Our first time to visit! Was a rainy day so thought we would try it out today. Hubby ordered slice brisket and sausage plate with roll, chips and brownie. No fries available!!! His roll was cold, looked like it was straight out of the bag. Sausage was good( but not sliced) and sliced brisket was so thin (like sandwich meat) and had NO smoked smell or taste! I had a pulled pork sandwich. For $5.99 I was disappointed!! Not much taste and meat was cold. I had to use extra sauce to have taste!!! On the good side.... Clean place and decor was nice. Workers were friendly but never came and checked on us, even after we told them we never been there before. But loved how there was so many sauces on table to choose from!

Best BBQ I've had in my life! Everything is fresh, seasoned, and smoked daily. They use pecan wood to smoke all their meat, which gives it a super unique and mouthwatering flavor. Phenomenal service from the kindest people this side of the Mississippi. I felt right at home.

Good BBQ. I had the pulled pork and it was good. Wife and kid had the chopped beef and they seemed to enjoy it. They have 6 different flavors of sauce so you should be able to find one you like.

So good as usual. Their canine friendly patio was great for lunch on way back home from the vet. Waiter did take care of getting the dogs water before getting to talk to us asking what we wanted to drink. We will be back again with and without our fur babies. Thank you

As a Texan I have to say if you are looking for a real BBQ place that is finger licking good, fresh off the pit still hot with a good Smokey smell when you walk in the doors THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO! The meat tasted old and look liked it had been pre sliced and pulled out of a container. The only thing I expect to be cold when I walk into a BBQ place is the tater salad and slaw not my entire plate of food that I just paid good money for. Also what BBQ place doesn’t have REAL bread. The “roll” we were given were hard and if they are house made they sure as heck didn’t taste like it. Seeing the reviews online made us think we were in for a treat but We were sadly misinformed. Y’all have a good one!

Brisket was good, potato salad was good. Cole slaw wasn’t great. Tea was absolutely terrible, worst I’ve ever had. Being from the south, I was shocked that their sweet tea tasted like day old unsweetened tea. It really was terrible. Not sure if they got it mixed up or what. I had to use 13 packets of sweetener from my hotel to make it drinkable. They also didn’t have macaroni at this location, but the other one in Little Rock has it which was shocking. A BBQ place with no macaroni? But the food was decent.

Ok, so let me preface this, that I was born and raised in Texas and lived there most of my life. I came to this place because I was going to a military course at Camp Robinson, and like most people do, got a little toasted on Friday night. I woke up Saturday morning(ish) and one of my classmates suggested grabbing some grub for lunch, and mentioned the possibility of BBQ. The Whole Hog was the first thing that popped up, and another classmate of mine stated that it was really good. So myself and two other (hungover) classmates (one from Oregon, one from Virginia) ended up driving out to this place, and let me say this: The staff was *extremely* friendly and was quick to give suggestions on what was good. The beer selection was great (hair of the dog, of course), and WOW the food was *AMAZING*. I had a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and a side of ribs and a beer, and it was just.... wow. fantastic. Coming from Texas, where we are very well known for our BBQ, this was good. Large selection of bbq sauces at the table, as well as fixin's up front. but dang, let me get back to those ribs.... WOW. glazed to perfection. perfectly tender. great great great. I will definitely come back, no doubt.

Good food, good times! They have different barbecue dishes to suit everyone's needs. One big plus, they have beer! There's also a massive amount of barbecue sauce choices ranging from sweet to burning your tongue off. Great place to go with a group of people. If you eat here, you will definitely sleep good that night!

Does not serve liquor even though their website says they do. You have to pay for each individual drink, beer or wine only. Continuously charged and served chicken even though you clearly ordered pork. Pork is delicious though, if you can actually get it served to you. Prices are very reasonable

We visited Whole Hog because my husband that has lived in Arkansas for 3 years has never had Whole Hog Bbq and he wanted to try it. But I was also in the beginning stages of my pre op diet for my Gastric Bypass surgery. I realized that more than likely I would probably never get it again for at least a year or longer and that I wanted to enjoy the experience. I have had Whole Hog before and I have to say this, they have some of the best BBQ in the USA, as well as a great atmosphere, clean and a very friendly staff. I would say that Whole Hog meets the AAA standard for what a great restaurant experience should be like. Thank you so much for everything that you all do there, I would recommend that you go here if you haven't, and if you have take your friends if they haven't everyone should at least try it once.

Can I live here?? This place was ridiculously good. I'm not a fan of BBQ in general but I am a fan of everything on this menu! The pulled pork and ribs were outstanding, the rolls were sweet and buttery, the coleslaw was tasty. The selection of sauces at each table was awesome and every single one was fantastic.

We went for a group dinner & I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich. The sandwich came with 2 sides for about 9 dollars. Potato salad was pretty good, although I think it might have meat in it, so if your a vegetarian, or dnt eat pork I would definitely ask. They also serve beer is was good for our gathering

This place makes the best pulled pork and the best potato salad I've ever had. My favorite sauce combo is the number 3 and the number 6 mixed together. I'd be fine if all they sold was pulled pork and potato salad, but I recently tried the beef ribs on Beef Rib Tuesday and they were really good too. It's only one rib but it's about a foot long and had at least 1/2 pound of meat on it. It had a nice crust on the outside and was super tender on the inside. The rest of the food is pretty good too, like the sausage and the brisket. They also have a decent beer selection in addition to the fountain drinks.

Food is amazingly the staff is less than satisfaction. I tried calling more than 6 times to order a meal, but I never got an answer. So I drove to this location to get food and when asked why they could not answer the phone the gril at the desk replied with "we are so busy right now, can't you see?" There was less than 20 people there and they were not busy at all.

Multiple bbq sauces I think 6-7 depending on the specialties they put out at times. Great quality meat. Good portions. Reasonable prices. The potato salad is more of the ranch base like a loaded baked potato than the traditional style with mustard. All of it is delicious. Mustard base sauce. Vinegar base. Molasses style sauce. None are really spicy but all of them are very tasty.

If you are military then you’re better off going to Smokin Buns where they offer a military discount everyday unlike here where it’s only offered on mondays but if you’re a cop, firefighter or emt you get it daily. Funny how they wouldn’t be able to do their job if it wasn’t for military members giving them that freedom.

Quick service, but it is usually VERY busy during the lunchtime rush and dinner. This is a great place for every group, as you seat yourself wherever you fit. I love that we can buy their sauces, pro tip: remember which ones are your favorites so you can take the guesswork our of it. We like the (#6)vinegary southern mustard one, the (#3)spicy one, our kids like the (#1)traditional sweet bbq. They also have delicious and freshly made desserts. Bathrooms could use some work, but most people don’t care about that stuff. I don’t think there’s a bad thing on the menu, favorites include the pulled chicken, beef brisket and potato salad. Also, loaded baked potato and the best rolls around!

IMO the best bbq in Central Arkansas. At least, I haven't found a better place as of yet! The ribs are always tender, fall off the bone. The pulled pork and sliced brisket are to die for. Anything on the menu is not gonna let you down. Try the bbq loaded potato! Can be be a little hard to get to. Try coming from behind, on Sanders Rd., left on Mclanahan and then a right on to Warden instead of going under the overpass and crossing several lanes of traffic!

Awesome experience! It was our last day of traveling and we were hoping for a great dinner - our expectations were far exceeded. From the woman who took our order and was so sweet in helping my wife choose sides our daughter might eat to the gentleman who met us at our table with a highchair everyone was so friendly. The food was delicious with huge portions and the choice of sauces on each table are so delicious! Potato salad out of this world. Special thanks to the gentleman behind the counter who gave us more beans after my daughter ate all of mine and we went to purchase another side order but he said not to worry about it- true customer service which is so rare these days and much appreciated! Must stop if in area for delicious food with friendly service in a fun atmosphere.

We came here from a famous BBQ place in Memphis just to compare. We like this better! They have 6 different sauces to choose from. The ribs were excellent - we had glazed ribs. The pulled chicken was mostly breast, so it was dry. The sides tasted better than those we had at the Memphis place. We were satisfied with the food. We do wish there was a better dessert menu...

Tasty BBQ with fast service. Good place to go for a sit down meal but not take a long time waiting for your food. If you get a plate that has a choice of sides you can pick a brownie for one of the sides and get dessert with the meal.

It came highly recommended, so perhaps the bar was set a little too high in my mind. The food was "ok". I got the combo, pulled pork and ribs. It was tender, but no smoke flavor. The sides were good, but almost indistinguishable from what can be made at home. The staff was very friendly and inviting, and the decor is really cool.
