REVIEWS OF Sequoia Cider Mill Restaurant IN California

Gabriel Fish

The steaks here are wonderfully smokey, seasoned with just salt and pepper. The namesake cider is a good accompaniment, bringing balance and freshness my meal.

Trysha McMahan

I've never had to give a bad review before and we are not picky eaters so here it goes... My husband and I along with our two kids went to eat here and first of all It took along time to get our order when the place was empty. The food was overpriced and not good at all. We ordered enchiladas, and burgers and fries. None of the food tasted good at all. Towards the end of our meals we noticed that our daughters fries had a long hair you could tell was cooked with them. We will never go back to this place again!

Pambo Pascale

Practical place to eat on the way to see the giant sequoias !

Jodee Rich

Great breakfast, killer mimosa and fast, friendly service!! Loved it!!

David Parada

Excellent service. The food is really good

12/18/17 - LISTEN WHEN PEOPLE SAY DONT GO! The night started out fine, the waitress was very sweet. I got my enchiladas and the sauce tasted gross and had a horrible after taste. Like I think it was bad! I asked if I could switch it out for something else and the “boss lady” said no that I had to pay for it. She was not even women enough to come speak to me and kept sending the waitress out. I finally got up and said I’ll pay for my husbands burger (that wasn’t that great) and she told my waitress I had to pay for my beans and rice that I didn’t even eat!!! I have NEVER been so mistreated at a restaurant.

Brian Anderson

Great food as always. Great place to take a family, food prices and friendly staff.

Daniel Pierce

The food was overpriced for the quality. The wait time was longer than I would expect for a busy restaurant, but it was not busy. There were about 10 people. The food was bland. The staff were nice. Probably not worth your time or money.

Craig Jackson

Food was good. But prices were a bit high. Service was quite slow. Not many places in town to choose from.

Anna Leonenko

We stopped at this place a year ago, on the way to Sequoias. A year later we went camping again and decided to stop by this place. We clearly don't learn from our mistakes. Nah, the actual reason - no other restaurant/Cafe for miles. And you absolutely do get hungry and start looking for a restroom after driving for hours. I honestly don't know how to even rate this place. The place is clean and looks good. The staff was lovely, but kept mixing everyone's orders. Waiting time was also too long. Especially considering the place was pretty much empty. Now the food. We both ordered different dishes both times we were there. Hoping other dishes would taste better than the ones we tried a year ago. The quality of food is, well, it's really, really not great. The only way I can make describe it, is imagine a sort very basic frozen meal that tastes mediocre at best. We, and the majority of other customers at this place, never finished our meals. It was just not enjoyable at all. And that's coming from someone who is not a picky eater, who was driving for hours, and now so hungry, thinks would probably eat anything. The coffee was umm, well, the taste reminded me of the instant coffee Nescafe from years ago. Remember? Yeah, the one in black/red jar or a can. Not a great flashback. One other thing that really bothers me. Even though the food and coffee are far from great, the prices there are unreasonably high! I would've probably not even bothered to write this review if, you know, the food is bad but affordable. But no, it's completely overpriced for what it is. Anyway, if/when we ever going back down that road to Sequoias, we would not be stopping at this place again. It's always nice to have an option of a hot meal after driving for so long, but this is just not worth it.

One of the few dinner options in Three Rivers near the Sequoia NP entrance. Food was sub par, staff was friendly; wouldn't suggest eating here...unless you don't want Subway, pizza, or to drive too far.

Dr. Jill Jenkins

Really overpriced mediocre at best food :(

Adi Hazan

We had the burgers with fries and baked potato. The food was ok but our table was sticky and dirty. Makes you wonder what's going on in the kitchen... Not cheap also, but there aren't many options in Three Rivers, especially after 9pm.

Doc Martin

Very overrated. Very overpriced, and the food isn't worth it.

The Diesel Life

So many things to complain about. I will do my best to stay on target. We went here because comfort inn recommended it. We entered and were greeted with friendly smile and were seated quickly the restaurant needs a face lift and a good cleaning but my family and I have been to places like this before and have had great food. So as to the food it came out randomly not at the same time. My son order kids nugget plate with frys, what can you say hard to mess it up, my youngest daughter had kids taco meal it was horrible the taco was inedible just plain bad. My wife had the good ol burger with onion rings wife said it was bland and she left half on the plate. Now for the worst my oldest daughter and I both ordered ribeye steak entrees my with frys hers with baked potato medium rare. Both steaks came out still mooing and the nice waitress took them back when they came back they were medium well. But bad part is when I we both tried to eat the steak and they were awful the meat was ruined tasted of nothing but burnt charcoal my daughter and I could not eat those steaks. Back to the baked potato my daughter ordered it was green not a little bit completely green.over all worst meal ever. Ask for manager and he blamed the cook for food and asked what he could do I say take 50% off meal. He agreed when bill came he only took 50 off steaks and burger but not whole meal. And the bill still came to $70. I would have rather purchase $70 of McDonald’s then that crud even now almost two hours after the meal I can’t get burnt charcoal taste out of my mouth. Stay away from this place even if you have to go to local market and cook food on engine of your car. So once again STAY AWAY.

Minay Baltazar

The food was a bit overpriced and the quality was quite low.

joan fabrega

Food is really overpriced for what you get, good service but the quality of the food is a shame.

Wayne L.

The food was awesome and so was the service. We had a wonderful dinner.

Carlos R

Easy to get to if you're staying at Three Rivers or passing by. Burgers were OK, sitting outside was pleasant though near the road, service friendly but could be a few improvements. Altogether, fine but not remarkable.

CAROLINA PRIETO

Great place to recharge energy after a loooong journey. Nice service

Max Volkov

BBQ ribs are superb, NY steak so-so. Very fast, friendly service.

Mirna R

Nachos were delicious! Clam chowder soup was better than Sizzlers popular clam chowder. Service was great. Rib eye steak yummy too. Would definitely visit again. This time I'd order ribs and fries!

lynn phares

Good place, for evening meal sit outside in open air patio you will enjoy it, and the food and service are good too.

Patrick Stone

Food is good, but keep reading for a simple warning. First, the good. They cook the meats on a wood fired grill right out front. The guy cooking is friendly, and the smells are wonderful! Steaks are recommended. Expect higher prices because you're near a national park. Also, expect a wait in the off season. They don't have a large staff because they probably don't get enough consistent business in the off season to warrant the expense. Overall, I would definitely recommend the place if you're okay with the wait.

Cheryl Pfister

Good service. Good food.

vanessa allen

Great breakfast! Veggie omelette was delicious!

Ramon Schepers

Those burgers are dayum, but pricey. My bison burger was delicioudly meaty and had a nice texture. Would recommend if youre here.

David Fenner

Ample portions. Quality pancakes , good bacon, eggs cooked just right.

Wolfy !

The food was wonderful. I ate it before i got a picture. :)

Teresa Mallory

Wonderful

Killer Queen

Everything is cooked in a wooden stove, which really brings out the flavor. Everything from the chips, the fries, and the California burger was great. The ribs were tender, and the fried icecream was sweet and crunchy. Everything was amazing, though be warned, you are probably gonna need a few boxes cause they give ya a lot of food! The more the merrier I always say.

Sierra Roscom

Amazing food! Great customer service! Positive atmosphere but food is kinda pricey compared to other places.

Jessica Xu

Possibly the worst meal I've ever had. My family and I went here because it was near the hotel that we were staying in at Three Rivers, and the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed. I ordered a burger with mashed potatoes and my parents ordered steaks. The mashed potatoes came glued to the plate, and were a faint shade of gray. They looked like they came straight out of the box...a couple hours ago. My parents had asked for medium rare steaks, but 80% of the steaks was rare and bleeding. We finished the food (except for the mashed potatoes, which I didn't dare touch, and some pieces of blood red steak that my parents got tired of chewing), and what hurt the most was that the bill came out to be about $80 for an abysmal meal. Meanwhile, we had a fantastic meal the night before at the River View restaurant down the street for 2/3 the price. Go there instead.

Nelson D

Wasn't really WOWED by the place. Burgers were good and my wife had the chicken breast plate-unfortunate that it looked as if they grabbed a chicken breast and sliced it into 4mm slices before cooking, very thin pieces. $21 for the plate, would've wanted something a little more substantial and that actually matched the picture. Water's fine. Don't know where the person below me is complaining about it tasting like toilet water. I mean, how would you know what toilet water tastes like unless you-ohhhhhhh... .. .

Jordan Jackson

Don't waste your time or money. I ordered the enchilada platter with 3 enchiladas rice and beans.... what I got was 3 taquitos with very little sauce and a small amount of cheese... oh yeah and 1 scoop of rice and 1 scoop of beans. Not acceptable for $22..... one meal.... weighing in at less that a pound... they did give me my money back... so 2 stars for you.

Aliaksei Adamik

Food is great! I come from the east coast to visit the sequoia park and we decided to drop by this place. The building wasn't anything crazy but the inside feels nice and cozy. The server/hostess greeted us before the door finished closing and had us all set up super quickly. The menu is a good size, not too many items but also not too few. Prices seem a bit higher up than what you'd expect, but the quality of the food is well worth it! We had the nachos, and the California burger. The nachos were nice and fresh and the server herself said the chips were just freshly made. The burger was a nice 1/2 pound patty with some fresh toppings to go along with it. Definitely the place to go if you're feeling hungry out in the forest!

beth flowers

Delicious food, close to national park. Parking, clean restrooms, good service.

Pauline Foss

Enchilada tasted like chicken wild rice soup in a tortilla shell. Curly fries were cold. My boyfriend had a burger and said it tasted like frozen patties thrown on a grill. Was not worth it. Service was ok and staff friendly. Server took my food off the bill. Go to the pizza factory. Great pizza!

Amanda Wilson

Good food and mimosas!!

Sheri Perrins

Prompt, friendly service. We were offered drinks, and chips and salsa right away. The food, which for us was a steak, a burger, and chicken nuggets and fries for our seven year old daughter, was good and the portions were generous. I loved the onion rings, they were light, crispy, and delicious! The price was reasonable, the place was clean and nice, and the food hot and good.

Nico Schulze

Really great ribs and rib eye steaks. Sides could be improved.

Rick Avery

I ordered the Citrus Chicken and it was gross. Sorry, but it was bad. Go to Rivers View

Riche' Navarette

The service was much slower than usual but I appreciate the effort. One dish wasn't great but at least the kitchen/ cook made a new one to accommodate the other. That was nice. The BBQ ribs was GREAT but they didn't have enough for the full rack that we wanted. :/

David Jimenez

excelent ..top 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ i had and amazing experience with my family the best .....Food and drinks Nd desserts

Erika Gleason

Meh. The biscuits and gravy was not good. Canned biscuits and watery, no flavor gravy, could see the specks of flour. Asked for butter for my English muffin and was given margarine. Coffee was weak and one of my eggs was broken. Not the worst, but not impressed.

Cheryl Jahr

We stopped at this restaurant after visiting Sequoia National Park. It was a bit pricey but the food was good. I don't mind paying a little more for good food. However I expect that food to come with good service. The service was horrible. There were only three tables being served so "busy" was not the excuse. We ordered 3 soft drinks and a water. It took 15-20 minutes to get them. And the three drinks that were for the adults at our table were in plastic cups. The lemonade for a toddler was in a heavy glass tumbler. The food took a while to come out and as I said before they were not busy. When we got the food we had to make requests for the items that were forgotten.

HENRY MARROQUIN

Open early, friendly service, wide variety food in their menu. Family oriented. Great place to go before visiting Sequoia National Park.

Zaron Welch

They have a grill outside, and I've heard good things about the ribs, but i got the ribeye with baked potato and veggies. The steak was very salty. 1-10, 10 being caked in rock salt, I'd say it was an 8. It was also a very poor grade. Limp and thin. The baked potato was obviously microwaved, and had margarine instead of butter. The green beans seemed canned, as did the carrots. The ice tea was cloudy, and sightly stale. Service was slow, without many people in the building. Meal came to 23 bucks. The building was comfortable, but bland. I might try the ribs another time, but only if there are no other interesting options in town.

Marlen Chavez

The sign said voted best bbq in town. They must have voted it themselves because I don't know who would vote this. Food was way overpriced and not worth the hype. The water tastes nasty, and the service was average.

Alberto Lanzini

Starting off we saw the griller guy outside crunching some ribs and then leaving the bones on the grill melting with the other food. Once we set down we were circled by ants that were eating a piece of food left under under our table. We asked to be seated inside and then got our food. Nothing special. The burger we ordered did not come as expected but the chef decided to add his signature with some onion and cheese when we explicitly told the waiter to take the onion off. We asked for expresso and what came was an American coffee in a smaller cup. The only positive thing was the staff. Kind and polite.

Tim Borack

The Spare Ribs were just perfekt

Tamara Williams

We were seated quickly but had to wait and wait to have our order taken, wait some to get drinks, the waitress rolled her eyes anytime we asked for something and we had to wait a very long time for food. It took an hour and a half for breakfast and it wasn't busy. Don't come here if you are in a hurry. Food wasn't that hot or good.

Buddy Anderson

It's mostly not that good, some of the food is grows.

José A Castro

After a full weekend of activities at Sequoia national Park, my friend John and I were pretty anxious to try some local products. We came across a local brewery and at this place they suggested Sequoia Cider Mill Restaurant. We took the tip and got here and boy, were we happy. We both ordered BBQ spare ribs, one and a half racks. The bones came clear off the meat, sooo tender and flavorful. The sauce was delicious. We met Efrain, the chef and owner and had to let him know how great his food was. He was very appreciative and was happy to know some of his customers enjoyed his food. There were also a family of four from the Czech Republic and also enjoying some ribs and steaks. Also agree about the food quality. We had a great experience eating here and are sure you will too. The prices are moderate and the portions are more than enough. You won't regret stopping here.

Omar Peraza

Foods decent, seems to be not too busy so service is very prompt. Portions are well sized, decent prices

David Scheuman

Expensive, but the food was amazing.

Joseph Ohol

Food was excellent. Everything we had was delicious. Service was good up to when we got our food and then the place got busy. Waiters did not have sections, but received new customers through rotation. This method made it hard to flag down the server. The servers themselves were not bad, and they also had to bus tables. It would have been better to have assigned tables to keep them around their customers. Again, the food was some of the best we had on our trip. We will definitely go back if we're at the park.

Josie Nava

Ribs and sauce delicious. Very prompt service.

DJ GRAVITY SC

I visited this place while we were in Three Rivers, CA for a wedding. The restaurant sits right in the middle of a valley in the Sierra Nevadas. Just down right beautiful. The food was really good and the veiw is something i will always remember. The pictures are from the back deck of the resturant. While my wife and i were eating our breakfast this is the veiw we were able to delight in. Any going into Three Rivers, CA definitely stop by Cider Mill..

Kim Spalding

Good service, food was mixed. Steaks and burgers are a better choice than other menu items.

Aline Dalichampt

Average restaurant. Frozen food at a high price. Some food is good others not really. Drinks are not bad. Service average, waitress not particularly sympathetic. Go if it's your only option

kang zhang

I liked it. Nice service good price, my order tasted good as well. The tables and building show their age / are used though

Luka Hrstich

Nice place, but very untrained waiter. 5 people ordered in our party, 3 burgers came out with mixed ingredients. Not great.

francisco lopez

The food was horrible so I’ll never caming back to the place I wouldn’t recommended to this restaurant

Uri Sabag

Steaks came cold! Wrong grilade degree` Chef was argue with us and refuse to cancelled a dish we returned. Table was sticky and dirty, Waitress were kind and smiley, Surly will not come back

cody henry

Filet mignon was overcooked and not to my expectation for the price of over $25. Im a little upset. 4 people was over $110. Happy with the baked potato though, for only having 4 tables of people, service was slow and got our drinks wrong. Maybe an off day?

Lori Baker

Food servers need work

Mike East

I just love the veggie burger unfortunately our waitress is it was in a hurry to leave

S. Mac

Loved It!!!! Liz provided great service with wonderful recommendations and knowledge of the menu, food was fantastic and the chocolate cake dessert was juat scrumptious!!!!

Mel Mell

2 burgers & rings, water and a pop, $49! Way too much BBQ sauce that later made me feel queezy. Just not feelin it here. Wait staff was very friendly.

Kimberly Alexandra

Great service! Good food.

Therese Berrington

We just had a great breakfast and great service!! The cider is phenomenal!

Tres Rios Ranch Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats

Breakfast was delicious. Service was great. Thank you Ulysses for a great meal.

Yuri Gaidoukevich

Good food, fast service. We liked it!

Susana Tamayo

Good breakfast, and dinner. It's the best place for barbeque!!

Lorena Miranda

Being from Vegas we have a lot of the best foods in the US but as for best BBQ Burger I've ever had this is the place. Want a great burger get the Sequoia Burger

Ignacio Lopez

Salmo was really bad, even the the grilled chicked was bad and flies inside the restaurant, it was expensive

Ceci Hanono

The service was nice and friendly. The add said that it closes at 8pm but it depends on their customers. So we went there at 9pm for dinner. Their ribs were delicious! Large and fresh plates. No flairs.

Paul Anderson

Great selection of foods and beverages especially after a long hot day seeing big trees.

Christian Melzer

Good food, a bit old, but very friendly people!

Michelle Miller

Food was very good. The spicy hot sauce was outstanding! Stuff was a little slow on the follow-up.

Sue Carol

People are very kind and food is very good

Barrie Gibson

Would not recommend. First waitress seated us and then totally forgot we were there. Eventually another waitress was despatched to take our order, her iPad was not working. We at long last got our food and my fajitas were not very warm or spicy (also only 2 tortillas). I also requested a chipotle or similar spicy sauce but I suspect the waitress didn't understand as she never returned. Probably the worst dining experience I've ever had in the U.S.A.

Bryan Lothrop

Good food and ok service.

Jose Troncoso

The place is great. Great people. I love to visit different places that have different things. You know do something new in life explore don't stay home .

Sara K

Our hotel highly suggested the Cider Mill for their bbq, but the food was gross. Mashed potatoes were flavorless and an odd texture, and while the ribs did "fall off the bone", they were flavorless as well. Ordered a rack to share and barely got through half. Gave two stars for good service.

Dan Walling

Great place good food!

Mike Spekreijse

Low cost, simple tasty food. Great alternative from burger and fries though you can get them here as well if you want.

Malcolm Jones

Lovely food. Great Steak and Ribs

Lionel Doe

Had a ribeye which was black from the pepper they put on. A friend of mine ordered a medium steak which came in medium-rare. When he recieved another one it was well-done. The waitress (who was lovely) asked the "main-griller" for a discount which he declined. Long story short: don't go there. Even when you are starving.

Ryan Herrmann

Really good food! Had the fajitas. Quick and friendly service. Drinks were cold. Not sure what these complaints are all about...If you want a 5-star fancy restaurant then go to LA...Not in the middle of the Sequoia forest. Whiners.

Timothy Mullins

The food was good and the service good, however, the room we ate at was hot and musty.the table was sticky and I feel like the food was way below the price.

Diana Crisanto

Always so nice, great food.

Carlos Avalos

Went for breakfast and have no comlaints.

Ana Alonso

Tasty

Corina Rolan

Very disappointed with the food. I asked for the steak salad with dressing on the side and it came drenched in dressing and the steak was tiny pieces of cold meat with no flavor. My husband asked for medium rare steak and the steak came very well done. Do not plan to return.

Bill I

My wife and I had really good breakfasts. The menu has many kinds of omelettes. My wife had scrambled eggs and bacon; I had chorizo and eggs, which were delicious. The service was excellent. Seems like the best option in Three Rivers for a full breakfast.

Jesus Ramos

Excellent food and service. Strongly recommended.

mp dev marcoparco

nice patio... very kindly.. average food

ester ordonez

Restaurant overpriced, waitress handed us stack of menus and silverware and we head to sit ourselves. Stakes are good but carne asada was simple and did not come with the onions or jalapeño like the picture, when we asked waitress she put order in for onions and jalapeño and they brought it half hour later when we had finished eating also did not come with tortillas and they charged extra for 3 tortillas. Not good food. Service really bad.

Robert Brodt

Meh. Flavorless mexican and burgers. Good service, nice views from patio, but otherwise mediocre food.

Shi Heng Lee

Large portions, delicious ribs. Ample parking, accepts credits. Decent American fare

S Schaefer

They say open until 10p but will only cook your food to order. You must eat outside with no table service. We got there around 9:15p. Meal was over $100 and we had to take to the hotel. No drinks included. I ordered the vegetables with my steak and got mostly boiled carrots with a little broccoli.

Destiny Stephens

A tad pricey. But you get what you pay for definitely. Staff was friendly and they gave you the choice to dine inside or outside and when my children started to get chilly they allowed us to move inside with no problem. Had to wait a little longer what we wanted for our food but I still give the place a 5 star overall due to location, atmosphere, staff friendliness and food quality. Everything was severed fresh and hot with bold flavors.

Amanda Stubbs

Horrible dining experience. It being a “cider mill” we expected hard cider to be available. The one selection there was was essentially chunky apple juice with spiced rum added. Additionally, we ordered a ribeye steak cooked medium to medium-rare. The first steak served was thin and completely well done, no pink at all. We sent it back, the second steak served was raw, purple inside. By the third try, we were served something edible. The other dish we ordered was BBQ chicken, it was absolutely smothered in BBQ sauce and not that great either, though more edible than the first two steaks served. Waiter didn’t seem to care that we were not satisfied with our meal, though the manager was concerned. Would not recommend, definitely take your business elsewhere.

Jason

We go to Sequoia annually and this has become one of the places that I hit up for breakfast and or lunch. We went there Friday night. The service was ok. we enjoyed being out in the night air. I usually LOVE the food but this time it was just ok. I look forward to the steak but mine was over cooked and not seasoned well. the potatoes have gotten smaller too. The biggest gripe I have is that we decided to go back the following evening and they were closed. There were no signs from the night before so we were kind of confused. We ended up finding another restaurant down the street.

Gabriella Fabbri

Good food, nice setting.

Francis Maung

Good place to stop by for food on the 198 coming/going to/from Sequoia.

Carlos Cetz

Little price but really good food, not for the cheap.

Casey Whittington

The view is gorgeous and the staff is so friendly. You won't regret stopping here.

Marina Fiorentino

The most nice ribs that i have ever found in the California! Very delicious!

Sonoflaw

Unfortunately it was the only place open after 10 and we were very disappointed. Food was not good and way over priced. Make sure if your in town grab a bite before 9.

Ignacio Ochoa

Great place

Charles Valentino

Coffee is pretty darn good but the waiter said that she couldn't give us mushrooms because they went bad. My eggs tasted kind of old and I'm not taking any chances so i didn't eat them. The rest of my food was pretty good and this place was really quiet and no one was here when we got here. This is an OK place to go to eat.

brandon leigh

Never in my life have i ever been so disgusted by a restaurant. The food was all gross and cold and the water is appearently from a well and taste like sewage. I would have gotten cleaner water going to the toilet with a cup and scooping some out. The waitress then offered to comp us on water bottles then failed to follow through and tried to charge us. 1 out of 10 i would never eat here again

David Morpurgo

The waiters are very nice but very easily overwhelmed (e.g. Credit card refused because they don't have a chip reader) which was very funny for us. The WiFi was broken, when asked they said it has been for a while, they could have put a sign up. The food we had was almost certainly frozen and/or not the best quality, but we didn't have a choice and we don't regret eating after all.

Donnie E.

Service was horrible. Had to ask for everything, menu, silverware, napkins, the lot. And the soup, NOT worth $8 bucks. 29 cents maybe.

Gregg Dietz

Nice place to sit and relax. Outdoor seating options as well. Wood fired grill for some menu offerings

Daniel Hill

Wonderful views, delicious diner fare (breakfast)

Caitlin Jakositz

Absolutely the most disgusting food I've ever been served, insanely overpriced, and terrible customer service. Literally the only thing this place was good for was using their wifi to post this review. Don't waste your money!!! Oh, and the employees stood around whispering and laughing at us after I told them my food was unacceptable.

Jonathan Peters

Great food with an amazing view

Kertu Park

Best barbeque ever!

derek sanchez

The Calabasitas was an awesome dish and the coffee is great. Nice outdoor eating area with good service.

AC Wagner

Went for breakfast, orders a steak omelet and it was delicious!

סטקים מעולים אוכל טעים וזול Great steaks, delicious food and excellent service

jeff knight

Setting is nice, relaxing atmosphere. Services were very good. Food was very good. I tried the ribs that were cooked over oak wood fire. Super tender, meaty and tender.I strongly recommend this establiment.

David Gonzalez

Overcooked salmon (very dry) undercooked vegetables. No salad or bread offered $20 a plate. Even the baked potato was dry even after the sour cream. Will not be a repeat. Recommend going anyplace else.

justin beale

Great food love the outside dining and"live BBQ"

Patty McCarthy

Best food in three rivers

Rachal Ryan

Wonderful atmosphere and the best cider I have had since I left the midwest.

William Laban

Good service but unfortunately the food was mediocre. And overpriced considering the quality. Overcooked soggy vegetables and the enchiladas tasted like plastic. Sorry

B Koons

The barbecue was excellent fast service and not too expensive Very friendly staff

Markey Toomes

10/15/17: PLEASE DON'T GO HERE. I am a local resident and I wanted a nice meal with my family before visiting Slick Rock. Ordered NY steak meal, Chicken meal, and Kids Taco meal. Steak came out medium rare instead of medium well, vegetables were awful, Chicken comes out FLAT, as in a millimeter thick (no bone)(mind you, $18 plate!) and the mystery meat taco got my daughter sick and messed up her afternoon. I tried a bite of the taco myself and am bent over a toilet with food poisoning right now. We paid $70.00 for severely overpriced and under par food and will be missing work/school tomorrow. PLEASE DON'T EAT HERE. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Huwenbo Shi

Went there on new year's eve. Ordered medium rare beef steak. It took 30 minutes for the steak to arrive -- there was no bread served while we were waiting. And the steak was chewy like rubber.

Renee Tolle

Staff was super nice our waitress was amazing but the food is terrible and overpriced will not be going back

Angelic Lambert

This place was very disappointing. Service was terrible food was just as bad. I don't think we will be going back. That's coming from someone who lives right up the street.

Sergey Kr.

Shrimps in the salad were not fresh, so avoid ordering seafood there

Steve Walker

Best ribeye on the planet.

Randall Biehl

Great food and service

Juraj Rakus

During our US trip we tried many restaurants and this one was by far the worst. The place was smelly, the food overpriced. The service tried to do their best but it didn't help the overall impression. We ordered two salads from the menu, the ingredients were not fresh ...

Prozac & Cookies

Overpriced. The staff was rude. The food was merg mediocre at best.

Angela ChangQuan

The only nice thing about this place is the staff. They are helpful and nice. However, the food was sub-par and I'm not sure how you have water that tastes like toilet water, but they somehow have just that. I would NOT recommend eating here or drinking anything here.

Dave Nyhof

I don't know what was with the other reviews but our fall off the bone ribs where perfect and the ribeye the couple that was with me and my wife had was perfect. Service was great as well. Thanks Dave N.

Dylan Clifford

Service was alright, food was barely passable. They claim to have mixed drinks, but don't have a liquor license. So I really wonder what was in their Long Island ice tea and piña colada. Was charged for an extra dos equis without receiving it. Do not recommend.

We arrived late in the day on August 8, 2017 after spending the day touring in Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. We were concerned about being able to find food, given the time of night, when we came across the Sequoia Cider Mill Restaurant, shining like a beacon in the dark. Thinking our need for sustenance was soon to be fulfilled we parked and quickly made our way inside. The restaurant was mostly empty but we were told it would take more than an hour to seat us! We didn't have that kind of time to waste so exited the premises post-haste. We did manage to find an Applebee's open in Visalia when we arrived, so my recommendation is that if you're pressed for time and come across the Sequoia Cider Mill Restaurant, don't slow down, don't hesitate, just keep going. You'll be doing yourself a service, saving time, and improving your chances of finding something open in Visalia when you get there.

Don't eat rare steaks here! I write this review instead of enjoying my holiday as I have spent the last 6 hours stuck at our airbnb with food poisoning. The only thing I am thankful for is that my wife didn't try any of my steak. Food was overpriced, quality was poor (had better at drive thrus) and the waitress looked like she hated being there and wouldn't even crack a smile. Avoid!
