REVIEWS OF The Pancake Shop IN Arkansas

Stopped in here for breakfast while staying at the Arlington Hotel, it’s about 2 minute walk from the hotel. It was packed however we were seated promptly. My wife had 2 egg breakfast with bacon and one blueberry pancake; the pancake was delicious and I don’t care for pancakes. I had 3 eggs over medium with bacon, eggs cooked correctly and bacon was good and crisp, no hash browns or potatoes, so keep that in mind. Service was excellent. It’s expensive for 2 at $26, overall it’s a typical breakfast with a great tasting pancake

Tiffany Robbins

These guys have the BEST pancakes. And the BEST bacon. I could eat here every day. That would not be healthy but I would be very happy!

Katie Green

Cutest little cafe. Food is good, apple butter is amazing. Staff was very friendly. Definitely worth a stop!

Trucker DeadPool

Never eaten there every day this week while I'm off the road in between jobs. You better get here first thing in the morning or you have to wait

Geethanjali Ravi

The place is very busy during weekend breakfast hours. We had a short wait but it was totally worth it. The food is fresh, filling and absolutely delicious. The butter and jam were so good! The 'homemade' maple syrup tasted amazing as well.

Wayne Carey

This was our favorite restaurant of the entire trip. Our only regret was eating there only one time. The Apple Butter for your toast was very delicious. The coffee was perfect, too! The restaurant is not fancy in the least bit as a matter of fact, it’s a 60’s diner with an old world feel with absolutely delicious food!

Andy Hemphill

Best breakfast in Hot Springs. I love their buckwheat pancakes (buttermilk pancakes are also good), grits. They make their own sausage, syrup and apple butter - all excellent. Ambiance is hometown diner, full of both locals and tourists. But come early, they close at 12:45.

Stephanie Parker

Food was really good and our waiter Robrrt wss vrry good slso. Price was a little expensive.

Sue Peters

Such yumminess in an old fashioned diner!

John McKinzie

very nice breakfast nook! Love the rye bread with apple butter!

Earlese LaFrance

Robert, ROBERTO was amazing! Wait not long on the waiting list. Coffee complimentary next door. Fresh Hot delicious HOMEMADE COUNTRY COOKED GOODNESS! First visit, not the last!

Diane Watson

Loved the pancakes and great service

Jennifer Bost

Great diner feel, quick service. Buckwheat pancake was fabulous.

Ray Vincent

This is a great little place to find breakfast. The pancakes are big and quite yummy.

Brett Denehan

This is such a great breakfast spot in Hot Springs. The pancakes were phenomenal and the omlettes were just as good. This is a must stop spot for anyone in there area.

Anthony Lafitte

We arrived during a rush and still got seated in a reasonable time. It was a blast from the past.

Caden Beam

This was a very convenient place located on Central Ave. The food was so good. The pancakes were fluffy and soft. The waitress was so nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend coming here for breakfast in Hot Springs.

Everett Casey

Great food, good service, disorganized, small table and sorry but overpriced. We arrived at 11:45 on Saturday and it was packed. It appeared that 2 families were ahead of us. They were very polite and let us know we could wait next door where there was complementary coffee. They told us they would come get us when it was our turn. We walked next door to find only a small specialty shop with a small coffee pot and styrofoam cups. Hey never critize something if it is free, but since there were encouraging us to wait next door I thought there would be seating. My wife did buy some items from the gift shop while we waited. Nobody ever came to get us so finally walked back next door to find them seating a family that had come in after us. It seemed they had forgotten about us, but we were seated right away so no big deal. There seating system was disorganized. We sat down and the table was very small. I read in several reviews about the small tables and they were right. We were a party of four. This table would accommodate two with more than enough room but four was packed. FYI there are NO POTATOES OR BISCUITS on menu. They talk about how the meats are locally farmed. My guess is they are Petit Jean products. The food was GREAT. I will say one more time that all four of us enjoyed everything we ordered. The lady who took care of us was very nice and made sure we were well taken care of. There were four of us and we each ordered either one or two pancakes with two eggs and bacon. Our drinks were one soft drink, one tea and one orange juice. The ticket was $65 before tip. I’ll let each of you decide but I thought that is a bit much for pancakes, eggs & bacon. I will add one note. It is better to get good food and pay more than expected as to get terrible food and it be free. Bottom line is “The Pancake Shop” is a very unique restaurant that you must try at least one time if you are a pancake lover.

Ann

The omelette, bacon, and sausage are DELICIOUS!! Pancakes were a real disappointment... especially to have the name Pancake Shop. I expected more for the pancake. Didn’t taste good at all, but I will definitely go back for the other stuff!!!

Hope Wills

OMG. This place has the best breakfast food!! We got the French toast, bacon and eggs, coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice is their default. We are in Hot Springs, Arkansas and stayed in the Arlington Hotel which was great since it was right across the street!! Great food, great service. Just overall good experience. Must be a favorite with the locals as a few people came in and everyone knew everyone.

Linda Hemphill

The best pancakes and sausage in town. Amazing! Throwback to the past. Has not changed in decades.

Brandi Henderson

Amazing food, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere. Plan to wait when you go though. It's totally worth it!

Caleb Adair

A must if you find yourself in downtown hot springs early enough for breakfast. The pancakes are more than worth the wait!

Evelyn Wathen

Horrible place. Awkward atmosphere, demanding waiters and not very good food. We could even hear the cooks talking bad about us! The only upside was the cashere lady, who was the ONLY polite one there

Gary Childers

Great place, scrambled eggs and onions a pancake

Dee Thornton

Has the best coffee in town hands down. I really just love this little place, it's so nostalgic. You can't help but feel cozy with the warmth of watching locals & visitors eat, drink, & share conversation. The waitresses bring refills on coffee non stop . A couple of dishes of apple butter & jelly are brought to your table for your toast which by the way comes in three choices, white, thick wheat or rye. The scrambled eggs with chunks of ham is my favorite but the blue berry or buckwheat pancakes are always a treat too. Enjoy

Krista Calhoun

Reminds me of cafes from my childhood. We had a small wait but you can visit their shop next door until your table is ready. The portions were way more than I could possibly eat. Their ham was fantastic.

SkyFox 2009

I really can't give a proper review because this placed was closed for renovations on the day I went, Feb 23 2019. Not sure how there are reviews two or the days ago when this restaurant is closed. Hopefully next time I am in town I will be able to visit and give a proper review.

Cathy Howell

The food was good but Jennifer the waitress was fantastic. When she told us that the sausage was farm to table I was excited that I might be able to have some. I can't eat meat with sodium nitrates. I decided to give it a go and ordered it. Soon Jennifer came back. She had gone and read the ingredients on the sausage and was happy to let us know that it was free of nitrates. How kind. I would definitely go back next time I'm in Hot Springs. Thank you Jennifer

Samantha Lamers

Stopped early in the morning just after opening. Friendly staff, excellent service. Great crispy/fluffy pancakes (I recommend the buckwheat blueberry), great bottomless coffee, excellent sausage patties and plenty of fresh cream, butter and jam at your disposal. You may pay a couple extra bucks, but I think the quality of the food and service we received made it worth it.

Monika Harjo

Very good, fresh squeezed orange juice e, pancakes w fresh fruit in them, overall pleasantly surprised, would definitely recommend this

Sarah Henson

Great food, great service and everything is fresh. My favorite place in Hot Springs!

Paul Brockman

Great food.

Aaliyah S

We were here on a Saturday morning and there was a full house with a line up and down the street. The wait wasn't very long surprisingly! The staff was extremely friendly. The apple grape jelly was amazing! I tried to buy some to take home. The maple syrup for the pancakes was heavenly. The ham steak was savory and my husband bought the apple butter for home. We are here for 2 more days and we know where we will have breakfast!

DeAnne D.

Y'all, there's a reason this place has been open since the dawn of time. It. Is. So. Good. But get there early, cause come lunchtime, they are closed. Buckwheat pancakes, regular pancakes, scrambles, coffee cake, coffee and fresh fruit. Nothing we tried was bad. We had breakfast there every morning because we wanted to try all the things, and they were all universally great. They also have a little gourmet shop next door with an extensive selection of ingredients and concoctions.

Alana Lambert

I am a very picky eater and I’m in love with this place. Coming from Little Rock there is nothing like this breakfast shop. I had a spa day planned today for my bf birthday and I decided to stop for breakfast. I had pancakes, omelets, and toast. The jelly was great, the toast was great, the orange juice was authentic and homemade tasting, what can I say everything was great. The water was great. Service? PHENOMENAL. The hostess gave me a nice clean jacket because it was a little cold in there. They even sang happy birthday to his grown a$$. Thank you for making my boyfriends birthday a successful morning!!

Daniel de Leng

Their French toast is deep-fried bread which soaks up all of the grease, and is served with butter on the side. Absolutely horrible. Felt sick for two days and I didn't even finish my meal. Staff seems to think that's because it's 'too sweet for some'. Since when is a plate of grease sweet? Will never eat here again.

send it

The food was yummy! Service was super nice and quick. The small ham was nearly as large as the plate. The pancakes were as big as the plate.

Kelli Humphrey

Perfect, melt in your mouth pancakes with quick and friendly service! Everything I've tried here was delicious. The sausage is locally sourced and fantastic. There is a little bit of a wait because it's a popular spot, but it's popular for a good reason. You can go to the awesome shop full of fantastic food items next door (foodie paradise/danger zone) and they will come get you. I recommend the apple pancakes and the banana pancakes. Astonishingly good.

ROBERT MARSH

Great food great service!

Ms jeff

Very overcrowded all the time!! They also close at 12:45pm which is bad for tourists who go to Hot Springs.

Jessica Moody

Food was amazing! Staff was super friendly! Everything came out together and promptly!

Dalton Barron

Best pancakes I've had. The apple pancakes are amazing. You don't even need syrup. Being downtown, it usually stays very busy. You might have to wait a while to get your pancakes. The only negative review I have is that they don't have hash browns on the menu. Hash browns would be a great addition to the menu.

Su-Lauren Wilson

I just love how comfy and delicious this place is.

Chelsea Henderson

Hot Springs staple! I recommend the buckwheat pancakes.

Cathy Chavarria

Expect a brief wait to be seated. We got to try some tasty samples from the specialty gourmet store while waiting. Good breakfast and the in house made sausage was delicious.

Cam Krueger

Drown me in thier applebutter and I would die happy. A little tough to get into but they have free samples and coffee next door while you wait for a table. If you want well executed diner food then it's worth it.

Eugene Brown Sr

Love it big plate

Kellena Crippen

The pancakes here are perhaps the fluffiest I have ever had, and each one the size of a dinner plate it definitely gave us a fix for pancake cravings. However, being a tourist area, the prices were shocking, specifically for any meats (we were told the sausage is hand made in-house, however the price was simply too outrageous for us to try. The bacon was thick sliced and delicious, but for 4 slices it was the price of a non-tourist restaurant's full course breakfast). There is no French toast on the menu, there are however omelette which were average (if overpriced)

Brandt Keckler

Great place in hot springs. Homemade everything. Get tje pancakes.

Tori Bussell

My husband and I are in Hot Springs for our first anniversary. We ate here as soon as we drove into town. It was really busy but we got to check out the neat store next door while we waited for a table. The food was pretty good but the wait staff wasn’t the most friendly. The general manager was there and she was super nice!

Michael Calhoun

Really loved it. Service was great and the food is excellent. Reasonably priced also to be where it is located. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because they seemed to be having some issues with some of the staff and there was some bickering going on for a couple of minutes when we first arrived that could have been handled behind the scenes.

Jae

Saturday we arrived at 8:45 and the people were already standing outside waiting, so we had heard good things and therefore we came back Sunday at 6 am. Opening time. We were the first. We Had 2 eggs each , ( both ordered med over easy, my husband's was right, mine was not done. 1 plate came with ham steak,(we ask for small, but he got large the waitress didn't get it right)and 1 played with 4 bacon (large and perfectly cooked)and 1 banana pancake ( large but just ok) 2 tiny water glasses Nothing to rave about but only restaurant we saw open for breakfast. The waitresses were friendly once "they had some coffee " . One bristled when I requested a refill of water. She was busy putting butter in cups. I wouldn't go back. Around 23$

Paula Elliott

Great blue plate diner type of place! Opens earlier than other breakfast places on bathhouse row. Fried ham and eggs, biscuits and hot coffee served promptly and with a smile! Waitresses there are like well oiled machinery!

Laura Jones

Coffee is not as good as everyone says but the food was great. Took a while to get seated but they have a great partnership with the shop next door with coffee and samples.

Nina Mitchell

Great food. Then portions are huge. All food is fresh and produced locally.

Phi Tang

I started with the 2 eggs and sausage patty and a blue berry pancake. The eggs were cooked as I liked it, over easy, and the sausage patties were some of the best I’ve ever had. They are made from local caddle and you can tell from tasting it. The pancakes were a joy to eat, I found myself wanted to continue despite being full from the large portions. Also, the meal came with 2 pieces of huge toast. I ate them with apple butter and fell in love. Overall, busy is the only con and the food is amazing.

J Kru

Came for breakfast around 9am on a Monday and it was fairly busy but no waiting. I ordered a sausage and cheese omelet with toast. A side of sausage was also ordered and be warned, it was a lot! Everything we had was fantastic and the service was great. Our waitress was Jennifer and she was genuinely friendly. She went out of her way to check ingredients for me due to restriction I have. Great place to dine alone or with family / kids and noise was moderate.

Trent Otts

Jam packed when I went. It's not a deal breaker, but their seating policy is very unorthodox. They won't seat you until your whole party is present. They wouldn't even add you to the list waiting for the next table until 100% of your party was present. Just strange.

Lala S

Great food and service...coffee was not thay great

Karessa Griffin

Good and service were awesome

Jordan Berryhill

Amazing little breakfast diner right in the middle of Hot Springs. Delcious, locally sourced food, with outrageous portions and great pricing. Staff was very friendly and the coffee was just what we needed. This is THE breakfast spot here.

donny simpson

Quick service even with a full house and a waiting line. Food was good , selection was ok but no biscuits and gravy. And I don't need instructions on how to eat a pancake. Really. I can eat a pancake without a server telling me how.

Jennifer Phenicie

There was an hour wait (it was Labor Day weekend). The staff was friendly. The menu is not extensive, but the food they have is done well. The pancakes were delicious, the bacon was cooked well, and the omelette was amazing with pieces of real bacon sprinkled throughout.

Alan Melton

This a must eat at if in Hot Springs. Food was great unless you want grits or with what they gave me grit soup. There is always a line but they have a store next door for you to wait in with free coffee

Rusty Jacoba

Wonderful breakfast...the banana pancake was delicious and the best sausage ever!

Kit House

Very satisfying. Affordable. Great service. Comfort food, comfortable atmosphere. Everything tastes like it came from a market, not a factory.

P.D. Suitt

Pretty good food, but overpriced.

bernie magee

This place is the bomb. Fifties decor makes it homey and service wonderful. They make their on breakfast sausage and buck wheat pancakes. EVERYTHING was good.

Joey Beavers

Food was very good. Pancakes are very big, so bring your appetite. Get there early because it fills up quickly

Tim Piland

This place is the Bomb. Great pancakes wonderful sausage and the staff are wonderful. Get there early as possible because there is usually a line out the door and down the sidewalk, but believe me, it's worth the wait. Had the banana pancakes. Just amazing. I go here every time I'm in Hot Springs. Love it so much.

Marla Bridges

My pancake was not firm in fact it was mushy. The local sausage was actually like a mixture of ground beef and sausage although the portion was large. The coffee was good. One worker was complaining about having to clean the walls. Overpriced

kelly crenshaw

Great downtown Hot Springs joint. It has the feel of an old time diner. They get you in and out quick. Good is very good

Dan Walsh

Good little place on the strip. We chose here for breakfast since we could see it from our hotel The Arlington. Small dining room so be prepared to wait for a bit. We had a party of 8 that we could split into 4s, but had to wait 45 min at least. Once we were in there though the food was GOOD! Went in for pancakes, but was talked into the French toast when the waitress said they were deep fried and covered in powdered sugar! Sausage patties were big and made local. Coffee was good also. Tasted the pancakes at the table and they were all fresh tasting. The apple butter they bring to the table is awesome. If you have time, and could possible wait, try this place.

Jeffery Lowery

Great place to eat the building was great like walking back in time to a local diner. The staff was also the best lots of information about the area and where to visit while in town. Our waitress was the best you must try the Pancakes of course and stop next door to pick up some of there apple butter to take home you won't be disappointed.

Doug Wadley

Always a great place to stop in and have some pancakes, make sure you try the sausage patties also they are from local area.

Heather Renee Allen

Absolutely fabulous breakfast!!!! Robert was just wonderful and so where the pancakes sausage bacon and eggs !

Sophia N

The Pancake Shop is so, so good. The sausage, bacon, grits, and apple butter are my favorites to get. The place has been packed both times I’ve visited, so be patient. Try to go early in the morning than later on. The staff is friendly and fast. This is the go to breakfast place in Hot Springs.

Laura Hovis

The oatmeal was terrible, coffee was awful, the three egg omelet must have been pigeon eggs. The prices are ridiculous, total ripoff!

Paula Scales

I had the best banana pancake and locally made saugage and my husband had the half order of French toast and small order of center cut ham. The food portions are VERY generous and the prices are very reasonable for the amount of food served. The wait for a table can be long so get there early. It was definitely worth the wait!

Dianne Montgomery Hocut

Love this place where the pancakes are always perfect and the service is impeccable. Old fashioned menu with the basics. Eggs always cooked perfectly. Fresh fruit is abundant. Delicious coffee served in a cup and saucer is just one of the special details that make this place a must visit if you’re ever in Hot Springs. Try the oh so fluffy Scrambled Eggs and Grilled Iniins, yummy!

Jolie Moore

Eggs, bacon, sausage and ham were great. Pancakes were cooked all the way, but did not taste like it, which is sad for a place called The Pancake Shop. We got there at 8am and they were already out of biscuits, gravy and potatoes. The large drink wasn’t very large, however, the fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious. There is no serving size for one on the ham steak - the small can serve up to 4 people... the normal could probably feed 8 from what we were told about the size of it. Other than that, we did receive good, friendly service from Jayne.

Nathan Crossman

My wife and I ate here two days in a row when we visited Hot Springs more than a year ago. We are still talking about it! They served the best French toast I’ve ever had. There might be a long wait but it is absolutely worth it. While you wait, you can hang out at their store which is right next door.

Quad Squad

Awesome food and while I was there met Chad Morris so bonus

Gary Carter

Fan-damn-tastic! Great breakfast. I will be back! The omelet was perfect and the pancakes were fluffy.

Dave Barrett

Lucked into best breakfast place in Hot Springs. Old time diner atmosphere, great food and service, your coffee cup won't hit bottom. Like the sign says try the OJ you won't be disappointed. The apple butter is really good as well.

Kyle Landrum

Best breakfast in Hot Springs. I've been coming here since I was a kid! Great memories and always the best food.

Rick Kinney

Great breakfast! You'll leave full

James Williams

This blueberry buckwheat pancake was soooo good! All of our food was and the coffee was really good, too. The staff is very attentive and helpful. You get a small-town, cozy vibe the minute you walk in and are made to feel right at home. This is a great breakfast spot in Hot Springs!

Stephen Gates

Great breakfast. Good price. Busy place.

Jerry Rogers

We make it a point to visit the Pancake shop ever chance we get. Fantastic food, even better service.

Rachel Carlson

Great breakfast spot. Their freshed squeezed OJ is wonderful, along with the sausage. You are, however, seated close to other tables and guests. Would not recommend for large groups. Otherwise, enjoy the experience!

Kathy Lynn

This little place was a perfect place to go while on vacation in the area. The waitresses were really personable. They explained their meals and the meat that they used was local. It was a very good experience.

Joseph

Great place. Great staff and great food.

Brian Kelly

Excellent customer service

Amanda Mitchell

Great food, amazing service. THANK YOU Jayne for a great morning

Mark Tate

Good food and service

James Bond

Worth the wait. Incredible food and outstanding value. Waitstaff is friendly and extremely efficient. Omelets are just what the doctor ordered. Make sure to visit the Savory Pantry after breakfast. 11/10!

Richard Herman

Fast pace food was good nothing special small place have to wait for a table about ten to twenty min.

Marie Sustaita

Excellent breakfast and coffee.

kelly c

Go. All I can say. Friendly people, great food.

Amy Walker

Best pancakes I've ever had!

tramuzz dream

Really good breakfast, but the cheddar was a bit strong for my taste.

Michael Anderson

A well oiled machine of deliciousness. The service was prompt, I was seated right away and my server was with me immediately. It was a busy morning, but this place makes efficiency an artform. I had my check me moments after my food arrived, and they had my table bussed before I could even finish paying. Most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious. The fresh OJ and banana pancake were to die for and the egg special and toast was quite tasty too. Bottom line, if this place looks busy, don't worry: it's for a good reason and they will have you in faster than you think.

LANE TV

Great place. It's a tradition in our family.

Beverly Clark

We got two pancakes and two pieces of sausage. One each would have been enough. But it was delicious!

Nancy Livell

The sausage patty I had was amazing. Wonderful flavor! I had a regular pancake as well, and I have to say I’ve had much better pancakes in my life. Taste wise it wasn’t how I like them. The coffee was good though too. While we were eating, my husband and I saw something from the corners of our eyes crawling on the floor. It was a huge cockroach! At least two inches huge! My husband got a little embarrassed when I leaped up from the table and smashed the guts out of him. I was trying not to cause a scene, but I did not want some cockroach crawling up my leg while eating breakfast and he was getting close!

Matt Robinson

Amazing pancakes!!! Their breakfast sausage and apple butter are homemade and are so good I teared up a bit. Also, you can buy them at the shop next door!

Max McGill

try it, you'll like it. high quality local meats and homemade apple butter and jelly. plate sized pancakes so be careful how many you order. one for kids, 2 for hungry adults, 3 only if you're starving. best place in town for breakfast.

LeAnn Jackson

Y’all - Amazing experience from the vintage restaurant “stoneware” to the fresh squeezed orange juice. They still come around every 5 minutes with coffee! Be sure to have the sausage! My papaw used to make it and I haven’t had sausage that good in YEARS! You can go next door and buy some to take home! Be sure you try the apple butter! Best breakfast we’ve had in a very long g time!!

Harmony Paige

The food was delicious! Got the blueberry pancakes and sausage that is homemade. The staff is so nice and everything came very quickly. It was pretty packed but we got a seat within about 5 minutes. Would reccomend for breakfast any time of day!

Catherine Youmans

So fun! So delicious! So good! It's a busy place so we had to wait but it was well worth it

Keith Watson

My party of 4 waited for close to 30 minutes and although their breakfast meats were very good, the main attraction, pancakes, were not all that great. I can make better and plan to before I visit again. As any place in Hot Springs downtown parking was a nightmare.

Jannie Venter

Delicious pancakes and Ham steak for breakfast. Real good coffee. Service top notch and very friendly

Infoexpert X

Superb home made pancakes and lovely staff. The favourite place in town ( so go early) and rightly so. If you are in a 100 mile radius this is THE place to breafast.

Jay Nowlin

First time there and was warmly greeted at the door. Very prompt service. Food was wonderful and portions were perfect. Make it a must stop while in Hot Springs.

W Chloe

HORRIBLE!!! Food was just okay but a server ruined our breakfast time. She was so rude. I won't waste of my time here.

Reed Storey

Great service and amazing food. Everyone is there to please.

Brenda George

Always delicious a little wait but always worth it..

Stover Clinic

The best breakfast and service

Hannah Lee Ward

This place is busy and for good reason! Charming pancake shop, bustling with crowds ready to get out on the lake. The sausage omelet and buckwheat blueberry pancakes were fantastic. Service was on point. Definitely recommend if you like a hearty, homemade breakfast.

Rachel Edgren

Oh my goodness. Such a fun and delicious diner styled breakfast place! We got eggs, sausage, and blueberry pancakes (which were huge!) everything was amazing!! My husband said he would eat there every morning

Emily Joy

The Pancake House is a fantastic place to eat. The pancakes were fluffy, the bacon was very tasty, and the atmosphere was amazing. They almost make you feel good about yourself for being there even though you are scarfing down sugar and carbs. I am grateful for the owner and her generosity to fight for customers. There was a police woman about to write a ticket when the owner ran outside and yelled, “wait! Wait! The owners of the car is in here! Hang on just a sec!” The owners ran out to greet the officer and apologized for their parking job. The owner saved them a ticket and offered the officer a place to sit for a second with some coffee. So so sweet. My husband and I will be coming back. I can promise you that.

Andrew Boggus

Great food but a lil over peiced..

GET LANE Tv

The absolute must stop breakfast on bath house row. You may have to wait a little while on the weekend but what else you got to do get up early have some fun enjoy your time in the spa city y'all come back now you here

72hotrod

Excellent breakfast! Service was very good.

Bonnie Spalding

My sister and I walked in not knowing what to expect, but boy were we glad! They make some of the best pancakes out there. I had the buckwheat blueberry pancakes, Marie had the plain ole pancakes. Both were a short stack. We had bacon, coffee, water. The waiter told us,”hot, now cut a hole in the middle so the syrup don’t run in your lap. First time for me. But ok. These pancakes were so hot, so good I wanted more. I’ll eat there again, and again. The service was great, they all were friendly, and the price was right. The cleanness of the place was good, but they had a lot of foot traffic. But boy, if you go, you’ll go agai. Enjoy, I know I did.

derek dudash

Good local hometown feel to the restaurant. Food was good service was decent. My coffee never went empty! Got an omelette toast coffee and orange juice for $14. Good place to start the morning. Portions could be better but still worth the money.

Antwane Wilkerson

Honestly one of the best breakfasts I've had in my life. You'll definitely leave satisfied.

Ashley Slyter

Higher prices but good quality and fast friendly service.

Lou C.

Really great food... Very charming environment...

Sara Barrett

This fabulous breakfast spot is like taking a step back in time. Very much a diner, with excellent service and hardly any wait time at all. Everything is old school, from the chairs to the farm-to-table sausage. Excellent, excellent, excellent. When your 9-year-old asks to go two days in a row, you know it's a win. Note: the old school feel is authentic, not made-to-look-old school.

Kevin Adamik

Arrived Sunday morning at 8:50. Got seated at 9:37. The food was pretty good but not worth the 47 minute wait outside with nowhere to sit. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if there is a wait.

Kathleen Tinajero

Pancakes were delicious, easy simple menu. There was a wait but recommend for you to wait and try them for yourself.

Dalia Lavender

Great food n service!

Sean Bachiller

Its the cool little breakfast joint in the cool little town of Hot Springs. Friendly service, nice atmosphere. And decently priced.

Danny Smith

Very friendly upbeat workers and good food. And when your done eating savory pantry is right next door to grab that unique food gift

Russtina Green

We have been in several times for breakfast. We have always had a good experience. This morning was not as great as normal but we still enjoyed it. My husband's pancake was a little burnt . It is always busy but they get you seated within 15 mins.

Alan Spears

1st time visit. Had the staple of pancakes and sausage. Bother great and great server. I'll be back

John Calaway

First of all...the food was great. That was probably the best breakfast sausage I had ever had in a restaurant. The pancakes were great...and the price was very fair. The ladies were very nice. However...the reason I am going back is because I saw the owner, a very nice lady, allow a homeless person to eat without losing their pride. She let him say that he would pay tomorrow and she said that would be just fine. I believe the man was a vet. When I checked out I offered to pay his tab but she declined and said she has an envelope with donations to cover these situations. Needless to say, I made a donation and when I go back to Hot Springs...I will eat here and make another donation. God is good and this lady deserves her crown! Please support this establishment!

James Hood

It's very popular to the tourists. So you'll probably have to wait a long time for a table.

Cool place to get breakfast. OJ is hand squeezed daily. Food was amazing. Better get there early because they are BUSY but they work to get you in and fed. My family enjoyed the food here.

Best Pancakes and Sausage in Arkansas! Try the buckwheat with blueberries!#Heaven on a plate on Earth

Must tell you that the space is tight in there. They are crowding us in as best they can, and doing a good job of it. Waited a bit, and a bit more. Then a couple were seated to my left (his right) and we started to visit. Come to find out they are regulars, and this breakfast out is a weekly treat. They called over the waiter and asked him to serve us before them. How kind. We received the water, the coffee, and we continued to discuss the menu while visiting with the neighbors (military transplants to Hot Springs by way of California). Finally the waiter came back over, and we ordered. I ask about the size of the buckwheat pancakes, and am told they cover the plate. Good to know. Scrambled eggs with onions for me, with one pancake + more coffee please. I orders one of the breakfast platters - eggs sunny side up - hard, toast, ham steak (local meats), bacon. He's gonna give them a run for their money + a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice. Breakfast arrives on plain ole white café plates, which totally goes with the ambiance. The scrambled eggs with onions don't look like anything special, but boy one taste and I was like "SOLD." Not sure what it was, but it was good. There was an apple spread (butter) to use on the pancake, of which I used. The husband's plate was loaded down with food, the ham steak was humongous. I mean you could cut it in half and take half home for lunch (ham sandwich anyone?) or share with your breakfast partner. Good food. Plenty food. There is no reason for you to walk away from this place and still be hungry.

Amazing stop for breakfast. Try out everything. Eggs, blueberry pancakes, banana pancakes, sausage, coffee cake were all tasty, flavorful and filling. Apple butter and grape apple jelly were very good on there toast. Visited twice and would eat here again next time I'd pass through.
