This place has a good food to offer. Loved this spot! We had a great dinner and they found us a spot to sit even though we didn't make a reservation! Such a cool atmosphere and we loved our waiter he was so nice and friendly. I will definitely return this place again.

Oscar Rios

Great food selection and super tasty... cooked to perfection a little hard to park but you can valet which is always a good option. The ribs are a must try. Also the pork sandwich is deliciously done. Good selection of beer and service is great. I will go back... I gotta try more items Enjoy!

Joseph Castonguay

Very good barbecue. Was surprised that it was as good as it is being in California. Southerners will feel at home.

Rick Schwartz

One of the better BBQ places in L.A. Try the beef brisket and avoid the pulled pork. It was very watery. Pork rinds are a great value at $3. The hoe cake is also good.

Jodie Francisco

They ran out of ribs and BBQ chicken at 7pm Very disappointing.

Andres Zapata

Great Ribs and awesome bourbon selections.

Matt P.

Some items very good some not. Service good.

Adenipekun kunle

Service was good. Parking was a headache. The food was good except their "the best damn chicken sandwich I ever had" is not even in my top 3. I kind of had high hopes. The beef was good, mac and cheese and cocktails are awesome.

Dominic Cohen

bbq at this location - delicious. honestly my favorite evening place. i had a brother come into town and he asked me to go back here.

Annabella Baluyut

Best bbq ribs and I love the Frito pie!

Margarita Oganesyan

The food is so good! I tried three meats today, chicken, tri tip and baby back ribs. Cleaned my plate clean! Also had a side of beans and collards. Both amazing. The cornbread was to die for, considering f I do not even like cornbread. Basically, everything I've had here has been above my expectations

R C Bowman

Good was really good, friendly staff. Later selection of Whiskeys. They even had "Uncle Nearest" My first visit, I'll be back !!

Dawn Martin

On the menu their chicken sandwich is named something like "The Best Chicken Sandwich Ever." It actually may be. I mean, that's a huge thing to live up to and we both loved it. It's crunchy and salty and tangy and delicious. It comes with Pimento Cheese which was too cold and thus I thought took away from my experience but my significant other thought it made the sandwich. He got the bbq brisket and jalapeno cheese sausage. My bite of brisket was delicious but he said all of his were a little too dry. Unfortunately, it seems like he gave me the best part of it. So my experience of that was fantastic. The flavor of the sausage was very good but unfortunately it was cold. Which was strange because the cheese was melted. The inside is fun, we got to sit at the bar facing the kitchen which has not one but TWO wood burning ovens/stoves. If quality control were a bit better I'd give them 5 stars but the food and staff were so excellent that we'd certainly go back.

Ryan O'Donnell

Fantastic bbq and one of the best slices of pie I’ve had - the cocktails are a skip though. Stick to beer.

Christina JX Wang

All meats are just amazing. The cake is out of the world!!!!!!

Jeff Lander

Had a nice time. Busy Sunday night were seated right away at the bar. Nice view of the show. Brisket was very tender and full of flavor. Very nice. Cuts were strangely uneven. Had a couple of huge steak like slabs and a few very thin in 1/2#. Was nice for the change of texture but a bit weird and harder to split without someone feeling cheated. Sausage was disappointing. Good smoke and snap but so evenly ground and uniform in flavor was a bit mealy. Coleslaw was great but wasn't much for $4. Good beer selection and excellent Bourbon and Rye list. Overall, the quality of the brisket made up for a bit pricey and otherwise 3 star experience.

Lin Zhi Chen

It was quiet the experience and lived up to the name. Around 25-30$ per person should be more than enough. The ribs can be a little dry but still good.

Matthew Bischoff

Great food and drink. Pitside seating is really fun and the cooks are all very personable (not to mention talented). Tab can sneak up on you quick.

Ed F.

Excellent barbecue and great service.

Mike Doolan

"Delicious red meat right off the bone!" Gimli. All seriousness very cool place great food and staff. Traveled from Bakersfield to eat here and wasn't disappointed.

Danilo Noguera

Deliciously smoked ribs, lightly glazed with a lip tingling barbecue sauce. The hoe cake was moist and buttery. Service was good and the atmosphere was unique, definitely worth the wait if you're in the area.

Krista Garrett

So good! Loved their family style eating arrangement, great veggie sides and of course the BBQ itself was the main event. Ho cake is amazing! The bar was great. Kind of pricey but I'd definitely eat here again next time I am in LA

dimitris mylonas

Really nice place with amazing food. The baby pork ribs and the brisket is perfect. The cocktails are also very good

Jesse Randle

Great BBQ and cocktails. They have an impressive section of whiskey too!

Cesar Villanueva

The food was very delicious! The hoe cake was really really good! Wonderful ambiance inside and services was great and drinks were good, cheers! The 3% healthy LA "donation" was something I don't agree with but whatever...

Roberto Gstoettner

we have a lot of fun

Aris Gregorian

We had take out - ribs, greens, beans and Hoe cake !!!! Dang that was some great grub and our guests loved it !!!! Aboslutely going back ...

Amir Farrahi

Good food, limited beer selection.

Jesse Head

Absolutely delicious - Jordan went out his way to make delicious pastrami sandwich and fries. They a picture speaks a 1000 words, so just feast your eyes on that sandwich :) glistening juicy fatty salty pastrami, crunchy toast, pickles and dressing-- yum! Abraham the chef should be proud to have that masterpiece on the menu. So glad I made it in for lunch.

Derrick B

Had the fried chicken sandwich. Best coleslaw I've had in a while. It really complimented the sandwich well.

James Darren Howery

Awesome BBQ, 'nough said.

Tiffany Marshall

The brisket was absolutely wonderful. Relaxing and comfortable environment. Their bar selections are fabulous. So happy I brought the whole family for Memorial Day.

Patrick C

A great place for bbq, been eating here since it opened. The food and beer selections are guaranteed to satisfy. I live within walking distance so always manage to avoid the crowds. Parking is an issue as valet is kinda mandatory.

Charles Eden

Damn good bbq, but not cheap

Drew Graves

Atmosphere is standard. Ribs were just fine. But the cocktails really set Barrel and Ashes apart from your standard BBQ joint. Thoughtful, well-crafted cocktail menu.

Rita M. Carreon

Great drinks, good BBQ. Pulled pork is good but vinegar based... brisket is better. Sides are wonderful and service is excellent.

Camerin Virgilio

Very tasty just no parking

Hayden

Food was ok, would have been better if the tri tip and ribs were served warm rather than room temp. Service sucked, cornbread is this place's saving grace. Saw it on "Worth It" and tried it, best cornbread I've ever eaten. Probably won't see me back here because service and other food was that bad. They have a good thing going for them... I mean the cornbread has a good thing going for them...

Ho Seok Cho

Best Ribs I've ever had. Brisket was also great.

Rodolfo Sierra

Most BBQ places in LA now are pretty tasty; however, the difference with this place is that it is not only delicious but offers generous portions. A bottomless pit like myself appreciates restaurants like these. A must for guys that like to pig out on BBQ.

Fred Crew

Definitely give them a try, great service and great food.

Darla Eden

Good BBQ and amazing sides. Try the Frito pie and fried pickles...

Mike Streetz

Carolina style BBQ so less heavy on the sauce. Make a reservation if you have more than a couple of people as it packs out. Great portion sizes. Try the Hoe Cake!

Linda Thieben

Wonderful bbq. Portions are shareable. Sides looked great but was to fill to try them. Went at 4 p.m. to avoid the crowds

Steven Lockwood

I love their food, the crispy chicken sandwich is absolutely sensational!

Daniel Reid

Great service the ladies working here were easy to talk to and brought out some great food in a timely manner...

Funky

Okay so, the brisket was cold. Upon bringing it to their attention they warmed it up and when it came back it was barely room temperature so I mentioned it again and when they brought it back the third time it was barely over room temperature. Another Patron heard my concern and was kind enough to reach out to me and let me know that yes indeed his was cold as well. This is my first bad review. Unfortunately it really messed up my experience and I probably won't be coming back. Which is saying a lot because I'm not very picky in my opinion. I hope this review is helpful. I've looked through the other reviews and apparently cold delivery of brisket is a recurring theme Here.

B R

Great food; we'll definitely come back

Wendy Hewett

Over half of the brisket turned out to be fat, and was under seasoned. The price was way too high for unflavored fat.

Joan Vieweger

Barrel and Ashes is a great restaurant experience, but today's review is all about the Pork Rinds! I ordered these for a Valentine's Gift and had them delivered by UberEats. Big hit! These pork rinds are the best... big, light, CRUNCHY and addictive! Commercial store-bought packaged rinds don't come close to these. And, they keep well if stored in an airtight container.

Joe Rose

Food was tasty, but quite expensive and the parking situation is kind of difficult. 1$/hr with 2 hour max on street and 7$ for valet. Brisket was excellent. Ribs had good taste but were not very tender. Kale salad was quite good. Probably would of been a 4 if I was able to get some of their craft beer.

Phillip Kinnison

Loved this spot! We had a great dinner and they found us a spot to sit even though we didn't make a reservation! Such a cool atmosphere and we loved our waiter! I will definitely return if I'm in the neighborhood!

Don Barone

How was Barrel snd Ashes? I dont know, ive never been there, but google asked me. But ill bet it's at least a 4.

Chhaya Taylor

This is by the worst place for BBQ! Our server was awful from the start. Once the server took the appetizer order, we were waiting for a very very long time for our food to arrive. There was a party of 6 that came in after us had their apps n the couple behind us had their food before us, even though we arrived n were seated before any of the parties. They served all the white ppl before they served the only black couple. The cooks were very lazy, none of them cooked any food until we asked our server what happened to our apps, it seemed the server n the cooks really didn't care if we ate there or not. The Pit Plate was the most disgusting food. It was served in a baby skillet, with the three choices of meats, which were brisket (3) slices, Louisiana hot link (1/4), baby back ribs (3), small muffin (1), slices of pickle n some baked beans. All the food that was served, lacks taste, seasoning and presentation! There was no WOW factor! Travis came over took our orders. He didn't upsell the menu at all, I know it's BBQ, but good servers know how to upsell, cuz it's a better Tip for them. We ordered Pork rinds (these were pretty decent), fried pickles (drain out the old oil instead of over seasoning to cover up that stank taste), and their Collared Greens (Ooo Lord, have mercy, they put Vinegar in them Greens) and let me tell y'all on a scale of how bad those collard greens were, they were a 1, when we were driving home, we kept smelling a stinky fart, first I thought it was outside, the fart smell kept following us, then we figured it was the collard greens cooked in vinegar. We drove to a neighborhood store, I got a bottle of Ginger ale to drink to make sure I didn't have an upset stomach in the night. My partner and I had a bad experience all the way around tonight. We've visited many BBQ joints in Southern California, like Lucille's, Dickey's, Gus's BBQ. This has been crossed off the list to never return ever again. Y'all can keep your Kansas BBQ on the back burner. If y'all want great BBQ, visit Irving Texas, go to Hard 8 BBQ ... Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm lickin good !! Order the burnt ends for the brisket, St. Louis BBQ ribs, brings back great memories.

Dorthy Felton

Great stop off Hwy 1! Pulled pork and ribs were awesome but the Mac n cheese and BBQ sauce steal the show! Yum!

Emma Quintero

good and friendly service. food was great.

Rommel DG

Awesome experience and servers are efficient. Food was great but don't expect large portions. Best to order a la carte to share. Indulge into libations. What a fun place!

Chris M

Good bbq usually doesn't come sauced. Seems like they where trying to hide something

Bradley Letain

The food is fantastic. The brisket is so moist and flavourful. The collard greens were fantastic. Our server Jordan was very friendly and attentive. Thanks for the great dinner.

Bryan Rodriguez

The decor at this location is very nice. Customer service is on point. Great place for cheap quality drinks and a good late night dinner.

Markie Brier

This is not bad place. A little small to bring a group of friends for drinks and food. Great for 2 or 3 people. Food ok not amazing. The staff is super friendly.

John Larson

BBQ and service at this spot is great. great spot for an appetite of any size.

Chris Underwood

Decent for L.A., but if you're from an actual BBQ-centric area, you'll not likely be overly impressed. I wish I could give 3.5 stars. I waffled back and forth between 3 and 4 for a while - their drinks are quite good and well priced.

Todd Morgan

Make reservations! Great down home food. Fairly quick service even on Saturday night when the place was full. Nice server. Sit outside on a date if you want to be able to talk, if you can. Very noisy inside

Amanda Winston

Really well executed & consistent "comfort food." Classy, yet casual, fun ambiance that is best for friends and families. Great brunch spot. Wishing they still served a sweet hoecake!! #bringitBACK and a star off repeatedly having to request drink refills.

scuba Steve's Church of doing stuff

Just stopped in for a quick drink but it was a very cool place.

Rebecca Balnis

Be sure to come early as this place gets packed and they sell out of that infamous chicken sandwich. The hoe cake was crunchy and sweet but unfortunately not fried in bacon fat. The bar menu featured local craft beers and the pours of whistle pig rye were generous and affordable.

Lance W

Wings are phenomenal as is the habanero bbq sauce. :-)

Ted Rant

Great food, a real unique spot... the bbq is delicious.

Robert Jackson

Great, Fantastic bar tender, nice atmosphere, mediocre fare.

Ariel Bautista

I've been looking for a place like this in Los Angeles for a very long time. I've had really good BBQ from places like Bludso's, Lucille's and Horse Thief and even though they have delicious food in their own right, I personally rate a BBQ joint on how good their brisket is. I compare brisket to Texas BBQ like Franklin's or the Salt Lick where you have that crusted char, pink smoke rings and butter-like consistency. Honestly, Barrel and Ashes is the closest to having Texas-style BBQ without going to Texas. Even if you're not into brisket like I am, every piece of meat I've had from Barrel and Ashes was delicious, even the Mary's BBQ chicken had a great crust and was ridiculously juicy. Also, dont get me started on the fall-off-the-bone ribs. I enjoyed the interior of the restaurant as well as all the different kinds of Bourbon they had available. Started with ordering the dry-rubbed wings and Stetson Lime Rickey for happy hour. For the main entree I ordered 3 different meats which came with collard greens and baked beans as well as mac n cheese. I tried everything and loved everything, and would like to try the rest.

Lynda Rodriguez

Stopped by here omw home. The mac & cheese is a must!

Ayden Bourgeois

This place is a very nice place to hang out with family and friends! Very good wings!

John D Crews

You may have a heart attack after eating here. You'll definitely need a nap after eating here. And it will all be worth it. Great KC bbq.

Phillip Brown

Very good food with great service, it's my first time there, but I think I'll come back soon.

Mark DelRosario

Fairly good food, not very good prices. $7 for a plate of fries? Plus, this is yet another business that charges customers for its employees' health insurance.

Austin Sorenson

Really good whiskey and barbecue. The Johnny cake was awesome. We had the lamb special as well which is the picture.

Hayley Welsh

Best eggs Benedict I've ever had. The place is a little small for the crowd it has and having a paid valet for such a small place seems rediculous. The valet literally moved our car an inch from where we pulled up. It still cost alot for just that and the valet actually asked for a tip for that. As for the restaurant itself the foods great and the service was friendly. Just wish they would have filled up our drinks more. It was bottomless mimosas. I was only asked if I wanted a refill twice then never even looked at again.

Elizabeth Garcia Carrillo

I came here to find tender, juicy, flavorful brisket and ribs.... to my disappointment this place fell very short of my expectations. I love Bobby Qs in AZ and I love BBQ in Nashville so if you’re used to tender falling off the bone BBQ I suggest you avoid this place all together. I doubt they cook the meat for long periods of time as it was pretty tough and the BBQ sauces were not memorable. I didn’t enjoy the sides either- they were just OK. Needless to say, I will not be back for seconds.

Eric Warner

From the UK. Food and atmosphere great would def recommend.

Joshua Caleb Collins

This is one of our special LA spots that we try to visit every trip. We time it well to miss the lunch rush and have enjoyed the service and food each time.

mariam jasemi

The food is super salty and the meat was served to us cold. Service was definitely not noteworthy. We wont be returning.

Carlisa Hamagaki

Delicious bbq, quality A+

Mike Ahmadi

Awesome bbq. As good as anything in Texas.

Dave

Meat quality has taken a nose dive. I ordered a pound of brisket, rib tips, and wings. The wings were OK, the rib tips were super tough and the brisket was overcooked, dry, and just not up to the quality they used to produce. The mac n' cheese and Brussel sprouts were good but that's not what you go to a BBQ place for. I haven't seen the owner/chef Rory there in a while but the kitchen needs a change. It will be a while before I come back, it's too expensive here to not get good food.

Anthony Juda

Great, well rounded menu. Had the Spare Ribs and they were fantastic! Some of the best barbeque I've ever had. We got had a reservation and were seated immediately at a bar that looked right into the kitchen. Very fun to see them work! Beer, wine, and spirit selection was strong and the staff was knowledge. We will definitely be coming back.

Usher L. Barnum, Jr.

The food was good, but a bit pricey for barbecue.

Margaux Guillemot

We went to the restaurant and we are super disappointed ! We are tourists and the waitress knows that. At the end of the bill, it was written « 20% gratuity » with an amount of 18$. I asked the waitress what it was, because we know that the tips is not mandatory. He told us that it was the tips in this restaurant. The table behind left, they were locals people, and I had a look on their bill and I saw that they didn’t have this line of « 20% gratuity ». He just add some tips, and taxes because we were tourists !

Rebekah Redmond

It was good. Best described as hipster BBQ. Brisket & mac n cheese was yummy. The onion rings were ok, they had a kick and were really smoky, not what I was hoping for. The BBQ sauce was AMAZING. Service was great. Overall worth a visit.

R Cooper

Pretty good food. A bit pricey but very good selections. Terrific service. Nice setting.

Robert Nielsen

Excellent BBQ, excellent bourbon, great service. The interior is small, but that's basically made irrelevant by what really matters, the food and drinks.

Arturo Capote

Great food and excellent atmosphere. I will return again.

SHARON LOPEZ

This place was amazing! Great food and service by Clay was outstanding! Got us out of there soon since we had to catch a concert #worthit

Mark Nielsen

As a BBQ aficionado, I can definitely say that this is some of the better legit BBQ in L.A. Not "city boy" BBQ as with some chain places that aim to be BBQ, but legit, and with some flair too! Hoecake and Frito Pie are cool and good. Sausage and brisket are really good. Baby backs are solid. Good sides too. Fun place to go with a group.

Mike Briock

Great place. Too small for its popularity. Great staff. Great food.

Stephen Adams

Pricey for what it is, but the food is delicious. The same plate of food in Texas would cost about $15.00, but like I said the food is delicious. Probably some of the best collard greens I've ever had as well. If it didn't cost a days pay for 2 people to eat there I would have given it 5 stars!

Roman Rabinovich

Great BBQ place in Studio City. I come here every other month for brunch. All dishes I tried here are great. Service is reliably good. Decent price to value ratio too.

Juan Resendiz

Best damn chicken sandwich I've ever had....

Hrach Hambartsumyan

It was difficult to rate this place for me. I want to give it a 5 stars but the food wasn't amazing nor we're sauces. But nothing was horrible. The best thing here is their famous ho cake. Make sure to get it. It's a sweet salty buttery corn bread.

Ralph Sanders

Food and drinks...awesome

T Car

I had the buffalo chicken sandwich, it was good as expected but I have also tasted the rib tips, brisket and mac and cheese. The rib tips were smoky and saucy with a great flavor, the mac and cheese was good. Unfortunately the brisket was a dry, while I sampled it off a family members plate I found it to be disappointing. The staff was great and hard working.

Ari D

I was excited to try Barrel & Ashes with Dine LA We have found many awesome restaurants this way. The place is very cool & has a great vibe, I was excited the see the IPA's they had as well. Starter was fried pickles pretty good. Fries we ordered was amazing $8 but worth it. by now you are thinking why is this 2 stars. When we got the pork ribs it looked great , I even took the picture I posted . when I cut the rib I noticed the inside part was cold & top was very hot. I also don't mean Luke Warm just cold like fridge. We told the waiter & he took it back, when we got it again I asked how do you guys prepare the ribs. I was really blown away how the outside can be hot & the inside so cold. I was given a side of attitude & told " Well they checked this one made sure it was hot. so it is how now" & to let him know if there is a problem. ( they reheated the same one) Well the meat didn't taste good some sides was hard like rubber other so fatty that once you took a bite you took it out. At this point if you are the waiter, wouldn't you come back, check on a customer, ask how is it now that didn't happen. The way the meat was smoked you can tell it was good but the meat was just bad. Not sure if it had to do with how it was reheated from fridge & heated up twice. It was late so maybe everyone just wanted to go home otherwise I wish they would have made a whole new one. At this point The waiter is pretty much not coming to the table. My water is empty for a while, I waited and waited. I got up to get water & ask the chefs how could have this been & I have to say both guys were awesome. One explained that the rib came out of the fridge & was not heated correctly, the other said He did it wrong. Loved how they explained instead of saying it is hot now like the waiter. when they asked how it tasted I told them not good. Looking at the plate you can clearly see all the meat that was just not able to be eaten or taken out. Chefs were nice enough to offer us some ribs to go etc, It is not about getting something for free for me so I didn't want it, but that offer was nice enough & I would come back to the restaurant because of the 2 chefs. We got the check . It was just put down on the table & the waiter walked away , Really no thank you, sorry the food has issues again more attitude. Going out to eat is an experience. Service Food Atmosphere If one of these is not good, it is like trying to drive a car with a flat tire. Service here got big minus from the waiter. Food 2 things we got was good & Rib I think we got was bad but would love to try them again Atmosphere was awesome.

ashutosh shrestha

The best ribs ever!!!!!

Bunny Hart

great food... they have amazing fried pickles!!! and they offer really expensive, hard to find liquors

Tseohnni Ross

Our waitress was excellent!! We kind of came in late, they were out of a lot but I had the spare ribs which the waitress convinced me into getting and she was right ! There were great! I loved the cornbread!! Mac and cheese was great! Great fries and we had some kind of dry rub wings which were unique and really tasty !! I would absolutely recommend this place— but it is not a traditional Texas Barbecue— my husband was very critical he is from Houston Tx but I’m from NYC and it was great for me

Ryan Thompson

Delicious brisket! Nice staff too.

Sayonara Punk

Great Beer and BBQ

Michael Carroll

Great BBQ, drinks are the best!

Critic clickbait

Was really good, I had the baby back ribs. They were the best part. Everything else still was really good. Awesome customer service, they bring out the fritos pie on the house. Our server was very friendly and was knowledgeable. Would come back again, many times actually lol. Overall the best BBQ in LA for sure.

Tanya Armstrong

Loved the atmosphere and the smoked smell. Some of the Rib Tips was tough according to my husband; I found them to be flavorful. I loved the "Damn Best Chicken Sandwich", that was awesome; a little messy but awesome . The Brisket Sandwich was also good; love the BBQ Sauce. The side of Greens and Mac n Cheese was also awesome; enough for two to share. The only reason I did not give (5) stars is because some of the meat was tough, but not my chicken.

Reginald Green

I BBQ a lot, so I tried not to compare mine with their's. All I could say is, I would go again. Better call ahead tho, packs out quick in the evenings.

Sam Crawford

Absolutely amazing food. And a great "Dark and Stormy" too.

Grim Punx

Salt bring some with you. Also everything my table had was dry rub no mop sauces options or sauce that we could find.

Jason V

Excellent establishment! The food was amazing. I strongly recommend you check this restaurant out and do yourself a favor and go for the ribs and Hoe cake. When you first walk in, the ambiance of the resturaunt feels cozy and welcoming. The servers and cooks are friendly and very helpful in recommending orders and specials. They have a wide selection of beers, liquors and house special drinks. The menu is simple but it makes up for it by having a very good selection of appetizers and meals to enjoy such as burgers, ribs and salad. Overall my experience at this resturaunt was exquisite.

John DeMartino

Good BBQ but pricy

J Farley

Delicious food and crafted cocktails. Great service.

Mazin Shallal

The perfect Wagyu burger! Really enjoyed my meal there. The staff were super cool and friendly which made it even more enjoyable.

Dennis Cohen

Relatively small, extremely noisey, expensive menu for decent brisket but questionable side dishes. Menu mostly ala carte so choose your side dishes carefully. Service friendly and efficient.

Pedro Velazquez

Kansas City bbq is just not my kind of bbq.

Christopher Kaneff

The atmosphere is nice the workers are friendly. I’ve always wanted to eat here because the smell walking by is tempting. Today I did just that. I ordered the wings. Cold. Tough. Sort of warm and so salty that They were unbearable. I took the wings back. I’m sure other items on their menu are better.

Alex Shevchik

cook for a very long time. I would advise you to take a couple of cooks! They cooked for two hours. it's disgusting!

My Sonny Things

So yummy. Nice staff...a bit pricy

Abdullah Al-Eissa

The brisket sandwich is a must!!

Dougie O

Great craft beers and the Bbq is amazing!!

Victoria Wilson

Great service, great food and overall excellent experience! We'll definitely be back.

Bert Rowland

Food was good, service could have been a little more focused. Very pricey for what is being served.

Al Doza

Pretty damn good BBQ. Fried chicken sandwich delicious and love the Frito pie

Veronica Jones

It was good food. Customer service was good. Certain items on the menu was real good. However the bar b cue was slacking. It was just ok. It was dry. Needed more sauce . Really not much flavor. Very dry. Nice place tough. Drove there because I saw it on Million dollar listing show.

Eric Hutchinson

Food and drinks are good, but it can get loud inside.

Pamela Robinetter

Just happened across this place. Always willing to try some good bbq and did this place not disappoint. Everything looked so good but i went with the slider sampler. Chicken, Pork and Brisket and they were all delicious. I will be back to try more for sure!

Ryan Evanson

Brisket was good but not great, but worth trying. Tri tip was also good, not great. Pulled pork was very poor, lacking any bark and having the texture of crock pot pork. The sides, especially the beans, were very good.

james yauk

Great bbq food,nice bar selection

Amanda Mullon

Pros: The brisket and tri tip were very flavorful and the portions were generous. The waiter, when we saw him, was friendly and the restaurant itself is inviting. Cons: Someone other than the waiter brought our food, I'm assuming the manager, and he seemed preoccupied. My younger son wanted ketchup for his chicken strips and when I asked for a side, the manager pointed to the ketchup that had come for the fries and said "another one?". After that, he brought my other son's tri tip out without a fork or steak knife and when I flagged him down for that, he seemed quite annoyed that I asked. The place wasn't packed but we never were visited again by the waiter or manager until we were clearly done eating, even though all our drinks were empty. I asked for 2 boxes and the check and the waiter whisked our fries away but left the empty plates. I thought maybe he was boxing them separately, but nope. To top it off, the valet smashed my mom's leg in the door before she got into the car. If I lived near here, I'd definitely do takeout as dining there was not very enjoyable but the food was tasty.

Niall Leonard

Great Atmos, lovely staff, food lethal and delicious. Not for health nuts or vegans. Although the slaw was amazing. Great range of craft beers too.

Jasmin Sol

Food is wonderful, service terrific, I had the beef ribs, great barbecue" "About an hour wait on a Friday night, very limited area to wait for your table." "Beer, wine, and spirit selection was strong and the staff was knowledge."

Dani Harrold

Barrel & Ashes has the worlds BEST Mac n cheese and slaw for starters! I have tried their Bbq which is also extraordinary...but only in a group because their servings are so generous! I have sampled bbq in the south & also Texas and in my opinion this is just as good and authentic. I bet it’s really busy and crowded weekends and nights. But I’ve never had to wait

Trenton Sims

One of my top places for BBQ. Menu is similar to a restaurant in Jacksonville I liked.

O.J. Smith

I like this place. It's not Texas BBQ... Which I hate. A lot. They do have banana pudding which I LOVE. A LOT; it's pretty good too. Definitely on my list of BBQ spots in the valley. The bar is cool. Good spot to watch a game.
