Good service,atmospheri clean and friendly. My steaks were a little to well done. The veggies were great, my sweet potato had a taste of vinegar. I was offered another but I said no thanks so they gave me a desert to go. The experience was great and the sweet tea was wonderful. I will go back. Thanks

It was super great! My grilled steak salad was done to perfection. The ambiance was fun--funky. Service was just right. A real local restaurant, which added to the feel-good feelings. Oh, and the coconut cake was baked by "Mom". Delicious!

Ate there before and the chicken ranch pizza was good and service was excellent but ate there tonight and they were very busy and ac was out and it was hot which can’t be helped but after waiting a really long time after ordering, they informed us that they had ran out of baked potatoes and mashed potatoes would be served instead with the steak meal and I was very disappointed due to I like the baked potato more than the steak. Their steak meal is also skimpy with no type of bread at all served with it and the menu description says served with asparagus and VEGGIES, baked potato and salad but we got 2 asparagus spears and no VEGGIES other than the little serving of mashed potatoes and not even a roll. The steak was seasoned well and tasted good but was disappointed no baked potato, bread, or additional side vegetable as advertised. For 75 dollars for 2 steak meals, you expect a little more.

Absolutely love this place! If we lived closer it would be our go to restaurant! We were welcomed by Robbie at the door and she made us feel at home instantly. The menu is fantastic with something for everyone. The entire staff was amazing and so friendly. The story of Domino the Donkey is so cute you have to read it on the little card on the table. We had a queso, cheese dip on the menu, with salsa to start and it was fresh and tasty. I had chicken enchiladas and rice, my daughter had bean and cheese tacos and my wife had the cheese pizza. Everything came out fast and was very good. My only recommendation for improvement was the spanish rice. It was a little bland and would benefit from some cilantro or other spice. My daughter got a chocolate milkshake to take with us and it was also excellent. It was hand dipped, light and just the right amount of chocolate. We liked this place so much we even bought a t-shirt.

Found this great little restaurant while making our bi-annual cross country trip to North Carolina. Good choice of Mexican and American food. The medium size pizza will easily feed 3 people. The server was friendly and the manager came by to great us. Looks like many of the locals eat here as well which is means this place will last! Thank you for the full belly!

Fresh made to order entrees are big enough to share, but you won't want to. Vegetarian spinach quesadilla is loaded with fresh grilled veggies and a meal by itself. Homemade desserts are DEVINE! Worth 2 minute drive off highway. Family friendly.

Love the burger and the onion rings are awesome! Weekly lunch specials are always great. The guys on my shift at the Forrest City Fire Dept love the fresh salads and Philly Cheesesteaks too. Don’t ever miss the catfish plates. Best by far!

We just ate there at lunch today. It was a quick decision off the interstate. We like to find small hometown eateries. Three of us had burgers and fries and I had their grilled chicken salad which was great. They also bring nachos and salsa. And we got homemade chocolate chip cookies to go!

This is one of the best restaurants I have had the pleasure to go to. Stopped off the freeway because of the Crazy sign on the way to Virginia from Texas and was pleasantly surprised. The owners are so kind and personable, the staff courteous, and the food was the topping on the cake. I only wish I could give an extra star!!!

I just love coming to the donkey . Food is always spot on . The enchiladas are to die for and you cant go wrong with the sampler platter . The pizza is really good too even if you are not a pizza fan I'm sure you will love it . They have pretty much anything to suit your taste . So dont hesitate to try it. Oh my gosh! This was so good. Super close to I-40 in Arkansas. If you are going through totally worth the stop. The burgers were seasoned well, juicy and held together. The carne asada quesadilla was perfect. My brother said the ketchup was even yummy, husband loved the onion rings. It was so yummy my brother actually ignored his phone. If you knew him you would understand the significance of this statement. Lol

My server was absolutely great, i give the service a 10/10, but not the restaurant as a whole. I asked for info on some of the new items I have seen on the facebook page, and he was happy to oblige. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak, (typically what I get wherever I go since I travel a lot) he placed the order for me and I overheard the cook in the back cussing about having to make the sandwich, then when I received my sandwich it was made incorrectly with everything I asked him to leave off, again my server was happy to help fix the problem! Needless to say, the service is not the problem at this restaurant, seems more like a kitchen and management problem to me.

It was really busy. Our server took care of us and the manager stopped by to check on us too. My son was so excited to have a personal size pizza. My daughter loved the chicken fried rice. I just had cheese dip and salsa. The homemade desserts we're wonderful, coconut cake and chocolate chip cookies! We'll definitely return!

We saw The Crazy Donkey sign on the interstate and decided we had to try it! After you cross the train tracks continue straight, don't turn right! It will be shortly after the tracks on the left! Great chips and salsa(not too much cilantro for those who aren't a fan) lots of menu items and definitely not just Tex-Mex! I enjoyed the Farm Chicken, the veggies were deliciously grilled and the chicken was fantastic. Would have really loved to have had fresh mushrooms rather than canned, but the meal was still great! Steak quesadilla was also yummy! They serve sweet tea, the real kind! Service was awesome and a lady who seemed to be the owner even stopped by our table to chat with us about our travel plans and tell us about the miniature farm animals they have! They all have names starting with "D"! Domino is the crazy donkey! I would recommend anyone traveling through to stop in and support a local business! You won't regret it!

The Crazy Donkey is amazing. The staff is super welcoming and friendly. Waitress are personable and attentive. The atmosphere is very relaxed and rustic. The bathrooms are very clean. The food is simply scrumptious! Everything from the chips and salsa to the cheese dip to the chimichangas was absolutely amazing. If I lived around here I’d definitely be a regular. If you are anywhere near this place you must stop in and check it out.

I reviewed this place their opening week and it was great then. Now, almost 3 months later, it is still great. The food is still delicious, but they seem to have gotten better and faster at everything. This time I ordered an extra large steak pizza and a drink for $17.03 including tax. It was enough pizza to feed 4 adults. I got a to-go box :D

First kids ordered pizza, it was good flavor, but the crust undercooked. They said they may have an issue with their oven. So I couldn't really hold that against them. They replaced it with chicken and rice, it was excellent tasted like authentic Mexican Pollo Asado. My wife had some fried mushrooms, I don't eat mushrooms, she was very impressed with them. They were very good, accordingly. I had a steak, an excellent steak.it is rare that I go to a restaurant and get a steak that I'm actually impressed with. It was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, and seasoned perfection. An extreme rarity that I have one as good as I can make at home. Different flavor than I usually have at home, but just as excellent. Staff was extremely friendly, and the owner/manager was more than accommodating fixing the pizza mistake. I'm not from the area but I would highly recommend them.I'm glad I missed my previous exit and accidentally found this place. Will eat there again if I'm ever in the area. Which I kind of hope I am.

This is modern Tex-Mex restaurant that is as good as any trendy restaurant in Austin or Nashville. Our party had Chicken quesadillas that were loaded with cheese and vegetables with a delicious Mexican rice and black beans. We also had Enccheladas verde. Loved the sauce. Also had chicken with asparagus and a perfectl medley of grease squash and carrots. The sauce and chips were good but typical. What sets this place apart is the variety of dishes from greasy hamburgers, gourmet pizza, Italian dishes, steaks and the best desserts in Arkansas. I lived the coconut cake. It was light and the perfect amount of coconut. Worth kilking my diet for. Wish I had time to try the Pinapple cream pie, fried cheesecake, crazy Donkey cake and too many to mention. If you are on 40 west of Memphis traveling toward Little Rock this is worth getting off the interstate for. - Arline
