American cuisine was good. Service always on the slow (understaffed) side. We noticed some Supervisory people standing around laughing while servers are looking busy and stressed. All the while trying there best to get the job done. Drinks are always the last to arrive. Dessert was the best. Better quality control would be a plus.

The lobster buffet on Wed and Thursday is the crowd puller at this place. The line can be impossibly long, so get there early like 330pm to get in 4pm for their all you can eat lobsters and other delicious variety of dishes. The fried chicken was surprisingly good too. About $39.95 but you get discount or even free buffet if you sign up for their players club membership. When I was there 2 weeks ago, it took me 3 hours to get in but it's all worth it for me. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was due to the extremely long wait.

Great buffet especially on Wednesday and Friday. Seafood feast! Come early! The line is very long. People were waiting in line at least 2 hours before dinner time. Deposit your plenty of your money on slot machines and you may receive a free buffet on your next visit!

Only four star not because the food was poor it was because we went and found that our timing was off we had half hour before they close down to refresh all tables clean food areas for the soon to come dinner foods could be placed, so our choices were not what we had experienced before. This is a lovely place to experience over all and there buffet food has been of great quality the times we have previously gone. They are building a 500 room hotel and an addition to the casino also more layered parking. The new additions will be available shortly after the first of the new year we were told.

It’s a buzzy, all-you-can-eat buffet with plentiful seating providing a wide range of international eats. We came here twice to eat lunch buffet. The variety of food to choose from was delicious. Italian, American, Mexican, and Asian food tasted great. The desert items could have been better. The ice cream was good. The buffet was priced fairly (with Player's Card discount) considering the quality of the food and total experience and the overall customer service was okay. Since this place is located in San Manual Casino, therefore kids are not allowed here.

The food was horrible, there's nothing to eat. The taste is so dry, the flavor isn't there. For $37.00 per person, I expected more than that. There are tiny shrimps for cocktails along with pastas. The services by 2 ladies was excellent, that's why I didn't give them 1 STAR.

BUT WHAT I HAVE NOTICED... is the STAFF from checking you in at the Register-the nice older lady checking your ticket-the servers coming up to see who's in line and communicate with the HEAD server floor Manager on getting tables cleaned & cleared quickly... and multiple servers seating customers. I've had EXTREMELY AMAZING SERVICE EVERY TIME I GO. THE STAFF ...ALL OF THEM EVEN IF NOT ASSIGNED TO YOUR TABLE ARE SMILING AND WILLING TO HELP OR ATLEAST LET YOUR SERVER KNOW. When they are low or out of an item...it gets replenished right away!!! HOT FRESH AND TASTY... THE FEATURED MENU ITEM HAS A LIMIT BUT WITH 2 SIDES THE LINE GOES QUICKLY... I didnt notice anyone complaining... on my last visit was by far the best overall 100%. We knew coming around 3pm the line would be long... so we did wait for a few hours... BUT had some great conversation in line meeting other quest and just passing time. The place was ORGANIZED...TABLES CLEAN... STAFF POLITE & FRIENDLY 100%+... FOOD AMAZING...OUTSTANDING...FRESH & HOT... I took my time and FULLY ENJOYED MY MEAL and not one PERSON OR STAFF RUSHED ME OUT OF THERE. THATS A PLACE I WOULD FORSURE RETURN TO WHEN YOU PAY $40 FOR A MEAL AND THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE IS WONDERFUL. MOST PLACES/RESTAURANTS RUSH YOU SO THEY CAN PUT MORE BODIES IN...MORE MONEY. This is probably the worst buffet I've been to in a long time. Everything I ate was cold, bland and undercooked. Absolutely nothing tasted good except my pink lemonade. Extremely overpriced. Definitely regret spending the money to eat here. After reading several of the reviews and seeing management's response of "how they will pass it on to the team".. please don't bother telling me that same nonsense. The "team" can't cook properly regardless of what their told. This place just needs to be shut down.

First time eating at the buffet and it was extremely satisfying!! I'm used to spending over $200 eating seafood with my sister. This was only fraction of the price. We had a bad experience. Got seated in the small single table next to the cabinet. The employee came to work with her knives and folks and she just put her cart 1 inch away to our table, my wife was suffering and her ears were painful and she had to stop eating because of the noise from the metal tools. The girl was throwing the metal tools into plastic boxs next to my wife chair. My wife asked the girl if she could move us to another table because we couldn't handle the noise, the girl did not say anything and ignore us, kept throwing the tools into the boxs . My wife finally had to waive at the group of staffs standing together and one of the guy came up, we told him what happened, if they can move us , he just moved the cart to the other side of the cabinet and it was better.. our table was a single table and was blocked totally no way to get out. Some one needs to be retrained. Bad experience , food was just ok, but my wife was so upset and refused to take anything else.

I went there Wednesday, as a birthday indulgence. Most of the Indian casinos that have a lobster buffet, do it only on Thursday. San Manuel does it on both days. The food was great, plentiful and only $45! When you get served, you can get two tails and one whole lobster at a time. Don't bother with the whole; it's too much work to get to the meat. If you really want to get down to scarfing up as much as you can, keep getting the two tails dipped in the butter sauce every time you go back to the chow line. There's also roast beef, crab legs, shrimp, Korean BBQ, mussels, etc. Don't bother with pizza and the like, they're just fillers. The worst part of the experience was the wait. It was a HUGE, slow moving line!!! I got there at 4:00 PM, but did not get seated until 7:30 PM. 3.5 hours of just standing in line! Also, the line was in the smoking portion of the casino. Since I'm allergic to smoke, perfume, etc., it added greatly to my discomfort. So I tried to mitigate the wait with alcohol. However, though I was drunk at the back of the line, I was sober as a judge by the time I got to the buffet. Get there early unless you have one of the privilege cards that allows you to go to the front of the line.

It was my 1st visit there. The food selections was HUGE! The dining area was large. The staff were very polite and attentive. Although our waitress seemed a little overwhelmed. But the overall experience was great.

But I feel that why don't they have salad in the morning time? because some people don't want to eat heavy food in the morning but I've been telling them this for years the answer I got from them is, "it's not the fact that we can't serve salad in the morning it's the fact that we have nobody to watch that area that's not true because I see people preparing for the lunch over there so it is someone over there but if you don't want to help your patrons by putting salad out there that's on them because it's people that I know want salad in the morning some people are on a diet some, people want to eat lite, some people want to eat it with their meal I don't understand but you know San Manuel they don't do anything until another casino does it!!!

Lobster! Lobster! Lobster! and crab legs all you can eat! Went on Friday around 7:00 and there was no line to get in. When we left around 9:00 there was a good sized line. The rest of the buffet good was average. I went in my birthday and used the $10 food voucher. The only NEGATIVE note was that my friend doesn't care for lobster or crab legs but he still took me for my birthday because it was seafood Friday. He loves salmon and the buffet always has salmon on seafood night, right? Wrong! They even have salmon in non-seafood nights, so why wouldn't they have it on a SEAFOOD NIGHT? He was very upset and disappointed. Especially for the price that we paid for the both of us to eat at the buffet.

Only been there once and never again! Parking was atrocious. Casino smelled like stale cigarettes and 2nd hand smoke seared the eyes. Ridiculous “system” of getting into the buffet with long line of people who have allegedly “pre-paid” the buffet fee and then joined a line 2 hours prior to the buffet opening. A second line is created to follow the pre-paid line after the 500 or so people get into the buffet restaurant and fill all the tables. While standing in line we observed at least 40-50 people cutting into the line way up ahead of us during our 2-3 hour wait and there were no casino/buffet staff on duty at the line that seemed to care. When the folks from the prepaid line finish eating and vacate a table for 2 or 4, then 2 or 4 people are allowed to pay the cashier after standing in line waiting for 2-3 hours! Ridiculous! The food was mediocre at best. Whole VERY small lobster was VERY over cooked and dried out and tasteless and almost able to be chewed... tiny slipper lobster tails were almost inedible due to dried out and over cooked. Tasteless lobster meat! Crab was equally over cooked and poor quality. Clams were in a tasty sauce but a scoop of clams yielded half the shells either empty or unopened (dead clam so that is why it doesn’t open). Shrimp was either breaded and fried - I believe they were pre- frozen like fish sticks. Other shrimp were whole with heads on and so over cooked and slathered in cheap sauce that the shell stuck to the tail meat and broke apart due to the over cooking. Vegetables were all over cooked and mushy. Rice was dry. Roast meats at carving station was not bad... pork, tritip and roast beef. Mashed potato and gravy was good. Desserts were good but I believe they were prepared elsewhere at a bakery. Only reason my wife and I, unfortunately, decided to try Serrano Buffet was 2 for 1 coupon in the LA Times newspaper... normal exorbitant charge is $41 per person, so we paid for one and got one free. Believe me and agreed by wife... what we finally got to eat was NOT worth $41 and that isn’t factoring in the 2-3 HOUR wait to get in! San Manuel Serrano Buffet IS NOT WORTH THE EFFORT AND THE COST!

I have been to lobster Wednesday and Thursday, and it is incredible. It is a must for people who love lobster. The service is always good. The ice cream and desserts are fine. Sadly, everything else is nothing special. Some of the food is just lacking. I don't think its the size of the buffet but maybe the menu/layout just needs some revamping.

My wife and I have eaten lunch here twice including today 02/14/2019. The food and customer service was horrible both times. Made my wife and I both sick. We tried everything on the menu. The food has no seasoning and the waitress returned to our table and said, "Here" when handing us utensils. Seemed like she didn't want to be there. They also do not serve alcohol in the restaurant OR on the gaming floor before 5pm. So we could not have a fitting Valentines lunch. We will not be going back.

All you can eat Lobster was delicious. Prime rib was perfectly cooked. So much to decide, I'm dizzy. Salmon was delicate. Clams were so good. Battered shrimp was tender and crispy. And the homemade ice cream was so creamy, and the perfect end to our night. Butter pecan was rich, and buttery. The vanilla was a creamy dream, and the chocolate was dark and rich. Our server May was terrific. She was so friendly, always checked on us when she passed by. She was on top of the empty plates, and made sure our drinks were replenished. And she did it with a lovely smile, even after 3 years of working food service.

Given the large size of the casino, it's one of the saddest casino buffets in Southern California... Definitely not worth the regular entry price if you're not getting comped. If you're looking for a great buffet experience try Morongo instead, much better quality and selection there.

its decent considering the amount of buffalo's they serve (me included). They work hard to keep the tables clear & clean. The wait staff r friendly and while don't speak to servers behind the counter that much, they r accommodating. Excuse me, except the desert counter. They look & act if they don't want to be there. Although today I heard a guest speaking with 1 of the chefs on how an item was prepared. Unexpected since it wasn't the pines. Lol.! However, it's the seafood that bring guests in. Can't comment I'm not a seafood person but can say this its f n busy on them days! For me it's about variety not how much I can stuff down my throat! If I had a recommendation to give is wipe down the condiments bottles. For guest take all u want but eat all u take!
