This is my 2nd visit to this restaurant. My first visit was absolutely amazing! I got chicken and waffles!!! So delicious. However, today I visited and had a very bad experience. Our waitress serving us came to our table with animal hairs all over her shirt front and back. The manager was gracious and gave us a different waitress. The food this time was not as good unfortunately. The temperature for ther food was not hot and it did not taste as scrumptious as my first visit. They were super busy with graduation parties so I am sensitive that played a part.

Penfolds has the greatest food.!!! They have a wide selection of super yummy stuff. Their cinnamon rolls are crazy good. Also their service is top notch their servers are the nicest people. Make sure you say hi to Tracy, Nancy , Inez And the rest of the super wonderful people that always treat me with kindness and make sure you have everything you need. I have traveled all over the world and I’m telling you this is the best place to eat breakfast.

Came here for the first time on our way to a spa day. Breakfast was delicious and generous. Sat at the bar because it was crowded, but that was the best spot because we got to see all the delicious food being ordered. Ordered Ortega omelette with ham and avocado, veggie omelette with Hollandaise sauce and chicken fried steak breakfast. Staff was super friendly. Brought out a huge cinnamon role with candles for our friend. Made you feel like home. Shout out to our waitress who's turning 60 on 7/24

As far as variety of options on a menu goes, this place has you covered! The portion size matches the respective price. The quality of food, taste, temperature, and originality are top-notch. Their chorizo omelette and Cap n' Crunch French toast were phenomenal! This restaurant also offers baked good options made that are made on site. The waiting staff is average in regards to friendliness and attentiveness. It may also be difficult to find parking.

Very nice place to have breakfast or lunch. We have visited Penfold's on and off for many years. The last few times we have seen an exceptional improvement in how quickly they are serving customers. Although it may seem that it might take a long time to be seated, it does not. Very good food.

The food was great, I had the cowboy chicken fried steak honestly this could have fed 2 to 3 people it came with 3 eggs home fries and a side of biscuits and gravy my sister had the fried chicken and waffles that also came with eggs I should have taken pictures beforehand but couldn't wait to dig in they have an amazing menu and the service is awesome....This is a truly a treasure and must try if you want to try a new spot they are open until 3pm

Everytime we're in Temecula we have to have breakfast at Penfold's. Get the chicken fried steak and eggs with a side of biscuits and gravy. Big enough to share. Our waitress Stephanie was top notch. Highly recommend Penfold's.

I hadn’t been here in years! The food was excellent! AND - now they have liquor- wow! I ordered a feta cheese, spinach omelette- a co-worker had the croissants sandwich. We all were Impressed with our food and we are the WORST people to serve - extremely picky - high maintenance. Our server, Tracy, was amazing. We were having a meeting and she put up with our constant re-fills, delays and general lagging. Plus - I always ask a million menu questions and she answered patiently which I appreciate. Penfold’s is an Old Town favorite that serves awesome food. They have amazing food with a HUGE menu. Something very every dietary need. Plus they are affordable - not like some of the ridiculous newer places in Old Town that try to charge $17 for an omelet.

Came in for breakfast with our friends before the Balloon and Wine Festival. It was very busy but we were seated quickly and the service was incredibly gracious. We were well taken care of by a very friendly and capable staff. Oh, and the food and coffee was absolutely delicious and plentiful. We will definitely come back when we are in Temecula! My favorite place to go for breakfast. Excellent baked goods. They make the best blueberry muffin that I have ever had. Best chicken fried steak, pancakes, omelettes and the list goes on. Everything is always so fresh and you never leave hungry.

I'm from out of town, but I try to go here every time I'm in town. I really like the food and the cinnamon roll. I've usually gone for breakfast but tried lunch last time and I liked the burger I got. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff and vintage toy decorations.

Food wasn't as well prepared as it was last visit. The omelet came out like a Denver scrambled and the peppers were pretty firm. My pancakes had traces of someone elses order(nuts). Also I had to pay $8 for pancakes with my omlete even though I didn't get any sides with the omlete.

They actually got turkey bacon crisp without burning it! And yummy crisp hash browns too. Loved that you can get half an avocado on the ala carte menu. Coffee was decent. Huge cinnamon rolls, even split between three people you got a sugar fix for days. Lots of things to look at and enjoy. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Will be stopping again next time in Temecula.

This is probably one of my go to places for comfort and delicious food. The pork belly sandwich is so unique and amazing and the chaperones for appetizers are awesome. I have had probably 3/4 of what's on the menu and everything is really really good!! Wait to you see the desert!! What puts this place over the top is the warm sincere service you get from the staff and owners!!

Loved Penfold's Cafe!!! Absolutely amazing find. Clean restaurant EXTREMELY Friendly and attentive staff and the food portions are out of this world!! I met clients there and got a really fun dish called "The Mess". It's made eggs, hash browns, onions, spinach, mushrooms, peppers and ground beef all scrambled into one big "Mess" and topped with Jack , Cheddar cheese and salsa. The baked goods though is where it's at! They had quite possibly the largest Cinnamon roll I've ever seen in my life! All so delicious too! So if you're in the Temecula area be sure and give them a try. Very highly recommended!!!

BEST BREAKFAST IN TOWN! Easily the best. I love their Belgian waffle or their French toast. Both of those options are easy on your wallet, but not so much around the waste. I absolutely love this place! I have only eaten breakfast here. But all the stuff for breakfast is amazing. Try " The Mess" . Everything in it but the kitchen sink. All scrambled up. And the biscuits and gravy are delicious. Very much like you are eating at someone's grandmother's house.

I came into the restaurant questioning the place and the food after ordering my food to go and talking with the owner's son I felt at ease. I thought the prices were a little high but when I got back home with my food I was shocked and said " it is worth the price" very family orientated, family friendly, nice employees from what I seen. For my first time there I give it FIVE STARS!!! they are open seven days a week from 3:30am to 3:00pm.

I have been here twice and the first time was with my 4 year old grandson. The food was really good but today . I order a build your own omelette , side of sausage link and side of waffles. The omelette was ok until I started tasting harsh brown . So I called the store and nick the manager came on the line. Right away I knew he wasn’t going to do nothing. So I ask him does the omelettes cooked with harsh brown and he claim not. But I taste harsh browns . I told him I don’t want any free food not that he was going to give me a new omelette . Also the salsa wasn’t good Penfold use to be really good but not today. I will not be going back there

My family and I have been coming to Penfold’s regularly since we moved to the area about 5 years ago. We have tried many of the other local breakfast places and Penfold’s by far remains our favorite. The wait is never ridiculously long, the service is always quick and friendly and the food never disappoints. Don’t waste your time going to all these new, trendy breakfast places where you have to wait an hour to be seated and it takes forever to get your food which only turns out to be about average. Trust me, come to Penfold’s instead. You won’t be disappointed.
