This is a wonderful restaurant. I went with a group of 6 others and the service was excellent. We got 5 main dishes which was enough for the six of us. We also got appetizers and drinks. The beer bottles are pretty big so I would recommend getting one and sharing it with two people. The bipimbap was to die for and I would highly recommend it. The squid dish was also amazing and all the noodles are really good. T is a great place to bring friends and family. I would recommend a reservation because it is a smaller restaurant however other than that it was a great experience. I will definitely go back some time soon!

Our dinners were somewhat disappointing. Kinda mediocre, lacking in flavor. The side dishes were very good and varied from mild to hot. The restaurant had a strange smell (like sewer gas) when we entered but dissipated towards the other part of the restaurant. The building really needs to be refurbished. We'll probably not go back. We were there about 6 years ago and it was much better. Parking is on the street but spots seemed to open up frequently. Riverside Korean does take reservations.

Since our first date, 10 years ago, this has been our mainstay when visiting the Greater Cincinnati area. We took 14 family members tonight including our 3 children (all 6 years old or younger). We asked the waitress about a kids menu and she told us about their chicken dish. We ordered three and were VERY surprised when the bill came and we were charged $45 for 3 children. CHILDREN?! I asked to speak to a manager and was told that "she just left for the night". We were incredibly disappointed and are pretty certain after this kind of service that it will be our last visit. With meal, drink and a tip it averaged more than $20 PER child. Ridiculous.

Awesome Korean restaurant with some of the best Korean food I've ever had. I like their slight twists on traditional dishes that include more ingredients. Honest to God, the food I had there was better than my mom's and that's saying a LOT. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I didn't know they took reservations and showed up with a party of 10. They didn't bat an eye and made room for us. Highly recommended.

In my opinion this is a Cincinnati Staple . The food is always on another level ...that incredible level you want to be on. If you haven’t had Korean food then you are missing out because it is the best . If you don’t know what to get , then order the dol sot bi bim bap ( the steaming hot bowl ) . Trust me the other dishes are great but this is the go to for your first time . Also the staff are super helpful and awesome . Any questions just ask . I have been going here for years and hope to go in the future .

I can't express how good this restaurant is in writing. Staff are great, foods great, have tried different things on the menu every time I've went and have yet to try something I didn't find incredible. Parking is rough but definitely worth it. Highly recommend getting the parking app or bring change before making the trek.

Writing this review sucks. Riverside is a Covington classic and I’ve had great meals here time and time again. But I have no choice but to slam them because I’m literally sitting here waiting for, what can only be described as, a molten-hot bowl of boiling sea shells to cool the f down. Main take away: Be careful when ordering the seafood soup ($20!!). It may come out so boiling hot that no mortal man could bare its scolding temperature. And no I’m not talking about spicy. I had to dump half my ice water into this cauldron and the contents still pose a dangerous threat to the inside of my mouth. Lastly, none of the seafood has been shucked out of the shell, some shrimp with portions of poopsacks visible. For this price, I would expect a much for refined and at the very least a dish edible within 45 mins of cooling/waiting. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph this sucks. ⚠️⚠️⚠️

This is a truly wonderful place to enjoy some amazing Korean food. They have a few booths and then some floor dining as well. Make sure to wear clean socks and comfortable clothing for the floor seating - you have to take your shoes off! The Bi Bim Bap is amazing!!!

The food was really good, came here with Asian people and they enjoyed it a lot. The place is big, but its hidden, so dont be afraid to ask for more seating if you see the entrance tables full. You can have standard tables or floor tables, which I believe is great. Finally I would give it 5 stars but had terrible service.

I've always had leftovers to take home so it's basically two meals. Can't recommend enough. And now I'm craving a bowl of spicy noodles. Guess I'll have to drop in soon.

My husband and I had the seafood hot pot for two, and it was incredible. Though, I will say that the amount of food they give you could feed more like 4 people! My husband and I barely ate half, and we were stuffing ourselves. I also want to mention that the service was INCREDIBLE. This is one of those restaurants that leaves a carafe of water at your table, which I like. They also had our food out in 10 minutes. Very great waitstaff, very friendly and personable. The food here is reasonably priced for the amount that you get and the quality. I see some people complaining about the prices, but this is a nicer sit down restaurant. You can eat for about 15 dollars a person. If you go for the more expensive options, maybe closer to 20. The side dishes that come. With the meal were also great. One of them was Kimchi, and it was my first time eating it. The first bite was a bit unpleasant, but then after my second bite it was addicting. The crab salad was also interesting. It had very thin slices of apple in it to add just a bit of sweetness, which was delicious. Overall, this is one of my favorite restaurants I've visited. Unfortunately, I live in Dayton so I can come often.

The restaurant is larger than it looks. It had two sides to it. One has tables and floor seating. The other just tables. Our food came out very quickly. It was all very good. The children's meal though was amazing. Our son was impressed! Place opens at 5 pm for dinner and it was not crowded at all. Great place to eat.

I ordered for take out but on the phone they were very helpful with recommending something to my tastes and concerns about sweet potato noodles. Traveled to Cincinnati. Selected this place to eat. Was surprised how they were rude to tourists. They just wanted me eat fast and leave. I had a feeling that they are focusing on the local community - many tables were reserved. Food not bad, though I had a feeling that it is too Americanized - mayonez and potato are present, kimchi didn’t test right for me. My verdict - if you are a tourist, better avoid this place, locals can use it I believe if you don’t have better choices.

Been going here for years & it is always delicious. Dak Bul Go Gi is a great started for any who hasnt had Korean and doesnt to dive in head first; it is chicken breast meat with a red paste for seasoning. Service is wonderful. I would 100% recommend.

I really liked this place. The staff was exceedingly friendly and the food was very good. The entrees we ordered (the Bi Bim Bap, and a shrimp stir fry) were in large portions, and the Bi Bim Bap was served in a hot stone bowl, so it keeps cooking as you eat it. Dinner was also served with six side dishes. The potatoes and beans were our favorite, but it was all good, if unfamiliar. I am excited to go back, so I can either try the karaoke party room, or eat at one of the small tables on the floor, Korean-style.

I am assured by friends who love traditional Korean food that Riverside is very authentic and has excellent food. If so, then I'm afraid that I am not a fan of traditional Korean cuisine. I did not enjoy their food, at all. I would not read a lot into that statement though. Since this is the only Korean restaurant I've ever eaten at, I really don't have anything to compare them to.

This passed the Korean mother test which is definitely near to impossible. Don't be weirded out by the layout of the place (they own two buildings next to each other but to get to the one without an entrance it requires a combination of back passageways and narrow hallways that make you worry you will be murdered) the place is legit and well staffed. Their side dishes are diverse and generous; we especially enjoyed the kimchee. Everything was delicious, from the bibimbop to the bulgogi.
