I called my order in for the pickup window, gave the 15 minute wait for the food to be prepared. Problem is you get to the drive thru and the one in front of you is trying to decide what to order then it has to be prepared. Turned into a 45 minute wait, and the cars behind inconvenienced who called in. Food is not that good will go elsewhere when ordering ahead from now on.

It was decent. I've had better food. In particular I had the fish and roughly half of each filet was overcooked and hard. The coleslaw was watery. The hush puppies, beans, and fries were tasty. My kids liked their burgers. The tables were clean.

Visit July 5, 2018 at 12 noon. Food good, Service not so much. After my experience with the rude girl at the counter, I watched her. Rude to everyone. She obviously hates her job. Older lady at counter was friendly to her customers. My husband's simple order was messed up with no apology. He hates slaw, didn't order slaw, so of course slaw all over his plate. Took it back and they scraped it off and gave him back the plate.

Went here while on vacation last week. All the legends are true! Not only was the BBQ Spaghetti fantastic, but I can honestly say those are the best ribs I've ever had! I'm from Michigan, so I don't know what good BBQ, but still :)

First time in Hot Springs AR, and I chose this place out of curiosity. I’ve tried a lot of BBQ joints from Kansas City, MO, Memphis TN to St. Louis and this place definitely met my expectations. Really quick service, and a lot of entries to chose from. It’s a little run down but the food is what matters. I bought their sauce to go.

Smokin’ In Style BBQ. This is a nice clean fairly large place located at 2278 Albert Pike. I knew it must be good as I witnessed one customer after another receive good food and great service. It appears that they have a large and happy customer base. The smoked Sausage was great. They offer several different BBQ sauces at the table. I thought the very mild Sweet Sauce was the best. For Potato Salad, a choice is offered: the ole fashioned kind with mustard in it (which I thought was very good) or a “Smokin’ Baked Potato Salad” that I will try on my next visit. I grew up on Texas BBQ. The Smokin’ Baked Beans simply did not measure up to what I prefer. They were somewhat bland. However, let me assure you that Smokin’ In Style BBQ provides the best BBQ in Garland County. The portions were large and the price was reasonable. The service was great.

Originally from Texas and could not find "real" BBQ in Arkansas until today. We had the smoked chicken with loaded potato salad and coleslaw. Everything was VERY good and generous portions. The wife had the new grilled corn on the cob and she said it was delicious. Fast service and friendly staff. The only negative would be the roll. Looked like they took it straight out of the store bought pkg. Maybe Texas Toast or even a bread slice would have been better. Overall it will be our "go to" BBQ restaurant from now on. A patron suggested getting the "sampler" platter which I will try on our next visit.

Their beef and pork are really good but what you have to try is their pulled smoked chicken. This paired with their BBQ sauce is unbelievably good. We bought 3 pounds and a bottle of their sauce for under $40. Pair it with some potato salad, beans, and slaw and you've got an inexpensive meal for 10 or so people that everyone will love.

I was taking there for my birthday. I had for the very first time a baked potato with pulled pork and cheese. It was delicious. Bathrooms were clean the facilities were clean. The staff was extremely friendly. It didn't take very long to get our food. It was a great place for families. Most definitely a place to check out!

"Why did the skeleton go to the barbecue place?" "For the spare ribs!" But seriously folks, this place is pretty solid. Pretty good selection. Great prices. And the food is REALLY good. It had that kind of smell that washes over you when you open the door. When you walk in, if you aren't hungry, you soon will be. I actually ordered a cheeseburger and it was fantastic. The fries were small and well cooked, but a tad greasy for my tastes. I also really liked the flavor of their house - made sauce.

My family and I decided to visit this establishment after reading the great reviews. The quality of the food was very good. The ribs were some of the best I have ever had. The fried catfish was a little under seasoned. My children ordered the barbecue nachos and they were good as well. I gave the two star rating because of the customer service. We had to wait several minutes to be acknowledged and for our order to be taken by a less than enthusiastic cashier. Literally, from the time we walked in until the time we ate our last bites of food we were stared at by the staff and patrons. We are African American, and I grew up in Arkansas, but I have never witnessed this at a restaurant, or anywhere else, before. My children kept asking me why we were being stared at. I just told them that they must like the way we look. Every time I looked up from my plate there was a Caucasian patron or member of the staff staring at my family. They didn't say anything rude they were just staring. It was as if I had been transported back in time to the days of segregation. It really made us feel unwelcome. I noticed there were several African Americans on the pictures I saw while reading the reviews of the restaurant. I couldn't help but wonder if they had the same experience. Needless to say I will not be visiting this restaurant again.

We will come here every time we go to Hot Springs. I always get the child's fish plate but substitute green beans for the fries. The hush pupppies are seasoned to perfection, and the fish is delectable. Yesterday my boyfriend got the super sampler. Needless to say, he made 2 meals of it. I couldn't believe how much delicious food was included. I tried all of the meats, which were so tender and delicious. I am not particularly fond of pulled pork nor sausage, but both were smoked to perfection. The chicken was so moist and seasoned so well. All of the sides, including the french fries were delicious. The employees are very hospitable and the atmosphere is nice.

My husband and I shared the Super Sampler, a massive platter of 5 ribs, pulled pork, sliced brisket, smoked sausage, half a chicken, and a fried fish filet. Plus you get 3 sides of your choice. There are also several savory and sweet BBQ Sauces from which to choose at your table. We took enough home for 4 more meals! The Baked Beans, Baked Potato Salad, and Coleslaw were all excellent, as were the hushpuppies. Big menu of delicious items.

Our favorite bbq place in town! The pulled pork baked potatoes are to die for with the #1 mild bbq sauce and we love to get the large family pack to go. Can eat on bbq sandwiches for a few days! Little slow on service on the weekends when they are super busy but worth it.

Best BBQ in Hot Springs hands down, as far as I am concerned. I have never had a bad experience with these guys. Their loaded baked potato salad, ohhhh my goodness... good stuff right there! I usually get their BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, with slaw added, and their sweet and spicy molasses sauce. The sandwich is a meal in itself if your order the "big boy" option. I've gotten their sample platter in the past, and it was awsome... everything, including the chicken, was juicy. On this trip, the wife got the fish, and it was wonderful, to the point of me receiving fork marks on the back of my hand as I tried to sneak a second piece off of her plate. Their ribs have always been tender, juicy and flavorful as well. Just be ready to have to ask for a take home box... I dare you to order the large sampler platter and be able to eat it all in one sitting. Their sweet tea surpasses even the most highbrow individuals expectations of what southerners expect sweet tea to be. Show up hungry my friends. Ambiance is diner style, down home plastic tablecloths, barbecue and bibs, full bellies and smiles are what this place is all about. Family friendly as well. You won't regret the experience.

Typically I don't leave negative reviews, but the service here was so poor that I felt it necessary. First, I sat at the drive-through window window for about 15 minutes waiting to order. Thinking that it might speed up service, I went ahead and called in my order. When I finally made it to the front of the line, I attempted to tell the woman at the window that I called in an order and she cut me off and asked for my name. I gave it to her and paid for my food. She then tells me to pull around to the back and they would bring it to me AFTER she had taken my money. She was very rude, but wanting to be nice I asked her about her day before pulling to the back (mind you none of the other approximately 4 cars ahead of me had been asked to pull to the back). I waited another 5 minutes and the woman comes out of the back door and asked me to repeat my order to her, which I did. I still waited another 2-3 minutes for my order. I would also add that while I was waiting at the back door for my food, no other cars were sent to wait for their food their behind me. Now, I'm not certain why I was asked to pull around to the back to pick up my food....but I can say that no one else pulled behind me while I was there. If the woman at the window on Sunday was not ownership or management, then they need to be aware that this happened.

So we've been coming to Smokin in Style for years, usually via drive through to get to-go. We tend to get the platter- it has enough meat for us as a family of four and comes with two sides. They use an electric smoker so the smoky flavor isn't there as much as a pit BBQs meat, however its consistent so you always know what to expect. They have a great tamale as well. My only disappointment is the staff- they are not your typical southern hospitality kind of staff. They tend to be dry and to the point, it's been this way since my first visit 10 years ago, however the food is good and consistent so we just go knowing this. Definitely worth a try for BBQ in Hot Springs.

Brightly lit place inside a strip mall. Tables are covered with advertisements for area businesses the room is decorated with trophies sports memorabilia. Would you call the place cozy or country like quality of the food pretty good. Brisket is excellent. Smoked sausage however is fairly low quality, I would liken it more to a hot dog than the actual sausage.there are four different types of BBQ sauce, although they all basically taste the same, overly sweet and not a very tangy.their sides are equally hit and miss. Some like the baked potato salad or quite good while others such as the onion rings are basically industrial Frozen onion rings. All in all I would recommend displace as one of the better restaurants in the area.
