REVIEWS OF Prepkitchen Little Italy IN California

Kimberly Giardina

I always love this place. The atmosphere is great and food is excellent. We had the best waitress this time!

Alex N

Many yummy and healthy food options. Latte was great!

Suzy Garcia

I love the cocktails here. Prepkitchen has some creative and tasty cuisine in a chic setting. I love their flatbreads and soups. Service is always great. Be sure to make a reservation if you plan on going for dinner as it can get crowded. Lunch is usually a lighter crowd.

kevin brooks

Great food but get a reservation. Casually went in with a friend and we were lucky enough to be seated. However, really good brunch/lunch menu. Would go here again.

Elaine Ardizzone

Every dish we've ordered here - both past and new ownership - has always been delicious and balanced, from apps to entrees (apps are amazing)! Bolognese is one of the best in Little Italy, despite this not being an Italian restaurant. The fish crudo app options and tartare are excellent.

Susan Shepard

Had amazing chickpeas, lentil, and kale soup, perfect for a chilly evening. It was a little spicy, a little tangy, and so good that I drank all the broth in the end. I also had the burger without the bun or fries since I have to eat gluten free. The staff did a great job of accommodating my food restriction. I loved the food I ate and wasn't sick later.

Michael Sims

Awesome 1st drink...weaker 2nd :-/

David Meriwether

Flew in from San Antonio for a conference. Was really striking out on food choices. Needed a win. Finally got it with this little gem. Great atmosphere, great service, great food from starter all the way through dessert.

Igor Igor

Food and service were good. Menu selection is very limited and a bit overpriced.

Spyro Malaspinas

Food was solid. Service was abysmally slow. Wasn't even crowded. School night. Def worth another trip.

a bubert

This place is horribly overpriced and the service was horrible. I never ordered a drink and was brought one anyways. The waitress took liberties on my drink and the 15 dollar chilequiles we just a portion that even an anorexic woman would find meager. The place is so hipster that it's uncomfortable. I'll never come here again. I don't recommend this place to anyone. With noses raised high and the millennial entitlement syndrome I would give this place a big middle finger. I wish that I would have knew this before blowing 50 bucks on food that sucked. Just to go eat right after.

Davo Rea

Helpful friendly staff and the food was very tasty. Atmosphere is standard for that style of establishment. Prices could have been a little better though.

James Griffin

We thought we were still getting in on restaurant week but missed it. Our table of four was seated promptly and our waitress was extremely attentive despite how busy it was on a Saturday night. She recommended great wine and brought over a little extra when the second round of pours ended up uneven. Excellent service. We ate tapas style and everything was delicious and easy to split. This made the portions perfect as I usually end up leaving food on the table. We had bacon wrapped dates, the yellow tail, the duck and another dish that escapes me. All in all a great farm to table experience with friends.

Maria C

Terrible, portions are very small for the money they charge. Would not recommend. So many great restaurants in Little Italy.

Jason Edwards

Cool spot in Little Italy that is an alternative to the tons of Italian restaurants. Service was fantastic and the atmosphere is really nice. Great for happy hour drinks!

Johannes Setiabudi

It was OK - they just changed chef, which I did not know when I came, so I was expecting a different style of food. I ended up ordering diver scallop risotto - which was good, but the portion size is a bit small (especially compared to the price). My wife ordered clam & chorizo - and the chorizo is kind hard & chewy (they were cut in cubes), to the point some of ours actually were hard to put our fork into. Service was excellent - but our tables is not level, so it was shaky - which we ended up creating a shim to keep it level.

Christal D. Hill

Loved the food, drinks and atmosphere!

Terrance Winfield

Chris was awesome and his food recommendation was spot on. I enjoyed lunch so much I'm taking my wife this weekend for Happy hour. Great ambiance - a must if you're in Little Italy.

Annee Nguyen

I had my doubts about this place because I'm always a little iffy going into hipster-esque restaurants. Generally the decor is beautiful, the lights nonfunctional, and the Mason jars are plentiful, and you're mostly paying for the seating and the decor, rather than the food. This place is totally different. I ordered the smoked salmon and potato pancakes for brunch, and we got a beautiful view of little Italy from the second story. My entree had a nicely crisped layer of potato underneath a generous portion of smoked salmon, *incredibly* freshly poached eggs, mixed greens and drizzled hollandaise sauce. The fact that I could pretend it was a bit good for me made it feel even better eating it! Great food. Great atmosphere. Very pleasant for brunch and I hope to see if it's just as pleasant for dinner.

Jessica Granatowski

Everything was delicious, server was very attentive - excellent experience.

maureen lynn

making reservations via yelp!?!? whoever thought of this should have a holiday named after them! First time at prepkitchen and will definitely come back. staring off with the ambiance #issavibe, its upstairs so the views were beautiful lots of natural lighting. I came here for my anniversary dinner after searching several other places I decided on this one and was soooo not disappointed. Food was BOMB! service was great everyone was so attentive and very pleasant. Loved it!

Maria Caccamise

Terrible, portions were small and not worth what they charged. Would not recommend or return.

ALEKS Zlatic

Good food and atmosphere, great for lunch

Jon Powell

Great food & service...but a little pricey.

Tyler Hain

Great food and great service.

Dana Davidson

Their renowned bacon dates seem hit or miss with some people, but I liked their sweet and savory flavor. The corn soup is more accurately described as corn chowder, but the cherry tomato relish takes the soup from average to amazing. Decent sized portions, but a little pricey even for lunch. Good views from the second floor, and everything tasted really fresh, even the cucumber and lemon infused water was really refreshing.

Zach Nemeth

Awesome bar scene with some great and interesting cocktails. The lobster roll was also fantastic.

Sarah Keene

Very tasty, a twist on classic italian

Tony Basile

Food was bland, service slow.

john abbo

good food and drinks. friendly staff. awesome place

j9studt

Very fresh, tasty food. Always satisfying.

Marisela Moreno

Love the food and PERSONAL service. Must see! Must visit! Gave more than $20 tip.... Yeah... That great!

CW Begg

Fantastic Happy Hour!!!

MusicByARII

This place is STUN NING inside. So beautiful. Loved the happy hour and the food was so well priced for good servings. The staff were attentive and nice and I will definitely be coming back

Matthew Brown

Great atmosphere, service, and pricing. They have not only a happy hour, but also a late night happy hour after 10. Elegant windows overlooking India street and rustic decor. I've been here a dozen times with different friends and every one loves it.

Dylan Wilt

Didnt know what to expect my first time in Little italy. But wow i was surprised. The food was delicious. The Service was great. I would really recommend the sliders. They were the best burgers I had, and they have Happy Hour Definitely coming back!

trahsay apple

Just had brunch here for the first time, my third time eating here total. The prices are way more reasonable than you'd imagine and the service was great. We moved tables, made changes to our orders, and the server/busser never once seemed irritated in the least. My food was good but I think I enjoy the dinner menu options more than the brunch menu. I've had 3 wonderful experiences here and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice view while having good food in little italy.

Scott McCombie

Staff and food are incredible, unfortunately our food was lost in the mix and it took over an hour for us to get fed. We got an apology, but a discount would have been nice.

Hal Krebs

Limited bar selection, no Tito's which was odd.

Yotam Barak

Had the steak, it was ok but small dishes all around. service was really bad.

Fabsybunny

Delicious food, wonderful atmosphere,it was worth the wait.

Ryan Fay

Pretty good food. Pretty good service. A bit overpriced.

byronfernandez

By far one of my favorite spots in town.

Richard Moyer

First time we were there I'd have given it a 10… but this time a 5! Burger was undercooked and cold inside. Place was a mob scene on Mother's Day. Gotta try on a quiet evening sometime.

Alexa Barnes

Great location with lots of windows and a view of little italy. The grains salad was delicious and then were able to make the Brussel sprouts vegetarian for me. FYI had a kids menu.

Kaniela Pau

My family and I enjoyed our experience at Prepkitchen. Our waiter Angelo was friendly and a great help with our drink, appetizer, and entree selections. I ordered the filet mignon and it was prepared just as anticipated. I will recommend Prepkitchen to my friends and family.

Angie Weinberger

Very inviting place, clever decor and lots of windows. Also not as loud as other places, perfect for girls night out. Loved the food here. The smoked beet salad had a really cool presentation, wish I had taken a picture. One of us had a yummy cocktail. Recommend the gazpacho, brussel sprouts and scallops

Sarah Johnson

Went with a small group, had brunch and an amazing salad. Drinks were original and delicious.

Sterling Ross

Awesome upstairs place! Food is outstanding and the waiter took a lot of pride in the details, which I thought was great. 4stars bc lots of extra charges that really added up.

Amber Bernard

Stopped in for a quick drink and snack. They have really good happy hour and the sliders were delicious! Also their drink with the honey dew melon is amazing, I would definitely recommend. This place is a good spot for a few drinks and apps.

Clifford Robbins

Quaint and fun. Excellent food and good service. Some of the steel chairs at the tables are not very comfortable because they slope you forward I probably should have asked for a cushion.

Ernest Rhone

Excellent place to eat. Perfect atmosphere.

Adam J. Greenberg

Will not go back. Service was horrible, food was not on par with other reviews at all. Pasta was so Al dente it had crunch. Take your money and your taste buds elsewhere.

BJ Slater

The Bolognese was pretty good as well as some of the sides. The meat and cheese board was underwhelming to say the least. Overall everything was tasty but portions varied without rhyme or reason. Not in a hurry to go back. Some of the things were a bit pretentious but maybe that tickles your fancy.

Cliff Bell

Amazing dining experience. The patatas bravas are some of my favorite! They also have a great happy hour menu. Would highly recommend!!

Katy A

Came for breakfast. The chilaquiles we're amazing!! The andouli sausage my boyfriend got had A LOT of fatty pieces in it. He had two bites then didn't even finish the sausage. The English muffin we think was sourdough but was a bit too sour for us. The bloody Mary was the best mix we have ever had and I don't even like BMary's! The cart is cute they bring to the table. Overall I recommend this place to go with a great ambiance! This drink menu is a bit...silly. it is in a book like an actual book they put on the table. but some people might like that kind of thing.

Lauren Scobel

Good food and prices for happy hour.

Dianasaurus

Came here for date night and was not disappointed! I love the ambience and how quickly seated we were (make a reservation!). I had the pork chop and my husband had the chicken for the entrées but what really stood out for me were the 'snacks.' Sooooo good

Anthony Caponigro

I was there at nite when the place really gets started good food, n drinks a bit pricey but when your from NY NJ prices are always high

Lannette Phipps

Great Good and Awesome Bartender! Stopped in for some wine, an Old Fashioned and the sprouts and tuna apps. Excellent and Brussels were probably best I've ever had! Great service.

Bettie Reinhardt Shepherd

Service was very good but food was just OK.

Tiffany Johnson

Great atmosphere and decor. Drinks - I had the cucumber honey mimosa, was delish. Food was especially good and presented nicely. Great coffee and pastry bar.

Albert G

Amazing food and cocktails. Very well done.

Tyler Anneliese Moselle

One of the most romantic date nights I've ever had was an early sunset dinner on a Friday night with my boyfriend. Service is impeccable here, the staff is fantastic at making sure everything from your beer to your dessert is on-pointe for your palate. The naturally-lit open feeling makes this upstairs spot feel bigger than it is. Seasonal menu changes quite often, but I loved the unique cheese board with house cured meats and dried fruits. Don't forget how great restaurant week is here, along with two affordable happy hours at 4-7pm and 10-11:30 in the bar!

Vidal Espinosa

Amazing food and service...

Diane Harrell

We love this place! Very upbeat, casual and hip. We have only had drinks and a few appetizers at the bar. The bartenders are friendly and excellent at mixing some of the most delicious cocktails!

Claudia Consalvo

The drinks, food, and appetizers were all amazing. It was pricey, but I thought it was worth the price!

Ronald Harrell

Great place for apps & drinks

Mr F

Excellent food and service in a generally quieter side of town.

Michael Wahl

This place has a great vibe!

Reese Murphy

american food... super yummy. I was super full. I'll return friends next time. This place has a great feel to it. Kinda of like a restaurant in Los Angeles I loved to visit.

EllyR C

No wait! Hidden gem! GOOD food and reasonable prices. The service was fast and friendly. I had the Butternut Squash and Kale lasagna and was pleasantly surprised! I definitely recommend.

Courtney Ochi

like that they offer HH on the weekends. Hard to find, especially in Little Italy. Drinks and appetizers are all priced at $5.55 at the bar and in the lounge area. Tables are communal so get cozy. This restaurant is so cute. I love the atmosphere. They've got tables set up in what feels like a library with cute decor everywhere. This would be a great date night spot. I loved the drink I tried. It was a vodka based drink with lemon and ginger beer. It was honestly one of the tastiest drinks I've had. So simple but so refreshing I was, however, really disappointed with our appetizer. We got the tots and they were NOT tater tots. They were made with tapioca balls and had a strange consistency. They should have advertised them as fried tapioca balls instead cause it was a huge surprise and not pleasant.

William Brien

Very cool restaurant ! Excellent food

Jonathan Sanchez

Saw the reviews online so I had to see for myself what the hype was about. Needless to say , I had an amazing experience here. Great atmosphere, amazing hospitality and even better food.

John Begg

The food was really good. We visited during happy hour and it was a very good deal. Lots of food and drink without having to take out a loan. Only complaint was the music was way too loud.

Eric Johnston

Buttermilk fried chicken sandwich and homemade fries make for a delicious lunch.

Lynn Lohmeyer

Nice casual place for Sunday brunch. Interesting menu. Good service. Food a solid B.

Tom Annese

Great food and service. Order a Sazerac, trust me.

M Murray

So the food is good but we had a waiter that was not adept at his job. We had group of 16 adults between two tables and he would not take any food OR appetizer orders until the whole table knew what they wanted as a main course. He could not get drinks right, three of the 7 at my table were oy having water. Also, the A/C vents leak on you if you sit under one of the many that they have. Food was tasty. Then came the bill. We asked for individual receipts at the beginning but he assured us that was not possible. He then broke it up by table and we handed him cards and cash. He didn't like that and as we discussed it he said he might just break it all down to individual checks. What? Like we asked for at the beginning? Finally we helped him with the math and he got the bill settled, with attitude I will add. BTW they tack on a "service" charge of 4%. Why??? Just change your prices or eat it. Anyways, between the inept waiter, leaking A/C, bogus service charge and overall vibe I'm one-and-done here. On the bright side, they are next to Salt n Straw so you can get some tasty ice cream.

Josh Jonte

The ideal of a good hipster-cuisine fine dining establishment. Nothing here is 'cheap', either in price or quality. Reservations recommended. Very good mixed drinks and an eclectic beer selection. Airy dining space with a mixture of reclaimed wood and dark metals, overlooking India street from its second story location above the thoroughfare through Little Italy.

Dorothy A-Rod

Loved the food. The lavender lemonade is amazing. Well priced, quiet and peaceful restaurant.

Rebecca Sees

Delish food. Service was top notch service. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Christopher Hyman

Good food. Good beer. Friendly staff

Todd Frost

Brunch was a little bit of heaven on Earth. The spinach eggs were fantastic.

Alexander Meyer

Bottomless mimosas!

kevin heijn

AMBIANCE: Chill spot to order dinner and also drinks on a Friday night with friends\/dates\/bday parties\/etc! Found in the heart of Little Italy so very hassle-free to hang around the area later on as well.FOOD: We purchased the fries and also mac

Amanda Simpson

The best chicken sandwich I have ever had!

Ariel Weber

Nice location for quality american food. service is always nice even when they have a full house. the bill won't shock you.

Ranmali Rodrigo

We hit up the Prepkitchen happy hour. The drinks and food were as great as always, but for the first time, the service was pretty bad. I have never had this experience there so I'm still giving this restaurant 5 stars based on my previous dinner and happy hour experiences. Did I saw the food and cocktails were delicious? Go for the food and cocktails no matter what.

mike smythe

This is an exceptional place, with an exceptional staff! The food is always on point and the service as well. I am a frequent patron as of recent months and even though I can say nothing negative, I'd like to boast about the staff. Everyone is always pleasant and friendly, and they all really seem to be conscious of ensuring a positive experience for all of the customers, all of the time. I'd like to extend my gratitude to David especially for taking care of myself and my 3 children on Father's Day, 2015. A sincere act of kindness and generosity to my family deserves mention. Another touch of class added to your restaurant today with your kind professionalism; my children were amazed and awed as was myself to say the least. Thank you to all at Prep Kitchen, Little Italy. I will continue to advocate and share your culinary blessings with all that I know and meet. Don't change a thing! Best regards, Mike Smythe

lisa davis

Our favorite spot! Food and drinks are amazing, and the service is 2nd to none!

Tom Moore

Too expensive, but good.

Josh Lesko

A great place for brunch, lunch, or late night fare. The after 10pm menu had great deals on food and cocktails, and with a relaxed atmosphere you can't go wrong. Never overcrowded, this is a great place to start off the night or wrap things up.

Mel

We booked this restaurant at the last minute when we couldn't get resos else where. We walked in on a Wednesday night around dinner time and it was quiet. The atmosphere was lovely and we were excited for our first SD dinner as a family. I'll also note that our waiter was lovely. We ordered our dishes; here are our reviews: Bolognese: mostly pasta with a unique white sauce in the top. Little meat and it tasted sadly less appealing than Hamburger Helper. Ceviche: 4 pieces of shrimp in a large glass of shrimp cocktail sauce with thin slices of cucumber. The chips were tasty but after a few bites we sent it back. It was comped. Shirley temple: strawberry lemonaid Squash pasta: mostly regular pasta with a few veggies, including squash. Kids pasta w kids veggies: good Side of toasted bread: much appreciated that they accommodated us with this, seeing it wasn't on the menu (for our baby to eat) Needless to say, we only commented on the ceviche but walked away hungry and were too polite to comment on the rest. I've only sent food back at a restaurant twice in my life, this being one of them. We wouldn't recommend this restaurant, only based on the food alone.

Luc Doan

It was Friday after-work happy hour in Little Italy and the oyster bar next door was packed to the gills, so we decided to relocate next door to the much calmer and quieter Prepkitchen. That was probably one of the best calls of the day. At Prepkitchen, we had an entire table to ourselves and with room to stretch our arms and legs. Their happy hour menu which went until 6pm offered a variety of classic and signature cocktails starting from $5. Of the items we ordered, I'd recommend the charcuterie plate and the Tom Collins.

Charlie T

Superb!!!! Exceptional staff and food.

Natalie Pick

Loved their $5 happy hour with the French 75. The bacon wrapped dates were disappointing. They give you 3 olive size dates. I've never seen dates so small. The service was excellent. Everything that was ordered was delicious and devoured. I will be going back next time in Little Italy.

Jessica Kasmire

I love this place! The drinks are well thought out and hand crafted. The food is a party in your mouth! It's dark and tucked away upstairs. It is an intimate place to have great food, coversation and drinks. This place is a hidden gem.

carleton daniels

Awesome service and really big and delicious salads⏫⏫⏫

Victor Beltran

Still great, good food and nice atmosphere

Tu Lam

Breakfast at the #PrepKitchen is a no fuss place with hearty food. There was plenty of forks darting across the table to sample each other's good. This place is hoping busy on Saturday. Service is quick and friendly, coffee is self serve.

Mark S. Lewis

Ambiance was great. Fascinating decor. Food was good but not great. Service was great however. Would go back to try it again. This review was on a brunch.

K Moss

Incredible food. A little pricy, but the happy hour specials are a steal! Must try: Korean Beef Sliders.

Alex Hillis

Great food, great drinks, great service. We had a goup of 10 and everyone was happy with their meal.

Chuck Brandi

The place is good...problem is it's surrounded by places that are great....if your in Del Mar, go...but in little italy downtown there's far better

adam nyre

Tried going for lunch but wasn't open at 1130. I tried calling; however, nobody answered. There was a line of people waiting outside to get in that had to go somewhere else to eat

Kurt Kroeber

Their bottomless mimosas were truly endless

Sul Arm

Tasty food, amazing staff and beautiful atmosphere. If you’re in Little Italy definitely recommend you go here for dinner!!!

Darren Crawford

Place is the highlight of little italy. Great food and even better drinks. You have to try the penicillin.

Tom Phelka

I very much enjoyed this restaurant. The mimosas were great and they have more interesting options than just orange juice. The best part is the great huge windows that let in lots of light but the food was also fantastic. It can be difficult to find the entrance if you are on the corner near their sign. Look for a big PK logo on a door two doors from the corner and head upstairs.

Iris Mata

Cocktails are Awesome

Samuel Day

Good spot for a quiet dinner and drinks. The staff is very friendly and the food is amazing!

Victor Fer

Best burgers in South bay hands down. No one does it better down here. Real bacon. Real premium ground beef. The way a burger is supposed to be done, great.

Auntie Lynn

The Tarbenders were magnamus!! The puu puus were "Broke da mouth"!! O would recommend this place all day!!

Local guide/food critic Quality - 4/5 Facility. - 5/5 Service. - 5/5 Presentation - 4/5 Price - 3/5 Summed up: quality date spot! High quality modern takes on foods you are(mostly) used to seeing. The location and atmosphere should sell you alone but great food with excellent service really brings it home. I’ll be back here many more times no doubt.

Tania Babaie

Pros: We came here to celebrate a birthday. Their food was delicious and service was great. We ordered the veggie lettuce cups, the ceviche, the 2 eggs breakfast plate, 2 French toast, a slider, and Caesar salad. And the waitstaff was nice enough to bring us a small birthday ice cream dessert. Con: The only downside during our experience was finding a hair in my Caesar salad. I think the way they handled this issue was unusual. They brought me out a new Caesar salad and charged me for it. At that point I wanted to eat anything but that salad. I think we can all agree that finding someone else's hair in your food is really disgusting. On top of that I don't if they brought me a fresh salad or if they brought the same one out after removing the hair. I think a better way of handling this issue would have been to simply remove the salad from the tab. I docked one star for this reason.

Dustin Schuett

Very good food. Great ambiance. The Brussels sprouts were to die for.

Andie Jokerst

A little pricey for lunch, but they have a delicious happy hour with well-made drinks.

Jorge Pagan

I have a great time with friends. The brunch was excellent as the service

Rand Daoud

Kinda pricey and the menu doesnt have many options like other restaurants do.

Andy Lin

Pretty decent food. Nice modern decor. Ok prices for the quality of the food

Brandon Derrick Hoehl

All my wife and I can say is “WOW!” The Lemon Drop Martini and the Brussel Sprouts!!! This place screams elegance and hip and they take care of you!!! Thank you for allowing my wife and I to “LOVE” our visit to San Diego!!! This place is worth the visit!!! Thanks to the staff here!!! You’re great!!!

Arturo Kassel

I'll just echo what's already been said. Food is simple, seasonally inspired, delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. A must go in the area.

Beth Ingstad Marker

Greeted and seated quickly. Lovely view of Christmas decorations in Little Italy. Delicious brussel sprouts appetizer, butternut squash soup and Bolognese pasta. Great service too.

Ryan Buckley

Used to be one of the best happy hour spots in little Italy, but nothing like it used to be. It’s still ok, but really no reason to pick it over multiple other options that offer so much more.

Reggie Wallace

Great vibes, customer service and of course food. I haven't been to many places in little Italy, but this place is damn solid. Second time here and I wouldn't recommend the lasagna. Everything else is soo solid and you can't go wrong.

Chad Ives

Salt in everything so that you get thirsty. Small portions for lot of money. No passion put into food. No care for clean sanitation water to insure plates are clean. Cross contamination of food. Unhealthy salted food. Dirty heads cleaning. Chef Terrible

Robert Duncan

Servers very attentive, to the point of pouring wine to the right levels on a glass. Food was amazing. Flavors on point and presentation was beautiful.

Kevin Tran

Great food great atmosphere. Came here to celebrate my engagement. Recommend making reservations in advance.

Jesse Vanderhoff

Had lunch here after exploring Little Italy. The decor is very industrial and all flows very well together with wood accents everywhere. I had the cheeseburger and my girlfriend had the Caesar salad with market fish. Both dishes were exceptional and prepared in a fair amount of time. The waiter was very friendly and made sure to go out of his way to engage in some conversation with us beyond our order. Pricing is a bit high for what you get but the quality does reflect that cost.

Dwayne Chavis

Fantastic menu & food was perfect, service at the bar was spot on and very personable, atmosphere is energetic but at the same time really chill & sexy. Again, food was awesome & so were the drinks. Will be back!

Ryan Bares

Tried this place for lunch and it is AMAZING. Great rustic vibe, awesome service and quickly prepared meals. I had the burger with a fried egg. It was well-prepared and great value. I can't wait to get back to San Diego for dinner and try this place again.

Viet Dinh

Beautiful restaurant and bar which make a good place for a night out. Food is alright. We came for the happy hour and the portion was comically smaller than expected. My waiter was nice but wasn’t very attentive. After the first order, he was nowhere to be found. Would recommend to try out their menu out but don’t expect the bill to be reasonable.

Michael Robson

Took a table of 12 for a client dinner. Absolutely everyone that attended raved about the Bolognese, the steak, the wine and the appetizers and the service. I highly recommend this location for its accommodating and complete team effort of the staff accompanied by the quality of the food.

andres mendoza

The chilaquiles are great, the coffe is really good and the blueberry muffins too

Rob Trendiak

Cannot say enough good things about Prepkitchen. Food was amazing and our server went above and beyond. Will be back!

Junko Lentz

We went there today to meet my old friend for lunch. We had 2 little kids, and one of them decided to not to eat what she ordered. Our waiter was kind enough to come up with idea of grilled cheese sandwich which was not on their menu. and she loved it! He even said the sandwitch was on him! We loved other food, and atmosphere was great.

Dan Lovis

Delicious food

caroline johnson

This is a cute little place, I had the chiliquiles which had to much tomato sauce, they were not good at all. I was very disappointed.

Neil Diaz

Good wine on the list. The food is very filling and tastes great (though I was starving when I arrived). The waitresses are very prompt and attentive for a 20 person party and the delicious food came quick (we pre-ordered food for our reservation). A friend dropped a fork, and they were able to be flagged down and replace the fork in a couple minutes. Fairly noisy if you're trying to have an intimate conversation as a couple. Definitely a good place you intend to have a social dinner with pals.

Dan Smith

Love this place. Great food and a great place for a lunch meeting.

Diane Rowland

Ok place for quality American food. will surely make a return trip. prices are decent.

Anthony Tran

Good service, awesome location and view. Good presentation of food and drink

Phillip Jackson

Great food with a unique environment, esthetic to the eye and pleasing to the belly!

Jobie Low

Came here on a Saturday night, early for a reservation and they were accommodating. Not that they weren't busy-we came at about 6 and by 7-ish the place was slammed. There's an upscale vibe here-not hipster but a coolness that isn't pretentious. The food is pretty straight forward, pretty enough to appreciate the ingredients but still know what you ordered. We had the skinny fries with three dipping sauces-very crispy, not oily, and you can't stop dipping them in ketchup, ranch, or a spicy aioli. Next up was a Caesar salad with a fine shred of Parmesan, crisp croutons that melted in your mouth. We also ordered the Papardelle Pasta with a Braised Short Rib - so tender but the pasta sad packed with flavor. Sooo good! Finally we had the Fish Tacos, the only slight miss of the evening. It was okay relative to the other dishes but it lacked flavor. Our waiter was knowledgeable and not overbearing, like he's been doing this for a while. Come to think of it, the entire waitstaff was cool that way. I'd come back in a heartbeat, what a great experience!

Michael McGlauchlin

Amazing food, great service, a great experience

Kim Pinzini

Best Happy Hour Ever!! Bartender very educated!!

Gene Howington

Simply stunning. A Top 10 meal. Get there if you can.

Ronner H

A nice establishment and upscale eatery. However the service wasn't very good and the food was average.

Kimberly Sabat

Incredible service friendly casual , unique flavor to the dishes. Classic in its own way. Definitely a great find! I'm so glad I took a second look! Don't miss this gem of a restaurant. Upscale food with a casual touch. Easy to miss hard to forget

Dustin Pyper

The place was very fun and romantic, great place for a date. The service was awesome, very attentive and knowledgeable but still gave us the right amount of privacy. My food was excellent (I had the chicken) but my wife did not like her food at all (she had the local crudo). Would've given five stars easily if it wasn't for the food

Always a delight. The drinks are well made and creative. We love the food on offer at happy hour, particularly the fried rice and the Korean sliders. Most of all, we appreciate that they offer Happy Hour 7 days a week. Most concerning, though, the Prep Kitchen restaurants have been sold to a new group from Las Vegas. We hope they don't turn them into a typical Vegas show, all glitz and no soul.

This place is AMAZING. The atmosphere is very chill, the service is fantastic and the food is to die for. If you have the option, request to be waited by Darius (?)... he's the best waiter/server ever - very upbeat, knows the menu and can suggest from experience. My friend and I shared the punch bowl of white wine sangria ... very tasty. We had a few appetizers: the (s)quid, oysters, and some flat bread I think. All were delicious but the first was amazing ... they had it with this delicious marinara sauce. My friend and I shared the Blue Plate ... pork with heated/cooked potato salad. The pork was unbelievably tasty, full of flavor and very moist. The potato salad was seasoned perfectly and when put together with the pork for one big bite, it was like heaven in my mouth. Darius gave us a plate of their cookies which were perfect to end with. Their chocolate chip cookies are perfectly soft, crunchy and sweet. Lastly, the view is incredible. Definitely a must place to go to - more than once.
