My girlfriend and I were passing through and stumble upon Chin Chin!! Such great food and amazing service! Elaine helped us out. She was super friendly and attentive. She made us feel right at home! We will def be going back next time we're in town. Thanks Elaine and Chin Chin for a great dinner experience.

Pretty good place. There aren't too many chinese restaurants on San Vicente in the nearby area, so its a good place to get your chinese-american food.

As a Native New Yorker, I was fed delicious Chinese food at Tung Hoy nearly every week after Sunday School . During my 45 years in California, I never found a restaurant that could compare to my childhood favorite. A recent dinner at Chin Chin in Las Angeles changed that. Yummy! Try it. you’ll like it

We sat for 25 minutes and the waiter never showed. Finally my wife got someone to come take our order, and a manager even apologized and offered us one course for free. 20 minutes passed and no food. A total of 49 minutes was wasted there. As we left, another waiter said “Thanks for coming. Enjoy the rest of your day”. Ah, Irony! We had burgers down below and were quite happy, but I just have to warn other people — the service here is the worst I have seen in a long while.

What Chinese restaurant changes for rice oh yeah this one. Also took 2 hours for delivery was quoted 45 minutes. Food was cold...... and had no flavor...... Would not allow me to return food for refund.....

Food is amazing!!! Sheila is on the floor and always greets us with a huge smile and takes such good care of us. Huge portions and great service with a unique taste. They also have a 7 day a week military/veteran discount. USA!!!

Very disgusting manager terrible. Had me standing there for approximately 12 minutes and I still had to let her know that I was waiting to be seated. And the most funny part about it, it was empty but she was attending to a white couple and she's black, I'm Mexican. I think shes racist or just money hungry

I have been coming to this restaurant for 35 years and the quality of the food has remained largely the same with more and more dishes added to the menu.... mostly very tasty. The people are really nice, respectful and eager to please. However, the prices are rather high.

Also tried their whole fish chengdu style, little spicy, with a whole bunch of stuff covering the tilapia, which was about 2lbs, came out to $33.35 -- I think I prefer regular steamed ginger & green onion steamed fish. Last was eggplant for $12 -- pricey... all dishes were interesting, authentic and flavorful, with great service, just more on the expensive side, but a special treat for Father's day

I'm not big on asian cuisine, but I ended up eating here a lot due to convenience. Luckily, their food is high quality, so I could tolerate it. Really good fried rice options. Chinese chicken salad is really good and they have good soup as well. Really high prices that don't equate to the portions.

The take out wait is way too long. I have a problem with server's eating on the floor. I went there on Nov 29th to get a take out order and as 1 of the servers was packing an order she took a couple of crunchy wontons out of an order, ate some and closed the lid and put it in a customers to go bag. Ugh

It's not what it used to be. The people there are nice and competent, but it takes a long time to get your food after you order it. The food is still good, but expensive for what you get. It seems that they prioritize their take out over the customers in the restaurant. I only go now once every other month or so when I used to go once a week. It's unfortunate.

Amazing! Super fun and lots of options for all diets. They have a gluten free menu and vegetarian options(probably some vegan ones too but I didn't check) the staff is great! The man who Served us had only been there a week and he was kinda and very helpful. The vegetable chow mein and the wonton stars were great and I highly recommend them. The flowerless chocolate hazelnut dome thing was awesome too- please try it if you stop by! 10/10 would eat again

I only write a review after very rare, exceptionally positive experiences. The manager at Chin Chin Brentwood, Sheila, sets the top notch example for her job. I have been going to this location for decades and Sheila helped me with my only issue, ever. She owned and took full responsibility for the issue. She made me feel as though I was her favorite customer; and all of the other employees seem to have the same attitude. I felt as though she needed an issue to take care of because she is such a loving, caring person who needs to make people feel the same. She takes her job very seriously and it shows, not only in her personal interactions with the customers, but it sets a tone at the top as an example for all of the employees. Sheila is the best restaurant manager I have ever encountered in over 40 years of dining out.

My wife and AI had a very lovely dinner. Service was attentive and included a visit to the table from the manager. We had a show to see at UCLA and asked the waiter to make sure we were out at a specified time. We actually made it to the show early. We shall return.

A classic hole-in-the-wall spot for Chinese food! Make sure to order the pork roll appetizer, it is their specialty, I haven't had anything quite like it anywhere else in China town.

Bad customer service. The girl who was at the register on Monday evening Dec 10th 2018 was very unprofessional. I came to pick up to go order. That girl was counting money on register. She didn't greet customer instead kept doing what she was doing. Then, another girl came in, they both just talking to each other. Still she didn't say anything to me. I finally said to them, if there was anyone there that could help with to go order. Then, She asked for the name I was picking up for. The order was already there, ready to be picked up.

Love this place. I've been eating here since 1986. Their Chinese Chicken Salad is my favorite salad in the world. Incredible. Wish they would bring back the chocolate macadamia nut pie though.
