Sprinkled with crack! I see a lot of reviews complaining about service. My service was great... But quite honestly they could treat me like complete trash and I wouldn't care. This chicken is that good. They've earned the right to treat anyone however they damn well please. They could talk about my shoes, my face or even my momma. I don't know what type of crack they put in here - and I hope, no, pray the government never tests it/shuts it down. Looking into opening a franchise so I can eat it every day.

Well I could never get the order taker to understand me. I even turned the AC off and killed engine she kept saying "Yeah but I cant hear you" I know I am an articulated speaker, and I never have people ask me over and over to repeat. I think that young girl is just being rude bc I dont speak her dialect and I am not black. I may be wrong

The best chicken I've had in the state of Louisiana, but I've also only had chicken in Louisiana once. Best Canes rip-off I've ever seen. Drink dispenser is a little jank though. My friend Brendan says "I had to finger it to give me some ice". I witnessed it with my own eyes!

The inside seating in minimal. The chicken was surprisingly hot and juicy. Wait time was acceptable. Only thing I didn't like was cashier decided it was way more important to respond to text than place my order. Even part way thro the transaction she stop to send another message. Lucky I wasn't in a rush or that would have been highly irritating.

Great little fast food joint, food was tasty, but staff was extremely cold. Seemed they didn't want to be there, therefore didn't want to help. At one point an employee complained about bringing food out to a drive-thru customer because she wasn't going to get a tip. Inside was a little dirty, I was accompanied at my table by a friendly wasp.

This chicken place is just past the busy downtown area and an excellent choice if you want some tasty southern fried food. It has a tiny kick to it but mild enough that even children would love it. The staff there was very courteous and made me feel right at home. They answered all the questions we had about the food and had a smile on their faces while doing. I definitely felt the southern hospitality which is what the south is known for. I would recommend this place to friends who want some authentic southern fried chicken. It was excellent. They even had fried okra which I was able to substitute instead of French fries. I will be back again, I'm sure!

This place really hits the spot! Fast and friendly service. We ordered the 10 piece dark family box and a large order of mashed potatoes and gravy and 2 jalapenos. PERFECTLY fed 2 adults and 2 children. I can't end this without giving MAJOR props on the gravy.. It's abosoutely delicious!!

I had chicken strips from this place. The strips was obviously spoiled. I was sick as a dog vomiting and explosive diarrhea my stomach hurt so bad I had to walk bent over. I would not advise anyone to eat anything from Southern Classic Chicken. I wouldn't wish how I felt on an enemy. Eat from here at YOUR OWN RISK!

Driving north on 171 I stopped for gas in Many, LA local police officers were fueling there too. When I asked them for a local place to eat good chicken. They recommend this place. Place is a small rinky dinky place but Staff was friendly. Chicken was excellent fricking finger licking Good. Tables were old and a bit unkept and it looks like the bulk of their business is drive thru, So no concern about the interior I definitely will eat here again .

Since the owner's of this place changed, the service, and food has really gone down. Yesterday, I was in the drive thru for more than 20 minutes, and was never served. I watched as people went in and out, but the line at the drive through never moved. If someone has a long order, then move them aside , and serve the next person. The last time I had Southern Classic, the quality of the food was not the same. I wish they had left a good thing alone, because when this place was Chic A Dilly it was really good , and now I don't even consider it a " must visit" stop when I go home to El Dorado. If anyone expects this to be the same as it was before, it's NOT, so don't bother to stop here.

BEST fried chicken you will EVER have. No other restaurant makes it better than this chain. I only wish they would branch out more. I eat here every single time I'm in El Dorado or Louisiana. The chicken is so tender and juicy. Not a dry piece is found in the bone. The taste stays with you and consumes your soul. All you do is think and dream about the crispy crunch that bursts with flavor. If you're a fan of fried chicken, don't eat here, because every other fried chicken you have will be a disappointment.
