From the online reviews I expected a decent BBQ lunch. Wow, what a surprise! This was the best BBQ bar none I have ever had. One of us had the brisket tacos, the other had the daily deal with ribs, shredded BBQ pork, corn muffins and one side (slaw, potato salad or baked beans). Lots of food, and absolutely delicious. And great BBQ sauce! Can't wait to get back!

Food is good, sauce is on the sweet side and the hot sauce is not hot its more vinegary. The chicken was very good and the ribs are too and will come with one bite , the pulled pork was to sweet for my taste.

Placed an order over the phone for a party of 8 people. I wasn’t too familiar with their menu, the girl on the phone was really helpful and patient with me. I could hear the phones in the background ringing so I knew they were busy. She told me it would be ready in 20 minutes, when I arrived she went through the whole order and double checked to make sure everything was correct. She threw in some extra dipping sauces and was friendly and pleasant the whole time even though they were still busy. I brought the food to the office and my employees and I loved the ribs. I Highley recommend this place.

A rack of our Ribs were Burnt on one side covered with sauce, I thought they were more Chewy then we we got the Leftovers home we realised how Burnt they were! ! Also the Sides of Beans was SO0o Small I could not believe that was all they served. We all did Enjoy their Cornbread with Honey Butter! ? Would we go back ? I ate lunch at Mo’s today and I was impressed. I had pulled pork, ribs, and beans which were all excellent. The serving size was decent, especially for the price. Staff was friendly and the food came out relatively quickly. The only thing that I didn’t really like was the corn muffin that came as a side. However, the muffin is a small part of the meal and the prices are very reasonable so I’m still giving it 5 stars. I didn’t have any alcohol but there were some beers on tap, so I’d say this is a good place to have some awesome food and get buzzed without breaking the bank. I’m sure I’ll be back.

Somedays you come in to work and you just know it's a Mo's day. For us it's generally a Friday. I come in, get the Blue's Burger, fries, and a stein of beer, today's was the Secret Trails Porter. It was awesome! Great food, great beer, absolutely beautiful outdoor patio. My whole group had a great time. I hope Mo's never goes away. It will always be synonymous with Friday lunch for me.

Barbeque is on Point. I had the dinner special and it was a large portion, that afforded me leftovers to take home. the meat is so tender, it just falls off the bone. The outdoor patio is sweet.

We spent July 4th in Chico and decided to have lunch at Smokin' Mo's which ended up being a good choice. I have lived and travelled to most of the BBQ hotspots in the US including: St. Louis; South Texas; Memphis; Kansas City; South Carolina; etc. so my bar is set pretty high. This reminded me more of a Tennessee style than anything else. I had the shredded beef sammy and my son and his wife had a rack of ribs. Both were tender and smoky with a dense, dark sauce. The Cole slaw could have been better but the baked beans were pretty good. We paid about $12 per person and were very full.

Excellent Dining Experience The service was outstanding, The meal was excellent, I had the 6 rib combo and it was more than enough food but I muscled through it. The ribs were tender, true BBQ ribs, not boiled meat with sauce. The owners took the time to sit and talk awhile getting my opinion of the food. They asked which flavor ribs I liked best, to which I couldn't pick just one. It was interesting to find that prior to opening, Mr. McLeod went on a BBQ tour of the US to assist in the development of their menu. This can be seen in the pictures throughout the restaurant. Definitely a good reason to go back to Chico.

Huge portion sizes and friendly service. Got the simpler platter to share with my wife and it was more than enough for both of us to eat our fill. would definitely recommend the potato salad over the coleslaw and the beans are delicious. Ribs aren't quite fall off the bone, but very good. Pulled pork was the best part and the chicken was delicious as well. Very nice outdoor patio where you get privacy and a nice surrounding to eat your food.

Food not ģood. Meat was dry and not flavorful or tender. And we waited a long time for cold food. They served the crunchiest potato salad ever, had big chunks of onion and celery, no seasoning. WHO WANTS TO LISTEN TO THEIR POTATO SALAD AS THEY EAT IT! Yuck! They offered "honey butter" for the sweet corn bread muffin that looked like chai pudding..they added...and not in a good way nutmeg and cinnamon. I wished I could've paid my bill after eating instead of prior. Bbq sauce tasted like spicy ketchup .... again not in a good way. If there was a way to give no stars I would do that. Worst bbq ever...dang Chico...super disappointed. AT LEAST THE BEER WAS COLD!

Walked in at 7:54 pm. They said they were closing at 8. The restaurant had 4 couples in there. Basically it ended with me walking out and checking the time and no food. The website says 8:30. The guy at the counter said 8:30 ... but you are closing at 8. Something didn’t seem right.

Randomly picked Smokin Moe's while looking for some grub, was not disappointed. Friendly staff let our party finish eating and talking even though they were closed, never hurried or rushed us. Horrible place to go !! Every single time I go they "forget" my order and I have to wait 40 minutes to an hour ! And everyone that ordered behind me are already eating or getting ready to leave . This place gets a rare 5 point review. I love the three quarters of a rack concept. Perfect amount. You have to try the combo. All three sauces are excellent. And with all three together they are the perfect complement for each other. fries were perfectly seasoned and cooked exactly as I asked, extra crispy. Even the beans were good.

One thing that California is missing in general is good BBQ places. This place does it right. The founders went all over the US and sampled regional BBQ, learning the tricks of the trade before establishing the franchise. Smokin' Mo's serves everything from Tri tip to pulled pork to brisket. Sides include baked beans, potato salad, and homemade potato chips. The corn muffins with the cinnamon sugar butter are to die for. There is a good selection of different style sauces representing select BBQ regions. The Sweet Carolina is delicious, and my go-to is pulled pork smothered with it. Ribs are also excellent. The place itself is decorated to look like a vintage BBQ house in the south. Seating is ample and there is a sweet patio in the back. Prices are reasonable. This is probably my favorite place to eat Chico and a true gem.

One of the best places to eat in Shelton. Owners are very involved in the community, which is so needed in this little town. Tator Tots always perfectly crisp. Smoked Prime Rib is pretty dang good and I love how strong their Au Jus is (pretty sure it’s from scratch...hate the watered down stuff you get at most places). Bacon Bleu Salad is excellent, and it’s not easy to impress me with salad! Even the side salads (with bleu) are delish. Ping makes a wonderful Grapefruitini. I’ll be back!

Smokin Mo's is a delicious BBQ spot for a surprisingly cheap price. Good prices on the kids' menu and a great selection of BBQ sauce. Overall though the atmosphere is lacking and is uncomfortably warm in the summer. Some of the sandwiches are lacking but some delicious choices still
