As you know, we do not usually bother to set feddbacks when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant is included in the category of Sushi restaurant.
Our family of 6 went on a Friday night. I ordered the Johnny’s Lover (which was excellent) and the Wasabi Roll which I had to send back because it had the taste of the lighter fluid used to set it on fire. So, I am giving it a 3 because your signature roll should be your best. Kids had the fried rice and enjoyed it. Restaurant was understaffed for a Friday night. Our waiter was also the hostess and the bartender.
Parking was tough to find, waiter was really pushy, sushi was average, prices a little on the high side.
I like it and I would eat there again. I found the service good and price to be reasonable.
Favorite lunch spot, love the Hibachi chicken with steamed rice and grilled veggies.
Three of us went in to eat and we all ordered at the same time. Let's start off with our server. I didn't get his name but he is a young white man. He moved at the pace of an actual snail and wasn't prepared at all. He didnt even have a pen to take our order at first. They brought my buddies food out and then our other friend and I were left waiting. It took 5 minutes and they finally brought out my food as well. He didnt ask us if we needed anything else and he didn't ask how my buddies food was considering he was already well into his meal. After a few more minutes I got up and addressed him that we were still waiting on a meal to which he said he didn't even hear or write down. He didn't apologize and he was just a bit rude. Which is just enough because you dont do that to a customer. I was not rude in the slightest. I dont blame the terrible rude server completely though because he obviously hasn't been trained properly by management to do his job correctly. Nobody apologized at all while this was happening. Absolutely awful experience with this location.
We ate here for lunch a few times. Sushi selection is great, with some added local flair. Hibachi dishes are cooked to perfection. Location isn't too bad, with nice views of downtown area. Parking isn't very plentiful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a little pricey though. Still one of our favorites!
This was once my favorite sushi restaurant in town, it’s not any longer. The quality has gone down from the food to the level of service. The fish is not fresh. I’ve given them chance after chance so I’m done. I will not be back.
The food is really good, but the people who handle to-go orders aren’t very nice....
My favorite place to eat in Little Rock. The owner is cool and so is my waitress. Shes always nice and knows where me and bae wanna sit. Hands down the best
Wasabi sushi bar is a wonderful place to enjoy great food in a relaxed area. Just order two drinks at a time as it may take a few based on staffing at the time. I ordered two rolls and tuna. It was amazing.
Had the steak hibachi and wife had lobster hibachi - both were great! Eel sushi was tasty as well. Service was fast, but could have been a bit more friendly though.
We waited a whole hour just to get started and it took over 20 mins before all of us got food
I would say the sushi is top notch here. Extremely fresh ingredients used in the sushi and very fresh tasting. I would definately recommend to anyone. I have never had sushi this good or this fresh! Can't wait until my return visit.
Food was excellent. Service was subpar--drinks sat empty for about 10-15 minutes and we had to flag someone down to get refills. After our food was given, a waiter only came to our table without us asking once- after we had sat there twiddling out thumbs, and to ask if we were ready for our checks. I'd forgive this if they were busy, but there were only about 5 tables in use and at least 5 waiters. Overall probably will not return, hard to justify even good sushi at this price when service is so mediocre.
Love Wasabi sushi!!!! My fave in Little Rock
Had my first martini and it was great. Great little place close to a lot of things around the river market.
Awesome sushi, friendly people and a great atmosphere
The food was delish!! I don't think they were ready for how large a crowd we had for our conference and the wait staff was disorganized and not enough to be able to get to you in a timely manner. However, the food was hot and good! Great Sushi!! #monkeybrains!
Great food, nice services... and super friendly staff
Food was good service sucked. Took 30 minutes for them to take our drink orders.
Decent casual sushi spot. All the usual me u items you would expect. Not fancy at all but clean. Good location next to the Marriot and Doubletree. Don’t come bar. Its a full bar but no notable cocktails.
Comfortable atmosphere. Food was great, my girlfriend recommended this place after having it grub hubbed to her at work one day. Sushi was excellent. I had the spicy tuna roll and she had the tempura shrimp roll and they were both so good and fresh. Yakisoba combination noodles was so great! Very nice portion size and drinks very good! We will definitely be back again.
Great sashimi, took my 6 year old son here to try sushi (his request) and they were awesome. The only problem is he keeps wanting to go back all the time.
Good but not the same under new management. Liked the old Wasabi better. They took my favorite roll off the menu and the jalapeño fried rice is a little different
Good food. I've had delivery and sit down and each time was good. Delivered to my hotel rather quickly
Fast service and good food. I recommend the filet mignon lunch meal. Comes with rice, veggies and salad. Get the ginger dressing.
If you like overpriced sashimi compared to sky modern sashimi on cantrell that wasabi sushi carries significantly small stale raw leftovers, then this is the place to go to get sashimi. I couldn't eat it; I was afraid I'll get sick. The person taking to go orders was sweet, but I believed I won't be going back. Throwing away $63 of raw food. I got the sashimi sampler 8 pieces and sashimi dinner/combo for 18 pieces, but you see here they are missing a piece or two.
Consistently good sushi! Eat here all the time. Wait staff is super nice. Always packed at lunch.
This is my favorite place to go to for all my sushi needs. Their Playboy roll is one of my must have rolls. If you feel the need to try out different sushi restaurants, if you don't stop here, you are not sushing!
Amazing food and above-par service! My new favorite place!
This place is always fast, friendly, and delicious!
Great service and great tasting food
Excellent service, sushi is amazingly fresh, and customer service is great. Price points are high.
This is the first time I've given a positive review online. I went here on 10/12/15 bc they had a sign saying new management 30% off. I was really surprised how friendly the sushi chef was. The sushi also came out really fresh and delicious. I will defenitally be back!
Professional workers, quick service, amazing food
Good Sushi Lunch Special
Good food, fish quality A+, not great service.
I like the shrubery
The bartender was great and the food those definitely 5-star. I dine in restaurants 340 days of the year and I will definitely look forward to getting back to Little Rock.
Good sushi. It's a convinient walking distance from a lot of museums.
That’s where are go if I want to get delicious sushis Always welcomed by owners and the staff are amazing They go above and beyond to keep their guests happy
Wish I could give them more than 5 stars. If you guys haven't tried their food yet. You are missing out. ;)
Delicious sushi and drinks! The crazy monkey was really good.
Food is delicious and service is on time
Had the noodles. Very good and filling. Wonderful staff.
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The sushi tasted great. Try the monkey brains roll!
Great eats!!!
uhmazing
Good consistent food and service. Great for pre concert meal if you're going to a concert. Walking distance to Robinson Auditorium or catch the street car to Verizon Arena.
This is one of the best restaurants in Little Rock, my family loves this place, the food and staff /owner are Awesome. If you don't get 5 star service every time, you must be the wrong address. Thanks Wasabi, your the Best!!!
Decent sushi, meh service. I had to ask for wasabi!
Food and atmosphere was great! Our waiter Mitchel was a bit forgetful but was very courteous and polite when we asked for whatever we needed. Shout out to Mitchel! :)
Sushi is always fresh and they're fast at getting the food out to you and everyone has always been friendly. It's a great lunch spot or dinner spot and in a good part of downtown!
Best ginger dressing ever. Prices for a downtown area is unbelievable. Sushi fresh and delicious. Udon noodles, salmon and big dam roll a must try.
Sushi and service is great. Food and hot sake keep me coming back for more again and again. If you are downtown don't miss out on this great local restaurant.
I went here with my wife and a friend and it was terrible. They brought my food out and it took a little more than 5 minutes and my buddy got his food but my wife’s never came. Turns out the server never even heard or put it in. He was very rude and not properly trained to serve. And nobody ever apologized for he mistake. He was rude so we left.
Rolls ok and value is mediocre.. and if you like to be left alone, as opposed to being doted on, (which I do) the service is fine.
Food I had was horrible. Fried rice. Bland. Service was good.
Excellent sushi. I have found that one roll is enough for a meal, and their miso soup is good! It's not the cheapest place in town, but is worth the money!
They are extremely slow at preparing the food for delivery orders.
Consistently great food and friendly staff. We have enjoyed everything we have tried here.
Service was not the best. Took about 25 minutes just to seat me and another 15-20 to take my order
First time there. The service and food were excellent!!! Finally a place in Little Rock I was happy with the food. Will be going back for more.
This place has great food. Its always busy, or at least it was during the ATA World's event. Its inexpensive and delicious!
Stopped by here recently during my trip to Arkansas and to be honest I wasn't expecting much (I lived in Seattle for 10 years where the Sushi and Fish are top tier) but was pleasantly surprised! I tried the Monkey Brain roll on recommendation of our server (I think his name was Louis) and loved it! The food was tasty, and our server was personable + helpful. I plan on coming back next time I am in Arkansas!
Great food! Lunch specials are wonderful.
Best fried rice in town.
Went here for sushi. Food quality wasn't bad. Service in the general seating area was awful. I had to hunt down our waiter TWICE to take our food order and bring our checks... after waiting more than 20 minutes for each. The bartender seemed to be doing well, though, so maybe go and sit at the bar only.
Great food!
Worse sushi ever. I ordered the cooked Shrimp and avocado rolls and received nothing of the sort I travel for a living and have eaten sushi and this by far was my experience ever. I would never order from here again.
I eat here frequently. The service and food is always great.its a great place for a quick lunch date
Enjoyed the chicken hibachi lunch, and the service was excellent.
I went with a large group of coworkers; the service was on-point and the food was amazing!!!
The food was delicious. The only problem I had was that I was checked on too much. At a certain point I felt rushed to get out of the place.
Food was great! Rinta was quite attentive and friendly. Thanks!
LOVVVEEEE THIS PLACE!!! NOW IM ADDICTED TO SUSHI!!! THE ARKANSAS RIVER ROLL & PHILLY ROLLS ARE MY FAVORITE!!!! IM IN LOVE
Food here is Fantastic..
Ordered a combo fried rice. Great basic choice, the only reason I'm not eating it higher is due to the steak having a lingering after taste. Not sure if it was old or just bad meat. But everyone raved about the sushi, I didn't try it but apparently it's a great option as well.
Best sushi selection in Little Rock. They also have fried rice for a great price.
Staff were really nice and the food was really good. Get the Monkey Brain sushi and try it. Someone recommended that I try the Monkey Brain deep fried sushi and I'm so glad that I did.
when we go with the family or sit at the bar the sushi is always wonderful. we tried the hibachi style the other night for the kids and they loved it.
I really liked it and been there 3 times the week I spent in little rock. Good service and tasty food
Excellent food, with predictably good wasabi!
Great place.
Great place for the quality of sushi vs. price ratio, especially for the location. They also have HH until 6:30 on weekdays.
We eat here all the time and love it. Their fried rice is our favorite. It tastes just like the hibachi places that cook in front of you yet it's not nearly as expensive. It's around $8 for a large fried rice dinner. Their sushi is good too! Definitely one of our favorite places to go.
Good food and good service, my wife and I were able to both had a meal for less than one person normally can eat.
I enjoyed the salad with the peanut butter and ginger dressing, the sake and the sake bomb, however, the shrimp roll was very disappointing. I am from California so I know sushi. The shrimp roll had only the very tail end of the shrimp. I'm used to getting the whole shrimp. It should be called tail end shrimp roll.
Servers were fast n friendly...I tried the King Kong Roll...and took a jalapeno fried rice home...Exellent
Decent sushi in the downtown. Plenty of options cooked and raw plus noodle and rice dishes. Fairly quick service will try again next time I'm in town
Always a friendly place with good food. Sometimes the service can be slow when they are busy.
Always good food and service.
I eat here every week. (I order shrimp fried rice or the tokyo drift sushi roll) Sometimes, twice a week! I love the food and the team is always so nice and helpful! I've never had a bad experience. This is easily my favorite place to eat.
I regularly order thru Bite Sqad. Not inexpensive, but so good it’s worth it.
Great food, service was ok.
I love, love, so in love with this restaurant, very fresh and excellent taste sushi that i haven’t had in long time, udon noodle is the best that i ever had and friendly service, will be back again for sure to try some more stuff
Friendly staff. Fried rice was good. Sushi rolls were great. You can get your rolls with soy paper if you hate the seaweed wrapper like myself. I had the Monkey Brain and Ichiro rolls. Monkey Brain was deep fried and delicious. My friend had a spicy roll that was lit on fire while it was wrapped in foil.
The food is great. There isn't any designated parking so it is a hassle getting there.
Good sushi at a decent price. Nothing truly phenominal but have stopped by whenever im in town.
Horrible service. Food was good but the bad service made the visit my last. A bottle of white wine should be served with something to keep it cold but they left it on the table. Had to ask twice for water. Never checked on the table and had to get up to get anything.
It was great sushi and good prices.
The food was great and so was the atmosphere! Will definitely stop in again next time I'm in the area! :3
It's always good!!
Food is good. Amount is robbery. Kids portions. Shameful
The place is nice and clean it was a busy night due to an event going on at the convention but the food arrives in a timely manner. The crew are nice and attentive. The food quality is good and serving is actually good portion.
Very quaint place and the food was great
Great food, wait time a little long
It's an ok place for sushi...which is not a specialty of this part of the country. Service is good and efficient, prices are good. Its menu offerings are reminiscent of those you find in grocery stores in big cities...but a bit fresher.
Great service. Good food!
The spring rolls were actually egg rolls. Spring rolls aren't supposed to be fried. Egg rolls might have been spring rolls. The music. How do I describe the music? Half the time I was in an anime show, the other half stuck in an elevator. Is classical violin dub step still a thing? It was so weird it was lit.
Wow!!!! Very good food and staff!!!! Enjoy every minutes:-) thank you very much!!!
I get bite squad delivery from here all the time. Best sushi I've had in downtown little rock for the price.
Been here a few times now. I enjoy the hibachi lobster and filet mignon.
I have been looking everywhere for a sushi and hibachi spot that tastes as good as what I get in NWA— I finally found it! I tried the monkey brain roll and I wished it was twice as big, even though I couldn’t have eaten it all! Definitely a great place for a relaxed sushi dinner, it was so so good!
Sushi was great, service was hit and miss but I believe it was because they were ultra busy from Comic Con. I'd like to try it when the convention center isn't throwing people their way
The Hibachi Grilled Shrimp is delicious! The service was great as well.
Excellent! More creative menu than most sushi places.
Good product, quick service. Great for the lunch crowd
