Went after the lunch crowd at 1:30 pm. I Seated right away. They ran out of chicken pot pie so I order the chicken scampi. Wife ordered the famous fried chicken with mashed potatoes. Both meals came with a salad and their famous buttermilk biscuits. Everything was delicious. Fried chicken was moist inside and crispy outside. Chicken scampi was not overcooked and tasted great! Table service was excellent.

Shelley Perlin

This chicken dinner has been awesome since I have been a child. Still great today

Janet Gutierrez

A lot of food for the dinner. Price a little high. Chicken needs more flavor! Its a chicken place so chicken should be the best thing. The soup, biscuits and the mashed potatoes were the best part !

Cc Mora'

Please let the chef taste the biscuits before let the waiters get the.! I have never tasted biscuits so bad. Bitter! What will you have? They have chicken, chicken, and chicken hahahah Boysenberry! Mmmm Corn bread is good. Spicy BBQ "meatballs" ahhhhg REALLY GOOD! Tasted the chicken sandwich good! Triple berry salad...mmmmm good. Big too.

I think this place is very much a tourist trap. It's huge and has lots of options. The nostalgia of going to Knott's berry farm and getting boysenberry everything is what got me in the door. The meals are approx $22-$28 per person which is a bit of an overcharge for the quality. The portions are huge so you can totally share. The fried chicken is equivalent to Popeyes and sides are just meh. I told them we were there to celebrate my nephews birthday and they completely forgot. Had to request right in front of him when they already brought us the bill. Really ruined the surprise factor. They did get everyone together to sing to him which was nice. I wouldn't recommend this place for food quality but ambience is nice and it's located right outside the park.

Barbara Schankerman

My first time and I LOVED it!!! The waiter, Rich, was awesome! The food was fantastic and plentiful!!! I'm not going to wait too long before I go back.

Robin Colomb Sugiura

Waaaay overpriced. The chicken pot pie was all soggy cost and very salty, the fried chicken was tough, the corn was salty. Everything tasted over-processed, no fresh bright flavors. The only thing that was interesting was the cherry rhubarb. We would have been happier across the street at TGI Fridays, and we really don't enjoy their food.

This place is not the HYPE people Are saying on here. My family just ate here on 8/12/19 after our visit to Knotts. Our total bill was $106. For family of 5. The chicken was bland, not a lot a flavor. Pie and mashed potatoes are delicious. We were seated in the coldest room they have. Not my words... the manager used those exact words. We had to wear jackets...seriously that cold and asked to be moved. Server was nice and professional. My opinion is KFC is better. 80% of our food was tossed in the trash. I recommend sharing a plate before wasting money if you wanted to try it for your self.

R. Patricia Cooke

The good and the service was very good. Our server was nice efficient and helpful. Chicken and Boysenberry are the main attractions. I would go back again.

Charles Ricci

I came for a quick bite. Really quick service and polite. Farmhouse decor nicely done. Spicy BBQ boysenberry chicken meatballs with Boysenberry corn muffins, with a boysenberry beer. Good stuff

Amanda Lewis

Love this place but not sure how I like the new decor. Missing the old style. Best chicken dinner EVER! AWESOME bisquits, my kids and I love them so much, we fight over left overs

Shaun Alvarez

The food is great and the dinner portion is a ton of food. Can't recommend it enough if you are in the area and looking for a delicious chicken dinner!

Me and my two friends came from Florida to go to Knott’s Berry Farms and stopped here to have a little pre dinner. We ended up sharing one of those dinner platters and it comes with so much food! If one person had that there’s no way I could have finished it. Our server was great! He brought us everything related to boysenberry because we just had to try it. Great place don’t forget to try the boysenberry mojito & lemon drop!!

Nicole Neely

Our waiter/bartender was so very nice and sweet on such a busy day of the Knott's Boysenberry Festival on April 28th. He was on top of everything that early morning. It was my niece's, and my two daughters first time eating here. The food still taste just like Mrs. Knott's first opened the doors to the world. Still has that homemade fresh from scratch and not dry, but moist and soft buttery biscuits, and all the food taste wonderful and full of flavor in every bite!

Bill Breidenbach

Went for the BOO-FET before going to the scary farm, good selection and plenty to eat.

AD H

Ugh! I really wanted to love this place, but it just wasn't good, at all!! I love the retro nostalgia of having everything authentic, but some things need to be updated, starting with the staff. Our server was beyond slow, forgetful and eventually just kind of gave up towards the end of our stay. The food, mediocre at best. The fried chicken was crispy, but so bland my fiance didn't even finish! Next time we'll just stick with amusement park food...you know what you're getting that way...

Walter Conover

It was just ok. Food is very similar to Black eyed pea, but more expensive. Fried chicken is their signature and it is good, but excessively greasy. Cobbler we tried for dessert was tasty of not super heavy after the main course. Waitress was nice but stretched thin and haggard.

EmoliaIsAGirl Cit

It wasn't the best, It was normal chicken nothing special Yes people were nice, though food not so good

Jason Cabral

It was really good. I tried out the fried chicken and it was amazing! Plus the price was great. Thanks guys, it was a pleasure. I can't wait to see you guys again.

Nicholaus Kardeke

Great food and EXCEPTIONAL service. Bonnie was truly the Mrs. Knott's for us, catering to our large family so wonderfully. She truly made it a magical experience, even though it was just dinner! I can't wait to come back!

Hillary Goebel

Incredible! The fried chicken is the best I've ever had. It was tender and juicy and the breading was to die for. Our server was also fantastic and she was only training!! The restaurant was very clean and although it's outside the park it was very easy to go in and out to grab lunch. Only downside I can find is the side options. My special needs son has texture issues and an option of French fries or fruit would have been nice. Definitely recommend!

Jeremiah Tipton

May seem expensive at first glance. However you get large servings of food. The food is also amazing. We were able to share two chicken dinners to feed three people and still had leftovers.

Gregory Forster

I hadn't been there probably in at least 10 years. I was really surprised at how they have redone the entire restaurant environment. Contemporary and hospitable and warm. One thing they did not change is the chicken dinner which remains an icon unto itself. Delicious. Free Marketplace parking. No Reservations were needed for a Sunday summer lunch.

Valerie Lopez

My husband & I took our children for the day to knotts. And decided to eat here & it was good. I had a great server.

Teresita Cocio

Dinner was good. The wait wasn't long but it was a weekday. Our waitress was really nice. Would come again. I'll bring my own Chalula hot sauce- they only have Tabasco

Edith Sanchez

Delicious meal a bit pricey but very good. We ordered the chicken and dumplings as well as their chicken sliders. Delicious.

Pixel Entertainment

First round of water tasted great but I wasn't asked if I wanted anything else aside from water. Tasted alright but the second round of it tasted like came from a Camel's mouth and sat on the counter at room temperature for 12 hours straight only to be transferred into a metal container that was forged from the metal in the sewers below the restaurant. The chicken fried steak was played up by my family and friends who all said it was the best but I have to disagree. It was as bland as Mariah Carey's singing that gets played every Christmas. Come eat at your own risk and make sure to ask for better water otherwise you get sewer backwash.

Kari Nava

The chicken was flavorless! It wasn't as tasty as it was 2 years ago. The service wasn't the greatest. We sat there for over 20 minutes and after asking 3 different employees to send a server our way we finally got our drink orders taken. Our server looked miserable and had a poor attitude. The sides were good but you're there for the chicken! A total let down. I doubt we'll be going back.

Juan Manuel Rocha

Family chicken delicious great for the family. Bobby &, Francisco the chefs best compliments. Also great customer service our waiter Jorge. Definitely place you must go if you are in Knots Berry farm or just near by Buena Park.

Fluffs McKenzie

If you want a full meal here your options are chicken, chicken, chicken, or chicken. While sporting a much more diverse starter menu the portions on dinner are huge as they include a soup and salad, biscuits, and a slice of pie. A dinner is easily large enough for 2 people to share, but be forewarned if you do that the waiters have a high probability of giving you a dirty look. Which is the only reason I need to dock a star. Other than that food is great and has so much history behind it.

Jason Sabel

Our server Lori was amazing! She knew her stuff and took great care of my family and I! Thank you Lori for making this meal worth the wait!

Ronald Carlson

The chicken is crispy and juicy but had no flavor. It dies not have any seasonings whatsoever. The rhubarb is interesting but I'll never order it again, I'll get the soup instead. The salad is just lettuce and a cherry tomato with dressing. The corn had a canned taste to it. The mashed potatoes were good but nothing special. The best thing, of course, is the boysenberry pie which is 5 stars unto itself. Do yourself a favor and don't eat dinner here just come in for some pie

Wendy Hamm

The food I was able to eat was good, I was sick so had to watch it. Everything smelled delicious. However it is pretty pricey. Our waitress was so friendly and understanding in helping me find something for me to eat. My soup was delicious.

C GearyGearyfam

I ordered wrong thing. Chicken fried steak. I do not like it. The waitress was fantastic. Ambiance good. Photos good. Biscuits delicious. Pie delicious. Helps with parking fee. I PD 0. Some pd $30!!

Louinator59

O gosh. I hate to do this period I love mrs Knott's chicken and have been a fan above fans, but last night we got the worst service ever. Reservations at 7 o'clock. We sat at a table and nobody came to check on us for 15 minutes. I asked the front desk to seat us with a different server elsewhere and the same thing happened there. We sat for 15 minutes again. This time my wife went to the desk and talked with them. They had to clean the table with set aside and then when sat our service got a little bit better. There were not many customers in the Restaurant and certainly no reason to ignore us. So sorry knots for the badd review. I love that food too much not to go back, but more service like that and I'm done.

Linda Barrientes

The fried chicken was superb. We ordered all white meat and it was moist and tasty. I thought the mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious as was the fabulous boysenberry pie. I would have given a 5 star except for the corn which was mushy and tasteless. It seemed like it came out of a can.

Chris Kallmes

Delicious food. The prices are pretty high, but you get a lot of food for what you pay for. We upgraded the chicken meal to the all white meat for $3.99 more and it was 3 large chicken breasts. We ended up taking most of it to go because it was so much! (I was almost full after the biscuits, soup, AND salad, to be honest, but I also wanted to make room for dessert thatbwas included. The vanilla ice cream was delicious. I'm not a big pie fan, personally, but I hear the pies are very good and those are a choice as well for the meal. It was a great quality alternative to the fare inside Knott's Berry Farm, and an easy trip out and back in to the park after dinner.

jim musante

Winner, winner chicken dinner. Well....Winner, if you like plain tasting old fashioned recipes from the plains of the corn belt states. Loser if you like distinct scents, flavor, and spice. So here's what $17.29 will buy you for lunch. A plate of crispy delightful small biscuits, served with boysenberry jam and butter. Then a choice of rhubarb-cherry compote, or a very thick paste chicken soup, or an chopped salad of iceberg lettuce, shredded red cabbage, carrots, and 1 cherry tomato. Upon completion, your entree of chicken either fried or roasted will arrive. 2 pieces of hot, juicy and tender chicken. Joining the team are smoothly mashed yellow potatoes, with a crater of gravy. Some overcooked cabbage and bacon, and 1 tiny piece of parsley leaf. Service was excellent, and helpful. We were lucky to be served by Sharron. She's been working there for over 40 years. *local guide hint; Park in the "Market Place lot" 1 hour of free parking. Validate your parking ticket for 2 more hours of free parking.

Carsyn Coerper

My girlfriend and I used to love this place; it was our go to anytime we were in the area. Tonight, however, our expectations from previous visits were crushed. Although the biscuits, chicken noodle soup, mashed potatoes, and corn were great, the salad and chicken fell extremely short. The salad dressing was good but the lettuce itself wasn’t fresh. The chicken is the main reason I’m posting this review though... Originally we got 4 pieces of fried chicken with the meal, and two were discovered to be undercooked. We told our waiter and he took away the undercooked chicken and replaced it with two fresh drumsticks... unfortunately those turned out to be undercooked as well. In the end there were 4 uncooked pieces of the 6 we received. The waiter did his best to make up for the issue by asking if we’d like a different meal and gave us an extra piece of pie to go. I’m not sure we’d recommend coming here unless you ONLY came for the biscuits.

Craig Sellers

Very big portions. We sampled chicken noodle soup, berry salad, boysenberry floats, garlic fries, and chicken dinner. All very good flavor and crispness. Service was attentive and friendly. They would be 5 stars if the dinner salad wasn't bagged mix and country music wasn't played

iHATEFORCE

We could not have been more disappointed. The food is okay, not great or bad. Just okay. The real downside is the service we received from our waiter Christian. He was rude and blatantly lied to us. He continued to tell us that the "kitchen was backed up" which was why our food was taking so long to arrive. However, people around us who were seated after us received their food much sooner (they had different servers). He never thanked us for coming in and it seems like he truly doesn't care. We brought this to a manager's attention as we were leaving and she confirmed our suspicions, the kitchen was not backed up at all. Our entire poor experience falls squarely on the shoulders of our waiter. This would have been a 1 star review, but at the least the manager apologized for her underperforming employee. We will never return, thank you Christian for giving us a reason to save money and not purchase $18 fried chicken dinners in the future.

Shaun Collins

I liked the fact that if you say you are vegan they will bring you a completely different menu. I was not impressed with the vegan stir fry... But I liked the gluten free vegan mac and "cheese"... Also took a long time to get our food, although there was a lot of people due to the boysenberry festival going on.

Michelle Pena

The chicken is so delicious! a bit pricey but worth it. I ordered two chicken strip plates and we shared french fry's and Iced Teas with a small side salad came out to 50 bucks! But it was so good!

steven cassell

Great fried chicken, interesting sides. Prices are not too bad. I would say a must if visiting knotts berry farms and you are not local.

Alex M

This place is a classic, so I'm told. Bottom line its a theme park restaurant. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is very nice. If you are here with a group you can have a really good time. Its good for kids too. The food....you do get a lot of food for the price, but the quality is the issue. It is very bland and extremely basic. The chicken was juicy but lacked flavor. The sides were similar to what you get in a can. It's not "bad" but any fried chicken fast food chain will beat it hands down. If you are in the park all day and want a real meal go for it! The pie is great!!

Kevin Wendell

Fantastic chicken and very moist. The mashed potatoes and gravy were also the best.

Janice Takada

Very poorly organized front of house. Hostesses seemed confused and very inefficient. The dining room has way too many tables and food was served using plastic containers for butter and jelly. Dessert was served in whatever was available. M father's sherbet came in a disposable kids' cup. All this for $23.95 per person - a scoop of iceberg lettuce with dressing in a plastic cup, rhubarb (which was delicious), mashed potatoes that we're coagulated into a single lump with lukewarm gravy and overcooked cabbage. Rolls were undercooked, but the fried half chicken was perfect. Based upon the chicken and our server Don (he's easy to spot, he's the only one literally running and the only one smiling) I give 3 stars, otherwise it's a 2 at best

Cassi Ferree

For how expensive this place is I wanted to really love the food and not one person in my family did. The chicken noodle soup tasted so bad. The noodles just turned to mush. The mashed potatoes tasted like they came from a box. They say their bbq sauce is a special homemade recipe and it tasted just like bbq sauce from the store. We weren't impressed. I even commented to my husband that I wondered if they even taste the food they sell. The service was good but the waitress hung around waiting for me to use the chip reader so it was a little awkward deciding how much of a tip to give.

Eddie Perry

We normally have great service and the food is delicious. It took us over a hour to get food service. All our chicken meals were very bland. I don't know what happened.

Chloe Coleman

The food is high quality, and delectable. The chicken is tender, and has a nice crisp to it. The gravy with the mashed potatoes is “sexy” and the best flavor in the f’n world! What I love about the chicken dinner restraint is the fact how cheap it is! They should raise their prices up to thirty bucks a person. The food is that good! Atmosphere is nice, and you could look at old pictures on the wall. I also ordered a pet chicken.

Julie Mandel

Always good food and good service! I loved my Bird in the Nest breakfast (eggs that are put in a circular cut out in bread that is cooked on the grill) However, I would've liked it better had the cook sent the little toast disks out with my plate. The circle toast disks are the best way to scoop up your egg yolks!

Sidney Seyer

Serving is big. And food is good but it use to be better before. There was only 1 guy waiting every table. That guy deserves an award but he needs help to expedite things. Happy overall

Frank Devlon

RECOMMENDED! The menu was clean and organized. The staff were nice and helpful. The first thing that was served was hot fresh baked bread/biscuit with butter and their famous jam/boysenberry. The amount of salt/sodiom in/on the bread was surprisingly "ok" but could be less. The amuont of salt/sodium in all of our foods/chikens were also in accepted level. The chicken were very tender, juicy, fresh and perfectly prepared. The only complain I have is about the waiting time (several hours) and light in the restaurant. The environment was kind of dark make it difficult to see the food, tacking pictures. The restroom was clean. And the the faucets were adjustable (hot and cold). Perfect! Thank you. Here are some pictures I took.

Mary Messinger

BEST chicken dinner ever

steven kelley

Never, ever, ever, EVER go here. Food was bland. Price for amount of food you get was good. Service was horrific. Nothing came out together. Waited 15 minutes to get drinks from the time we were sat. Just all around a horrible experience. Bad bad bad.

Desiree Gurba

The whole meal was delicious and the excellent service I received completed my meal by my server Richard R. Thank you. I highly recommend Mrs.Knott's its a must try for the family.

Joseph Ybarra Sr.

Came here because family from out of town wanted to visit. I was not impressed with the chicken here. Chicken was very bland. The sides and desserts we're good but overall I was not impressed.

Becky Abrams

We made reservations the day before for our party of 14–half of the group was children. We were seated right next to the bar in a room with broken air conditioning. We requested to be moved multiple times but were told we would have to wait 45 minutes if we wanted to move. We had already waited 20 minutes—even though we had reservations. Not impressed with their consideration of their guests.

Michelle McIntyre

Ruben Mena

The food was delicious as usual. We came from Pflugerville, Texas to celebrate our 44th ANNIVERSARY .

Samantha Bielman

I don't know why people say the chicken is good. Perhaps once upon a time? Definitely not my time. I had the noodle soup. It was thick like gravy for some reasons. I counted 4 pieces of chicken and 6 pieces of noodles. The fried chicken tasted decent. I don't understand why the skin was not crunchy. The flavour was blend to my taste. The chicken breast was moist so I thought it was great. I mean...I was a wee bit disappointed for the reputation they carry. If it's an experience you are seeking, then do it. Enjoy the giant rooster in the front.

Sam Bartleman

What this place lacks in quality they make up for in quantity. Never been able to finish a meal here. The chicken dinner is around $20 but comes with salad, bread, pie, and soup. Easily a dinner for two. Not a great idea to try and finish it all and then ride coasters all day.

sharleen gonzalez

Love the chicken dinner. On weekends and busy tourist times this restaurant can get very busy, long wait times and long wait for food. We dined in one night and opted for the chicken to go the next evening. Enjoy!

Pablo Pena

We had just finished coming out of the park for a bit to eat. We got seated right away it was cool and comfortable. The food was great.

Daniel Mutnick

Mrs. Knotts has a line out the door. One might think it's because how great the food is. But I cant speak to that. Having made a reservation in advance (a must), my friends and I went hoping to be wowed. We were. Just not in a positive way. From the server putting his fingers in the food (soups, salads, butter tray, etc.) to the hair in the dinner entree, we left without eating. Management comped us, which was nice, but this place is nothing more than hype.

Gloria Abril

Food was great. But it was way dining area was way to cold. Our food became cold very fast. Also, when our server came to take our order, she abruptly left, not once, but three times. It was odd. Other than that it was ok.

Thomas Mortimer

The service is excellent and well done. The food is quickly served. Not much choice to be had, but it's relatively cheap. The sides were very well done, my partner loved her mashed potatoes. However, the main part of the meal, the chicken was bland and rubbery. It's a bit disappointing. Everything else was well done and then you have some chewy, uninspiring chicken, it puts a bit of a downer on things. I had the fried chicken and wanted a bit of spice in the coating, but there was nothing there. My partner had the lemon and herb chicken and it was just chewy. Funny thing is, we also ate in the park for lunch and the food there was extremely good. Another good point though, they give you lots of food and they know it, so they have lots of doggy bag container things to take food away. We've got our pies to eat and I hope they're better than our chicken!

Richard Bisso

Great service! The vast majority of the food was great, but I wasn't personally a fan of the fried chicken. Try everything Boysenberry! And I really liked the cherry rhubarb, as well. The coffee is actually pretty decent, which was surprising for a large restaurant like this. Now I wonder how I'm gonna get on these rides all gordo.

Greg Miller

The food was incredible and fulfilling. My 6 year old, who RARELY comments on restaurants, spoke glowingly on the great taste. Love the country atmosphere. 4 stars due to the under staffing and thus forgetting to enter my initial order, causing us a rather lengthy wait, but Ben made it up to me with a free drink and superb service from that point on. Will be returning again, this time with reservations, which are highly suggested.

Tim Michaels

Delicious fried chicken, but the real showstopper was the homemade boysenberry pie heated and topped with the best homemade vanilla ice cream I've ever had. Would recommend!

Foxman

Best chicken I have ever had. And best corn bread. Customer service on point

Erica Moreno

Good food! A little pricey but a good deal if you get one of there specials. The bakery is also right next door. We got chicken, potatoes, gravy, & corn. Also a boysenberry pie & a boysenberry tart from the bakery. The tart was better than the pie. They also have the to go chicken dinner right next door. If your not ready for the restaurant. Convienent & with the season pass you get a discount.

Sue Kobuki

Food was good, however, our chicken was burnt and we had to send a piece back which should have never been served. Service was lacking. We sat ignored for over 20 minutes after being served water do i asked to be seated in another area. When asked for more biscuits we were advised they are for sale next door.

Clete Reed

They have the best tasting chicken and great service, the boysenberry punch is great

Betty Hall

I have been going to this restaurant since I was little. They have the best fried chicken. The restaurant has been remodeled so the wait time is cut down. No matter how long the wait is, it is worth it. Prices have increased so budget accordingly.

Toby Trujillo

Chicken was good. The sides were good. The biscuits are delicious. I really enjoy the rhubarb soup I can't find it anywhere else really.

Kellie Edington

Great food but felt very rushed. You get soup salad dinner and sweets in your meal and my soup and my salad came out within 2 min of each other. Salad came out before non alcoholic drinks. When our meals arrived (within 5 min of first two dishes) everything was wrong. Drink refills were very sparce. Food was good but throwing everything at us at once when we did not order family style or the same things for that matter put me a bit off. I was not done with my meal and they were already shoving our pies and the check at us. It's like all they care about is the 45 min walk in wait at the door and not the customers in front of them.

Katherine Macalma

Fried chicken tasted like homemade. Nothing really special about it atleast for our family. Loved their chicken noodle soup though.

Debbie Hughes

Food really dropped in quality and service was terrible. Our server did not provide plates for our biscuits an we Had to ask. They had to look for them as the restaurant had a shortage. The Rhubarb was not cooked, our order was mixed up and our receipts were wrong. We had to remind the server to bring the deserts for those whose meals included it. We were celebrating an 89th birthday and we were only a party of 9. I gave 2 stars because it is Knott's Berry Farm. Not the greatest experience for any of us. It is not what it use to be.

William Foree

If you're up to eating at Knott's Chicken Dinner Restrauant go ahead and treat yourself to a wholesome meal. You'll definitely leave full as you can see from my pictures and I didn't even post the dessert. The chicken breast I had came out hot and crispy just the way chicken is suppose to be ate. The bread was amazing and everything else was good. Next Ken and Ben made the experience a good one with their service. If you decide to visit request them to host your table. The downside is parking which is $10 but if you have a receipt with a purchase of $25 or more than parking is free. The $25 maybe a incorrect total but it's close enough. So try out the restaurant because you definitely will leave full in the stomach! If you agree or like the post (like it) by pressing the

Michelle L

The berry salad was delicious! It has a long name. A lot of salad, layered. Bread and berry jam was excellent too. Waiter was great even though it was busy.

Javier Ortiz

I ate here because of a recommendation. I won't be eating here again any time soon. This restaurant is pricey and the food is unremarkable. KFC has Knott's beat on flavor for sure. The only upside here is the history ... the nostalgia. Otherwise your hard earned dollars are better spent elsewhere.

Nanette Jacoboni

Wait time as expected for a Friday night. After waiting 20 minutes to get the soup, salad and rolls (we had to ask busboy 2 times for) we walked out. The server did not even acknowledge your needs and did not come back to check on us. I asked for my food to go as we were done and had to get back to Disneyland. The entire night was ruined. Basically, the food is somewhat good but the service needs improvement. People who cannot keep up with pressure should not be serving food in a high traffic-tourist resturant.

Linda Abenoja

Lots of changes made to the Chicken restaurant the food is more delicious and servings are large. More spacious inside too. I came for breakfast on a weekday, but to my disappointment it is served only on weekends. Other wise also, the parking along the right side is gone and all parking is in lots. Recommend to park in Market parking lot, if you are going to just eat. First hour is free. Enjoy your day at Knotts.

Guadalupe Anguiano

Felt bad about our waiter, asked for ketchup, water, hot sauce, coffee and every time Christopher had to go to the back kitchen. Still gave a service with a smile. Asked for a box for take home and again had to return all the way back if the kitchen. Some how they must keep all items handy close to the service area which happened to have been the bar. Plenty of space to keep all items. FYI.. Now for the food, it was GREAT, thank you!

James Sharp

Went to the chicken house for breakfast. Place was only a quarter full but was told there was a 20 min wait. Food server was nice but forgetful. Her helper was any better. Food was good. Kinda funny. There is a large picture/photo of Knott's years and years ago. The line was a block long at four people wide. That's when they used to be a good place to go to.

Karen Moody

Oh my goodness!!!! This chicken dinner is better than my grandma's. And that's saying a LOT. The biscuits and boysenberry preserves before the meal are out of this world! It was hard not to fill up on them. And they give you a full meal complete with salad/soup, beverage and dessert. So good!! And the service is out of this world!! We had the best server!!! This is a restaurant that you'll talk about for a very long time and go back again and again!!!

Zeus Gutierrez

Nice clean restaurant. The chicken was delicious so was the cherry rhubarb. Our waitress was really attentive and gave us complimentary ice cream for my baby.

Stan Greer

The chicken dinner restaurant had changed a lot since I was a kid. Chicken is still the best fried c ever and biscuits are great. However, not much else is the same. Everything seems thinner as the price climbs. Not sure if ownership changed quality. If I was blindfolded I couldn’t have identified the boysenberry pie. That distinct flavor is gone. Sorry but I would rather do breakfast there now. Always love the fresh biscuits.

Sommer Garcia

Why is the boysenberry jam SO ADDICTIVE!! SERIOUSLY, this place was surprisingly REALLY good and really affordable. The portions are HUGE so I would definitely recommend sharing, unless you eat a lot. It was a great price for all the food we got. The chicken dumplings are the best I've ever had. And the jam was soooo yummy

Coree Kelly

The food quality has really gone down. I used to look forward to eating at Mrs Knotts more than going to the amusement park. Pot pies were over cooked, nothing was seasoned, corn was frozen. The bright spot was the service. Service was great and food came out quickly.

Guss Maa

This place is well known for their delicious chicken. Our waitresse. Christian B was great

I wish I could have talked to a manager, My husband and myself came in here to have lunch and we sat at the bar we literally waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for our food the bartender ignored us and when a customer that came in claiming she knew the owner she received her food 10 minutes after she arrived. They paid full attention to her and they don't ignored us, worst service for the price of the meal and the food was not good.

Been wanting to try the chicken for along time. Good fried chicken and they were well worth the price. But it was so much food. Service could be a little more friendly

Michael Ross

Good quality, flavorful food, not extravagantly priced. The amount of food put on your plate and the side dishes will combine for you to ask for boxes!!! Will be pleased to come again.

Ellen Henley

That's the best fried chicken I've had in years! That and the boysenberry pie make this a meal worth driving to Buena Park for. It's homestyle cooking and the atmosphere is appropriately clean and simple. Great service. Good time.

Best Fried Chicken Dinner Ever!!! This is too much for one person. I recommend sharing and ordering an extra soup, salad, or piece of chicken. Bring your own cup and take away some Boysenberry Punch since they don't have to go cups. We waited 20 minutes on a very busy night which I consider fast. The restaurant is very large with tables everywhere so the only limitation is the number of staff on the floor. If you haven't been to the restaurant in years then you'll be surprised at how great the remodel looks including a spacious bar. I recommend the Boysenberry Beer! It's different and only available at Knott's. The restaurant is outside the Park so you don't need admission and parking is easy. There is a surface parking lot under the Ghost Rider Roller Coaster and the restaurant will validate. Great family restaurant or a unique date place. Beware the restaurant is a little noisy due to the wood floors and open spaces but you can still carry on a conversation.

The wait time was too long. The food was excellent but the time to get the food was too long. I will definitely go back soon for their friend chicken. Recommend to all.

Its Mrs. Knott's chicken need I say more perfectly seasoned really juicy melt in your mouth chicken when I die I want a drumstick in my hand to take with me to the afterlife

25 bucks a plate. Not the next chicken but good enough. Definitely worth the money tho. Full course meal with dessert. Service was great

I love the restaurant. The biscuits are delicious and so is the chicken soup. The staff are very friendly and very attentive. The chicken and pot pie were the least favorite items but that did not take away from our experience. We will definitely be visiting again.

Not up to snuff today, I haven't been here in years... I can tell you it was great, today not so much... Server I think was a little overwhelmed and the chicken was dry... The Biscuits were really good but all the rest really fell short... I have read the other reviews and I wish I had those 4 and 5 star experience...

Mrs Knott's Chicken Dinner use to be one of the best places to take relatives from other areas to eat when I was growing up. I recently took my mother in law and sister in law for their birthdays. They remodeled the restaurant from the Las time I ate there. First the hostess sat us in an area where there wasn't a waiter/waitress. After waiting for sometime I got up to look for a waiter. Paul the manager was walking by. I asked him if we had a server. He told me he would check. He came back apologized and said that they made an error and sat us in the wrong place. He was very nice and said he would take our order. He brought us our drinks and took our order.the biscuits, butter and boysenberry preserves were the best. My sister in law and her grandson's Sprite was all carbonated water. Paul quickly took care of their drinks. He told us we didn't have to pay for our beverages. He brought our salads, and then our chicken dinners. The chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy didn't have enough seasoning very bland not the same. Paul brought us the Apple pie and boysenberry pie on the house. We ordered the lunch and pie was not included. The pies were delicious as always. They didn't mess with the pies or biscuits, but the chicken dinner was disappointing. I guess that explains why we got in right away and there is no longer a line to get in. Mrs. Knott's would not be happy with what they have done to her delicious Chicken dinner. Paul was great and gave us great service, but he couldn't make up for the tasteless food. I would not return. I only gave 3 stars because of Paul's great service.

Been here for dinner long time ago, was good, came for lunch and lots of changes since last being here, missed the jam variety option with the biscuits... got the chicken lunch meal

Tiffany Grindstaff

GREAT service and delicious fried chicken... ok all the food was great!

Amazing food for a theme park. Great service. Love the biscuits. The cherry rhubarb soup was not great. Of course the fried chicken was great. There was a wait for seating and food but that's expected. They offer veggies instead of mashed potatoes for the low carb ppl.

Fried chicken is moist and flavorful. Biscuits are delicious. A little pricey for chicken but I over all loved it. If the plates were less expensive, I would eat here all the time.

My tip would be to make a reservation on Open Table, the night before I noticed that all of their Open Table reservations were booked so I definitely made sure to make a reservation. After a long day at the park we didn't want to wait for our reservation and took a chance going in early where they were able to accommodate us with only a short wait. [FOOD] Definitely a fan of the POT PIE and CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP!! While my wife liked the fried chicken I found it a little bit bland for my tastes and wished that it had a little bit more seasoning. Price wise it is little bit on the expensive side. [SERVICE] Our waitress was very nice and helpful. She was able to answer all of our questions regarding the menu. [HANDICAP] Definitely handicap accessible in the dining room (was able to fit my scooter in the room) with no problems.

The main plate of food needed more salt, but was well cooked. The boysenberry jam and the chicken noodle soup were amazing. I wish I could just order a big bowl of that soup.

Service amazing. Food amazing. Price amazing. Try the scampi!

This place was awesome!! The service was great and the food portions and price was on the mark. They also give you a 2hr parking validation on top of your first free hour.

Jerry Fontaine

Always great food here! And plenty of it! You get your entree, soup, salad, biscuits, vegetable, AND dessert! That's a LOT of food! Enjoy!

I had not been to Mrs. Knott's for many years. The restaurant has been remodeled and a bar added. My waitress was Nichole and she did a great job! I had the traditional fried chicken dinner meal and it was (still) phenomenal! One star off for the cost. Fried chicken and two beers shouldn't cost $50.... But otherwise, very good experience.

Well worth the wait, price and service was the icing on the pie!(no cake, they have pie). We recently went to the other park with the mouse and were very disappointed with their food quality. However Knott's just made up for it just in this restaurant alone. The Famous Fried Chicken is more than that it should be World Famous! Incredibly crispy on the outside and very moist on the inside. It was an Amazing experience not only the food but the service too. Ms. Heidi was on point with her suggestions & timing. She was attentive, funny and very engaging with us. We felt like family. Come for the food and enjoy the conversation too. Thanks Heidi!

Nothing fantastic to write home about. Fair food and service but pricey being in an amusement park.

Adriana Flores

The host and my server provided the best customer service! They both were very friendly. Also, the chicken dinner and the boysenberry pie was delicious at a affordable price. Definitely, coming back to Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Restaurant.

This place is designed beautiful and comfortable. Great family atmosphere. Great staff and service. The food is delicious. Definitely homestyle cooking. Just like Grandma used to make. Highly recommend.

This is my first time here and I am here with my parents who grew up going to Knotts Berry Farm. They raved on about this place so we decided to make a reservation. I got the fried chicken lunch meal. It was very bland and had little flavor to it. The chicken noodle soup was good, so was the corn. The biscuits have a odd flavor to them that's makes them unenjoyable. And finally the prices are very high for what you get. Sodas are almost $5! Overall, will not be going again. Maybe they just had a bad day, but it wasn't worth it for me.
