Quick and fresh poke bowls. Great flavors, with good options (but not too many). I got the small poke bowl with tuna and forbidden (black) rice and loved it for lunch. Crispy onions, carrots, and bean sprouts gave it crunch. Garlic gochujong gave it a wonderful savory flavor, and there was plenty of raw tuna, even for a small bowl. Lunch was under $10. If I lived here, I'd be back every week.

Solid, fresh poke. Good number of options and tasty. Got the large spicy yuzu salmon which could've had a bit more salmon. The yuzu suace was also a bit too tangy and could've been a bit more balanced. Service was very friendly and attentive and they have free refills on the in-house iced tea and lemonade. I would give this 3.5 stars as this is a solid place. I would go back again to see if the other poke dishes might elevate my score.

Tasty and fresh! You can mix-and-match to make your own or you can order from one of their preselected creations. It is always been crowded every time that I've been here. Not a lot of seating area. I suppose you can always take it to go and find a nearby park. Delicious!

I recently tried this place for the first time and was not at all disappointed. I got the Spicy Tuna and my friend got the Sriracha Tuna. We both enjoyed our bowls, but agreed that Spicy Tuna was our favorite of the two. It had a creamier sauce which we liked. It was a nice level of spice--enough to give me a kick but not make me regret my life choices (I'm kind of a baby with spice). The small was plenty to fill us up for a standard meal. They had Cucumber Mint Lemonade that day as well. 10 out of 10 would recommend. So refreshing! The staff was helpful and friendly. Best thing about this place was the price tag. Everything is a reasonable price. This can be a standard spot, rather than a special occasion treat.

My first poke bowl experience was amazing. We came in about 25 minutes before close, so there wasn't anybody else there (a stark difference to anytime during the day). The woman who helped us walked me through all of the options and offered some suggestions as well. The bowl was fresh and delicious. I went with the Spicy Tuna and it was fantastic. If you like fancy fish that has no fish come here. Portions are small (a large is equivalent to a small at other popular poke places) ingredients are fresh but they don't give much of any one item. If you’re looking to try something unique this is the spot for you but if you're more interested in the classic poke experience look elsewhere

Sweetfin was loud, cramped, hot, and terrible for a sit-down lunch. For the price, the amount of fish in an expensive "large" bowl was very disappointing. They mixed up my order (charged for avocado, but never got it), as well as the order of the table sitting next to me. There are two other Poke places within two blocks of Sweetfin. Both have much nicer seating, provide much more fish for the money, and are of the same or better quality. Try one of those instead.

Crowded at lunch. They don't know how to handle high volume, so be prepared to stand awkwardly among the few seats that are always full-- then to wait awkwardly in a tiny corner beside the bathroom while they make your order. Good food, terrible service plan.

Easily the best of the poke places that have popped up in the area. Consistent fresh fish, perfectly seasoned bamboo rice, and addictively delicious sauces. I'd recommend my favorite, but it's too hard to pick just one. Try any of their existing recipes - and feel free to customize it to your liking.

I wish we had one of these in Denver. So good! It's like sushi mixed with Tokyo Joes with unique ingredients that you can add. You can add up to 5 ingredients for free!! For ex. I did charred habanero, mango and cilantro to my spicy tuna bowl. The small size was very filling.

This place is trying to be different than usual Poke places, but the cashier has no patience when asked all the questions that their “being different“ generates; not to mention you can’t see the food before you order it, like any other poke place. On top of that, the avocado was not fresh (black), something couldn’t catch as I ordered to go. Don’t trust the reviews that says this place is amazing or has good food. They are written by people with low standards and probably don’t know the difference between fresh and not fresh. Don’t waste your trip going over there. Go to any other normal Hawaiian poke place.

Surprisingly delicious! Fresh fish and healthy ingredients plus an array of toppings to choose from, definitely a must try when you're out in Santa Monica. Although a bit pricey and the portion is small, you can be sure that the food is light and yummy :) My daughter just tried out some poke bowls in Hawaii and Sweetfin is not bad at all in comparison. I got a classic tuna bowl with rice and crispy garlic toppings, very delicious and I want more...LOL. Anyway, give it a try if you like raw fish. Happy tasting!

My first time there I wasn't really familiar with poké, so it was really helpful that they had a "Signature Poké" list. They list all of the ingredients in the particular bowls so you can eventually get an idea of what goes well with what, and eventually what you like. It's really helpful for someone who is a super novice when it comes to poké. Over time I've been able to build my own bowl which is a great option for those who are used to eating poké. All of the ingredients are fresh and taste fantastic. Service is great and speedy. I highly recommend it!

Ordered a salmon bowl, but didn't receive it until half an hour after. They told me that they were looking for my order, but didn't bring it up. When I opened it, I was extremely displeased to see a live maggot inside! I was horrified, as raw fish is extra risky when kept in sub par conditions. I prefer to take my money to a better maintained poke place.

That’s one of my favorite restaurants in LA. I love it’s Hawaiian Bowls!!! The bowls are made with fresh ingredients like salmon, tuna, shrimps, rice, edamame, etc. you can customize your bowl as you want. There are other restaurants of this brand in LA and in San Diego. Unfortunately I live in Italy, so I can’t eat it more often.
