This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Sushi restaurant.
Such a sad story. This used to be one of our favorite places on Dickson, but the prices have gone up and the quality of the food has gone down
Love sitting outside on the patio with friends eating good sushi and having a few drinks. A little pricey but the atmosphere is great.
Amazing sushi. Stay away from the salad, too much sesame oil.
Amazing service, yummy Sushi!
I've never had a bad experience at this place. They are surprisingly not as pricey as you would think for the atmosphere and architecture of the place, the location, & the quality of the food. Especially if you go during lunch, sometimes they have specials. Just like most sushi bars, they have all the standard expected offerings plus some house specialty roles. I think they do a particularly good job with the classic caterpillar roll, and dragon roll. They also have a full bar and their cocktails are all decent so far. I would say that in Fayetteville, wasabi sushi bar is the best combination of quality+price+ atmosphere. Shogun steakhouse is the best & nicest, sure. But I'd say Wasabi is right next to them in terms of atmosphere +quality, for a lower price. (Tokyo sushi is my 3rd fav, they're solidly decent for the affordable price, but they're definitely not fancy.)
Great rolls!
Service was friendly. They got my appetizer wrong, but quickly corrected it. Quality of sushi was average, would suggest Tokyo down the road instead.
Love the food and the service was good.
Friendly staff, good food and drink
Reasonable food for Arkansas
Love this place
Great place for lunch. Expect to spend ~$10-$12 excluding drinks. Portions are large, which I appreciated.
I loved everything there. The food is amazing and the team is awsome.
Really good food and menu selection
My wife and I went to Wasabi last night and shared the "Mole" roll. The roll was comparable to other good quality sushi restaurants. But what left a very bad impression on us was the service. The waitress literally threw my salad on the table, splashing dressing on my wife. And my glass of wine was delivered in the same manner. It was slammed onto the table and the waitress quickly turned and ran off. She never smiled or greeted us and seemed to have a major attitude. When we put the money in the folder for our $24.83 bill with X2 $20 bills, this same waitress asked us if we wanted change. Needless to say, "no" was the answer and she received a $1.25 tip that she didn't even deserve for her terrible service and attitude. This will probably be our last trip to Wasabi. There is comparable food at nearby sushi restaurants with excellent service.
The sushi was awesome and atmosphere as well!
Disappointed in the overall cleanliness. The smoke smell is forgiveable as there's a smoking bar next door. However, my menu smelled of mildew. The glasswear may have sanitized but still had specks of stuff and spots. I wasnt really sure of i was being served at the bar by a server too young to make drinks or if the bartender was too busy to do anything but make the occasional drink; all the while both drink maker and server remained out of sight for the majority of the time
Excellent sushi is a bit pricey.
Good for a restaurant right on Dickson. Might be pricy for the college student, but can be fun for the night out.
I love the eggrolls! They are out of this world. The sushi is the best, it's clean and has a lot of varieties. I enjoy the fact that I can get a drink and eat sushi with my friends and family. Definitely recommend it.
Nice sushi. The sake you get here is bottled.
Good sushi on Dickson, a great way to start a weekend
Food is delicious! Atmosphere is good. Prices are a little high and the service is not always on point. Staff is friendly, just not always fast.
A good place to have Japanese food.
Food is just ok, but hella expensive
Decent sushi at excellent prices.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. We enjoyed this dining experience.
One of the better places in town to get sushi. The other food on the menu has always underwhelmed me, but I know a lot of people that like it. Relatively expensive though and you often have to pay to park there raising the cost of admission.
I’m torn between giving this four and five stars. My coworkers and I went for happy hour yesterday, and had a great time. The server was extremely attentive, and went out of his way to be friendly and welcoming. The only reason this isn’t a 5 Star review is the sushi was good, but not amazing. I got the spicy salmon and tuna rolls, and they were really yummy, just not close to the best sushi I’ve ever had. Overall, I really liked it there. Their happy hour sushi rolls are 15% off, which makes it worth it!
Decided to finally visit Dickson street for the first time after the Hogs super regional baseball game..... I'm here now and wet a kool atmosphere!!!! DJ , good food great drinks and specials and great vibes! Loving this place
Great service and atmosphere! Sushi though was abnormal. All texture was sponge like and flavors are consistent from one roll to the next with little variation. The meat seemed ground up or the consistency of tuna salad. Great overall, but avoid sushi.
Fish quality a little above average for the area but servers go MIA pretty frequently.
Ate here with a group of friends, we were all pleasantly surprised.
I love this place! Has amazing food and the environment is so relaxing! I do not know how many times I have been there!!! You must try the Baked Baby Lobster roll!!!
The place smelled dirty despite my friend being sat directly under a row of chemicals. I didn't see any one smoking but it smelled like cigarettes. My sister went to use the restroom and it was so disgusting. The staff was friendly but not enough for us to stay and find out what the food was like.
Good food. Quick friendly Service.
Changed menu and now can't get beef negimaki roll.
Would rate 5 stars but the smell of cigarette smoke from the bar at night lasts all day
I was hoping for udon soup but I got udon stir fry instead. Still good.
Food was disappointing. Service was good.
Great sushi, seaweed salad... Everything you'd expect. Bonus: some of the best fried rice in town
The food was good and the staff were great. beautiful place to go to. sushi is in huge portion and the sauce was yummy. I recommend the miso soup with anything. the view of the was good the bar the TV and the vibe was very comfortable. plenty of drinks to choose from.
Very good sushi and drinks
Only one server for the entire restaurant. She was working hard, but weren't greeted at table until about seven minutes after seated. Poor management. Ok food.
Don't eat the noodles here its so good you literally end up coming back everyday. It completely ruined my social life because every day I only wanted to dine there. There used to be a girl I had a HUGE crush on there then the new Liquor oped nearby and before I got to talk to her, the Drunks came and picked her up first. I heard she got pregnant and from that day on I never seen her again. But anyways the food was good I recommend coming by.
The Yakisoba bento was okay. Nothing amazing. The Tamago was the same, if a bit dry. The waiter seems done with is as soon as we didn't order alcohol (this was a Saturday early afternoon). He got the order wrong, but did fix it once we caught him on the way back from the table of people who were drinking. He did apologise but it did hurt the experience.
I go to Wasabi quite often for lunch and have always found the atmosphere, service and food to be very appropriate.
One of the best sushi houses I've been to in a long time!
Good quality sushi for NWA! It's a little pricier than other places but you definately get what you pay for. I will be back over and over. We had the crystal summer (my personal fave), spider, oh baby and SAMs roll. All delicious! Service was also great which is nice!
Excellent sushi and loved the patio.
Good atmosphere, great food. Large offering of sushi and Asian cuisine. Not a large amount of seating, so weekends may come with a wait. Try the bulgogi if you can't decide.
Great service, good food, and convenient for lunch time.
We went during the day and were seated outside. It was a nice and breezy day. Sushi was good - nothing too spectacular. Waiters were friendly but did not try too much. Good for a college restaurant and sizable portion.
I don't like that you have to pay to park in their parking lot now. The service and food was good.
A very popular, usually busy sushi spot in a great location on Dickson. Large sushi menu and decent cocktails as well as a large selection non-sushi items. A handful of local beers on tap at the bar. Nothing terribly special, generally good typical sushi/Japanese bistro fare. (Meiji is easily the superior sushi place in town).
Slightly pricey, but the food is really good. The patio is amazing and is dog friendly!
Fun atmosphere and great staff
great sushi and very nice atmosphere
Excellent place to enjoy sushi but try their egg rolls too.
Very friendly service, and great sushi!
Service and atmosphere were great. Egg rolls and Steak Fried Rice were delicious. The sushi roll we had was good, to much sauce but still good.
I crave this place, so addicting!
Love this place. Monday night's have the best specials and the vegetarian options are plentiful.
The best sushi in fayetteville. Never had anything bad here. All Good!! Nice bar area and clean restrooms. However, you can tell it was once a bar when you go to the restroom, smells like cigarettes.
I absolutely love this place.
Fine, good price
Medium priced. Good sushi.
We used to love this place in college, and were back in town and decided to come for happy hour. Right when we walked in, there was a strong smell of marijuana, and it was even stronger when we went back to the bathroom area. The spring rolls were good, but the prices were much more than before. When the sushi came out, it was thinly sliced, trying to hide the fact that there was barely any food. Overall, I was very disappointed.
The food is really good and comes at affordable prices
Wasabi is one of the best restaurants on Dickson st. It's one of the go to places when me and my friends don't know where to go. Their food is delicious, diverse and moderately priced. The staff is also nice and helpful.
Don't get the fried roll with the spicy tuna.
Dog friendly!
Stopped in for some sushi and a drink and wasn't impressed. The roll I got didn't taste too good. The drinks were ok though. Service was good. There was a DJ there while I was, he was good. ✌
It's a quiet place for drinks food and fresh sushi
Great but fairly standard sushi selection. Good drink selection. Enough variety for people that don't like sushi. Educational ID discount.
Decided to try this place out for some sushi, walked in at 8:40 PM on 11/18/16 and decided to get up and leave at 9:10 because not a single employee even noticed us. It wasn't busy; I've been in the service industry for a long time and even if a table wasn't in my section, you were told to greet the guest and let them know they were going to be taken care of as soon as possible. My management would have chewed my ass out if I let a table sit there unattended for 20+ minutes. Disappointed.
Awesome graffiti art and take out was good
Way way way too expensive for thier okayish food. Save your time and money and go elsewhere
Much fresher sushi than other nearby options, but not the best sushi in Fayetteville (Meji) or NWA (Sushi House). But the chirashi bowl is a great deal, and the service is usually pretty fast, the atmosphere is fun and the location is great.
love wasabi!! relaxed atmosphere + friendly staff
Yummy food and great drink specials. A little on the pricey side, $20 entrees. Nice environment. Located on Dickson, within walking distance to the Dickson street party.
Great food super great Wait staff can't wait to come back.
Lovely dacor and tasty food.
Great place for sushi!
One of my absolute favorite places for sushi in Fayetteville. The Sam’s Roll is delicious. My daughter thinks it’s great that it comes on fire. We love the patio when the weather is nice. The food is fresh and consistently good.
A little pricey but the best sushi in Fayetteville!
We really enjoyed this place. The sushi was good and prices fair.
Wasabi is conveniently located downtown, and was surprisingly empty during the punch hour on the Monday I went. There was enough parking in their lot, which was surprising, and my friend and I were seated quickly. The staff was pleasant and polite, and the lunch menu was affordable. I ordered tuna and salmon nigiri, and was very happy with the quantity and quality of the fish. The rice was perfect as well, and didn't fall upon when picked up with chopsticks. My friend ordered two rolls, which both looked delicious. Overall, I was very satisfied with my visit!
We were on Dickson street for the Pride parade and some friends were at Wasabi. We only intended to go in and say hello to our friends but once we saw their food we HAD to order. We got the beef Udon noodle bowl and it was fantastic! All of the food looked so good and the portions are HUGE. I can't wait to go back and try more menu items!
Great local music! And food!
One of my favorite sushi restaurants around NWA Crystal Summer roll recommended!! Very fresh fish
Sushi is really good. Everything else is pretty mediocre. If you're looking for a quick bite and want sushi this is a great place.
Love the food, people and atmosphere of this place.
The food was perfect, it was quiet but but not in a weird way... Even my super picky friend said everything she tried was the best she'd had. The rolls should win awards. Do yourself a favor and save a little so you can enjoy yourself.
I have three words for you! Heart attack roll. Order. Devour. Repeat. Delicious! The Dol-Sot-Bop is divine. The spicy sashimi salad is a must. So many wonderful options, you can not go wrong. The bar area is pretty. Service is outstanding! 11/10!
Always a good choice for sushi, it gets a little crowded if you have a large group, but the food and service are great.
Really good food...kinda pricey but worth it.
Food is great, service is always super helpful, and they have wonderful drinks specials.
Patio was fun! We didn't eat, but the ginger infused vodka mule was spot on!
Great restaurant and great atmosphere. Sushi Chef Thy was very knowledgeable about what he was working with, he was quick, generous yet shy, and his dish presentation was amazing. He makes the visit worth going to. I'll be a returning guest because of him.
Food taste: 5/5 Food presentation: 5/5 Service quality: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Overal experience: 5/5 The food was fantastic! It came out hot and didn't take too long either. I ordered the Dragon Roll and an appetizer of Egg Rolls. The waitress only filled my drink up twice but it was really busy. It was crowded but the staff didn't seamed bothered at all which makes guest feel like it isnt as crowded either. I will be eating there again soon.
Wasabi failed to compare to any other sushi place I've ever had. I got the shrimp tempura roll and California roll. These are pretty basic rolls that are seen at most sushi restaurants. The rolls did not taste fresh and we're not good at all. The edamame was not even that great. We will not be returning to Wasabi.
Great food and service! I can only rate based off the rolls but they do offer a well rounded menu including soups, salads and teppanyaki. As well as a few locally brewed beers on tap. Proportions are moderate and filling.
They say you can always judge a Japaness restaurant by the cleanliness of its bathrooms. This place has a bathroom about as clean as a bathroom on the back of a Greyhound bus. I didn't get sick eating here, but I was seriously worried.
Not into fish food...suck hard core
Great, fair priced Japanese food although not "authentic" rolls. If you get to kow the sushi chefs you can have some very nice quality sushi. Service is always personable and attentive except for the managers. They are never engaged with the clients. Always at the bar watching YouTube and often having drinks.
Not that nice looking..had foul smell
Higher price with small portions
Oh sweet mercy. I've eaten ALOT of sushi and this place is easily top 3. The quality is very good and their rolls are unique. Well worth the trip.
Great sushi
Great food and good atmosphere.
Always good quality sushi, and good service.
Great location for business lunches or dates. The food is always good and the service is quick. This is my go-to place on Dickson when I'm meeting with people for lunch since I know it's not too loud to talk. I recommend getting here a little before lunch time though because it does get crowded. The only drawback I have is that you have to pay for parking, but that seems to be the only option around Dickson St. these days.
Live music, Sublime covers, excellent food.
Great rolls. Atmosphere is so so.
3pm happy hour is a great steal!
Great food and great service. Very fresh tasting California roll!
They serve great sushi. Wait ataff was on as well. Great job.. Will come back for family weekend
Great food, fast service
Good sushi, great cocktails and service by personable staff. We were there on a very busy Friday night, but still were seated and served in a reasonable amount of time, and the staff was very attentive, and helpful to my gluten free needs.
Very reasonable priced, great service, great sushi
Good service and food
Food is good, their garlic sauce is delicious. Sushi is overpriced for the portions compared to other sushi places.
Good sushi, decent prices, good service... I will return
Lovee!
I will say one word that is the reason for liking Wasabi. TONY
Pretty much everything you want in a Japanese restaurant. Limited parking, best to try to get there on foot while downtown in Fayetteville.
They microwave their beef.
My favorite sushi place! Great service, AMAZING food and the best prices!
I got the rainbow roll. It was amazing. However, the martinis are absolutely disgusting. Pamatini tastes like cough syrup. The other martinis my friends had were not good either.
Excellent food and terrific service!
I have dined here twice and each time I found to be exceptional, freshly prepared and beautifully served. The staff are friendly and quick. The first visit my husband spilled his drink and they did not make him feel uncomfortable and very quickly and light heartedly cleaned it up and replaced his drink. Give it a try!
Love love. This place is awesome. You can smell the fresh food the minute you walk in. Courteous staff and no.long waits!
GREAT FOOD. AWESOME price.
We've been to Wasabi a lot and generally it's really great, but this last time everything was very poor quality as if it had been sitting for a very long time. Beyond that certain sushi rolls are really good and the beer selection is good too.
Great sushi, friendly service, just wish it was more affordable
Really good foid. Friendly staff.
By far the best fried rice in Fayetteville. The sushi rolls are large and you’ll get your fill. Love this place!
Prices were higher than expected but service and quality of food made up for it. I was surprised with the quality of the sushi I ordered. Big Mouth highly recommended, very delicious. Very wide selection of sushi rolls based on different things you might look for. Plenty of foreign liquors, enjoyed some sake while there.
I really liked the atmosphere here. I only ordered 1 drink and 1 roll and didn't like either. I can't say the place is bad because I only tried 1 thing. But it did seem overpriced.
Server was a total millennial, longest lunch ever. Had to get the manager to get the server several times.
Great sushi
The evniorment is nice , quite a lot of space . Sushi are fine. I liked the Spicy Korean tofu seafood soup,it was really spicy and the scallops in the soup were are really big and yummy ,I also ordered Yakisoba combo (diced beef ,shrimp & chicken) the chicken were way too dry and a few sad broccoi at the bottom that didnt lool like they belong to the dish. Green tea ice cream was huge but it didnt taste like anything but sugar.. I wouldnt order that if you are expecting a Matcha fav sweet.
My daughter and I love to go here when I'm in town on business. WPS!
Always love their food!
Great appetizers, sushi. Great locale. Average fried rice.
Shockingly good sushi in northeast Arkansas. These folks really know what they're doing. They even had fresh wasabi.
Came in at 7pm and the restaurant was really mellow. The service was attentive, courteous, and speedy. The food was fantastic and the portions were good enough to fill me up without feeling like I was dying .Overall a great experience! Very impressed
