This place has excellent food. However we were disappointed with the changes to McDonalds style menu over the cash register, plastic plates and silverware. Food was delivered by a server in a timely manner and service was excellent. We were told that the changes were an experiment. But we really liked the ambiance before. I hope they reconsider.

The wait staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was both beautifully presented and superbly delicious. My aunt chose to sit us close to the entrance which is NOT my favorite place to sit and yet I still enjoyed it immensely.

We went today, and knew they had changed some things. The food was good, but it’s more of a self service place now, paper plates, plastic forks. Beeper system to get your order. I had seen online that the new menu offered lower prices, and they did have a new “small” order of the regular plates, but the regular items we usually order were the same price. I guess one positive, you won’t have to leave a tip. Oh and it’s extra for more than one “yum-yum sauce”. I don’t eat sushi, so I can’t comment on that.

Love this restaurant! Always good food and the owner is pretty awesome. Friendly staff and the establishment is always clean. They have call head for a quick lunch break and it's also a great place for a sit down family meal.

I met the owner Julie, she was very sweet very professional and welcoming. Both her and her husband are originally from Florida so I know that they keep it real! The decor is very elegant and welcoming. The staff is very cheerful and friendly if you happen to see a waitress named Rachel she is your girl she will treat you like family!!! as you come in the staff greets you with a smile and you can absolutely tell that they all love their jobs by how they treat customers. I’m a sushi lover and I chose “The Rainbow Roll”

Used to eat here quite often. Completely changed business practices. Food served on styrofoam plates with plasticware. If I wanted fast food feel and service I would save my money and go to McD.

Won't be going to this place again. Charges $.25 per yum yum sauce on orders and the portions are not large for the amount. Have been here a few times and items have been forgotten and then when we call it isn't we are sorry, rather well that is your problem. The good news is there is a better place in town to eat at with larger portions and better quality meats.

This place is the bomb. My family and I had recently moved to the area and we’re not impressed with Harrison selection of Oriental food until we met Hoshi. We went there on my daughter’s birthday and they really do a pretty cool birthday deal. The food was off the chain. This is now my favorite place to eat ever. Hands-down five stars.I thought I didn’t even like sushi and I don’t even remember what I got but I love it absolutely love it.

What’s not to love about this place ?? Super friendly staff , clean quiet atmosphere and a KIDS CORNER!!! Not to mention incredible food and reasonable price we seriously ate like kings but paid poor man price, the cashier was very patient and helpful and substituted the meat in my Wes Cali roll , first time there and DEFINITELY NOT THE LAST

I rarely give 5 stars, but I had an outstanding meal and waitress tonight. Had the Southern California roll for the very first time based on Jazzy's suggestion. She then took time to teach me how to eat it correctly!! I'm so excited to go back and try another new dish now!!!

The noodles were outstanding. Excellent flavour and really delicious white-meat chicken. I'd have to say this is the best Asian cuisine I've had in Harrison. When I ordered I was put on hold for a long time, and eventually got hung up on, but they were very apologetic when I arrived and the quality of food more than made up for it. Would highly recommend. Edit: I had Hoshi for the second time today, and they continue to impress. My whole family ordered, and we had sushi, hibachi chicken, and steak noodles. All the food was amazing. Our order was prepared very fast, and when I arrived they remembered who I was, what I ordered last time, and thanked me for my review on here! This is a must-try restaurant in Harrison.

We go here alot. My wife and I enjoy the American Dream, South Calli, and The Dream. We normally get 2 rolls and a habachi plate. It feeds me my wife and kids. They have a little play area for my kids so my wife and i get to talk and they get to play win win. Good egg rolls and out stickers. We love the yum yum sauce. All In all great place the only thing that keeps it from being 5 stars for me is the noodles they were good but not 5 star. Great place to eat real freindly.

We found this little restaurant a few months ago and it immediately became our favorite place to go. However, we went again last night and we probably won't be going back. They changed things up and I'm not impressed. It's now like a fast food restaurant. Your order from the counter when you walk in, like McDonald's. No servers, and when YOU pick your food up from the counter, like McDonald's, it's now served on paper plates and you eat with plastic forks, like McDonald's. You get your own drinks at the drink fountain with styrofoam cups. The food was still good, which is why they get 3 stars. They said they lowered their prices, but I didn't notice a change in any prices. Not impressed with these changes and probably won't be going back.

Different than most sushi places, more Americanized theme, but sushi was good, family friendly with a play pen for little ones. Decent prices and portions as well.
