Not good at all. Slaw, potato salad, bbq baked beans,were ok i guess, the bbq sauce was bad it was too sweet, thick, and sticky. The ribs were tough as a boot.

I realize brisket has been discovered and now is expensive. I do think the quality is good and taste is genuine smoked BBQ Prices are in line with most BBQ restaurants. I like the open layout and the cafeteria style serving. Update Oct. 2018.: The little sausage they give you as an extra with meals, well I just don't like it. First on two occasions the sausage we're old and tasted horrible. No amount of BBQ sauce can hide that. Second, both times I had upset stomach from the little sausage gift.

I had the ribs, chopped brisket and BBQ polish dog with baked beans and apple cobbler. The brisket topped the other 2 meats, very tender, flavorful and tasty. Baked beans need a little work, kind of taste like almost right out of the can, maybe add some mustard and/or hot BBQ sauce. Good thing Ralph's had some jalapeno's as their hot sauce was sort of neutral to me. The ribs would be much better if he'd smoke them longer or add much more hickory wood. He told me he used pecan wood w/hickory, first time I've ever heard of a restaurant doing this, interesting, but I think he still needs much more smoke flavor to put mo smokey taste into the meats over all. Compared to Pig N Pepper in Van Buren though, I'll give him a 4 rating, they're my 5 rating though. The other viewers I question their comments comparatively speaking toward KC and especially Memphis or Southern states style Barbecues, I've had them all and Ralph's doesn't really compare, but local to Fort Smith River Valley region, he puts out some good stuff, I'll be going back randomly.

I was visiting Fort Smith on business. Found Ralph's using Google maps on my phone. Ralph's is a great hole-in-the-wall place. I had the lunch special (sliced brisket sandwich, sausage, and beans). Everything was good and the hot BBQ made my lips tingle, which was a good thing!

Food was absolutely delicious, ribs, beans, mac n cheese are a must if you vist. Me and my friends were on a road trip back to upstate New York and stumbled upon this place. Owner was extremely friendly and even pointed us to some spots in Memphis that we had to visit. Don't let the location fool you, this place knows how BBQ and make people feel welcome! Will most definitely be back if ever in the area. Wish I could give it 10 stars.

Good food, quirky decor. We have tried four times to eat here and only succeded once. The second time was a holiday so we ended up at Jerry Neel's. The third time was the day they are closed. The fourth time was 8:10 p.m. on Saturday night, although they advertise open until 9. We were sent away at the door because they had been "beat up all day" so they were closing early. And, you guessed it, Jerry Neel's also closes at 9 and they welcomed us in after we drove about 10 minutes from Pink Flamingo. Hmmm, I think I've learned my lesson. Just go to Jerry Neel's first.

This was my first time here I had seen it on TV before and it had won alot of awards so we went to try it let me tell you compared to anywhere else in the Arkansas rivervalley best bbq ever and the flavour is just bam right there the sausage is amazing the ribs are undescribable it's so tender and the area around are clean the service was excelant you are greated with a smile the Coleslaw is OK it could use some pineapple the beans were awesome and the potato salad is original and over the top I wI'll most definitely be visiting again for now this will remain a treasure~Jason.L.Carlisle

Very gooood when I go back the only thing I'm getting is the sliced brisket it is probably the best I have ever ate. The beans are good but I don't really like beans alot unless they are my family's bacon baked beans I didn't have time to try the deserts but I bet they would be good.It was good fast service and we got alot of food 5-8 peices of brisket a good size of beans, and 1 sausage. The surroundings were awsome and honestly I heard a guy in there say" It was awsome and he's sending a lot more people in." I would come back every day If I could but I live in Paris so... Thank you so much for this food.

If it was possible to leave more stars, I absolutely would. I got the chopped Chicken sandwich, Potato Salad and an extra side of the Southwest Mac-N-Cheese. The Sauce is good and hearty tasting. It was all so good, I wanted to take a picture but I ate it way to fast. I got three of the lunch specials and it was around $29.00 and no one was able to eat the whole thing. Fantastic! The staff was super nice and great with suggestions. I AM definitely coming back here--and will bring friends!

Ordered the pulled pork sandwich. The meat was practically ground and was very moist. That made the bread instantly soggy. The sauces were pretty good - if you like sweet sauce. I noticed other customers had sliced meat and ribs - which looked very good. If I ever go back - I will not order pulled pork or anything chopped.

I ate the lunch special (sandwich, drink, side, and a piece of sausage) for around $8 (with tax). I liked the cafeteria style service where you can pour your own drink and grab a tray. I went with the pulled pork sandwich and a side of cajun Mac and Cheese. I would give the sausage a 5 out of 5; the pulled port brisket was soggy and tasted very bland - just not good at all 2 out of 5; lastly, the Mac and Cheese was good - but not great 3 out of 5. Overall the experience was good, but I'd recommend steering clear of the pulled pork, there is much better BBQ in town.

Good food and my best, at least a tie, for the best BBQ I have had in Arkansas. Most BBQ joints in Arkansas are atrocious so a good one shines. I had a sliced brisket sandwich and a side of the cheesy potatoes. The brisket had 0 fat and was thick. I don't know if they do this all the time but they also gave me a slice of sausage, thick slice. They have like 5 different sauces, I requested the hot initially but the guy behind the counter informed me it was not that hot so I asked for the extra hot (spicier but still not all that spicy but it was tasty) the best bet is not to order the sandwich like I did, the bread just gets soggy. Prices are reasonable, $17 for 2 of us and we were stuffed. They serve beer too.

Got a pulled pork sandwich. Pork was the consistency of canned tuna fish. Had been sitting in water, I think, as the bun was wet from the pork. Sandwich came with sausage sitting in sauce and apple cobbler. Sausage was comparable to a hot dog with thick casing. Apple cobbler was just ok. Staff was very friendly and restaurant seemed clean.

I do not live in Fort Smith but my GF does. So, when we crave for something meaty, this is our default place. Goodness, I tried talking to her of trying out different places and we still end up here. So, what to get here... I suggest the salad. Just kidding. If you order a salad here, you kinda missed the point of this place. I have tried all of their offerings, and they are good. I tried all their sauces, and they are good. I have tried all the permutation of meat and sauces, and they are good. The serving is big. So, my tip is to order the judge if there is two of you. All the folks there are nice. This is a counter service so they do not really "serve" you in a traditional sense. One complain... their water dispenser is as slow as molasses. Goodness, it prevents me from getting my food quickly.

We got the judges platter. So good! The price online is incorrect. it is actually $19.99. My husband and I split it and it was A LOT of meat (pork, brisket, sausage, ribs) and you get 3 sides. All the meat was wonderful and the sauces were delicious. The side salad left something to be desired. The apple cobbler was delicious though!

Found this place through Google Maps. It was worth the trip from I-40. Husband & I split the Judges Platter. Ribs, pulled pork, Brisket, & sausage were all great. I liked the smoky BBQ sauce. Rich liked the extra hot. The cost/person included dessert.

I travel a lot for work. Because of this, I usually have to settle for chain restaraunts close to the hotel/highway. If you're situation is similar to mine, and you're a mile away at those chains at the shopping center, trust a stranger a take a chance. You will not be sorry. The food is phenomenally better than anything you'll find at a chain. Pleasantly surprised.

Ralph's is the place to go for tasty barbecue lunch during the week. I had a lunch special pulled pork sandwich with beans and their Mac and cheese. The pork was tender and juicy; obviously a top BBQ chef does the cooking. Ralph himself greeted us as we ate. Their Chocolate Bourbon Pecan pie was one of a kind level of delicious. Friendly staff, made us NH Yankees feel welcome. I highly recommend this place. I look forward to trying their rib tomorrow.

This place has some of the best BBQ around. Reminds me of Rivertowne BBQ in Ozark, but better located in Fort Smith. Their baked potatoes and pulled pork sandwiches are awesome and worth the money.

Pink Flamingo is my GO-TO BBQ place in fort smith. I have tried BBQ all over the country and these guys know how to do it right. I have never had a bad meal there and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. I am glad we have this place in town as it has become a weekly part of my life. Keep up the great work guys!

We were on the road heading East from the Grand Canyon. We stopped at Pink Flamingo late on a Saturday night and Jeff, one of the owners, took PHENOMENAL care of us. He recommended a dinner, brought us some extra sides to try, and sat down and talked Arkansas football with us while we ate. This could not have been a better dining experience!
