This place was really atrocious, the dining area smelled like a wet stinking dog. The food was cold and unsavory, The condiment bottles (the salt and pepper shakers, ketchup and soy sauce bottles) were very sticky to the touch. It was just outright disgusting. On top of that, one of the employees was obnoxiously loud. The red carpet has turned into a shade of brown and the whole experience was just awful. It was the epitome of a Big Time Ghetto Buffet! Come and see it for yourself, if you do not have strong stomach...you would barf. This place is a complete disaster.

The sushi is very good but dont eat alot as they say. U know with eating raw fish. Should know already. The other asian fair is typical Chinese like. But they ad in crappy pizza. DO NOT RECOMMEND the pizza. Stay away really. Nice array of fresh fruit to eat instead of the pudding if you want to stay healthy.

I have never ever felt the need to bash a restaurant like this one. This place is BEYOND disgusting. BEYOND DISGUSTING. I go to a lot of chinese buffets. I understand that they are never super clean. The bathroom in this place was gross. Worse than the bathrooms in my frat in college. Bad. Plates in the new plate racks were dirty. The food had clearly been out for hours and hours as some of it was dry and crusty from the warming lamps The floors were gross. The walls were dirtier than my old frat. DO NOT GO HERE! HORRIBLE!

NYC Buffet is an all you can eat buffet, nothing really outstanding. Baked salmon was overcooked, as was the mackerel. The cantaloupe and honeydew were not ripe and hard. Cheesecake, coffee cake, ice cream were good. Clam chowder watery.

I love coming here. They have such a variety of food. I come back here every time for their seafood. Especially the sushi. They have all kinds and for dinner hour's they have amazing oysters! They also have a variety of fresh fruit also desserts. Waiters are very attentive. Great service. Overall a great place

Oh man oh man oh man ... This was just so bad. When you eat this food - all you can do is exclaim your sadness. There is no passion or freshness in this kitchen. Everything was very old and scarce. The people sitting next to our table were daring each other to taste the dishes because it was so bad. This buffet is overpriced. I immediately felt sick. To be noted - there are actually signs to let you know just how bad this restaurant is if you just look around. There are cameras everywhere and on one of the giant flat screens there is not a tv program but instead proof to you of the cameras - probably bc or so many people ditching their dishes. There are also notes on the sneeze guards saying that if you put something on your plate - you must pay. Idk I’m flabbergasted by it all and not sure how to be clear about this. I’m not one to leave a review but ... The people gotta know.

I use to love this stuff..but the service and quality of food has decreased dramatically and no longer worth a drain of our pocket$$. Some of the vegis are soggy and look like they were re-heated or sat there all day. The meat is greasy&very salty. To be fair we were going there during busy hours(dinner) so perhaps the staff just had some bad days but for a buffet,they ran out of food too often but too slow(sometimes rude)to replace it. The sushi bar service was an interesting&humbling experience;each time I went, the samishi(salmon by itself)seem to be finished and I'd ask the guy behind the counter and he would tell me to wait 10min&then take a break then come back 15min later to prep the samishi--mind you I'm starving and came to the place looking fwd to this specific dish, but I guess that's a personal problem

The place was clean, food good. However we were treated with disrespect. We were eating and laughing and enjoying ourselves. Several times the waitress came our food.table to tell us how much we owe. We hadn't even finished our. She came again saying how much we owe. So I asked do you want us to pay now? She said yes but every other group paid as they were leaving. I politely informed them that not all black people steal or run out without paying. I don't like places like this who treat people like criminals because of the color of their skin.

Went last night on a recommendation. It's $17.59 per adult at the door. Open buffet style. Yes, they have a wide variety of choices but nothing is good or flavorful. The floors were sticky, slippery and covered with food debris. The food was not fresh. Parking was in the rear. I just won't return under any circumstances or for free. Your fountain beverage comes with the bland meal.

Great food and selection. Priced way too high. I went there with a group of 15 people. They still charged us like $22 a person and they add their own gratuity to each customer which I thought was ridiculous since its a self serve buffet. Giving the 3 stars for the quality and variety of foods. Very very good food.

3.5 stars! from me. My son and I went together for the first time. We had a really good time fellowshiping and sampling the various dishes. More than 5 types of ice served. Saw a young women eating a pan of the $2.99lbs for buttered, garlicky soaked lobster. Gonna go back and try some. Staff was friendly

This is the best Chinese restaurant in the Bay Area, this was my first time eating there today. I've passed by here for 2 years, the food was delicious, there was a lot of different entrees to pick from. The customer service was very professional and the restroom and restaurant as a whole was very clean, you must go check it out take your family!! The prices are very reasonable I told the owner I was going to give him 5 stars. Don't take my word for it, go try it for yourself you won't regret it, you will tell all your family and friends. Its a real good place for Church get-togethers

Changing my review from a 4 star to a 1 star after witnessing horrible customer service. Saw 2 customers who grabbed a plate from the dinner section. When they had paid for lunch because they came 30 minutes before dinner time. The staff was rude and demanded extra payment after the customer had not even touched the food. There could have been better ways to handle the situation.

Visited about 7pm with a total of 3 people. Restaurant was a little bit slow not crowded maybe 30% full. Went to wash my hands only to find the bathroom absolutely filthy with standing water in a bucket under the sink, dripping, leaking urinals and yeah on the floor, not a good start. Grabbed a plate of food, everything looked like it had been picked over and there were many items that had very little left. Most of the items tasted the same with a heavy oily overtone. The deep fried fish was safe and although a bit dry, one of the best items I tried. On a scale of one to ten I'd rate it a 4, maybe 4.5. one of the employees was dumping soy sauce into a bucket in front of us and then refilling them, presumably after he washed them, however the bucket of soy sauce sat there in the open with flies and guests walking by anyone of which could have contaminated it. The carpets had that matted down sticky feel as you walked across them. If your desperate this place might work however for nearly$60 for three, I'd head to a traditional Chinese restaurant, have them come 4to5 selections for your fresh and share them for the same or less money. China Town in Oakland has some ahhhmazzzzzing Chinese restaurants.

DON’T EAT HERE!!!! SPOILED FOOD. Girlfriend ate bad eggs here and the staff didn’t care a bit at all. I informed them my girlfriend is still breastfeeding as we have a four month old. I wanted it to go on record and the girl called her boss laughing while talking to her. Her boss didn’t care. They didn’t even compensate our plate. What a shame I used to love coming here but no more....

Not as clean feeling and delicious as it used to be when it was Century Buffet. I didn't feel great after eating here. It was decent, but I really miss Century. It looks the same, but it's not. The love and dedication feels absent. I think they raised the prices too if I recall.

The menu is no longer appealing to us. button mushrooms, steamed fish with bones, squid, Sushi, Bok Choy, cold snow crab, fried bananas, white ham & sea bass. I wont be back. If you want to lure us back, try Mac & Cheese, Yams, Collard greens and fried chicken......
