Go for the great catfish if you must, but the piece de resistance is their fried buffalo ribs, a once-popular delicacy now increasingly hard to find. That's buffalo fish not buffalo bison. You'll thank yourself if your try them.

Hometown place, good catfish fillets, corn fritters, and very fresh coleslaw. It's been there since 1931 it says on the wall and I can see why. It seems like a place that local people stop for lunch several days a week. Don't mind the rough looking exterior.

Called my order in, it was cold when I got it, Buffalo Ribs, fries, slaw. I waited while two other customers paid and left so I'm not expecting a "cold" meal, warm at best. There were quite a few people there, families, next time I will eat there and see if it's better so I'm reserving judgement until I can try it again.

This place is a must if your in LR. I took my mom for lunch (to go) after her eye surgery and everything was delicious. She got a medium buffalo meal and I got half buffalo and half catfish steak. We both got okra and slaw, tomato relish and a side pickles and onion. We were too hungry to take a picture but I snapped a pic of the menu for the next time I go. ☺️

The food is excellent, but the dining area needs a serious facelift to accommodate customers dining experience and the waitstaff is rude, don't smile and doesn't really check back to see if anything else is needed. Best way to patronize Lasis Inn is to place to go orders instead of dining in.

There is only one way to eat catfish in the south and that's fried. I ordered 4 catfish filets with coleslaw and fries on the side. The restaurant is a bit rough on the outside and inside, but the catfish made it all worthwhile. My order came piping hot with hush puppies and nothing was greasy. I'll be back!

Lots of atmosphere, catfish fillets are good, limited menu (catfish or buffalo), canned drinks served with a glass of ice, fairly good list of sides, including fried okra and green tomato relish. This place was open many years before I-30 was built next to it. The uncomfortable wooden pews in each booth were built in 1947 and the restaurant was open for decades prior. This is a popular neighborhood restaurant in a black area, but lots of white folks enjoy it too. If you haven't been once, you should try it. The sign by the jukebox says "No Dancing," but I've heard that after the beer has been flowing. . .

I love this place! I had the catfish steaks. They were tender and meaty with a perfect crunch. The hushpuppies were the best I have ever had. I need to see if I can order a basket of those next time. Fries were crisp on the outside and tender inside. Hospitality was incredible. This is my favorite catfish place in LR. There's nothing better. Period.

This is an "American Routes" type place. I passed by this Lassis Inn" for decades until someone introduced it to me. The only thing I can share with you is the food is %100, the service is %100 and the ambiance is %100 to me. I highly recomend you check it out and decide for yourself!
