They can't get the drive-through mic to work for me here. I've tried multiple times. I am a teacher, and I don't get complaints from students about being hard to understand. I don't have a problem being understood at drive-thrus of other fast-food restaurants. I tried spelling out what I wanted, but the worker couldn't even figure that out. The owner said he fixed the order system, but the workers say he didn't. Time to take my business elsewhere for a while. Maybe a long while. I don't need that hassle.

They have good food, it's way different than taco bell if you're looking for a change. I wouldn't say I'm fond of the beef, it's a little on the chili tasting side instead of taco meat but if you're into it its decent. Potato oles and cheese sauce is life tho

Tiny $5.00 burrito and they forgot to include the cheese they charged me .79 cents for. I would not recommend this place if you are looking for value for your dollar. I would have rated higher if the taste was better, but a tiny good burrito does not beat a big great tasting burrito...I will not return.

Truly a special place. It's a local legend. Fast food at its best. Potato oles (crispy fried tater tots with a Mexican twist) with every combo. Jerome (the owner) runs a right ship. Always clean and fast. The only two Taco John's in Arkansas are located in Russ Vegas. The OG(Jerome's place) is the one on Arkansas Ave. Don't forget the super hot sauce!

This was my first time at this joint. I got the chicken street taco trio, four mexi rolls and a medium Dr. Pepper. The Dr. Pepper wasn’t flat, refreshing, the mexi rolls were okay. The ends were crispy but the rest of the roll was soggy and mushy with grease, bland flavor. The street taco trio was pretty good, which is why this got the 3 stars. There was a blend of cheese, tomato, lettuce and the chicken was tender and well-cooked. I’d eat this over Taco Bell, but I wouldn’t go here, again.

I hope this franchise gives back to the Hispanic/Latino community it is exploiting for its food, since they are being increasingly attacked by hate groups and immigration agencies unfairly, unlike white immigrants. Its only the decent thing to do to support them or give back to them in some way, since you've taken it upon yourself to steal their food, to put money in your pockets.

Went through the drive thru and ordered one combo and a quesadilla with a drink. Got my food and went home only to find that I only got my combo I ordered. I drove back over and I did not get a "we're sorry" or anything. They did nothing to go out of their way to make it right. A manager did not even speak to me. I will not be back!

I have never been to a Taco John's before this visit and I was very pleased with it! The employees seemed to take immediate notice of my slow chugging understanding of the menu and opted up for some customized order options which included Flaming Hot Cheetos, and Nacho Cheese mixed with your typical fast food style "Mexican" food. Taco Bell this is not, prepare for Old El Paso seasoned meat! Which is typically a victory when comparing to Taco Bell's less than reputable meat choices but I'm biased.
