I love coming to Sushi Cafe! I've been eating her with friends and family for around 10 years now, and the quality has never declined. The restaurant has a very calm, intimate atmosphere, and the staff are always patient and kind. This will forever be my favorite restaurant in town!

Good prices and great sushi! I don't like spicy salmon or tuna rolls where the fish is minced and mixed in with the spicy sauce. This place makes them perfectly with the fish, sauce, and crunchy pieces wrapped inside. So good. Would recommend.

This is a hide away treasure. (My favorite place to eat in Searcy. ) The sushi is great. Made fresh! I love the Bom roll! Give it a try if you can eat seafood. The building is just to-do. Mostly booths but has a few tables and chairs. This is the only negative. Give them a try!

Our waitress didn't know what Mountain Dew was. Sushi honestly wasn't to great. I got Fancy Dragon Roll and Bom Roll. The Bom Roll was okay, I didn't understand what was so fancy about the fancy dragon. Girlfiend order Teriyaki Chiken dinner. We received her soup about 5 minutes before given my sushi, then about 10 minutes after receiving my sushi she received her Teriyaki Chicken.... It wasnt what we were expecting, we were expecting fried chicken, but it was grilled. We accepted the fact that we accidently ordered what we did and continued to eat. The grilled Teriyaki Chicken was basically tastless and had no flavor at all. To sum up everything, we had a bad waitress to start, sushi wasnt to great, sushi was over priced, teriyaki chicken was flavorless, and we recieved out food all at separate times, so it made the date pretty bad.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would! We came in last week, at opening. I almost gagged on the smell of bug spray and garbage. I brushed it off, blaming it on them not turning the a/c on overnight or something. It took about 20 minutes for the smell to go away. We ordered, and waited. 3 more people came in, and they were served before us despite seating after. That was understandable. When we got the food it was.. Less than satisfactory. Small helping of steak on every plate, with enough rice that looks like they were trying to compensate. The vegetables had a lingering taste of bug spray. The sushi was the only saving grace of the meal. It was okay. But, SURPRISE SURPRISE! We both got food poisoning. A huge waste of 40 bucks. Definitely not eating here again, and will warn others not to either.

You font go here for service... You go for the fresh sushi and other parts excellent Asian dishes. I had a shrimp dish and was tickled to death that the shrimp was still moist and tasty. Most places serve it dry and rubbery. Not Sushi Cafe... The pho is plentiful and flavorful and more then enough for 2 meals. Will be returning here soon.

I've eaten here many times, although it was a little "better" for lack of a better term in its first months of operation it is still good and imho better than the Fuji steakhouse that opened shortly after. I'm sure the few minor changes were because of the competition or supply changes. I won't hesitate to take family or friends there, the lady that does the cooking puts up solid, hot food every time.

It took my server 30 mins AFTER he brought me salad to realize we didn't have any utinsels! He made it through the salad not getting touched, my sashimi not getting touched and my MAIN course of steak hiabchi sitting here getting cold, before he thought to bring me a fork. There is 3 other couples on here... It's not busy. The food is decent but the service is horrid!!

The steak was the only thing that was pretty good, but it's in big chunks and theye don't give you a knife. Fried rice was bland. My daughter got teriyaki chicken and you couldn't taste any sauce even tho it was covered. The soup taste like saltine crackers. I'll stick to Fugi. Wasted $50

Strangely enough, I do not eat sushi but I love the shrimp udon (great soup with shrimp and vegetables) and the shrimp tempura. Their fried rice is the best I have ever had. We eat here often. Service can be a little slow, sometimes, but we go when we have no reason to rush.

Don't expect world-class sushi, but for Searcy the quality of the food is a veritable surprise. The entire menu is good, though a little pricey. Try to go at lunch for the same food at much more affordable prices. Don't forget to ask for some hot tea - it's free!

We decided to try this place out today. Not going to lie I have been kind of iffy about going here but I love sushi and Fuji’s was closed so we gave it a shot. I ordered a sweet tea, California roll and the shrimp tempura roll. The prices were a bit higher then I expected to be honest for how the food tasted. The food was pretty bland which was pretty disappointing and I’m not sure about how or what kind of sweet tea they have but it looked like sweet tea but tasted very very strange. It wasn’t bad it just wasn’t sweet tea. My boyfriend ordered the chicken teriyaki and they over cooked the chicken. We kept trying to figure out where the burning smell was coming from off his plate. After all that I can say the price for the food wasn’t worth it. We weren’t expecting a whole lot when we went in but was disappointed that the food just wasn’t good for the price

I've been here dozens of times and I'll probably go here dozens more. It is probably not the absolute best sushi or hibachi you'll ever have, but it is solid. And for the price, it is nearly unbeatable in Searcy: it is possible to have a really filling lunch here - hibachi AND sushi - and not spend more than $12.

Me and my boyfriend ordered chicken hibachi meal which came with fried rice and miso soup and a side of salad, along with Californian rolls. The rolls themselves weren’t spectacular, a little bland and very small amounts of crab, but the Miso soup was amazing. Absolutely loved it. The chicken hibachi was cooked with too much soy sauce or something, dried out and incredibly salty/chewy. I wouldn’t even try the rice after the chicken, but my boyfriend said it wasn’t great. Although the food was mediocre, the service was fantastic! Our waiter was very attentive and friendly, and I really liked him. Very pleasant person, and definitely willing to give this place another try in the future. Perhaps tonight was just an off night as far as the food went, especially considering past reviews.

The sushi was okay, grocery store quality not like you get in a real restaurant . The seafood habattchi was swimming in soy sauce. Very salty and not very good. The service was awful! The waiter ignored me and took a long time for my drink refill. I would not eat here again

Don't let the ex-backyard-burgers exterior fool you; this place is the real deal. I have moved from Searcy to the Nashville TN area and have yet to find a place in Middle TN that tops this Searcy staple. It is extremely affordable, but not fast. You can eat a lunch hibachi for less than $10 with tip. This is better and cheaper than Fuji on the west side.
