It was average. The usual disappointing items in the buffet so I got blackened salmon instead which was lacking the blackened seasoning. The waitresses were attentive though.

Been sitting here at the iron skillet now for at least 30mins and now was just asked for my order. There was a black waitress that sat me down and got me my drive and told the other waitress which is white will get my order. Well 30 mins go by and the white waitress looked at me a least 7x went around me that many times and got everyone else's order and refills and was nice to them and held short conversations with them. The only she said to me when to 2 guys moved was they were cold. After the 30mins the black waitress asked me if the white waitress put my order in yet? I told NO she hasn't even came over here since you sat me down and got my drink and even looked me 7x and got everyone else. The black waitress had to order my food and bring me drinks, she got the but not the white one. I will never eat here AGAIN because of one person it takes one

Just stopped here for breakfast. No biscuits on the buffet, never brought any either. I ordered over medium eggs, 20 minutes later I asked for them again. 20 minutes later they came out and I could of used them for frisbees. The waitress didn’t even pour my first cup of coffee when she brought it. Absolutely terrible. And still charged me $15.

Worst iron skillet I've visited by far. Had the Buffet. Everything was overcooked. After one plate had upset stomach. Couldn't even finish that first plate. Definitely will not go to the petro iron skillet in North little rock again. And that doesn't even include how the server messed up 2 beverages. And the cook couldn't get one sandwich correct.

Most of the time they don't put cherries in cherry limeade which is what I drink most of the time at Sonic. When I ask to make sure there are cherries the typical response is that they do pput cherries in. Even after that conversation, sometimes they still don't have a cherry.

We stopped at Iron Skillet for a quick meal. The food and service were great! A good variety of menu choices satisfies even the more picky eaters. The restaurant and restrooms were clean and well maintained. Nice place to stop along our way away while traveling.

Welcome to truck stop prices that's because they have a captive audience. However it is about as good as it gets. With plates and silverware this is what you can expect to pay. So when I see other reviews saying the price is high it's because truckers don't have all the choices. Now saying that. This is about as good as it gets. Quality food and service.

There was a great buffet for breakfast. Biscuits and gravy. Bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, salads, pancakes with syrup, or just about anything you would want for breakfast. Just less than $15. If you ever find yourself along this Iron Skillet Restaurant it is definitely a must. Great place with great service.

Have not eaten there yet, but called and asked if they were doing anything for Fathers day buffet. Told was going to be transferred to the restaurant, waited 3 minutes then hung up on. Called back asked for manager, talked to one, then that manager said they know nothing about the restaurant and transferred me again. Finally talked to someone who gave me the rundown on the buffet. Took me 10 min to get something done that should have took 3 min. It took 3 min. to ask the other restaurants I called.

Generally, these are good buffet restaurants, but their parent company, TA is eliminating them like they are Country Pride restaurants. Some are better than others on selection and food quality. This one was average. I gave them 4 stars because they so far are better than TA.

I'll move it to 2 stars from 1 and give some leeway because it was a holiday and they were obviously under staffed. But it was seat yourself and all the tables were dirty. The server didn't greet us for almost 5 minutes, the manager ended up bringing us drinks and menus. (The coffee was watery and weak) It was another 10 minutes before our orders were taken. The food came out another 20 minutes after that and my mom's order was wrong. She received french toast instead of pancakes. When the next round of food came out, the eggs were wrong and she just ate it. The awful experience was witnessed by a trucker in the next booth. He was kind enough to pay for our breakfast and that was the nicest part of the ordeal. I would like to assume that they do better other days, but today was not a good showing.

Sonic has got to be one of the busiest fast-food restaurants here in Searcy, Arkansas! Not to mention the top notch service to their customers! These guys stop at almost nothing to make the customer comfortable, as well as do their absolute best to keep the customers satisfied. The pricing is very competitive, but, some things are a little pricey, but, they even make up for that! Their portions are somewhat oversized compared to other restaurants! More food for you're buck! Go try them out this summer, I bet you come back!

It's sonic... The difference between a good sonic and bad is delivery time. Fast food these days may be fast, but it ain't cheap. Almost $10 for a cheese burger deal #1. That's a nice fully loaded cheese urger, small fries and small coke for almost $10. It better be fast at that price.

This sonic is closest to my new house. Their products are consistent and good just like the rest of every other Sonic Drive in that I visit. The carhops here are pleasant and quick and the food is always fast. They rarely make a error but if they do they’re always fast give you coupons for free drinks. This is now my favorite sonic in town. I actually do come here once or twice or three times every day. Thank you for the good work, keep it up!!

Not a place I would recommend unless you were starving and couldnt get to one of the fast food places next door. The food was served fairly quickly but that was about the best part. I ordered a pepsi and got diet instrad. Told the waitress and she didnt aggree with me and hesitantly took it back after waiting for about 10 minutes for her to get back to me. And I was sitting at the bar so I wasnt that far away. All of the silver ware still had food stuck to it. They were just rolled up in napkins all around so I grabbed another from the open spot next to me and it was the same. When it was time to check out the waitress tried to give my bank card to another guy that had already paid. Luckily he was honest and told her it wasnt his. Needles to say that was my first time eating at an Iron Skillet and it will likely be the last time eating at that one at least.

Really a horrible experience, all the tables were dirty and a empty restaurant. Would have been better if it was self service. Waitress never smiled, took our order at never brought us silverware. 1 person in the party never received her order till we got up and asked for it. Her order arrived after the rest of us had finished eating. We had to hunt the waitress down to give us the bill, then hunt her down again to correct the mistakes on the bill.

I really like this Sonic. They are always accurate and super fast coming out. Every server has a smile on their face and makes me feel welcome . You will not be disappointed if you stop by for a visit. I recommend the creme slushes if you are not worried about calories. The fruit slushes are also out of this world!! Everything they cook is always fresh and served hot. Overall, a great place to take family and friends. (Sometimes I sneak in there by myself) lol

Once again, horrible and over priced buffet. Parking is mostly reserved near the store. Most truck stops are doing this and eventually will make you pay to park. Trying to take everything I need so I don't have to go into these money traps.

Wow!! All I'm going to say is this whole place was an undesirable experience!! The staff was exceptionally rude and totally unwilling to accommodate because... They close an hour!! The shop told me 2 hours to replace a missing mudflap on my trailer and after nearly 4 hours they tell me there's 8 tickets in front of me.. I don't recommend this place to ANYONE for ANYTHING!!

I have been to many Iron Skillets and this was one of the worst. Only buffet available and no discount for someone like me who doesn't eat meat with bones in it so there wasn't much to choose from. Then when the waitress came she asked my husband what he wanted to drink then left without asking me not to return until it was time to bring the check. So I left there hungry and thirsty. It would've been nice to at least get a smile from one of the staff there but they all looked like they were unhappy being there. Quite disappointed in this particular Iron Skillet

Great food, but kept noticing that the cook was also busing tables. Waitresses should clean tables & not just hang around looking at their cook doing all the work. Waitresses are getting tips, but not the cooks so they should be cleaning the tables for those tips that they're getting. Just my opinion.

Today's service was less than mediocre! Which is a disappointment. Iron skillet is one of my favorite places to eat while on the road. They get 3 stars today because of 1 bad egg. (Person) I ordered the new Mexican food, Grilled chicken fajita burrito with a side of fries. Although the burrito was poorly put together it was delicious! But it didn't come with my fries! So the cook had to make them separately. But he of course conveniently for that he dropped fries. So then he tried to serve me burnt to a crisp oil soaked fries. As a good sport I tried to eat them, but after only 2 fries I just couldn't stomach any more! They Manager came out and made things right which I was extremely greatful for! It really turned my experience around and saved a 1 star rating!

Not so good. Walked in and just about every table was dirty. Actually found the least dirty table and did a tidy up to seat the wife and two guest. Waited along time before we had anyone notice we were there and once noticed we felt that they .just have been doing us a favor to ask about drinks. Finally when we ordered, the waitress who seemed oblivious to taking care of our needs stopped by. I asked if she would bring by the knife and fork sets, she never did. A second waitress came by aft er r we recieved the sandwiches we as asked and she brought the settings. Ok. A couple more minutes go by and I get up to find our waitress and ask about the status of the shrimp dinner our guest ordered. The look on her face would have been priceless, except it wasn't funny to us. Oops, she forgot. It never got any better and I really question if I'll ever return. It the past we always have good service and food. I have to say there was a time we enjoyed the place but no longer. Someone up the corporate ladder needs to do a serious review for this station.

Friendliest employees ever - fast service. Very rarely see roller skates but that is fine with me. Love having the 99 cent large drinks until 11 am. Also love the half price happy hour drinks from 2-4. Recently tried a cheeseburger with chili and grilled onions. Pretty good!

I ordered the smoked sausage skillet and it was upsetting at best. The food was basically cold, as if it had been forgotten, and they literally just threw plain cheese on top without melting it. I eventually asked my waitress, who was nice about it, to heat it up. She threw it in the microwave, so yea, it did melt, but the taste was so subpar and mediocre, that I couldn’t even finish it...even after adding salt, pepper, and hot sauce.

My co driver and I visit these restaurants frequently and usually get great service and great food. Unfortunately this was not the case here. The food was good but not prepared as advertised, we had to ask for things that were supposed to come on or with it. We had to wait for our server , evidently she is, and I quote.."always late"..my co driver wanted the buffet but because of the wait the buffet was taken down before she could order. One our server arrived our service was adequate. But I would not recommend this particular restaurant to anyone without a warning. Also I would like to add. The truck parking is great. Well lit and plenty of it. The only issue there was over slowing trash cans. Otherwise a well rested and safe night.

Over the last few weeks on the road, we’ve sampled a lot of breakfasts from diners, stops and hotels. This was the best by far. The food tasted good and was cooked properly. The facility was older but clean, and the service was awesome (Thanks, Jane!). Finally, good hash browns, sincere people, and a warm atmosphere!

Went there 3 days ago. The food was decent( didn't like the Alfredo sauce but the chicken was good). The folks were friendly. Loved the salad buffet.

Minorities be careful, I went to this Sonics on Saturday, and they refused to answer the intercom after I pressed the red button. I pressed about three times, then a woman drove up and was waited on immediately. Finally, I just drove away because I did not want them preparing food for me after this incident. Will not be returning.

Sat down for breakfast 8/18/19. Waitress watched me sit down and even checked on a customer sitting a few tables down. After waiting another ten minutes waitress told me I needed to move to another section if I wanted service.. got up walked out which is sad because this used to be a pretty good place to eat.. dinner on 8/17/19 was over cooked the pork chops were so dry they were tougher then beef jerky.. cooks could probably do a better job if they weren't on there phones while cooking or busy talking about the party they was going to after work..

We got there at 10:15 pm our order was taken about 10:20 when we got half of our order ( we never got our other half ) in to go trays we were told that they closed at 11:00 we got the food at 10:50 and was told kitchen was closed. The food wasn`t even our order. There was 4 very unhappy people. The employees said it was posted they close at 11:00, the sign was on a 4x5 paper. Come on NOT RIGHT

Very dissatisfied, my husband and I ordered burgers and french fries. The french fries were fresh and really hot they came straight from the grease, bad part was that they took the fries straight from the grease to our family sized box and our box was filled with way to much grease and made eating our fries unenjoyable. My burger had hard stale bread and my hamburger pattie wasn't even hot, it was warm. After taking a bite I looked at my husband and told him how old and hard my hamburger buns were and he said his was too. When I looked at his burger he was upset because his burger was very very messy made and wasn't even warm enough to melt his cheese to the burger. I wouldn't recommend anyone eating at this Sonic. I promise it's worth the few extra miles to go to the other Sonic in town.

This Sonic is ALWAYS the best Sonic in Searcy! Fast service, Fresh Hot Food, Friendly Customer Service. They always aim to please!! Best Manager around too! Problem with my order and he fixed it no questions asked. Said, " We want to make you Happy, we want your business!" He Knows how to run a business! This is the only Sonic in Searcy I will eat at!!

As a truck driver that's been in the ranks since the days when a good meal use ta be shared at a Mom & Pops restaurant, Petros are one of the only places a driver has the opportunity to have a meal in a sit down restaurant. I for one don't flaunt these fast food places in most of the other fuel stops. They are for tourist who are always in a hurry.

Pleasantly surprised after not so great reviews. Ordered the chicken fried steak $10.99 split it with the husband on our truck stop through. The steak was good, mashed potatoes okay (needed salt). I think we agree the salad bar, salad that came with our entree was the best! Note: I’d definitely not eat any salad bar if it didn’t look to my liking but this one was fully stocked and fresh for our visit. This place has been pinned for future stops for a place with something other than your usual truck stop fast food. Great service too!

i used to work here for many years manager is Awesome guy.. this place is great anytime of day including holidays ( i come here at thanksgiving ) great buffet hearty helpings on menu for dinner or lunch you will get your monies worth & fast friendly service i highly recommend this place for any time of day huge buffet , truck store , showers , big bathrooms . Food wasnt all that good. Very limited selection for the supper buffet. Chicken was dry. Fish was dry... and there was a couple of things I wasnt sure of. Service sucked bad. Always love having empty dishes piled up around me. Almost needed an IV due to dehydration as a drink refill was non existent

Iron skillet is one of my favorite go-to restaurants. At home and when I am traveling. It's the closest thing I can find to fresh, homemade nutritious and healthy food, when on the road. SUPERB fresh salad bar and REALLY great soups. I would recommend Iron Skillet first over almost any other restaurant if you're looking for quick, hot or cold, big variety of food options.
