Great food. Always a warm welcome and great service. Two colleagues and I frequent this establishment as our favorite. I only wish the menu could be expanded to include Kimchi (not Japanese but an excellent dish!). Nothing but excellence at this fine restaurant. 5 stars totally earned.

I love this place! I've been to eight to ten Japanese sushi restaurants, and I'm going to say this is in my top two (Uchi in Austin, TX is very rad). It isn't just the food. It's the people, the atmosphere, and the music playing--it all puts me in a perfectly happy mood. At first, I found their sushi very good but heavy on the rice, but the rice goes a long way towards making one full, and the flavors are still there, so now I find it a win-win. The prices are certainly competitive with other nearby sushi/hibachi places, and they have these great Early Bird deals on Mon-Thurs (I think from 4:30-6:30pm or close to that) fo $11-15 each where you get rolls of sushi, other combinations, and soup or salad. A couple can eat WELL for just $30, plus tax and tip, and leave there full. I really like their vegetable hibachi entree, too. Definitely give this place a few tries and see for yourself!

TL;DR One of the best selections I've seen and amazing service. I tried a variety of their sushi on my first trip to really get a feel for it. I had the mini roll (fried crab roll) and it was amazing. Hurricane (fried with raw salmon inside) to die for. Spicy Tuna roll (typical raw tuna, but very good), spicy crunchy ( crunchy crab roll covered in spicy mayo) was my wife's favorite next to the mini roll. Kentucky roll (fried chicken and honey mustard) delish. And the fruit punch (a variety of fruits covered in chocolate rolled up to make you believe it must have come from heaven) the best thing I've tasted in months. The various staff we spoke to were very polite and helpful. My drink never hit the bottom even as I left (many refills), the food was out quickly and they offered several suggestions both while we ordered and after we ate (based on our comments about our current order). This place has a sleek modern atmosphere that isn't pretentious but feels good. And they had Over on the TV in the corner. The lighting is perfect. I am excited thinking about what I will be able to try on our next visit, but we are for sure ordering another fruit punch and a strawnana roll for dessert. The bad: my old choices for sushi won't seem near as good as I will constantly be wishing for more Ikura.

My husband and I were excited to try this place. Found out, over priced and not enough food for such a decent amount of money they want to charge! Waitress was busy doing other things rather than check in on us, but that's okay. We're learned that this is definitely not one of our restaurants we planned on coming back too.

Where to start. The lettuce in the salad was brown, the chicken was over cooked and the sauce was burned. Service was fairly quick except for the waitress having to answer the phone while taking our order.

First thing you see is a sushi bar with blown glass fish running along wall, clean lines, and friendly servers. I was greeted and offered a menu. I regret I was only ordering to go. I bought nigiri, I never knew the name of it before. They took the time to figure out what I was wanting and got it straight. Loved it. Watching the sushi chef work was great! Can't wait to go back and try everything! I wanted to add, because I noticed a complaint on price from another review. Fine dining costs and the portions are not small. Mine was very large I've paid just as much for half the size and qaulity. If you want loaded plates cheap fast to to a fast food place. Japanese quinine is light and pretty. Lol. For reals people.

10.50 for a bowl of vegetables and noodles is WAY too expensive. If it was really good, I might be more forgiving, but the Vegetable Udon I ordered was nasty. It tasted like dirt and fish. The staff was alright, but the food was not good at all especially for how much it cost.

First time here. Visiting from Texas and this place was recommended. Very glad we came. Food was fresh and well prepared. Our server, Destiny was great and even the manager greeted and checked on us. We will definitely be back!

We had a gross experience here. The soba dish I ordered had an unpleasant taste, very unlike soba I have eaten at other Japanese restaurants. I ate two bites and my husband ate one bite. We both agreed that it was not prepared well. (My husband ordered sushi, which was good.) We both ordered salads, which were wilted and kind of gooey. The women's restroom had no soap. They weren't out of soap, I mean there was no evidence that soap had ever existed in that bathroom There was no soap dispenser, no soap pump bottle, no soap dish. The staff we dealt with were very nice. However, when our server asked her manager to remove the soba from our bill, he/she took $2 off. The soba was $10.25, so basically I feel like I just paid $8.25 for garbage that I had a total of three bites from. We will absolutely never eat at this restaurant again, and I do not recommend it.

This is now one of my favorite new places to eat. The food is fantastic. It is Japanese cuisine. They have sushi, veggies, rice, and the grill. They have appetizers, tempura, soups and salads, sashimi, temaki, nigiri, ikura rolls, cutlets, soba, udon, and desserts. They do have a children's menu. They also have hot green tea. They have options for the vegetarian and the non-vegetarian. The service is 5 star alone as well as the food. The restaurant is very clean as well as the bathrooms, cleanest I have seen yet, I take my kids with me the staff are fantastic with them. They do close in between lunch and dinner. The hours are monday- Thursday 11am-2:30pm*5pm-9:30pm friday&saturday 11am-2:30pm*5pm-10pm and Sunday 12pm-9pm. Through the week they close from 2:30pm-5pm. So if you like Japanese Ikura should be at the top of your list to try next

I have experienced a lot of sushi restaurants and this one rates at the top. Never mind it is in a small town in Arkansas, it is wonderful!! The decor, atmosphere and food were exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant.
