We have eaten here five times in the last year and 4 of 5 experiences have been fantastic; with one visit only being less than perfect. The 4 perfect visits we had the tasting menu with wine pairing. The one time we ordered off the menu was for lunch and was only great not exceptional. Service is as good as it gets and the food is crazy good. Even the one dish that was not my favorite (Squab) was still good (my wife disagrees. Squab is baby pigeon and she could not get over it, but she is sitting next to me and still insists she just doesn't like the taste). They serve at least 12-15 different tastes and the wine pairings are incredible. We have a server we really like, but the reality is that all of our interactions with the staff have been great.

It was good. I'm knocking one star for the lack of a good old salad on the menu. The menu sets you up for a first, second and third course to then be followed by dessert. The only salad in the first was an endive salad which was good. But I kinda expected a bit more in the first course, as I had my heart set for the New York A-5... and I thankful skiped the mid course, not for anything else than my waistline... i over eat too much already... the New York was perfectly cooked, and the garnish perfect. The sauce put it over rhe top. Fantastic. But only needed as a bonus. As the steak was perfect. So I only dabbed two or three times at the sauce I drizzled on my plate. Service from Jason was very well done. I hope my benefactors tipped him well...and even then he deserved more. Service across the board was well done...from the valet to the wait staff, tou could not want for more. Fantastic job to everyone. But Chef Puck, I need o e traditional salad on your menu to give all five stars.

Enjoyed my meal. One of the best pieces of steak I've ever had. Can't remember what I had to drink. It was spicy and had jalapeno in it. It was just as good. The service was great too, the staff were all smiles and very friendly.

My husband made rsvp for my birthday and he was in contact with them multiple times to make sure that they do provide special birthday desserts or something and they did confirm multiple times too but nothing was provided for the event so my husband was very disappointed but the food was good (but not exceptionally good compare to other michelin star restaurants) with good atmosphere too. service was ok. hostesses were very nice ! But everything else could be better tho.

Everything I expected and more!! I gotta give the recognition to everyone starting with the valet guys and staff all of the hard workers were super friendly and sweet to me exceptional service!! The food was amazing fresh full of complex flavors. I was served in a timely manner. My taste buds were in heaven!! The atmosphere was amazing. I went on a Thursday and it was a full house. Everyone was having an awesome time. The different rooms were stunning and clean. I would deff be coming visiting again!! Very impressed and pleased!!

I recommend checking this lovely restaurant out if you can. I eat out a lot & have been wanting to come here for a while. The space inside is approachable & clean. All of the staff was really sweet here. We tried many things on the menu for lunch & really only had one thing we didn't love. I definitely want to try the prefix menu next time we are in. We also had the pleasure of meeting Wolfgang himself & he is extremely laid back & kind.

We probably should have known that Spago would feel touristy -- (people dining in sweatshirts, lots of kids even at 10 pm, etc) but this institution had a Disney cruiseship feel and not a romantic night out feeling. The food is good, but the entire experience was the least interesting dining we had in the LA area. The service is impersonal and rushed and the packed dining room felt bustling, but not in a good way.

My husband and I visited Spago Beverly Hills before heading back home to Australia. We enjoy fine dining in Australia so we were super excited to experience what Spago had to offer. The service was second to none and our waiter was exceptional and definitely provided a great customer experience. The food was good but not great, unfortunately. Our entree of Octopus which had great flavours and was very tender, lacked seasoning. We also ordered a lobster black inc pasta which was definitely 5/5 for us - the meal was flavoursome and was very unique. My husband felt the lobster was slightly overcooked but still a great meal! Finally, our mains were lamb rack and a New York Strip which were both generous portions but again, lacked seasoning. The wines were lovely, although quite pricey for what they were. We were visiting Spago as part of honeymoon and we were surprised to have had the waiters bring out some cookies and a candle in celebration. We truly appreciated this gesture and definitely added to the great customer experience we had with our waiter. Overall, a lovely place with great vibes and good service.

Came in expecting this place to be less in every aspect than CUT Beverly Hills due to the fact that they weren’t awarded a Michelin star for 2019 like CUT was. I completely underestimated this place and it turned out to be a better dinner than CUT was although it’s no Arpège. The food, the service, and the ambiance certainly exceeded expectations. Bryan definitely is of great value to the team as well as Andre and chef Niccol. Fantastic experience and will return when I visit LA again.

I would never visit this place again. As an Asian tourist, I received poor treatment in this restaurant. From the moment we stepped in, we were asked what we were doing here and were squeezed into the smallest table, despite there being many empty tables around. So, so good! We went on vacation and had to bring our 2 year old with us. They were so accommodating of our child and shared some off menu items with us for kid's options. Our server was incredibly nice and attentive. Great ambiance and decor. The off menu pizzas are great and the agnoletti is one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had.

My experience with Spago is interesting, as it started bad but ended very well. When you first walk in, you think you are in a disco, because is dark and music is loud. Our table was not ready and we waited at the bar. The service so far fine, not not very warm. I order some white wine, and it was not cold enough, but served anyway. I returned the glass, and it was fine. At the table, the waiter was more friendly, but not very attentive to small details (he forgot the bread, and it arrived with the starters). When the food arrived, things have changed: it was amazing! We had mostly fish-based dishes and they were all well presented and very tasty. The blueberry-merengue dessert was also really good. But the highlight was meeting Wolfgang in person, which I wasn’t expecting. In summary, delicious food worthy trying, if you don’t mind some noise and a slightly sloppy service.

Went for parents’ anniversary early evening Saturday. The reception was warm and friendly. We had a London Calling cocktail which was very smooth. The service was excellent, they really take care of you. Food was the star of the show. Uni on bone marrow was delicious, lamb entree was cooked beautifully, and chocolate soufflé is very generous in terms of portion. Best of the best in LA.

Great ambiance, great staff. Service is always very attentive. You get that you pay for. Classic place in a classic area with classic people. WOLFGANG even came out after dinner to say hi, as a good host does.

This place, obvious, stuns the senses and leaves you feeling very full and satisfied. I kept forgetting to take pictures of the food before diving in. Cozy dining experience though sometimes it felt a little too quiet or close to others. Nothing drastic though. The food was fantastic and the service was impeccable. The menu is structured into 3 servings though you can pick and choose from any course. They also have a "secret" menu if you ask your server. Most of the time its the favorites. Definitely worth it if you are stuck on ordering something.

Worst dinner ever. We booked a table for two, and when we walked in on time they hold us at front door for five minutes without reason. Once we sat down, no one come with menus for another ten minutes. Finally when some one come to answer questions, they didn’t give us the chef’s menu for the day and went back to take. The wine I picked run out, so they sent someone to talke to me for another one, this didn’t piss me off but how long this took piss me off. The fun just start. During the courses serving, they didn’t give us forks for two times. I have to tell them in person to speed the process, TWO TIMES. We walked in with smiles and joy, only half way through I already felt the money is wasted and night is ruin.

I went for the Texas Film Commission event so we didnt have to pay. But i can add that the food was delicious and the service staff was friendly. There was valet parking, but we found street parking on the corner. The restaurant looked small from the outside but was actually a pretty large place. They have outside seating as well. I highly recommend the cherry cobbler. There was also a corn pasta which was phenomenal!

Bit of a wait despite making a reservation long in advance. Meal was very nice, menu in no way is resting on its laurels. The more modern inventive small plates we opened with were delicious, the expensive steak entree was the least interesting part of the meal. But a small quibble on the whole.

Food Most of the dish we ordered for lunch was delicious except for the seabass. It was a little on the dry side. But everything from the tuna tartar to the salmon pizza to the dessert was great. A great balance of flavor and freshness for each dish Service Our server Will, he was definitely very helpful. Gave us alot of good recommendations. Check up on us periodically. Food came out in a timely manner. Definitely will be coming back. Next time try coming for dinner.

We've been coming here for nearly twenty years since they opened. One thing about Spago....it is consistent in both food and service quality. One of my favorite entrees I've ordered here was the bacon wrapped pork leg. OMG, it was so good. The Keluga Caviar is really good. A friend had the Japanese A-5 NY steak; it looked really good. No matter how often we come to Spago, the service and food are always superior.

I have been here now for more than 6 times I believe and it is always top notch, always. The service, the food and the ambiance is simply what you expect in a restaurant like the Spago. You feel like home when you come here. I did a little bit of research and found out that it belongs to Wolfgang Puck, a Chef from Austria and Austria is famous for Wiener Schnitzel, best part is, they serve it here in L.A. and it is very very delicious. Come here and try it out - you’ll love it!

This restaurant is not for the frugal taste buds. This is for the foodie who loves exploring various flavor combinations and a variety of creative menu selections. I hate to lessen the quality of the dishes with the following descriptions but in the interest of time... We had the octopus ceviche, octopus ink pasta, the salmon pizza and the Caviar. All were so worth the experience. If you're on a budget, perhaps request to have your dishes divided into shared plates like we did. The icing on the cake was when Wolfgang Puck himself came out of the kitchen and took a few pictures with us. Probably the coolest experience ever.

Danny and Eric we're great as was the rest of the staff. The cuisine was wonderful and met my expectations save for the rabbit, but that was because of temp not taste. I came very late, sitting outside had a bit of a chill and far away from the kitchen. I recommend it as the flavor was absolutely there, but would try it again but under different conditions. That said, everything was excellent, especially the black truffle tagliatelle, which was thinner and more delicate than expected. A good thing indeed. The truffles were fresh, generous with flavor complimented by a sauce that simply coated the pasta and was seasoned perfectly. The space was comfortable and beautiful. As always a wonderful time and a nice treat after a long week, plus where else can you get Krug by the glass? Ask for Danny if he's available to attend to your table. Superior and personable service. Thanks everyone.

Great place to be seen. The food was not quite up to what we expected we were hoping for a French Laundry experience. The Grill Master must have been having a bad night for we ordered the wagyu beef and it was so charred on the outside that that's all you can taste you couldn't enjoy the true flavor of the Japanese beef perfectly marbled. I have had a contrasted experience about Spago. On the one hand, it is undeniable that the food at Spago is of superior quality than other restaurants in Los Angeles, and well-prepared. I wouldn't qualify it as exceptional, but it is good, and made with fresh ingredients. The staff was particularly attentive as they wished my partner "Happy Birthday" right as we entered the restaurant, and again at the table. The waiter was friendly and cheerful. Despite being a good restaurant with a nice ambiance, a few things could have improved my experience at Spago. Firstly, I called the restaurant three times before the birthday event to let them know about it. Twice the different ladies on the phone said that they could put a candle to whatever the birthday person would order for dessert. I was thus terribly disappointed when the one skinny candle came on a half broken meringue, and a few cookies after I made sure to order not one, but two desserts. Moreover, the name was not indicated on the birthday sign, although the lady on the phone assured me multiple times it would appear. I understand that these are "minor details", but because I took time to confirm three times with the restaurant before the event, I was disappointed. The error on Spago's part was that it was never my suggestion but theirs when I called to book for a birthday. I felt as if it were false advertising. If the two people on the phone had told me that the birthday actually just came on a few cookies, I would have been fine with it, but I wish I had known beforehand. Secondly, one of the dishes that we ordered was agnolotti, which was about $20 on the menu. The waiter asked me "would you like me to add some shaved truffle over it?", to which I replied "sure". You can imagine my surprise on the bill when the dish went from $20 to $70 without telling me about it. These are the few things that could have improved the experience, which was already quite alright.

This was our first time coming here, we don't typically go to places of this caliber but we wanted to try it for our anniversary. It was perfect! The service was excellent from the moment we walked in the door. The environment was clean and inviting, we felt very comfortable. The food was amazing, I've never had a better steak. To top it off, we actually sat next to Wolfgang on the patio, which was pretty cool. We'll definitely be back.

A few weeks before our trade show, we booked Spago’s small private room overlooking the fountains for a networking dinner with our business colleagues. When all was said and done, we were totally thrilled how smoothly our entire evening went. Our server and her supporting cast of professional helpers treated us like royalty. Each and every need of our guests was taken into full consideration that memorable evening, and our overall expectations were far exceeded! We thoroughly enjoyed the unsurpassable Spago ambiance as well as the incomparable menu selections. Might I mention that our glasses never ran dry the entire evening? To cap it off, the sumptuous desserts were a tremendous hit with everyone. Our entire group is still dreaming about that lemon dessert, wow! Every time we dine at Spago it is a fabulous event. On this occasion, it was so great to have a worry-free evening and simply enjoy ourselves along with our honored guests. Spago will always be among our top choices when dining in Vegas. If you’ve not tried it, you are surely missing out on an exceptional experience.

The food is obviously delicious but I was disappointed with how long the service took and the sizes of the actual meals. The bass with bok choy is absolutely delicious, one of the longest lasting items on the menu, and for good reason. I never think food that costs this much is worth it, but you really can't go wrong with any of the options.

Unfortunately i cannot recommend this place. The service and the staff was amazing and very very friendly, but we didn't like the food at all! We had 2 pizzas: ▪️one with san daniele prosciutto, cheese and peach. I didn't like the dough at all, i could bearly cut the pizza with the knife, and i also didn't like the peach on the pizza, it really wasn't my taste. ▪️my boyfriend had the salmon pizza and unfortunately the pizza arrived almost black, it was in the oven for way too long! The salmon was very good quality and tasted very fresh, but the dough ruined everything. He did absolutely not enjoy his pizza ▪️We wanted to give it another try and also ordered 2 desserts, a souffle and something like a big chocolate macaron, the macaron was good but i didn't like the souffle at all! ▪️We payed approx. 100$ for 2 pizzas and 2 desserts and i'm sorry to say this, but it was a waste of money. I cannot recommend the food here as i didn't like the taste of anything.

A California cuisine with many varieties and fusion of food. You may enjoy Japanese, Hong Kong and French style of foods in one meal. The business is really good, especially in the weekend. You may go in at 9:30 pm and finished after mid-night. The service is very good. American Wagyu is cooked very delicious. Corkage fee is charged at $50 per bottle.

Always an amazing time. I’m at Spago more then once a week usually for lunch or dinner and it’s always the same magical experience. The staff know my every wants and needs and make everything to perfection. From the runners to the management staff they know my name and how I enjoy my meal to be prepared. If you are looking for a five star meal and all the bells and whistles of a fine dining experience you’ve come to the right spot.

No wonder it has a legendary status in Hollywood! The place is discreet, understated class, with lots of open space yet dotted with nooks for acoustically favorable conversations during cocktails. Staff is dedicated and work like ninjas in suits. The private room we got was soundproof— I know I tend to be a stickler for noise. But the food trumps all superlatives. The Cabernet is sublime. The appetizer, whose name sadly escapes me, is a lively beef and cranberry marriage that sets the evening to a good start. Lobster on something like homemade penne can be a meal on its own. The salmon which I ordered must be finished, short of licking the plate clean—incomparable. Dessert is fantastic coffee ice cream coated with chiffon and hard dark chocolate, like a dark brown baseball escorted by raspberries and rose petals on the plate. Keto begone! A meal to remember for a lifetime.

Spago is MAGNIFICENT. Basking in the warm and attentive service, delicious bread basket, and top drawer veiner schnitzel, I was in heaven. Note for those looking at the menu online and worried the veiner schnitzel is not there: apparently this is an off menu item that is nevertheless always available. Good to know, right? Because seriously, I think it's the best entree they have.

This is one of the most amazing restaurants ever I know they say spago's and everyone tries to compare themselves against this place but they can't this is the original Beverly Hills restaurant if you really want to be treated like a king the right way with the most incredible creative food that you've ever taste in the world this is the place to go don't go anywhere else this is the original the most creative and the prices are actually pretty decent for this type of food

Mediocre food, cocktails and service. I was able to get a bar seat for one at 1730 without a reservation. They did have nearly half the bar seating reserved though. I got the corn chowder and the smoked salmon pizza. I don't have an issue for paying a premium for good food, but everything was unremarkable. The servers were more interested in chatting with the repeat customers and didn't explain the menu properly (they had a tasting menu I wasn't aware of until they told a different customer). I had to repeatedly remind them for initial water and dessert menu. The bread tray was probably the best dish.

Very upscale Beverly Hills 5 star restaurant. All the glam and fame is there. So is the price. But it's worth it. Treat yourself once in a while. We did the Dine LA food tasting. It was a pretty amazing experience. They take you to the kitchen to meet the head chef and his staff and explain what all section are. I thought that was pretty cool. They make their own bread fresh in house. The food was good. Something to experience. There is a $50 corkage fee. Then again their bottles of wines start at $50, so, you make the choice. All and all, it's a true Beverly Hills fine dinning experience.

I've always wanted to try Wolfgang's pizza and after doing some shopping on Rodeo Dr., we went to Spago for some lunch. We both had drinks, which were excellent. Probably the best jalapeno margarita in town. We ended up getting two different salads; I ordered the chicken salad while my girlfriend ordered the lobster salad, and we split a Margherita pizza. It was not on the menu, but our waiter assured they can satisfy our need. The salads were okay. Mine, the Guajillo Chicken Salad, was lacking greens and too heavy on the jicama. Her's, the lobster salad, was pretty good. Loaded with chunks of lobster, bacon, egg and a mix of greens. The pizza was excellent. Crust was perfect. Cheese was not overpowering and the heirloom tomatoes provided the perfect amount of acidity to balance out the other ingredients. Service was slow at first, but they were busy, so that's understandable. We ate outside and the environment was relaxing with a Spanish feel. Bill was $140 for two drinks, two salads and a 10" pizza. Was it worth it? Eh, while the pizza was great, my salad wasn't worth $26. Chicken was slightly overcooked and lacked the greenery of a traditional salad. Lobster Salad for $38. While it was good, it was perhaps one or two claws worth of meat on a mountain of greens. Quite a bit overpriced, but I guess your paying for the atmosphere, not the food.

I LOVE Spago. I have had many delicious meals with fantastic service (even with my young daughter-- they made a mickey mouse shaped pizza). Cocktails are interesting and perfectly balanced. I love the ambiance. It may be loud, but that is because people are enjoying themselves :)

It was my husbands birthday and we went to Spago having been recommended by a friend in LA. It was busy and hectic on arrival-we waited some time in the bar before getting our table and a considerable time after our reservation time. However our table was against the wall with a full view of the restaurant- was great as very much a windows of the world experience!! The service was exemplary and our waitress exceptional! The food was good but think the food is only part of the Spago experience !! Definitely one of the better places in LA!
