One of my favorite Thai restaurants in Fayetteville. They have amazing vegetarian options! My favorite dish is the fried crystal noodles with tofu; their red curry is a close contender. Service is always very quick. The dishes are always on point--love that fact that they never overcook their vegetables. Love this restaurant!

One of my party was vegetarian and literally every entree and appetizer on the menu was partially or totally premade with meat or some kind of fish sauce- so absolutely do not go to this place if you're with a vegetarian. I really wanted to like the place, it looks kinda neat but the overall experience was kinda disappointing.

Hands down favorite place to eat in Fayetteville. The food is consistently amazing and I've been eating there for five plus years. I live/work in the BVI and each time I'm back in town, I always make time to eat here. What makes it unique is the care and love that they put into the gardens and surrounding atmosphere and that same love and care us reflected in the food.

My husband and I loved going to eat there until tonight. T waitress was very rude. People who came in 20 to 30 minutes after us got their food. When I asked the waitress when are we going to get our food she didn't come back to let us know. After another 20 minutes and still no food. So we went and paid for our drinks the cashier said you don't want your food I said no and we will not be back.

Service was very good. Food was average at best. Ordered Green Curry with chicken and fresh spring roll. Spring rolls were good but the sauce was a vinegar base not a peanut sauce. I will try this place again, all their reviews are so good it may have been what I ordered or my taste buds might have been off today. With so many great reviews I owe it to myself to give another chance

First, I would like to say that this restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, lots of seating and a really great beer selection. I tried this place because they claimed to have vegetarian and vegan options. Wrongly assumed that the curry wouldn't be made with fish sauce and was very disappointed after receiving my meal then immediately tasting fish in it. Sent it back to the kitchen and had the server help me pick something else from the menu. Was really disappointed to find out that nearly every dish was made with fish sauce or oyster sauce, including the pad Thai and other noodle dishes. The server looked really confused when I explained to her that no, i would not eat oyster sauce. Eventually she recommended stir fry without fish sauce and oyster sauce. I waited 20 extra minutes for something that wasn't worth $3, let alone the $10 they charged for it. It was veggies and tofu with a translucent, extremely salty sauce that basically tasted like salt water. Veggies and salt water... This was apparently the "vegan" option. The server apologeticly explained that it was "better with oyster sauce". If you are vegetarian or vegan, I would never recommend this place. I have been dining out as a vegan for 5+ years and this place does not cater to vegetarians/vegans at all. This was the saddest dining out experience of my life.

I've heard that this is the best place in town, so I happily went there with my partner. We ordered the duck, an order of chicken springrolls, and the chicken -- one of which was decent. My plate, the duck, not only was undercooked, but even had a bone in it! For a 12.00 plate, one which is centered around the choice of meat, the chef should have caught an obvious choking hazard and unwarranted part of the animal. Furthermore, our chicken springrolls had zero chicken in them. When I called to report these findings, no attempt was made to rectify the situation or to clarify a remedy. She merely said, "okay" and hung up. I will never eat here again, nor will my family members. I suggest NO ONE eat here for your own safety.

Family owned and operated Thai restaurant. Atmosphere is relaxing and decor adds some authenticity. The menu selection is good and the service is attentive. There is outdoor seating if the weather is good. Thai tea hits the spot everytime. If you haven't tried Thai food, then branch out and give this place a try!

We were in town for just a couple of days and picked this place based on the good reviews. It's not fancy, but has been recently renovated. My green curry had a fresh, colorful mix of veggies that were cooked just right, not overdone. Great flavor and not too sweet either. My husband tried chicken in a kind of sweet-and-sour sauce and he says it was quite good as well. Definitely worth stopping by.

Absolutely delicious cuisine! Totally authentic and they grow all of their own produce or purchase it from local farmers if they don't have what they need. We usually get Pad Thai and a curry. This time we also got fried rice. We will forever be in love with their fried rice. It is the most delicious and mouth watering fried rice we’ve ever had. It surprised both of us since we don’t normally think of fried rice as a main dish. We love coming here and eating everything on the menu. Will totally be back here whenever we need some Thai food.

I'm going to caveat this review by first saying Thep Thai is one of the best Thai restaurants in Fayetteville. That being said, I found it to be very decent overall...very middle of the road. The staff was fine...not super friendly, outgoing or generally warm but not rude or bad in any way. The food has been fine on all visits. The building has a decent atmosphere and they have a good adult beverage selection. I know this review is probably too indifferent to be helpful for most people but let me stress that there are much better options in Northwest Arkansas just a short drive north.

I had the green curry and it was delicious. It was just the right level of spicy, the vegetables were well cooked, and it tasted great. The staff were all helpful without hovering and the prices were reasonable. I'm looking forward to going back and trying something else!

Very bad customer service. Staff does not speak English and our orders were wrong twice- after deciding to just send the dish back after waiting we were still charged for the uneaten and unwanted dish. They treat customers with poor respect and dirty looks along with poor wait staff. We have loved this place and are very disappointed with the new management... will not be coming back and would not recommend under new circumstances...

They grow their own herbs and spices at the restaurant so you know it will always taste fresh and delicious. The food here is wonderful! The portion sizes are large, I always leave with enough left for another small meal. And, although the menu does not contain the option to customize the spice on your curry, they were more than happy to do so when I asked. I got the yellow curry with cashews and potatoes and they added a little more spice; it was perfect! And my kids loved the sweet and sour chicken!

I've been to most Thai restaurants in NWA, and this place is the best of them. Appetisers I haven't seen anywhere else, the vegetables are all cooked to perfection, and the spice levels are just right. Surprisingly low price given the high quality. The decor is also comfy and kinda homey.

Ordered pad Tai... It arrived and smelled like pig maneur. I tried it, it tasted even worse. Rotten, off. I told our server the problem and sent it back, she offered to make it again and I declined due to it the fact it'd just come out the same. I figured I would not be charged for said dish, I was wrong. Suddenly no could speak English at this point. Much better Tai places out there, keep going.

Amazing explosive flavors coupled with a peaceful environment in a handcrafted building, crafted with as much care as your meal. I recommend the Chicken Pad Thai and the egg rolls. I've been a customer here for nearly 8 years and it's only gotten better with time. I really like just about everything. My one complaint is that sometimes my carryout is so hot it melts the styrofoam. I'm not a big fan of eating plastic. There's no problems with their sit down service. The Wait staff is friendly and informative. The food is fresh and made fast. They also have a nice little patio next to the front garden. A great place for a relaxing weekend lunch.

Ordered the duck curry. I am disappointed that this dish costed $11.50 and had only 4 chicken nugget sized slice of what is supposed to be duck meat, or possibly guineas meat. The rest was just vegetables. The taste was mediocre at best. A can of curry mixed with vegetables and some kind of mystery meat would have tasted better. Don't even bother with all the good reviews, half the people have no idea what there even eating.

They were very busy at 12:30, but had some outside seating. Ordered the crab Rangoon, spring rolls and red curry. I was hesitant because you can't customize the curry spice, but they had it just right. About a spice of 2-3 at other Thai restaurants. The crab Rangoon were delicious, not greasy, and filled with creamy crab. We weren't a fan of the spring rolls, but the curry was excellent. You get soup and an egg roll with lunch specials, which makes it very fair priced. They kept the tables cleared as we ate, and service was excellent. The little man walking around waiting on people was so pleasant. Be prepared that no card can be used on totals under $10. Would definitely be worth a stop. Yum!

Traditional actual Thai folk run this restaurant. They have fast service, and delicious food. Excellent traditional decorating. They also have outdoor seating available. Good appetizer selection. Absolutely worth a trip to the south side of town.

I had high hopes of this place, and was heartened by the sight of fresh basil and chilis growing outside. Unfortunately, found the food itself mediocre. My entree was salty and one-dimensional; none of the bright contrasting flavors I associate with Thai cooking. While I love heat, my partner does not enjoy anything above a typical "2" at Thai places --- and his Panang shrimp curry, listed as "mild" , was too fiery to eat. There is no vegetarian section on the menu; there is no brown rice option; edamame overcooked. Service was friendly, if a little brusque. Maybe I just caught them on an off night, but will not be back.

Loved the outdoor vegetable garden, it was amazing to see how much they were growing for use in the restaurant. The chunky wood furniture added to our authentic experience and the patio seating looked really great under the bamboo mats and fans. We enjoyed yellow curry, the red pork is amazing, good chicken & shrimp pad Thai and crispy thai spring rolls. Would pass on the banana rolls next time. Can’t wait to try more on the menu, very yummy!!

WoW..... The food is very well prepared. ... and I am very picky. Hot, fresh. Very tasty. Well presented. Great portion size. Especially if you are hungry. I tried this restaurant through the app Postmates, & I am so very glad I did!! Not only were the prices beyond great, but the food was phenomenal! The Spring rolls with basil (I think they were $4.95 for 2 very large rolls) were so fresh and delicious and came with a peanut sauce that complimented them nicely. I ordered the red pork pad thai (I believe it was $9.95), and it was also super great, & the portion was very generous! I also ordered the green curry chicken with steamed rice (around $10). The flavors were so rich, the chicken and vegetables and overall portioning were generous, the spiciness was as anticipated (I ordered as it is on the menu), and I couldn't be more pleased!! I was able to add an egg roll at the last minute for a $1, & that was also delicious. It came with a sweet & spicy thai sauce. Another thing that really impressed me was that they didn't use styrofoam in their containers. I appreciate the efforts made in saving our environment from that stuff :) I can't say how very glad I am that I gave them a chance! I will most certainly be ordering from them more often and encouraging others to do so as well!!

I have taken friends and students here several times. It's the best Thai food in Fayetteville in my opinion. The service is great, the food is wonderful and I have never been disappointed. I really appreciate that it is open on Sunday also. Yesterday 3 of my massage students and I tried 4 different curries so we would taste each one. They were all great. I would be hard pressed to decide which I liked the best. Thep Thai, also grows some of their own herbs and veggies right on site and I love the garden atmosphere during the summer.

I used to love this place, the food was great and the employees were always really nice. The food is fine, but they’ve become pretty bitter. Maybe people try to pretend there’s something wrong with their food to get a free meal, I don’t know. I didn’t ask for any spicy in my food but my food was on fire, like my mouth was hurting. I’ve been coming here for years, I frequently get spice in my food, but this was way hotter than I’ve ever had. I hate complaining about anything because I know people work hard and I was going to try to eat it but it was just too much. So I called them and told them this and they said they didn’t put any spice in it, even though I can feel it in my mouth. But they agreed to make me a new one. When I got there they continued to insist that they didn’t put any spice in it. I don’t get why the kept denying it, it’s not a big deal, everybody makes mistakes and they were making me a new one. Then they told me that they left the bell peppers out in case that’s what was too spicy... are you serious? Bell peppers are not spicy at all. They were being sarcastic with me and rude. I just don’t understand why they were being like this towards me. Terrible customer service.

I've been eating here for years, and will not be back again. I got a to go order, and the man at the counter was hateful when he took my order by phone. When i came to get it, he took my money, then watched me sit waiting for fifteen minutes. I got up to check on my order, and he contemptuously said it had been sitting on the counter the whole time. It was cold, and the dumplings tasted uncooked and chalky.

A great place for Thai food. The food is excelent and the place is pretty nice. It looks like they make a lot of their own furniture, and there is an outside patio/garden area they are working on as well as a garden where they grow some of their own vegetables. It is usually quiet and the staff has always been nice. I would suggest trying the sweet tea because it seems to have some honey in it that adds a good flavor.
