We had a very large party for our dinner at Tahoe Joes. The server was attentive and quick. Everyone said that their food and drinks were really good. We also had a birthday cake we brought in and they were more than helpful with accommodating that. Definitely a good experience and would go back again for sure. If you are going at what would typically be a busy time, you may want to call about a reservation.

A very good meal with fantastic service. A server was patient and pleasant. She knew right away that there was a bday in our party and offered a dessert. The food portions were large and all of us had take out boxes. All the meals were thumbs up by the party. I had the steak salad. I highly recommend it. Tasty and satisfying.

Pretty decent American food at reasonable prices, considering they're trying to be a slightly more upscale steakhouse than the average. Generous portions of classic American stuff such as baked potato, extremely ordinary salads (it's not from a bag, but it doesn't feel much more inspired), cuts of meat are decent enough. Hard to get excited about it, but at the same time, hard to say they do anything poorly either.

Haven't been here in years and brought all those great memories back, service was excellent, staff was always ready to serve, we ordered two steak dinners house specials and they were fantastic, price was very fair for two and just an all around enjoyable evening out.

Main dish came out immediately after the soup. Main dish was cold and both plates missing the vegetables we asked for. Almost like they gave us plates already prepared. Then they brought out the broccoli that was missing at the normal time the plates should have come out, broccoli was nice and hot and steaming. This was supposed to be a special dinner, we were looking forward to our dinner. The service was just ok, even though waitresses were super nice. Very disappointed

Yummy yummy yummy!!!! the food is always great. Steak is always tender. We typically gets the Tahoe Joe's steak. If you don't like your meat to have a real spicy flavor then don't get it rolled a second time in the pepper. We have yet to ever get a tough steak there. The other food is always very tasty. We've enjoyed every experience there and believe me we've been there plenty!!!

Great place for wood smoked meals. No wait for us tonight and we had a party of 15! The weekends its packed though and will take awhile to get a table but worth it at the end. Their menu has everything a steakhouse should have. They have a large bar and a patio with monsters in the summer and heaters in the winter. This place is very family oriented and fair priced for the most part.

Service was terrible took 10 mins the the bar seating to get waited on or even acknowledged. There were 6 people standing around to punch in orders or drinks by the bar yet no one came to help us.. then when one did it was still horrible the lady talked bad about the bartender saying she was new right to us. And the food was gross this use to be our favorite place to eat and drink sadly the foods lost its taste and is seriously gross. And the service is Terrible.

One of my favorte chain restaurants. Favorite menu items include coconut shrimp, steaks, and their famous cheesecake for dessert. Great bar atmosphere for those that imbibe. Reservations suggested during evenings and weekends. Seating wait times can be long if they are busy. Limited seating in waiting area. Service tends to be slow most times during dining, especially if you order drinks from the bar.

I'd give this place 5 stars if their regular service is like their pickup service.....I didn't eat here...but our to go order was totally 5 stars as it was a last minute dinner change for 12 people and we got ....we got 10 star compliments. Okay, changed to 5 at the end. (Get extra rolls on to go orders...trust me)

This is my second favorite restaurant in town. The food here always tastes fresh and amazing. It's packed with so much flavor and it's always amazing. I love ordering their steak nachos and getting their homemade rolls. I would recommend this place to someone who loves a good steak wood grilled steak

Tahoe Joe's is very good for a local chain steak house. We had great service and my filets were prepared perfectly (medium rare). I definitely recommend going if you are in town or reside here permanently. You can't really go wrong with their menu and their cheesecake dessert was excellent.

A friend referred me to Tahoe Joe's and stated it was the best steak in town. I will say the Railroad shrimp during happy hour were delicious, the rice pilaf was fantastic but the twin petite filets were just ok. Service was great and little to no wait.

One of my favorite restaurants. Service is decent. Virginia city filet mignon, fat baked potatoes dressed table-side, cheesecake, and steak jackpot nachos are all faves. Insider tip: fried artichoke hearts are an off-menu app that make the drive all the way across town worth it! One of the few places left that take call ahead seating. Green beans are not what they used to be but the new wood grilled asparagus side is a perfect replacement.

I hate it! Their meat tastes like cheap bologna. I ordered their Prime rib and left so disappointed. It’s the first time I refused to finish my food. Service was decent, that’s why I gave 2 stars. 1 star for the food. Do yourself a favor and go to outback instead.

Very upset with service we received or should I say the service we didn't receive, we show up for dinner around 830pm on a very slow Tuesday night, if it wasn't for my wife speaking up we would have never been approached this is after we have been patiently waiting for 15 to 20 mins, and this is after many servers walked right past us to help other guest and for 20 mins no one even approached us, so we had to ask to speak to a manager and even his approach was rude as if we were at fault, we decided to leave and not have dinner here, We have been here plenty of times before it's our favorite dinner spots and we always send easily over 100 plus here too bad we wont be returning again

This is a great place if you want a good cut of beef, or seafood. I’ve ordered their ribeye, mid rare and it was cooked to perfection, marbled with perfectly. my wife got the temporary shrimp camp railroad appetizer and it was delicious! Service was timely and our waitress was friendly! I highly recommend this place to eat!

The hostess at the front whose name was Blaze was very sweet, nice and professional which started the visit off extremely well. Great first impressions choice. Our server's name was Carson and she was fantastic! She was super busy and still took great care of our rather large party. She was very professional, kind and helpful with ordering and refills. We asked a few other servers for some small things and they were great as well in coordinating with Carson. Food was great. Over all experience was wonderful thanks to these ladies.

The staff us super friendly here and tr food is delivered promptly The meat and steaks are below what id expect from something that calls itself a steak house. The joe steak special is really a tri tip cut that is overdone. If you know that cut, you know this means it is super tough and inedible. one time we had a prime rib here and it was hard. I only really go here out of convenience

I like a good steak when it's cooked well. I ordered mine medium rare. With baked potato and the fixin's. When a steak is cooked well, you don't need to add A1 sauce or anything else to it. It's just cooked well and juicy. I was disappointed. The ribeye was somewhat medium rare that's very dry. Unfortunately I had to use a lot of A1 sauce. My wife ordered the salmon. Is too was dry.
