I really wanted to go see Dale Watson at this place this month on the 17th but they don't sell tickets they can't tell you where to buy tickets they can't sell you tickets so I guess I won't be going to that place at all ! Thank you Jimmy Doyle's is having Witt Jennings there and they sell tickets even over the phone .I guess I'll go to that show instead

We were here 3 times in 1 day but never made it inside. Some people, digging in WWT's dumpster told us that they open the bar whenever they feel like it. I called several days at different times but never got an answer. They posted, about 90 minutes before it was to start, that the show was cancelled. Someone, a few doors down had a big sign up in their yard for the band. I guess they didn't get the message either. The show was still listed on the internet. My wife checked Dale Watson's facebook page and saw that he had cancelled the day before, due to illness. We should have checked DW's facebook page instead of WWT's page. We were, of course, disappointed. We had taken off work, gotten a hotel room and driven 2 1/2 hours. Maybe someday we'll return and actually make it inside. It looks small from the outside, but the pics of it look interesting.

Complete hole in the wall. They charge a cover on a Tuesday night for music and there wasn't even a band there. It was dirty and the service was horrible. Maybe this place that used to be something back in the day but it has definitely not anymore...

A legendary bar with magical atmosphere and a long tradition of excellent music. It has the most refined and reliably solid music of any venue in Little Rock. It seems to trend around folk, rock, country, soul, singer songwriter, but includes indie, punk, jazz and anything local and good not infrequently. If you’re going to roll the dice on music, do it at White Water. The staff are kind, professional and interesting. A patio and an upstairs with pool provide different spaces to be in if you want to change the mood. The food has changed many times over the years but has remained consistently interesting, well done bar food. It can depend on the night but White Water has the strongest community around it of the venues in Little Rock. I highly recommend White Water as one of the main places to go if you’re passing through.

Honestly astounded how this place has such good reviews. My husband and I went there because a friend recommended it. It smelled horrible when we walked in and while we were sitting at the bar I saw a giant rat run across the door frame and jump behind the ice maker. We left immediately after that. I get that it's a dive bar but that's just disgusting.

Stopped by one Monday night on a business trip after being recommended by the folks at a downtown pizza place. The place is not easy to find and is tucked away intentionally near a railroad bridge. I was immediately struck by the crowd - nearly every male had a beard and looked either hippie, biker, or homeless. They ranged from very young (21+) to mature (55+). There were 15 people at first, and more piled in later. Everyone was very friendly to me and I had no trouble making conversation with strangers. I was kind of miffed by the prices for well drinks ($4.50 for house bourbon and coke), so I switched to longneck PBR for $1.50 since apparently it's the beer of choice of that crowd. The building is very dark inside, but is actually decorated very in a trendy way. They make no effort to cover up graffiti and it has an overall well-worn homey feel. No live music that night, but would be a great place to see some. I'd go again.

If you want an extremely upbeat club style sweaty bodies grinding. Two extremely loud bass from some hip hop artists that had top chart singles for strippers to dance to kind of place..... Then stay the hell away from White Water tavern. if you're looking for a extremely mixed diverse group of people from the poorest to the richest black white Hispanic Asian it doesn't matter they're all there they all mix and mingle and it's still the coolest group of people working and patrons you will find in a bar in Arkansas. Matt white and his gang new they wanted that bar when they were young and have done beyond expectations now that they run it. you will not find a more diverse or down-to-earth group of people patrons and employees alike. oh and did I mention is also the greatest venue for local or live music around. one night you might have Billie Joe Armstrong planking away is greatest country tunes with rhinestone dancing, and the next night could be a 80 style punk band with girls with short black hair and torn black stockings even though they're new. but there is never one set group or click... You got hipsters, hip hopster, rhinestones and diamonds. Mohawks to mullets, cowboy boots to no shoes. I've been going there 15 years and have never once seen a fight. between the atmosphere, the live music, and Matt and his crews undying dedication to make the place great, you will not find a better place to buy beer and have a good time then white water tavern
