill. Sea bass on a bed of tasteless disgustingly looking mushrooms was bad as well. Three starts to the elk stakes and solid four stars on cocktails. By the way, there is no lake view and the place is kind of old and smelly inside, you might lose your appetite if you use their restroom prior to your meal. Don't get mislead by nice pictures.
High quality food. Definitely an award winning restaurant.
We randomly came to this place when travelling with my kids. Now I want to drive all the way from Bay Area to Mammoth Lakes (good 8 hour drive) just to show this place to my spouse. Food is beyond excellent. I'm a mushroom lover and was pleasantly surprised to find multiple mushroom dishes on the menu. I tired them all that nice and they were great. Apparently the Chef (who's also the owner) spends his time to pickup mushrooms in the local forest. He refused to share the spots as soon as he knew I'm Russian :) Any time I'm back to Mammoth Lakes I'm looking forward to dine there again.
Charming lodge...Lovely restaurant with nice lunch menu. (Dinner menu looked good too.) Sat outside on patio across street from lake with great view of small lake. Had salad and salmon. Delicious. Excellent service. Inside very small, intimate, romantic for dinner. 10 tables? Recommend you check it out!
FYI, this place is insanely expensive for what you get. The food, location, and service are great, but I don't understand how any restaurant can justify charging at least $50 for a small main course and no sides. On top of that, it was around $44 for the cheapest half a bottle of wine. It also costs $40 roundtrip to get a cab from mammoth village. I've eaten in better, Michelin star restaurants around the world which are half the cost.
This is a cozy restaurant with twelve tables, it is best to make a reservation. Excellent French food, I love their specials. It is a bit expensive.
Nos gustó mucho la comida en especial el venado, ambiente acogedor y buena atención del servicio, un poco caro¡¡
If you're looking for a cozy upscale log cabin vibe for dinner, this is the place. We went for the Christmas Eve prix- fixe and not only was the food delicious but the energy was very festive. The menu had goose or salmon as entre options along with soup, salad and dessert. Service was great but he dining room is small so make sure you make a reservation early.
No good
Dinner reservations strongly encouraged for this small restaurant that serves local fish, meat, and vegetables in a cozy dinning room overlooking the lake.
We had an exceptional meal at the Lakefront Restaurant at Tamarack Lodge just outside of Mammoth. The beat salad was amazing. The squash soup was fantastic, and the elk was spot on. Our server Sarah was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. The menu is short, but there are plenty of options. The wine list is very strong, with decent prices. We were there on a snowy night, so we did not have much of a view, but the view of the lake is wonderful. If you are in Mammoth, this is a real gem.
Nice
Food was excellent however service was mediocre.
We had the besr time! Delicious, intimate, friendly, lovely location . ..perfect for a special evening!
Great Dinner and service, more European Stil kitchen we really appreciate.
The dining room is small (and very cozy) which can reflect on the prices but really, when I have a great meal, I don't mind. We had the elk with huckleberry sauce, brussel sprouts salad (appetizer) and the coulant (molten chocolate cake). Everything was well presented (a real attention to details) and really tasty. Service is good - they give you the attention you need but they let you enjoy your companion's presence (no waitress filling you wine glass every 2 minutes to make sure you order more wine - yay!). I would go back anytime we are out skiing in Mammoth and have a special occasion to celebrate. (-) Wine list should be updated. Brought us a 2013 vintage rather than the 2012 indicated.
My wife and I went here to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. The food was amazing, as was the service provided by our server Kelly.
Food is always amazing and the best staff in the world i recommend to everyone, very fine dining (:
Really great appetizers and main menu. Desserts good, if you have room for them. Nice wine list and a full bar. RSVP A MUST and do so in advance!!!
Amazing food and a staff to match!!
Too pricey
这家1924年就开张的水岸餐厅真的好特别,餐点很精致,环境却是个老木屋。点了一份烤小鹿肉,非常非常喜欢!哎,总而言之呢,有人开车就是好,我可以一路喝酒!
We stayed in the cabins for like 3 days and the service is the best, the people are so friendly and it has a good home feel to it
Its mommath CA.
The food is really great. I come up here for dinner every time I'm in Mammoth.
(Translated by Google) Restaurant ok, but bad taxi service. They picked me up with a vegetable van and even wanted $ 100 for 1 mile. (Original) Ristorante ok, ma pessimo servizio di taxi. Mi sono venuti a prendere con un furgone da ortaggi e hanno pure voluto 100$ per 1 miglio.
The pheasant was very tasty and lovely live entertainment
Good food good service good View
