Great food at great prices. Husband had the Chicken Fried Steak plate with homemade mashed potatoes, gravy, and toast. It came with a fresh garden salad. He ate it all. I got the fish sandwich (cod) for a change of pace. It came with crinkle cut fries. I also ordered their version of jalapeno "poppers" w/ranch dressing, which I couldn't stop eating. Therefore, I only ate half my sandwich. My fish-hater husband ate the other half

It was an ok visit. The food was awesome as alw always. A customer shouldn't have to wait on their drinks when they normally get them to ya while waiting on their food. Also another customer comes in and orders and gets their food before you do when you ordered first makes it look like you have to rub elbows with the owner and get special privileges.Sorry not fair dude.

Return here after moving away for 2 years. My daughters and I wanted chinese but my wife wanted to eat here every time we come back here. So, my daughters and I brought our take-out while my wife ordered her favourite catfish along with 3 drinks for us. We were very disappointed when the owner showed up with her food and told us that he didn't allow any outside food and told us that we have to buy their food. That was very uncomfortable. So, we quickly ate and left. Sadly, that was one of our favourite places when we stayed here.

Called in before I got there so I could place an to go order. The worker kept hanging up the phone when I arrived and ordered 2 fish dinner one with slaw and ordered the other with salad. Got the salad but not the slaw for $20 she could have done better. Texarkana life style

Nice country style restaurant. We had chicken fried steak w/gravy (more of a chicken fried Salisbury steak), mashed potatoes and fried catfish. All cooked to perfection. Hot and was delish.

A great little restaurant. Food is always prepared fresh, so it is not the fastest of food, but it is worth waiting for to get that quality of fresh, hot and tasty food. Restaurant has been in the community for many years. Prices are competitive with fast food places, actually a little less pricey than most fast food places. The catfish and shrimp is very good. The burger that I have had there was also very good. I recommend this place.

Ordered burgers and fries and the burgers not only tasted like they had been microwaved but there were several hairs in all of the burgers. The fries were as hard as rocks and completely inedible as were the burgers. I'll never eat here again.

Best Burger joint in town, Wayne's has been tested when other Burger joints have come and gone but have always came out on top. Real Al beef paddies made fresh to order. Fries are done in the same. The establishment is also very old fashioned if your into that sort of place, very family oriented.

Food was horrible. Waynes is nothing like it use to be. Happened to be in the area and remembered how good this place was in the past. Stop for a burger and fries. Could tell the burger had been reheated in a microwave and the fries were cold and hard. Didn't find out these things until I got home. I won't be back.
